LIVE ON PAY-PER-VIEW!!

Welcome, everybody, to Blood and Thunder! We're ready to get started with what should be one of the biggest nights in VCW history. Sit back, strap yourself in, and prepare for hour after hour of exciting wrestling action! We're all ready to kick things off tonight, so let's go straight ahead to our opening match, a Hair Versus Hair Match!

"Cherub Rock" by the Smashing Pumpkins begins playing, and the crowd cheers as Sophie comes out of the backstage entrance, wearing tight blue denim bell bottoms and a white T-shirt, and begins walking to the ring with a carefree smile on her face. She doesn't have any of her royal combat gear tonight, so her alleged superstrength and invulnerabilities won't be affecting this match. She climbs into the ring, then performs a flurry of martial arts moves and poses for the crowd, getting another round of cheers. She's still smiling, but depending on the abilities of her opponent, she could be in for a rough time tonight.

With Sophie in the ring, Pantera's version of "Cat Scratch Fever" begins playing over the sound system, and the crowd gives a confused mix of boos and catcalls as Lazalyth the succubus demon steps out of the backstage entrance, wearing her usual chainmail bikini and chainmail loincloth. She walks to the ring, staring down the aisle at Sophie with a predatory snarl, then climbs inside and places her hands on her hips, never once taking her eyes off of Sophie. We don't know if she's much of a wrestler, but when it comes to Sophie and her opponents, we never really know much of anything about what'll happen next. Jerry Rogers enters the ring, holding up a pair of electric shears that the winner will use to shave the loser, and calls for the bell to begin the match!

Hair Versus Hair Match:

Sophie

vs.

Lazalyth

Sophie goes into a karate stance immediately, advancing towards Lazalyth, but Lazalyth pulls a lighter out of one of her boots, then puts it under her lips AND BREATHES FIRE!! Sophie is caught near the edge of the fiery blast and staggers back, clutching her face... and Lazalyth rushes forward, then takes her down with a clothesline that sends Sophie into a wild, out-of-control spinning bump! She pulls Sophie up by the hair, then backs her into the corner and draws back, and nails her hard in the face! Sophie flies backwards over the top rope to the floor, clutching her face again, and as the camera zooms in it can see red blood trickling freely from Sophie's mouth. Lazalyth must have some sort of super strength, because she's really demolishing Sophie with a few basic moves!

Sophie begins trying to pull herself to her feet, and as her hands come away, it's clear that she has blood running from her mouth down her chin. She seems to be semi-conscious already... and inside the ring, Lazalyth just ran into the ropes... and she dives through the ropes onto Sophie with a plancha! Sophie goes down again, and the crowd's boos are once again mingled with catcalls and whistles as it becomes clear in the landing that Lazalyth's only wearing a small black thong under her chainmail loincloth. She pulls Sophie up, smiling at the pained, dazed look on her face, then licks some of the blood off of her chin and smiles. Sophie may already be beaten, and Lazalyth rolls her back into the ring, then comes in after her.

Sophie's still trying to pull herself up, but as she gets up Lazalyth just stands back and laughs. She's toying with her now, daring her to get up... and when Sophie stands again, Lazalyth draws back and takes another swing at her! But Sophie ducks, then drills Lazalyth with a series of kicks to the midsection, pivots, and brings her down with a spin kick to the back of the head! Sophie goes down to one knee herself, clutching the side of her head in pain, but the crowd's cheering loudly... she just took Lazalyth down! They both get back up, and Lazalyth swings at Sophie again, and once again Sophie ducks, then pops up and kicks her in the head! Lazalyth stays on her feet this time, but Sophie runs into the ropes, then comes off with a spinning leg lariat that takes her down again!!

Sophie pulls herself up again... but Lazalyth gets up effortlessly behind her! She's not hurt at all! Sophie turns around and sees her, then screams and falls to her knees, begging for mercy! Lazalyth smiles evilly and grabs Sophie by the hair... and Sophie quickly grabs her and takes her down with a fireman's carry! Lazalyth starts to get up, but Sophie doubles her over with a swift kick to the midsection near the ropes, then pulls up the chainmail loincloth in back to reveal the black thong, draws back, and gives Lazalyth a swift kick in the butt that sends her tumbling out of the ring through the ropes! The crowd cheers loudly, and Sophie smiles. But once again, Lazalyth's up, and this time she's limping severely... it seems that she hurt her knee on the outside!

She crawls into the ring, and Sophie hooks her by the hair as she tries to stand... DDT!! Lazalyth's down, and Sophie covers! Jerry Rogers counts ... ONE!! ... And only one, before Lazalyth kicks out! Sophie pulls her up by the hair... but now Lazalyth elbows her in the midsection, causing Sophie to double over severely in pain! Lazalyth grabs Sophie by the hair, then draws back a fist and NAILS her!! Sophie flies back across the ring from the impact, landing in a heap... and somehow, she's still trying to get up!! She stands up, but from the look in her eyes, it's clear that nobody's home. She staggers forward... into an embrace from Lazalyth! Lazalyth holds Sophie tightly and kisses her on the mouth, and Sophie struggles briefly, but then she goes limp! Never breaking the kiss, Lazalyth guides Sophie down to her back on the mat, placing her hands firmly on her shoulders, and Jerry Rogers counts... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... THREE!! Lazalyth has beaten Sophie!

Hair Vs. Hair Match:
Lazalyth pinned Sophie after a kiss in 0:04:25.
Lazalyth injured her right knee. She will be out approximately 1 month.
Rating: -**

The crowd boos, and Lazalyth draws up from the kiss with Sophie, licking Sophie's blood from her lips. She must have drained her energy with that kiss, because Sophie's not moving now. This was a total slaughter... and now Jerry Rogers hands Lazalyth a pair of electric shears! She smiles and grabs Sophie's head, then begins shaving her hair off. Waves of lustrous black hair fall from Sophie's head, until she's left with only a hint of stubble on her head. Lazalyth gathers up the fallen hair, then presses her face to it and inhales, smiling despite a bit of pain showing through on her face. And now she's turning back to Sophie, beginning to talk... and somehow, as she speaks, her voice carries throughout the arena without a microphone!

Lazalyth: Foolish human girl. I will keep your hair as a trophy to remind me of how you paid for your insolence. Now, in the name of Queen Morgana, I shall guide your soul into hell. And you, my lovely little plaything, shall enjoy every second of it.

