Match observations:

One day out of Blood and Thunder, the face of VCW is already changing
drastically. The reformations of the "wrestling entertainment" program taking
effect, combined with the news of the departures of Melissa DelArmeggio,
"Dirty" Dick Slater, and Bunkhouse Buck, the usual chaos and mayhem of VCW, and
the announcement of our next pay-per-view event, Survival of the Fittest, on
September fifth made this a very action-packed, exciting night that won't be
soon forgotten.
First of all, it is indeed true: Unfortunately, Melissa DelArmeggio has
left Violent Championship Wrestling, due to the condition of her contract, in
favor of a career in professional women's tennis. On behalf of all of the
staff, wrestlers, and fans of VCW, I would like to wish her the best of luck in
her future tennis career.
The Survival of the Fittest Tournament was also announced and started
today, with Rob Solomon upsetting David Wright Hubbard and Falcon defeating
Jessica Judd to advance in the tournament. The brackets now look like this:

Next week, we will continue the tournament with two more matches, as Dean
Sanders wrestles Devaccio Pola and Lance Errington wrestles Marty Jannetty.
Speaking of Marty Jannetty, he's had his problems lately. After being
knocked senseless by the Breakdown from the Wrecking Crew, he blamed fellow
DeJohnnyration X member Johnny Smiles for the loss. For the time being, it
looks like Johnny and Virginia managed to calm him down, but it's likely we
haven't heard the last of this story.
Marylin Silvera wasn't happy at all about the outcome of his Blood and
Thunder match with Jessica Judd, and challenged her tonight to an Evening Gown
Match, of all things, at Survival of the Fittest. Jessica Judd seems ready to
accept, though she brushed Marylin Silvera's challenge aside tonight in favor
of focusing on her match with Falcon. Not that it did her any good... she was
still unable to beat Falcon despite his injuries.
The new partner-in-crime of Hell's Bikers, Dick Douglas, proved that he
can be a deciding factor in their matches even when he isn't a referee.
Tonight, he helped them to screw the Annihilators out of their match with
Hell's Bikers by throwing Butch Manson a crowbar, which he used to knock Jeff
Wright out for the pin.
Neytron DelArmeggio didn't have any better luck tonight against Gabriel
Black than he did last night against Troy Black. It looks like his mouth
doesn't understand that sometimes his skills can't back it up. He'll get
another chance to earn a shot at Gabriel Black's VCW World Title, because he's
also entered in the Survival of the Fittest Tournament. The question is, is he
really ready for world title-caliber matches?
Speaking of VCW World Champion Gabriel Black, he was pretty active
today. Not only did he put Neytron DelArmeggio decisively in his place, he also
orchestrated a brutal attack on David Wright Hubbard, as a result of an
argument that started when David Wright Hubbard failed to beat Rob Solomon. One
can only assume that this means David Wright Hubbard is out of the Inquisition.
Gabriel Black also took the time to invite Richard Tobian to meet him
again in a rematch at Survival of the Fittest, then sent him on a thirty-day
vacation, complete with a parting attack to remember him by. Earlier in the
show, Richard Tobian had said that he would not dispute his thirty-day
suspension for striking a referee if Chris Jericho would wrestle him tonight.
By costing Richard Tobian the match tonight, Gabriel Black has not only fueled
the hatred Richard Tobian has for him, but he has also ensured that Richard
Tobian won't see active VCW competition again until Survival of the Fittest,
which has to be a serious aggravation to Richard Tobian.
Next week's show should be another big one. The Survival of the Fittest
Tournament continues, as Dean Sanders takes on Devaccio Pola, and Lance
Errington takes on Marty Jannetty. In addition, many of VCW's top stars will be
in action, including the Golden Society, the Technicians, Marylin Silvera, and
Troy Black! Don't miss a second of next week's installment of VCW Monday Night
Wrestling!!
