Match observations:

The VCW executive booking committee was greeted with a rude shock at the
opening of tonight's show when Hell's Bikers stormed the executive lounge,
demanding to see tonight's match schedule. To their great disgust, they found
that instead of facing the Immortals in a return match from last week, they
were paired off against the Bull Moose Party, to begin a chain of events that
would lead to the most unlikely champions in VCW history.
But before that were happen, the prayers of many VCW fans, and several
wrestlers as well, were answered when Troy Black and Falcon agreed to set their
differences aside after their brutal Submission Strap Match at Disaster Area
and work together. They extended a challenge to the Inquisition, which has
since been accepted. It is official. At VCW's nest pay-per-view event, Gang
Wars, Falcon and Troy Black will team up with the Annihilators to battle
Gabriel Black, the Torturer, Bass Rogers, and David Wright Hubbard in the main
event.
Rushmore made his singles competition debut today, failing to impress
anyone too much, and defeating the Super Giant Ninja. He has the size and power
to be successful in VCW, even if he is somewhat odd.
Johnny Smiles wasn't himself today. Instead of his usual catchphrases
and mischief, he had a challenge for Lance Errington, Dean Sanders, and Lady
Erica Whitmore to meet DeJohnnyration X in a War Games Match at Gang Wars,
which has also since been accepted by Lance Errington. One has to think,
however, that Lady Erica Whitmore would be a huge weak link in the Golden
Society team. While there's no question that Lance Errington and Dean Sanders
could at least hold their own against Johnny Smiles and Marty Jannetty, the
last time Virginia and Erica met in the ring, Erica was manhandled for several
minutes.
In spite of an attempt at convincing Jessica Judd to leave her
relationship with Gabriel Black, Rob Solomon ended up unsuccessful in that
regard. After a hockey stick shot to the head, he was somewhat more successful
in winning the subsequent match against Jessica Judd, in a rematch from the
match that was supposed to take place last week. That didn't stop Gabriel Black
from making some dire warnings about what could happen to Rob Solomon were he
to continue to meddle in Gabriel's business.
The Torturer absolutely mauled Jacob Idol tonight, nearly wrenching his
arm out of the socket and picking up a quick, decisive victory via an armbar
submission in a mere three and a half minutes. The Torturer is becoming more
and more unstoppable by the day... but in contrast, Jacob Idol's career
advancement has slowed considerably. Ever since defeating Moy Lazzario in the
falls-count-anywhere match, he's been in somewhat of a slump, losing first to
Crimson in Crimson's first wrestling match, then losing like this tonight to
the Torturer.
The Immortals certainly thought they were going to come out ahead
tonight when they avoided Hell's Bikers in favor of granting a match to Stormy
Weathers's team of Melissa DelArmeggio and Haigeikobai, but it didn't turn out
that way. Due to the interference of Hell's Bikers, the unlikely team of
Melissa DelArmeggio and Haigeikobai are the new VCW World Tag Team Champions.
While Melissa DelArmeggio deserves some credit for an intense, fast-paced, if
not technically skilled style of wrestling that has brought her great success,
Haigeikobai is singularly the most untalented wrestler in VCW today. Why Stormy
chose to pursue the tag team titles with this team, instead of the more
talented duo of Bunkhouse Buck and Dick Slater that he also employs is a
mystery to everybody... but the fact remains that Melissa DelArmeggio and
Haigeikobai are the VCW World Tag Team Champions as of tonight.
They aren't the only new champions crowned tonight. Lance Errington,
fresh off reclaiming the vacant VCW Intercontinental Title against Marty
Jannetty, put the title on the line against Richard Tobian's VCW World Title
shot at Blood and Thunder... and he lost. Apparently Lance Errington feels that
he has outgrown the VCW Intercontinental Title... but in this case, by wanting
everything, he ended up with nothing. Richard Tobian is the new VCW
Intercontinental Champion.
Next week, the road to Gang Wars continues. Gabriel Black, the Ontario
Color Show, Neytron DelArmeggio, and the Annihilators will all be present, and
Devaccio Pola will defend his VCW Television Title against Marylin Silvera in a
return match from last week. Join us next week for all the great VCW action!!