What the hell... Lazalyth goes down and kisses Sophie again! And now she slides her hand down under the waist of Sophie's pants! The crowd's cheering and whistling loudly as Lazalyth touches and rubs Sophie's private regions, but she may be trying to steal her soul with succubus demon magic! Sophie could be in serious jeopardy... but wait!! Someone's coming out of the backstage entrance... Russel "The Muscle" Taylor!! Russel Taylor runs to the ring and slides inside! Lazalyth gets up with a little bit of difficulty, then smiles sweetly to Russel and beckons him to come forward... but Russel yells "NO!!" and reaches into his pocket... he pulls out a cross! Lazalyth recoils from him, but Russel Taylor advances on her, then presses the cross into her chest! Lazalyth screams and falls back to the mat, thrashing in agony... and Russel Taylor grabs the electric shears, then cuts off a lock of her hair!

Lazalyth continues convulsing on the mat as Russel Taylor forces the cross down onto her... and now smoke's starting to issue from her body!! Thick white smoke comes forth from Lazalyth as she struggles under the cross, obscuring both her and Russel Taylor... and soon, her screams fade! The arena ventilation system comes on, and soon the smoke is dispersed... and when it clears up, Lazalyth is gone! Russel Taylor must have destroyed her through the power of his religious faith!! He still has a lock of her hair that she cut off, and he pulls a small white envelope from his pocket, then places the hair inside and puts it in Sophie's pocket. Russel Taylor looks down at Sophie now, hairless and still unconscious, and falls to his knees in front of her! His eyes begin to gleam, and tears start running down his face!! Russel Taylor is crying in the middle of the ring as he looks down at Sophie's fallen body!

Russel Taylor presses his ear to Sophie's chest, and seems to take a little heart as he notices that she's still alive. He lifts her up, cradling her in his massive arms, then begins carrying her backstage. Sophie's still unconscious, but at least now the worst seems to be over, and Russel Taylor will be able to carry her to safety. He carries her up the ramp, nearing the backstage entrance... but someone comes out of the backstage entrance!! CHRIS CHAMPLAIN!! He rushes out of the backstage entrance, wielding a steel chair, and cracks Russel Taylor over the head with it! Russel Taylor goes down, dropping Sophie, and Chris Champlain crawls on top of him, continuing the attack with a series of right hands to the face!

Chris Champlain's still straddling Russel Taylor as he reaches into his pocket... and he pulls out a hunting knife!! We've seen this before... Russel's gonna get slashed to ribbons! No, Chris Champlain draws the knife high above his head, raising it to stab! He can't! He'll kill him!! Chris Champlain thrusts down... AND RUSSEL TAYLOR JERKS HIS HEAD TO THE SIDE! Chris Champlain stabs the steel ramp instead, and Russel Taylor nails him with a forearm, knocking him off! Russel Taylor gets to his feet, and Chris Champlain throws a punch at him as he gets up, but Russel Taylor blocks, then returns fire, hammering Chris Champlain with a series of right hands of his own! Chris Champlain staggers down the ramp, and Russel Taylor rushes after him, then drops him with a clothesline at ringside!

Fortunately, at the top of the ramp some medics are tending to Sophie. Russel Taylor sees that she's in good hands, then clobbers Chris Champlain with a few forearms to the back as he attempts to stand, then scoops him up and bodyslams him on the steel ramp! Chris Champlain sits up, arching his back in pain, and Russel Taylor pulls him up again, then hooks him for a vertical suplex and lifts... but instead of taking him over, he drops him gut-first across the guardrail! Chris Champlain goes down among the fans, kicking and squirming as he clutches his midsection, and Russel Taylor's climbing over the guardrail after him! He hammers him with some forearm shots as he gets up, staggering him back, then grabs him and whips him into the guardrail! Chris Champlain hits the guardrail back-first, then slumps against it... and Russel Taylor charges him, then knocks him over into the ringside area with a clothesline!

Chris Champlain is down at the side of the ring, and Russel Taylor follows him out, then goes after him and grabs him to pull him up... but Chris Champlain just reached under the ring and pulled out a lead pipe, and he nails Russel Taylor in the leg with it as he tries to pull him up! Russel Taylor goes down, clutching his right knee, and now Chris Champlain's reaching down... he pulls up the protective mat on the outside, exposing the concrete! He pulls Russel Taylor up and tries to lift him for a bodyslam, but Russel Taylor blocks it and clobbers him in the back! He rolls Chris Champlain into the ring, then climbs in after him, and Brendan Powers calls for the bell... we're going to start a match!

Chris Champlain

vs.

Russel "The Muscle" Taylor

Russel Taylor gets to his feet, but he's limping severely... it's clear that he's badly hurt, after having his leg taken out with a pipe. Chris Champlain gets up as well, and Russel Taylor charges him, taking him down with a limping clothesline! Chris Champlain gets up again, and Russel Taylor rushes him with another clothesline, despite the pain that moving so fast causes him! Chris Champlain's up again... and Russel Taylor mows him down with a third clothesline, but then collapses to the mat, holding his knee in pain!

Russel Taylor tries to shake off the pain, and he gets up again, going over to Chris Champlain... but Chris Champlain catches him with a low blow! Russel Taylor doubles over, and Chris Champlain grabs him in a headlock, then takes a running start and brings him down with a bulldog! The crowd boos, and Chris Champlain gets up, smiling evilly, then grabs Russel's right leg and drops an elbow into it! Russel Taylor cries out in pain, and Chris Champlain just smiles, then stands up and does it again! He's trying to cause Russel Taylor as much pain as possible, we know that much... and he gets up again, then grabs the leg and starts trying to turn him over! He's going for a half Boston... but Russel Taylor brings the other leg up and kicks him in the head, breaking the half Boston attempt!

Chris Champlain gets up before Russel Taylor, and goes for a punch, but Russel Taylor blocks it, then hammers Chris Champlain with an elbow to the midsection! Chris Champlain doubles over, and Russel grabs him as he gets up, then whips him into the ropes. Chris Champlain comes off... and Russel Taylor takes him down with a huge powerslam in the middle of the ring! He hooks his leg and holds the pin, and Brendan Powers counts... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... Kickout at two and a half by Chris Champlain! Russel Taylor yells out "IF AT FIRST YOU DON'T SUCCEED, TRY AGAIN!" then cinches down on the pin tighter, covering again, and Brendan Powers counts... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... Again, Chris Champlain kicks out at two and a half! The second try didn't work out any better than the first...

