Match observations:

It's been a mere twenty-four hours since Disaster Area, and the fallout
from that event continues to shake VCW in ways that could have lasting effects
for months to come. Some of the ambiguity is raised by events in previous
months is starting to clear up, and it's finally starting to become clear whose
side people are on. In some cases, it's not at all what we'd expect.
The fact that Johnny Smiles was obviously in over his head in a big way
last night against wrestling legend and VCW Commissioner "Pretty Boy" Jimmy
Lockman hasn't deterred him a bit in his quest to "fight against the system" in
VCW. He made that clear tonight, promising that he'd do whatever he wanted, and
claiming that the ruling powers of VCW couldn't stop him. Of course, as soon as
the words left his mouth Tattoo, Arthur Justice, and the H.A.R.P. Squad showed
up, forcing him to bail out of the ring and retreat through the crowd. With all
due respect to Johnny, there is something to be said in favor of knowing when
to quit in situations like this one.
Hell's Bikers are really on a roll these days, it seems. Not only did
they shock the world by dominating the Wrecking Crew at Disaster Area, but now
they have decisively beaten the Annihilators tonight. The biggest, strongest
tag team in VCW seems to have gotten even more dangerous in the past few weeks.
Another thing to be considered is that Hell's Bikers would later dominate the
Wrecking Crew again tonight and reveal that they have a new, very dangerous
friend...
In between attempting to keep the piece among his brother Gabriel and
Falcon, Troy Black laid out an open challenge tonight. Neytron DelArmeggio, an
old enemy of Troy Black with whom he had a major feud ten months ago, answered
the challenge, claiming that Troy Black didn't deserve the title shot won from
Crimson last night. They proceeded to bring the house down with an excellent
match, which ended in a Troy Black victory, proving that he still has Neytron's
number. Strangely, the crowd got behind Troy Black tonight in this match... is
this just indicative of how much everyone hates Neytron, or could it be a sign
that Troy is starting to get back in the good graces of the fans?
Julian Page certainly takes winning the VCW Intercontinental Title
seriously, going so far as to hold a small press conference to discuss his
title win. He certainly has every right to take pride in his accomplishments;
beating David Wright Hubbard under any circumstances isn't easy for a rookie
like Julian Page, and the Intercontinental Title victory has to be considered
the biggest win of his career. But it remains to be seen how long he will hold
onto that title.
Despite Lady Erica Whitmore's seemingly prudent and loyal actions at
Disaster Area, Gabriel Black still intended to see her punished. As before,
Falcon intervened on her behalf, but this time without as much success; all
that he accomplished was to get himself and Erica into a handicap match against
Bass Rogers and the Manhunters. Troy Black tried to convince Gabriel Black to
show them mercy, and nearly changed his mind twice, but Falcon and Erica were
inevitably in a compromising position of some sort as Gabriel walked into the
dressing room to pardon them. Therefore, the match took place, and the three
Inquisition loyalists beat the hell out of Falcon, finishing him with an awe-
inspiring Triple Diving Headbutt. Even after the match, Falcon and Lady Erica
Whitmore were continually assaulted, until Troy Black ran to the ring and
chased the attackers away. It looks like the Inquisition is splitting cleanly
down the middle after tonight. But what more will come of this situation?
Perhaps the most remarkable fallout from Disaster Area is a severe
change in attitude by Crimson. After suffering his first loss to Troy Black at
Disaster Area, Crimson went ballistic tonight, attacking everything he could
lay his hands on. He attacked Devaccio Pola, the Annihilators, and other
innocent bystanders for no reason, verbally berated his fans, and turned on his
former friends the Wrecking Crew. That latter action resulted in the Wrecking
Crew meeting him in a handicap-match in the main event. Though perhaps only one
or two men in VCW have any hope of beating Crimson one-on-one, Crimson seemed a
little outmatched by two world-class athletes like the Wrecking Crew, and may
have incurred a second loss, had not Hell's Bikers came to the ring and
destroyed the Wrecking Crew. After the match, Crimson and Hell's Bikers seemed
to form an alliance, and all four men beat the hell out of the Wrecking Crew.
It's clear that should this alliance last, it'll be one of the most feared
forces in VCW.
Next week's show should be another big one. With a seemingly inevitable
Inquisition breakup, the new threat of Crimson and his new accomplices, and the
rapidly changing scene in VCW, it's anyone's guess what will happen next Monday
night. What is known is that top VCW stars like Gabriel Black, Lance Errington,
David Wright Hubbard, and Julian Page will be present. In addition, it's
rumored that the VCW Championship Committee will take immediate action
regarding Troy Black and Falcon's inactivity in defending their VCW World Tag
Team Titles. Make sure you join us next week, for another great edition of VCW
Monday Night Wrestling!!
