Match observations:

How the tables can turn in one week. After a non-stop rampage last
Monday night, the Inquisition found its numbers drastically cut as James
Lockman barred every member of the Inquisition who participated in the attack
on Richard Tobian from the building tonight. In addition, he announced an
amazing double main event for next week's show, leading into Gang Wars, as Troy
Black will challenge the Torturer for the VCW Intercontinental Title, and
Falcon will finally get another shot at Gabriel Black for the VCW World Title.
And furthermore, heavy stipulations have been laid on the Blood and Thunder
title match, should Gabriel Black come away from his match with Falcon next
week still the VCW World Champion.
After announcements like these... anything that followed would seem
anticlimactic... so leave it to Stormy Weathers to come to the ring and take
care of that. Stormy didn't get to run his mouth for long tonight, because the
Wrecking Crew immediately stormed the ring and demanded a shot at Melissa
DelArmeggio and Haigeikobai. Stormy Weathers agreed to let them into the match
already scheduled should they beat Bunkhouse Buck and Dick Slater. They did.
What followed was even more ridiculous than Stormy Weathers, as Ruby
Richard Cage introduced his new tag team partner, Wham Bam Gigolo. By all
appearances, this guy's an even bigger loser than Hunk Higgins was, though he
did manage to defeat Russel "The Muscle" Taylor tonight.
Both Crimson and Neytron DelArmeggio tried to talk Jessica Judd out of
her relationship with Gabriel Black, but she would have none of it. Crimson got
off with an argument, but Neytron DelArmeggio, now a self-proclaimed hero,
wasn't so lucky. Jessica Judd challenged him to a match. It was a back and
forth display of technical wrestling, with Neytron DelArmeggio coming out ahead
until he took a vicious blow from the guitar, courtesy of the Road Girl.
After disposing of the Super Giant Ninja, Jacob Idol made a challenge to
his fellow VCW wrestlers to stand with him against the Inquisition. He wanted
three men to join him to take on Moy Lazzario, the Manhunters, and Rex Richards
in a match at Gang Wars where the losers would be kicked out of the building
following the match. The idea behind this is to keep the main event fair by
preventing the Inquisition from interfering to help their comrades. By the end
of the night, two men had already answered the call, as the Ontario Color Show
agreed to help Jacob Idol in his effort to fight back against the Inquisition.
Moy Lazzario was quick to accept Jacob Idol's challenge on behalf of the
Inquisition; it seems that he's still angry over his loss to Jacob Idol in the
falls-count-anywhere match at Disaster Area. He also extended a challenge to
the Annihilators for a match against himself and Bass Rogers next week, adding
another great match to an already amazing card.
Chris Champlain warned Marylin Silvera to stay out of his way... so it's
no surprise that Marylin Silvera decided to flaunt his disrespect for Chris
Champlain by costing him a VCW Television Title victory over Devaccio Pola. If
Chris Champlain was annoyed by Marylin Silvera before, he's downright furious
now. One has to question the wisdom of Marylin Silvera's actions, challenging a
man who eagerly takes Hockey Stick Matches with Rob Solomon, and was
responsible for injuring Johnny Smiles in a horrific Hardcore Cage Match.
The Golden Society showed today that they're not at all worried about
their upcoming War Games Match against DeJohnnyration X at Gang Wars, but could
that be a mistake? If they spend too much time goofing off, they could be in
serious trouble at Gang Wars; if there was one thing in his life that Johnny
Smiles was somewhat serious about, this upcoming match is it.
Falcon and Troy Black are ready for their upcoming encounters with the
Inquisition, both next week and at Gang Wars. With some urging from Falcon,
they even agreed upon a rather unusual bet on the outcome of Gang Wars.
However, given their past history, it's still possible that some disunity could
exist between them... and they'll need to be working together efficiently to
beat the Inquisition at Gang Wars. Falcon appears to have forgiven Troy Black
for their problems in the past, but what about the Annihilators? There are a
lot of variables, and a lot of potential problems ahead for these two unlikely
allies.
Faced with the two teams that many say are the best teams in VCW today,
Melissa DelArmeggio and Haigeikobai unbelievably managed to keep their titles
thanks to a great deal of luck and a loophole in the contract signed by the
Wrecking Crew. Unbelievably, due to the elimination rules of their match,
Haigeikobai and Melissa retain the titles for another day. The Wrecking Crew
has grown increasingly upset over this... and it's suspected that they're
planning some sort of retribution for Gang Wars.
Next week, at the final VCW show before Gang Wars, the card is stacked
through the roof. The Annihilators will take on Moy Lazzario and Bass Rogers.
Troy Black will wrestle the Torturer. And Falcon will take on Gabriel Black in
their first meeting since the Big Fight over three months ago. Join us next
week for all of the great VCW action, and don't forget to catch Gang Wars,
coming up in thirteen days, live on pay-per-view!!