Russel Taylor gets up again, walking with a slight limp, then hammers Chris Champlain with a few forearm shots to the side of the head and whips him into the turnbuckles. Chris Champlain staggers out, and Russel Taylor scoops him up, then bodyslams him to the canvas! He drops an elbow on him, then covers him and hooks the leg again, as Brendan Powers counts... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... Kickout at two and a half again by Chris Champlain! With all due respect to Russel Taylor, he's facing one of the toughest competitors ever known to VCW, and he's going to have to step it up a little bit more if he wants to leave here with the victory tonight!

Chris Champlain's getting up again, but Russel slips behind him, then grabs him and lifts, bringing him crashing down with a belly-to-back suplex! Chris Champlain hits hard, then starts trying to pull himself up again, so Russel Taylor grabs him and... puts on a headlock. He clinches Chris Champlain in a side headlock, then wrestles him to the mat and clamps down tighter on it. This might not be such a great strategy either... Russel should probably be making use of his size and strength advantage by executing power moves, rather than trying to outwrestle Chris Champlain on the mat. Chris Champlain reaches up and pulls Russel Taylor's hair to break the headlock, then slips behind him, grabs his right foot, and puts on a stepover toehold facelock!! He has Russel Taylor in an STF, but Russel Taylor quickly struggles to the ropes and grabs the bottom rope, forcing the break of the hold. Chris Champlain takes a full four-count from Brendan Powers before releasing it, though.

Chris Champlain stomps down on Russel's wounded right leg several times, then pulls him up by the hair and snap mares him down to the mat! Russel Taylor's down, and Chris Champlain walks into the ropes, then comes off to drop a leg on him. Rather than going for the pin, though, he pulls Russel Taylor up, then whips him into a corner of the ring and follows him in with a knee to the midsection! Russel Taylor doubles over, and Chris Champlain jumps up and brings him into the center of the ring with a big Frankensteiner! He gets up rather than holding it for the pin, then pulls Russel Taylor up as well, and takes him down with a big snap suplex! Chris Champlain's just destroying Russel Taylor with a constant barrage of offense here!

Chris Champlain gives Russel Taylor's right leg a few more stomps, then goes up to the top turnbuckle... but as he does, Russel Taylor gets up too! Russel Taylor catches him on top, then grabs him and Gorilla Press slams him off the top!! Chris Champlain crashes hard to the canvas, and Russel Taylor charges him, cutting him down with a limping clothesline! Shaking out his leg, he turns and charges Chris Champlain again, but this time, Chris Champlain ducks, swings up on his arm, and brings him down with a crucifix! Brendan Powers goes down to count... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... And it looks like Chris Champlain intentionally let Russel Taylor up at two! He's trying to prolong his agony! Russel Taylor grabs the ropes, then pulls himself up on the ropes... but Chris Champlain charges, then leaps at him with a high cross body! Russel Taylor falls out over the top rope to the floor, underneath Chris Champlain!!

On the floor, Chris Champlain crouches on top of Russel Taylor, raining right hands down on his face. He grabs him by the hair and takes him face-first into the ringpost, then rolls him into the ring and pulls him crotch-first into the ringpost! The crowd lets out a sympathetic "oooh" as Russel Taylor doubles over on the mat... but Chris Champlain grabs his legs and twists, then leaps on... applying a figure-four leglock around the post!! Russel Taylor thrashes about in pain, and Brendan Powers orders Chris Champlain to release the hold, but he takes his full four seconds before releasing it! And now he's grabbing a chair... but Brendan Powers has seen enough of this, and he steps out to the outside, and jerks the chair away before Chris Champlain can use it! Chris Champlain scowls at him, as Russel Taylor begins to get up, then climbs up on the apron near the concrete that was exposed earlier. But Russel Taylor's up, and he rushes forward with a shoulderblock... and it connects!! Chris Champlain flies backwards from the apron onto the exposed concrete on the floor, landing with a sickening sound like a raw steak dropped on the floor, and the crowd explodes into cheers! A huge "VCW!" chant begins in the crowd, and this might be all for Chris Champlain!

Brendan Powers enters the ring again and begins making his twenty count. His count was interrupted by having to take the chair away from Chris Champlain, so he starts over, as Chris Champlain writhes on the floor. It doesn't look like he'll make it back in... no, wait, he's stirring! Chris Champlain's up at fifteen!! He staggers forward and crawls into the ring, stopping the count at eighteen, and he's back in this match! Russel Taylor seems to be a bit surprised at that, and he quickly assaults Chris Champlain with forearm shots as he gets up! Russel Taylor backs Chris Champlain into the ropes, then whips him to the other side and nails him with a limping clothesline as he comes off! Chris Champlain goes down, but he's starting to get up again, so Russel clobbers him in the back, then puts on a standing headscissors! He's going for the Power Bomb... but Chris Champlain grabs his legs and takes him down, then turns him over into a Texas Cloverleaf!!

The crowd boos, and Chris Champlain smiles a pained, triumphant smile as he leans back on the Texas Cloverleaf, putting pressure on Russel Taylor's right knee. Just seconds ago, he was splattered on the concrete, and now Chris Champlain may have this match won! But Russel Taylor's refusing to quit... he plants his hands down on the mat and presses up! He's trying to power out of it, and slowly but surely, he's making his way up! He's in great physical condition, from all his hard work and training, and that may just save him here as he pushes up, taking the pressure off... and he pushes out of the hold! Russel Taylor just broke the Texas Cloverleaf, and the crowd erupts!

Chris Champlain gets up, smiling down at Russel Taylor as he gets to his feet, then punches him in the face... but Russel Taylor just shrugs it off! Chris Champlain draws back and punches Russel Taylor again, but again, he shrugs it off, getting to his feet! The crowd's cheering loudly, and Russel Taylor's shaking, feeding off of their energy! Chris Champlain draws back for a third punch, but Russel Taylor blocks it, then fires back with one of his own! He rocks Chris Champlain with a series of punches, then runs into the ropes, still with a limp, and takes him down with a clothesline! Chris Champlain gets up again, and Russel Taylor runs into the ropes again, then hits him with a second clothesline! Chris Champlain gets up again... and one more time, Russel Taylor comes off the ropes and nails him with a clothesline! He's fighting back, with his strength of will overcoming his leg injury, and Chris Champlain's in real trouble now!

