Match observations:

After bringing the idiotic Wham Bam Gigolo to VCW recently, Ruby Richard
Cage followed up this week by bringing in someone who appears to be, if
anything, even worse, a second colleague by the name of Bunyan. The trio of
Ruby Richard Cage, Wham Bam Gigolo, and Bunyan have united in a quest to become
the VCW World Tag Team Champions. Considering that the current holders of the
titles are Melissa DelArmeggio and Haigeikobai, that might not be such an
impossible goal. But first, tonight's disappointing match against the Bull
Moose Party has prompted the three of them to challenge all three members of
the Bull Moose Party at Gang Wars.
The Immortals and Hell's Bikers, wrestling each other in two singles
matches tonight, resolved nothing, when they split their victories 1-1. Though
Jack Norman was able to beat Robert Danson, Ken Collins evened the score by
making Butch Manson submit to the California Crossface. These two teams will
settle their rivalry, hopefully once and for all, at Gang Wars, when they
compete in a tag team match against one another.
Jacob Idol's quest to form a team to fight the Inquisition's lesser half
has been completed with the addition of Tim Bell. At Gang Wars, Jacob Idol, Tim
Bell, and the Ontario Color Show will take on Moy Lazzario, Rex Richards, and
the Manhunters... the losing team will be forced to leave the building for the
rest of the evening. By this stipulation, Jacob Idol hopes to keep the main
event free of interference.
In addition to volunteering to be the fourth man on Jacob Idol's team,
Tim Bell took on Marylin Silvera tonight. With the help of Chris Champlain, he
defeated Marylin Silvera in a rematch from their Disaster Area conflict. This
only adds more bad blood to the growing rivalry between Chris Champlain and
Marylin Silvera, and it also adds another match to Gang Wars. Chris Champlain
and Marylin Silvera will go one on one this Sunday.
Owen Addison had a lot to say for himself tonight, going on a tirade
against hardcore wrestlers such as Rob Solomon and Devaccio Pola, who he
challenged to try to beat him in an ordinary, clean wrestling match. They
accepted, but Owen Addison caught a baseball bat that Haigeikobai threw into
the ring, meant for interception and use by Rob Solomon, and used it to win the
match... revealing himself to be a total hypocrite in the process.
This didn't sit well with Rob Solomon and Devaccio Pola, who took
exception to Stormy Weathers's meddling. The Wrecking Crew also took this time
to confront Stormy about the somewhat underhanded legal tactics that Stormy
Weathers used last week to avoid losing the VCW World Tag Team Titles. Rather
than face these four men himself, Stormy threw his employees to the slaughter
and escaped. As a result of this incident, a match has been signed for Gang
Wars: Rob Solomon, Devaccio Pola, and the Wrecking Crew will face Haigeikobai,
Melissa DelArmeggio, Dick Slater, and Bunkhouse Buck this Sunday at Gang Wars.
The Golden Society wasn't present in force tonight, but DeJohnnyration X
made their presence felt with a strong victory over the Inquisition tonight.
They've promised another victory at Gang Wars against Lance Errington, Dean
Sanders, and Lady Erica Whitmore... but with Lady Erica Whitmore's lack of
ability aside, it's going to be tough for DeJohnnyration X to win a War Games
match against Lance Errington and Dean Sanders, who are both far more
accomplished as submission wrestlers than any member of DeJohnnyration X. The
key would obviously involve Virginia getting her hands on Lady Erica Whitmore
and strangling the life out of her... but can Johnny and Marty hold up well
against Lance and Dean?
After tonight's double main event, the Inquisition is at a definite
disadvantage going into Gang Wars. First of all, Troy Black is the new VCW
Intercontinental Champion after a stunning victory over the Torturer. And
though Falcon was unable to win the VCW World Title from Gabriel Black, he was
able to pin Gabriel Black for the first time ever. It was an unofficial pin,
and certainly not at fair odds, heavily due to Troy Black's interference... but
it has to have a horrible effect on Gabriel Black's confidence going into Gang
Wars, as he suffered the indignity of being carried backstage in a lifeless
heap for the first time in his VCW career.
With all of the chaotic developments tonight, just days before the big
event itself, Gang Wars is shaping up to be more spectacular than ever. Don't
miss Gang Wars, this Sunday night, on pay-per-view!!
