Gabriel Black pinned Neytron DelArmeggio with the Destiny Hammer in 0:16:42. Rating: ***** Match observations: The Middle-Aged Outlaws were up to even less good than usual as they challenged the Ontario Color Show to a non-title match, and promised to bring in the girlfriend of "Holiday" Hunk Higgins, Bretta "The Barmaid" Biffcork, to be their manager, as well as VCW entrance music writer and ringside lackey "The Pest of the West" Jesse Smark. How this pair gets so much airtime is still a mystery. It didn't help them avoid the beating they took from the Ontario Color Show, however... they're obviously not VCW World Tag Team Title material. The Inquisition has never made a secret of the fact that Troy Black, the brother of Inquisition leader Gabriel Black, is their number-one enemy... but then why would they send the low man on the totem pole, Rex Richards, to challenge him? They must have known that Troy Black would have little trouble defeating Rex Richards, so it might have been a ploy to scout Troy's strengths and weaknesses. Then again, there wasn't much that Rex Richards could learn from thirteen minutes of being taken apart by Troy Black, other than perhaps to learn not to challenge Troy again until he gets a lot better. While talented, small wrestlers like Troy Black often beat larger but less-talented wrestlers, Devaccio Pola wasn't so lucky. Tuxedo, the butler of the Golden Society and the most untalented slob in VCW, nevertheless managed to use his massive size to dominate the much smaller Devaccio Pola and come away with a win after a devestating jack-knife power bomb. Oddly enough, Tuxedo is undefeated in VCW in spite of a lack of talent. The Towel Match between Melissa DelArmeggio and Moy Lazzario, and its controversial ending, only leaves more confusion in their situation than ever. Troy Black ran to the ring, forced Stormy Weathers to throw in the towel when Melissa was facing permanent injury, and in doing so saved her from the Inquisition for the second week in a row. Now, while the Inquisition still hates Melissa DelArmeggio AND Troy Black, Melissa DelArmeggio doesn't want anything to do with any of them, while Troy Black and Stormy Weathers have become enemies, though Troy saved Melissa DelArmeggio, who Stormy manages. This situation is not becoming any clearer immediately. David Wright Hubbard all but demanded that Marylin Silvera take a shot at his Intercontinental Title. While Marylin Silvera was very happy to oblige, he was destroyed in the ensuing match against David Wright Hubbard. Because of pre-match stipulations, he will now have to defend his Television Title against a member of the Inquisition next week... and that could be any member, from Gabriel Black on down to Rex Richards. While he arrived too late to save his sister from Moy Lazzario's sadistic attempts to cripple her, Neytron DelArmeggio showed a rare moment of compassion, attempting to avenge his sister's torture by challenging Gabriel Black, the root of all of the Inquisition's brutality, to a match. While Neytron put up a valiant fight, it was ultimately meaningless, as Gabriel Black defeated him soundly and decisively, taking another huge step in establishing the dominance of the Inquisition. While we know that Troy Black will face the Inquisition's Torturer at Wrestlewar, the rest of the card is still up to speculation. The Ontario Color Show and the Middle-Aged Outlaws have developed a strong dislike for one another, but such a mismatch would hardly be fit for Wrestlewar. The Inquisition still probably wants to finish what they started with Melissa DelArmeggio, but Stormy Weathers, her manager, now has a bone to pick with Troy Black. Meanwhile, VCW stars like Gabriel Black, Lance Errington, Tim Bell, and Lance Errington still haven't committed to any particular match for Wrestlewar, which leaves a world of possibilities concerning what will happen next.