Russel Taylor lifts Chris Champlain over his head in a Gorilla Press, then pumps him up and down a few times before hurling him to the canvas! Chris Champlain crashes down hard, and Russel Taylor goes into a three-point stance, waiting for him to get up again! Chris Champlain gets up... and Russel Taylor charges, mowing him down with a huge clothesline! Chris Champlain goes down hard, and now Russel Taylor's pulling him up into another standing headscissors! He lifts him... this'll be the Power Bomb!! No, Chris Champlain gouges his eyes as he gets to the high point of the Power Bomb, and Russel Taylor falls backwards under him! Chris Champlain lands on Russel's shoulders, then turns a back somersault and gets up at Russel's feet! He grabs his feet and turns him over... TEXAS CLOVERLEAF!! He has him again!

Russel Taylor's caught in the Texas Cloverleaf again, and once again, he's in the middle of the ring! Can he power out again!? He's fighting the hold, trying to power out, but Chris Champlain just keeps leaning back on it, tightening his grip! Russel Taylor struggles, trying now to crawl to the ropes, but Chris Champlain's holding him tightly in the center of the ring! Russel Taylor drags himself towards the ropes slowly... but then he goes limp! Brendan Powers goes down to check on Russel Taylor, then quickly calls for the bell... Chris Champlain just won this match!

Chris Champlain defeated Russel Taylor when the referee stopped the match in 0:13:42.
Rating: *

Chris Champlain has won this match... but he's not letting go of the Texas Cloverleaf! He's continuing to pull back on the hold. Fortunately, the H.A.R.P. Squad seems to have anticipated this, and they're running down to the ring quickly! They slide inside and pry Chris Champlain off of Russel Taylor, pulling him kicking and struggling from the ring. Russel Taylor gave it all he had tonight, refusing to quit, and he gave Chris Champlain one hell of a fight, but Chris Champlain walks away with the victory here. Is this the end of it, or will we see a rematch between these two men? Some trainers are out now to help Russel Taylor up, and they help him to hobble to the back. The crowd cheers Russel Taylor as he departs... he gave a tremendous showing against a main-event level competitor, and they haven't forgotten that as he leaves in defeat.

We're going to see the SJW World Tag Team Titles defended now. "No Remorse" by Metallica begins playing, and that brings forth the team of Conquest Aizawa and Sadako Momotani, to a mixed reaction of mostly boos from the crowd. The two women they'll be facing tonight aren't very popular here in VCW, but these two are clearly not very likable souls either. Conquest Aizawa is five and a half feet tall and two hundred pounds of stocky female aggression, with hair cut in a very butch-looking crew cut and black and red war paint around her eyes, while Sadako Momotani is attractive, but in a sinister way, wearing a leather jacket over a black leotard that features skull designs on it in silver trim. They enter the ring, glaring around at the fans in contempt... these are two of the most hated women in SJW, and it's clear that they're not making any friends among VCW fans either.

And now "Superbeast" by Rob Zombie begins playing, and a small portion of cheers can actually be heard over the drone of boos as Komachi and Virginia come out of the backstage entrance, accompanied by Minako and Stormy Weathers, wearing the SJW World Tag Team Titles. I guess some fans prefer the devils we know to the devils that we don't know. All the same, the crowd would probably like nothing better than to see these four women beat the hell out of each other until nothing's left. Virginia and Komachi climb into the ring and take off the SJW World Tag Team Title belts, staring across the ring cautiously at their opponents. Finally, Komachi steps out of the ring, and so does Conquest Aizawa. Linda Peterson comes in and calls for the bell, and this match is on!

For the SJW World Tag Team Titles:

Komachi & Virginia (c)
w/Stormy Weathers & Minako

vs.

Conquest Aizawa & Sadako Momotani

Virginia steps forward to face Sadako Momotani. It looks like a bit of a mismatch... Virginia's the biggest woman in the ring by far, and Sadako the smallest. But Conquest Aizawa enters the ring, suddenly getting cut off by Linda Peterson, who demands that she return to her corner... and as she distracts Linda Peterson, Sadako Momotani draws a fork out of the cleavage of her leotard, then stabs Virginia in the forehead with it! She puts a headlock on Virginia, then slashes the fork across her forehead repeatedly! Komachi charges into the ring to stop her, but Sadako conceals the fork momentarily as Linda Peterson turns around, then sees Komachi and ushers her out of the ring as well! With Linda Peterson occupied now by Komachi, Sadako Momotani pulls out the fork again and resumes raking it across Virginia's forehead! She lets go as Linda Peterson turns around, and Virginia staggers back, her forehead busted open by that rough treatment!

Sadako Momotani tucks the fork back into her leotard, as Virginia reaches up and feels the blood on her forehead! She yells out in rage, then charges, but Sadako takes her down with a drop toe hold, then floats over, grabs her by the hair, and rubs her face into the mat! She climbs on Virginia's back, then grabs her face and begins pulling back, like a camel clutch but using a face hold instead of a chinlock! She leans back, stretching Virginia's face painfully, but Linda Peterson tells her that that's not a legal hold and begins counting, so Sadako reaches down and hooks under her chin, putting on a regular camel clutch instead. She starts pulling back... but Virginia powers her way up! Rather than hang on to the end, Sadako lets go, then dropkicks Virginia in the knee as she tries to stand, sending her back down. Sadako Momotani gets up again... and now she makes the tag to Conquest Aizawa!

Virginia gets up again, and this time comes face to face with Conquest Aizawa! Conquest Aizawa hammers her in the bloody face a few times, then whips her into the ropes and runs off the other side... but Virginia catches her in the middle with a massive clothesline! Conquest Aizawa pops up again and screams, daring Virginia to try that again, and Virginia runs off the ropes, then comes back with another clothesline... but this time, Conquest Aizawa ducks, then wraps around behind Virginia and lifts, bringing her crashing down with a belly-to-back suplex! Virginia pulls herself up to her feet, and this time Conquest Aizawa runs into the ropes, then drills Virginia to the mat with a massive Axe Bomber when she comes off the other side! Virginia's down, and Conquest Aizawa adds in a little more punishment by administering a bootscrape to her bloody forehead!

