Match observations:

We're fresh off of Spontaneous Combustion, and already the foundations
of VCW are being shaken with major news announcements and new challenges.
First and foremost as an announcement is the fact that VCW will be pre-
empted on December twentieth for a special Christmas movie: Genghis Khan's
Christmas Adventure, starring VCW's own Terry "Hunk" Higgins. While many VCW
fans might be upset by this decision, VCW has responded by booking a special
live show to be broadcast this Wednesday night from the Key Arena in
Washington. The card for this Wednesday in Washington already looks stacked,
and it's anyone's guess what will take place in VCW in the coming weeks.
Among the first to come up with a plan to take advantage of this coming
Wednesday's live event was VCW World Champion Gabriel Black. A loophole in
Owen Addison's contract for a title shot enabled Gabriel Black to coerce
Owen into fighting another man who will be getting a shot at the VCW World
Title in a short while, Lance Errington. While on the surface, the plan
seems fairly simple, merely having two of Gabriel Black's enemies soften
each other up, the plot thickened as the night went on.
The Golden Society, perhaps inspired by the recent success of Lance
Errington, was really fighting aggressively tonight. Not only did Dean
Sanders interfere to ensure that Chris Champlain would defeat Rob Solomon in
a no-holds-barred anything goes match tonight, but later on, Neytron
DelArmeggio would join Dean Sanders and Chris Champlain in viciously
attacking Devaccio Pola and Rob Solomon. Despite minor injuries to his neck
and a pair of golfball-sized welts on his head, Devaccio Pola is ignoring
the advice of his doctors and preparing to defend the VCW Television Title
this Wednesday in Washington. Talk about all guts and no brains... this
could be a career-ending mistake for Devaccio Pola.
Just when it seemed that Crimson was finally back on track, destroying
Rex Richards on his way to finally getting his hands on Gabriel Black again,
another obstacle came into his path in the form of Bass Rogers. Though Bass
Rogers gives up almost a foot of height to Crimson, he's built like a tank,
and probably outweighs Crimson despite a lack of height. They had a pretty
even brawl in the aisle tonight, after Bass Rogers interrupted Crimson's
match with Rex Richards with a devestating chairshot. If this rivalry
between these two powerhouses evolves any further, we may be in for a series
of violent, ugly brawls.
As usual, Moy Lazzario is getting an inflated opinion of himself. This
time, he's disputing Tim Bell's victory over him last night in the six-man
tag team match at Spontaneous Combustion. It was a pretty convincing,
cleanly-earned victory... leave it to Moy Lazzario to dispute that. Anyway,
the core of his argument seems to be that he wants another chance to prove
that he can beat Tim Bell. If that's what he wants, he's probably not going
to have a hard time getting it... but he may have a hard time proving that
Tim Bell's victory over him was indeed a fluke.
After last night's unfair loss to Falcon, David Wright Hubbard has
evidently decided to attack the core of his problem, the Torturer, this
Wednesday in Washington. While he made it abundantly clear that he's not
finished with Gabriel Black or Falcon, David Wright Hubbard now has his
sights set on the man who ruined a probable victory for him last night, the
Torturer. The Torturer, who came up short tonight in an Intercontinental
Title match against Troy Black, hasn't yet said anything in response, but by
running to the ring and attacking David Wright Hubbard during his match with
Richard Tobian, he spoke more loudly with actions than words. At any rate,
the Torturer certainly doesn't seem like the kind of man to be afraid of any
challenge set before him. This is shaping up to be a violent conflict
between the two men who may be more vicious and dangerous than anybody else
in VCW.
The Immortals didn't fare too well on their first night as members of
DeJohnnyration X. Though they won their match against Hell's Bikers when
Jack Norman got fed up with being outwrestled and clocked Robert Danson with
a lead pipe, they certainly didn't come out as winners, after they were both
laid out by Hell's Bikers and their weapons. What Hell's Bikers did next was
just plain brutal and horrible; they stripped Nicole to her underwear, then
Jack Norman Chokeslammed her and carried her away backstage. No new news has
been heard on this situation, but it's a good bet that the Immortals are
eager for revenge after what Hell's Bikers have done.
Falcon wasn't present at the arena tonight, but he did find the time to
send in a video challenging Lance Errington and Lady Erica Whitmore to a
mixed tag team match against Falcon and Rebecca Black, and challenging the
Annihilators to face the Manhunters, this Wednesday in Washington. Looking
into the more distant future, at the next VCW pay-per-view, Deck the Halls,
he also granted a match to Troy Black as a Christmas present, which Troy
happily accepted. On top of all this, when you consider that David Wright
Hubbard still isn't done with Falcon, it looks like Falcon could have a very
dangerous time ahead of him in the coming weeks.
Gabriel Black's plan for Owen Addison and Lance Errington was deeper
than just having them wear each other out tonight. Gabriel Black interrupted
the match personally by coming into the ring with a chair and laying out
both men, as Rebecca Black disposed of their valets, Jennie and Lady Erica
Whitmore, in a similar fashion. With that accomplished, the entire
Inquisition piled into the ring for a massive gang beating on Owen Addison
and Lance Errington. David Wright Hubbard, Troy Black, Crimson, the
Annihilators, and the two remaining Technicians all came to the ring to
fight off the Inquisition, but not before some damage was done; both Lance
Errington and Owen Addison took a hell of a beating. It's highly doubtful
that Owen Addison will be fully healed and ready to go one-on-one with
Gabriel Black this Wednesday in Washington.
The next edition of VCW Monday Night Wrestling is still one week away,
but in a mere two days, VCW puts on a special live show, this Wednesday in
Washington. Gabriel Black will wrestle Owen Addison. Falcon and Rebecca
Black will take on Lance Errington and Lady Erica Whitmore. David Wright
Hubbard will go one-on-one with the Torturer. All this, and a whole lot more
is expected to take place this Wednesday in Washington. Join us in forty-
eight hours, and don't miss a minute of the great, exciting action from
VCW!!