Virginia starts getting up again, and Conquest Aizawa tags in Sadako Momotani again. They both hook Virginia for a double vertical suplex... but Virginia blocks! She hooks both of them tightly, then lifts... AND SUPLEXES BOTH OF THEM!! The crowd explodes into cheers! Conquest Aizawa pops up angrily, but Virginia doubles her over with a swift kick to the midsection, then lifts her up... GORILLA PRESS!! Virginia just suplexed well over three hundred pounds, and now she's pressing a two hundred pound woman up above her head! Sadako Momotani gets up... and Virginia tosses Conquest Aizawa down on top of her! They both go down, and Virginia tags in Komachi!

Virginia dumps Conquest Aizawa out of the ring, then Virginia scoops up Sadako Momotani as Komachi heads to the top turnbuckle. Virginia bodyslams Sadako Momotani, then steps aside as Komachi coms off the top turnbuckle with a flying elbowdrop to the sternum! Sadako Momotani shakes with the impact, and Komachi hooks a leg for the cover! Linda Peterson counts... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... And only two, before Sadako Momotani kicks out! Undaunted, Komachi picks her up and tosses her into the corner, then unloads on her with a series of stiff punches and kicks in the corner! Sadako Momotani starts to stagger out, and Komachi hooks her, then takes her over with a huge belly-to-belly overhead suplex!

With Sadako Momotani down, Komachi grabs her legs, then turns her over into a Boston crab! Sadako Momotani screams, and her screams get louder and more anguished as Komachi leans back into the hold, stretching her painfully. She begins struggling, pulling herself across the ring towards the ropes... but Komachi just stands up, drags her back into the center of the ring, and sits down on it again, getting a renewed burst of screaming from Sadako Momotani! But on the apron, Conquest Aizawa seems to have seen enough, and she climbs into the ring, blasts Komachi in the side of the head with a big punch to break the hold, then slips out again.

Komachi glares hatefully at Conquest Aizawa, then pulls Sadako Momotani up... but Sadako Momotani catches her with an eye gouge! Komachi staggers back, clutching her eyes, and Sadako Momotani runs into the ropes, then nails Komachi in the face with a dropkick as she comes off! Komachi goes down, then starts getting up again, so Sadako Momotani runs into the ropes and dropkicks her again as she stands! Once again, Komachi begins getting up, but she's doubled over, and this time Sadako Momotani just draws back and kicks her stiffly in the face! Komachi straightens up and staggers back into the ropes, then forward a step or two, and Sadako Momotani leaps up and brings her down with a Frankensteiner! She sits down on Komachi, reaching back to cradle her legs as Linda Peterson counts... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... And Komachi kicks out at two!

Sadako Momotani gets up, then makes a tag to Conquest Aizawa, and the two women whip Komachi into the ropes. Conquest Aizawa blasts Komachi with an Axe Bomber as she comes off the other side, and Sadako Momotani runs in and drops a leg across her face! Conquest Aizawa runs into the ropes, then comes off and jumps up, landing on Komachi with a big running senton! She leans back and hooks a leg for the cover as Linda Peterson counts... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... Komachi kicks out at two and a half! Angered, Conquest Aizawa pulls Komachi up again, then bodyslams her to the mat. She backs into the ropes, then comes off with a big splash! She hooks the leg again, and Linda Peterson counts again... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... And again, Komachi kicks out at two and a half!

Conquest Aizawa is looking more and more pissed off by the second, and she pulls Komachi up by the hair now. She whips Komachi into the ropes, then grabs her by the throat with both hands as she comes off! She has her up in a choke lift, possibly looking for a double choke bomb, but Komachi kicks her in the midsection before anything can come of it! Conquest Aizawa drops Komachi and doubles over, and Komachi grabs her by the hair, then drives a bionic elbow straight into her forehead! Conquest Aizawa staggers back, then rushes Komachi with a clothesline, but Komachi ducks under her, runs off the ropes behind her, then comes off to take her down with a spear! Conquest Aizawa goes down under Komachi, and Komachi crawls over her, pelting her with a series of devestatingly stiff punches and actually getting a pop out of the crowd!

Komachi goes to her corner and tags in Virginia, then picks up Conquest Aizawa and gives her a massive backbreaker. Virginia drops an elbow on her, then covers, and Linda Peterson counts... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... Kickout at two by Conquest Aizawa! Virginia picks her up, then tosses her out of the ring and climbs out after her! She clobbers Conquest Aizawa on the outside with a series of big right hands, then whips her into the guardrail! Conquest Aizawa staggers out, into Virginia's clutches... SPINEBUSTER ON THE FLOOR!! Those thin mats on the outside don't provide a lot of protection, and underneath there's concrete, and Conquest Aizawa just crashed down on it back-first! And now Komachi's coming over for a two-on-one attack, crawling on top of Conquest Aizawa and beating the hell out of her!

Linda Peterson begins yelling at Komachi to get off of Conquest Aizawa... but as she does, Sadako Momotani leaps off of the apron and grabs a chair on the outside! Virginia's not watching her... and Sadako comes from behind, then drills Virginia with the chair! Virginia stumbles forward, and Sadako whacks her on the back again with the chair, causing her to fall down! Now she drops the chair, and picks Virginia up... DDT on the chair!! Sadako Momotani just laid Virginia out on the outside! Stormy Weathers comes from behind, grabbing Sadako Momotani by the hair, but she turns around, then kicks him in the groin! Stormy Weathers doubles over, and Sadako Momotani grabs a handful of his hair, then takes him face-first into the ringsteps, getting a pop from the crowd! I guess that even when given a choice between a pair of Japanese outsiders who have shown themselves to be a pair of complete soulless bitches and Stormy Weathers, the crowd still doesn't like Stormy.

Conquest Aizawa gets up, with Komachi having been forced to get off of her, and now Virginia's still down on the outside! Conquest Aizawa rolls her into the ring, then climbs up on the apron and climbs to the top turnbuckle! Virginia's down in the ring, and Conquest Aizawa takes flight... GUILLOTINE LEGDROP!! She just came down hard with a rolling legdrop to Virginia's neck, and now she's going for the cover! This could be it, as Linda Peterson counts... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... Komachi enters the ring and breaks the pin with a knee to the back at two and a half! Virginia crawls over and tags in Komachi, and now Komachi charges Conquest Aizawa, but she runs right into a massive kick to the midsection! Conquest Aizawa grabs Komachi by the throat with both hands and lifts... DOUBLE CHOKE BOMB!! That's it, Komachi is DEAD! Conquest Aizawa covers, and Linda Peterson counts... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... THR... Komachi throws a shoulder up at two and three-quarters!!

Conquest Aizawa glares down at Komachi, then scoops her up and bodyslams her. Komachi's down again, and Conquest Aizawa goes up to the top turnbuckle! She leaps off... GUILLOTINE LEGDROP!! No, Komachi rolled out of the way! Conquest Aizawa just crash-landed on her butt! She holds her tailbone in pain, then crawls to her corner, and now she tags in Sadako Momotani. Sadako Momotani enters the ring and pulls Komachi up, then hooks both of her arms... but Virginia charges into the ring, and nails her with a massive clothesline, breaking up whatever move she was attempting! Linda Peterson orders Virginia back to her corner, trying to maintain some semblance of order, but that's lost as Conquest Aizawa comes back into the ring, opening up on Virginia with a series of blows to the face!!

Sadako Momotani gets up, but Komachi's up as well! Sadako runs into the ropes, but Komachi dodges a dropkick as she comes off, then draws back and kicks her square in the face as she gets up again! Komachi comes from behind where Conquest Aizawa is hammering her partner, and cuts her off with a series of stiff, clubbing blows to the back of the head! She whips Conquest Aizawa to the ropes... no, Conquest Aizawa reverses, then runs off the other side! They meet in the middle, and Komachi ducks an Axe Bomber, then whirls around, leading with her fist... URAKEN!! Conquest Aizawa goes down hard!! But Sadako Momotani runs up, then dropkicks Komachi in the back of the head, sending her down as well!

Sadako Momotani stomps at Komachi a few times, then turns around... and Virginia grabs her as she does! Virginia whips Sadako Momotani into the ropes, then catches her as she comes off... SPINEBUSTER!! Virginia just drilled Sadako Momotani hard into the mat, and she lets out a triumphant scream! She picks Sadako Momotani up again, grabbing her by the throat... CHOKESLAM!! Virginia just splattered her on the canvas! Komachi gets up, and Conquest Aizawa's up as well... but Linda Peterson's attention is momentarily on Virginia and Sadako Momotani! Conquest Aizawa turns to Komachi... BLUE MIST!! Komachi just sprayed mist in her face, unseen by Linda Peterson, then draws back and gives her a savate kick to the face! Conquest Aizawa topples out of the ring, and Sadako Momotani is trying to pull herself up off of the mat. Komachi kicks her in the midsection, then puts on a standing headscissors... she lifts, and takes a running start... RUNNING POWER BOMB!! Sadako Momotani just got folded up like a piece of paper, and Komachi holds it for the pin! Linda Peterson counts... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... THREE!! The SJW World Tag Team Champions retain!

Komachi and Virginia defeated Conquest Aizawa and Sadako Momotani when Komachi pinned Momotani with the Running Power Bomb in 0:17:07.
Rating: ** 1/2
(Komachi and Virginia retained the SJW World Tag Team Titles.)

The crowd gives a mixed reaction of boos and cheers as Komachi and Virginia are declared the winners and presented with the SJW World Tag Team Titles. On the outside, Conquest Aizawa wipes the mist out of her eyes, then reaches into the ring and pulls out her fallen partner. She glares into the ring at Komachi, but she must accept the fact that tonight, they'll be walking away without the titles as they head backstage. Stormy Weathers enters the ring, celebrating the victory with Virginia, as Minako applauds and smiles on the outside of the ring. Komachi leaps up on Virginia, hanging off of her by her legs and one hand as she raises the SJW World Tag Team Title belt high with the other hand, and finally the celebration in the ring begins to die down, as Virginia, Komachi, and their entourage begin making their way backstage.

We're going to head through to another match now... "Kashmir" by Led Zeppelin starts playing, and the crowd boos as Jacob Idol comes out of the backstage entrance, accompanied by Jasmina Chastity. He walks down the aisle, looking ahead to the ring with an arrogant smile. He's planning on taking Tim Bell down a few notches... the Hammer of the Gods would love to wipe out the Technicians tonight, and we have reason to believe that they're planning something. He climbs into the ring, stretching and loosening up for a fight, as the crowd continues to boo.

And now "Through The Never" by Metallica begins playing, and that brings out Tim Bell, to a modest round of cheers from the crowd. In many ways, he's been the one member of the Technicians who has remained focused on trying to further his own career and watch out for his teammates. He wanted this match tonight to send a message to the Hammer of Gods, and let them know that the Technicians are not, by any means, ready to be written off yet. He enters the ring, locking eyes with Jacob Idol, and stretches in preparation for the upcoming match. Bobcat McGavin enters the ring and calls for the bell, and this match will begin now!

Tim Bell

vs.

Jacob Idol
w/Jasmina Chastity

They lock up in the middle of the ring, and Jacob Idol immediately hones in on Tim Bell's left arm, grabbing it and twisting it in an armwringer. Tim Bell injured his left rotator cuff in a match with Jiro Tobikuma a little over a year ago, and Jacob Idol's trying to take advantage of that and do some damage to his arm. Tim Bell seems to have been expecting this approach, though, because he quickly drops down and rolls out of it, then grabs Jacob Idol's arm with both hands and whips him to the ropes, then runs off the other side and takes him down with a jumping kneelift when they meet in the middle! Jacob Idol gets up again, but Tim Bell grabs his head and snap mares him to the ground, into a sitting position, then runs into the ropes behind him and comes off with a dropkick to the back of his head! Jacob Idol lurches forward from the impact, then falls back, and Tim Bell gets up and drops a leg on him, then covers! Bobcat McGavin counts... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... Only two, before Jacob Idol kicks out.

Jacob Idol starts to get up, but Tim Bell slips around behind him and grabs him, then lifts and brings him down with an atomic drop! Jacob Idol staggers forward, and Tim Bell runs into the ropes, coming off to cut him down with a jumping clothesline when he gets up! Jacob Idol rolls out of the ring, wanting to lick his wounds and clear his head on the outside, but Tim Bell grabs the top rope, and catapults himself out onto Jacob Idol with a slingshot cross bodypress to the floor! Jacob Idol goes down underneath Tim Bell, and the crowd cheers as Tim Bell raises a fist, then starts hammering it into Jacob Idol's head! But Jasmina Chastity comes from behind and grabs a handful of Tim Bell's hair, pulling him away! Tim Bell whirls angrily around to face Jasmina, but then turns back to Jacob Idol and hammers him with another punch, refusing to be distracted!

Tim Bell pulls Jacob Idol up and tosses him into the ring, then climbs to one of the top turnbuckles... but Jacob Idol pulls himself up by grabbing a handful of Bobcat McGavin's shirt, pulling him between Tim Bell and himself in the process! Bobcat McGavin begins shoving Jacob Idol, trying to shoo him away... but as he does, Jasmina Chastity jumps up on the apron, then shoves Tim Bell off of the turnbuckle! Now he's angry, and he gets up quickly and grabs her by the arm, yelling... but now Jacob Idol comes from behind and nails him with a low blow! Tim Bell doubles over, and Jacob Idol grabs his arm and brings him to the ground by it, then holds it flat on the mat and drops a knee on the shoulder! Tim Bell yells out in pain, but Jacob Idol just gets up, still holding his arm down, and kneedrops his left shoulder again!

Tim Bell starts to fight his way up, but Jacob Idol kicks him in the stomach, then grabs him by the hair and takes him head-first into a turnbuckle. He shoves Tim Bell back in the corner, then gives him a few knees to the midsection. He climbs up on the second turnbuckle and starts punching away at Tim Bell... but Tim Bell grabs him by the legs and steps out, then brings Jacob Idol down with a big inverted atomic drop! Jacob Idol doubles over, wincing in pain, and Tim Bell runs into the ropes, then comes off to take him down with a swinging neckbreaker! Tim Bell goes down to cover, and Bobcat McGavin counts... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... And Jacob Idol throws a shoulder up at two!

Jacob Idol starts to get up, but Tim Bell grabs him with a side headlock as he does, grinding down on it... but then Jacob Idol breaks the headlock with a pull of the hair, then grabs his left arm and twists it around into an armwringer! Tim Bell cries out in pain, and Jacob Idol sweeps his legs, then twists even harder with Tim Bell on the mat! Tim Bell rolls on the mat to take off the pressure, then kips up and slips behind Jacob Idol, hooking him around the waist, then lifts him up and brings him down with a huge belly-to-back suplex! The crowd cheers, and Jacob Idol flops over onto his face and stomach on the mat after the impact! Jacob Idol slowly pulls himself to his feet again, but Tim Bell grabs him in the side headlock again, then whips him down to the mat and clenches down on it even tighter!

Jacob Idol slowly starts to fight his way up out of the headlock, finally battling up to his feet. He lifts Tim Bell, preparing for a belly-to-back suplex, but Tim Bell slips out behind him, then grabs him in a waistlock... but Jacob Idol bends down, reaches between his own legs, and grabs one of Tim Bell's, then rolls forward, taking Tim Bell down and dumping him on his face! Jacob Idol quickly flows up, grabs Tim Bell's left arm, and slaps on an armbar with a triumphant smile, as Tim Bell cries out in pain! He struggles, thrashing around and looking for any means out he can find... he's reaching for the ropes with his right arm, and squirming a few inches at a time... and he makes it! Tim Bell made it to the ropes, and Jacob Idol has to release the armbar... but he takes the full four-count before he lets go.

Tim Bell gets up, and Jacob Idol kicks him in the midsection, then lifts him for a shoulderbreaker, but Tim Bell slides out behind him! Tim Bell shoves Jacob Idol forward, and Jacob Idol collides chest-first with the turnbuckles. Tim Bell hooks Jacob Idol as he staggers back, then brings him crashing to the mat with a big German suplex! He holds the bridge, and Bobcat McGavin counts... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... Kickout at two and a half by Jacob Idol! Tim Bell reapplies the waistlock and tries for a second suplex as they get up, but this time Jacob Idol swings back and catches him with an elbowsmash! Tim Bell releases the waistlock, and Jacob Idol slips him into a headlock, then takes a running start and bulldogs him to the canvas, and flows into an armbar on the left side from there!

Tim Bell's trapped in a bad position in the middle of the ring now, and he's going to have to struggle to get out of there! He begins crawling to the ropes, making progress, but Jacob Idol keeps leaning back on the armbar, holding it tightly and trying to injure Tim Bell. He wants to rip that arm right out of the socket... but Tim Bell's nearly to the ropes now! He struggles, makes a few more quick, desperate lunges, then reaches out and grabs the bottom rope! Jacob Idol must release the hold! But he's lax about that, letting up just before Bobcat McGavin counts to five, and Bobcat McGavin starts sternly warning him. Tim Bell gets up... but with Bobcat McGavin distracted, Jasmina Chastity jumps up on the apron, grabs Tim Bell by the hair, and pulls him down throat-first into the top rope!

Tim Bell starts to get up, and he's mad now. Jacob Idol grabs him by the hair... but Tim Bell catches him with an out-of-character low blow! Jacob Idol doubles over, and Tim Bell rolls out of the ring, then starts running after Jasmina! Jasmina Chastity screams and runs, and Tim Bell takes off after her, chasing her around the ring and halfway up the ramp! He catches her on top of the ramp, and the crowd cheers as he drags her to the ring by the arm, then rolls her inside and climbs in after her! Jasmina Chastity backs off, begging for mercy, but Tim Bell draws back and nails her with a stiff chop to her silicon-padded chest, dropping her to the mat and drawing a huge roar of cheers from the crowd! He turns around... just in time to get a poke to the eyes from Jacob Idol, then a jawbreaker that brings him down!

Jasmina Chastity rolls out of the ring, clutching her chest, and Jacob Idol holds Tim Bell on the mat, then drops a knee into his left shoulder again, causing him to cry out in pain. Jacob Idol crouches over Tim Bell and clobbers him with a series of punches, drawing objections from Bobcat McGavin, then pulls him up and hooks his arms, then brings him down with a double underhook suplex! Tim Bell crashes hard to the canvas, and Jacob Idol stomps at his left shoulder a few times, then pulls him up again and lifts... and this time, he brings him down with a shoulderbreaker!! Tim Bell clutches his shoulder, gritting his teeth in pain, and Jacob Idol goes down to put on an armbar, but Tim Bell squirms free of it, then rolls Jacob Idol up in a crucifix-like cradle! Bobcat McGavin counts... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... Kickout at two and a half by Jacob Idol!

Jacob Idol gets up, then hammers Tim Bell with a right hand to the face, scoops him up, and slams him to the canvas. He grabs his arm and goes for a cross armbreaker, but Tim Bell kips up before he can apply it, then wraps around behind Jacob Idol and lifts... belly-to-back suplex!! He just dropped Jacob Idol with that move, and now both men are down! Bobcat McGavin begins a count, and both men begin getting up at five. Jacob Idol rushes Tim Bell with a clothesline, but Tim Bell ducks, then knocks Jacob Idol off his feet with a savate kick! The crowd erupts into cheers, and Tim Bell hops to the second turnbuckle, then comes off with a second-rope kneedrop! It connects, and Tim Bell covers Jacob Idol. Bobcat McGavin counts... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... Jacob Idol gets a shoulder up at two and a half!

Tim Bell's up first this time, and despite his wounded arm, it seems like he's ready to do some damage. Jacob Idol gets up, and Tim Bell puts on a standing headscissors, perhaps for a piledriver or power bomb... but Jacob Idol backdrops out of it! Tim Bell counters the backdrop with a sunset flip, bringing Jacob Idol down, and Bobcat McGavin counts... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... Jacob Idol rolls backwards, then grabs Tim Bell's legs and flips forward into a jackknife pinning hold for another count... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... Tim Bell reaches back and knocks out the bridge on one of Jacob Idol's legs, then rolls over in it and gets to his feet, holding Jacob Idol in place to once again put him in a standing headscissors! He lifts this time... PILEDRIVER!! He spiked Jacob Idol into the canvas! He covers and hooks a leg, and Bobcat McGavin counts... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... THRE... NO! Jacob Idol throws a shoulder up at the last possible second!

Tim Bell grabs Jacob Idol and lifts him with effort, placing him on the top turnbuckle... he's going to go for the Top-Rope Frankensteiner! He climbs up with Jacob Idol, but Jacob Idol punches him in the ribs before he can execute the move, then gives him a low blow! Tim Bell doubles over and wobbles on the top turnbuckle, but Jacob Idol keeps him from going over by grabbing him. Jacob Idol straightens up and puts a front chancery on Tim Bell... then drives him down into the ring with a front-layout superplex!! Tim Bell crashes fast-first into the mat, then lies face down on top of it! Jacob Idol steadies himself on top, then leaps off... and drives the point of his elbow into Tim Bell's left shoulder with an elbowdrop!! Tim Bell thrashes about in pain, clutching his shoulder, and Jacob Idol grabs his arm, then applies an armbar! He leans back on it, and Tim Bell struggles wildly... but he taps out!! Jacob Idol wins this match!!

Jacob Idol made Tim Bell submit to an armbar submission in 0:14:41.
Rating: *** 1/2

Jacob Idol is the winner here, but he's not going to let go... he's still pulling back on the armbar! He was serious in his intent to hurt Tim Bell, and he's going to make sure he gets the job done! The crowd boos, and the bell rings repeatedly as Bobcat McGavin tells Jacob Idol to release the hold and get up, but he's not going to... but wait!! Somebody's at the top of the ramp! It's Owen Addison!! The crowd cheers, and Jacob Idol looks up at him, with his eyes glazing over. Owen Addison motions for Jacob Idol to come on over and try that with him... and Jacob Idol releases the hold, then rolls out of the ring! Jasmina Chastity stops him, trying to say something to him, but Jacob Idol brushes her off and charges up the ramp, then begins trading punches with Owen Addison at the top of the ramp!

Neither man seems to be gaining the advantage, but then someone else slips out of the backstage entrance... ROB SOLOMON!! He's here, and he has the hockey stick... and he NAILS Owen in the back with it! Owen Addison goes down, and Jacob Idol and Rob Solomon surround him, stomping and kicking at him! Rob Solomon raises the hockey stick and begins clobbering him with it repeatedly... they've switched focus now, and apparently they're trying to wipe out Owen Addison instead of Tim Bell! They're just brutalizing him... but here comes Paul Canyon with a chair!! Rob Solomon and Jacob Idol quickly back off, stepping away from Paul Canyon as he approaches, then begin slinking away.

Paul Canyon goes down to check on Owen Addison... what's going on here? Will Owen Addison be in any kind of shape to compete? Tim Bell climbs out of the ring, cradling his left arm, and goes to Owen's side as well. Some trainers come out to help, and it looks like Owen's getting up. He makes it back to his feet, and Paul Canyon and Tim Bell help him backstage. This definitely puts him at a disadvantage when he faces Paul Canyon a little later tonight, but it looks like he's more or less okay.

We're going straight through to our next match, and now "War Machine" by KISS begins playing, bringing out Bass Rogers. He stands alone tonight against both Jack Norman and Butch Manson of Hell's Bikers. Originally, it was set to be a match for the VCW World Tag Team Titles, pitting Stiff Competition against Hell's Bikers for the titles, but now Dean Sanders is prevented from wrestling by doctor's orders, and Bass Rogers has too much pride and aggression to back out now. He'll be facing BOTH of the VCW World Tag Team Champions himself, without the titles on the line, and while he's a big, bad man, smart money says that there's no chance in hell of him walking out of here as the winner. Nevertheless, he shows no shortage of bravado and inner fury as he enters the ring, then bellows loudly to the crowd, which responds with a loud roar of cheers.

But now "Highway To Hell" by AC/DC begins playing, and that brings out the VCW World Tag Team Champions, Jack Norman and Butch Manson, to a big round of boos from the crowd. With teams like the Ontario Colour Show and Jacob Idol and Rob Solomon on the shelf, these two men have stepped up in a big way. Before, they weren't ranked among the top teams of VCW, but now people are starting to recognize that they may just be one of the biggest, baddest tag teams VCW has ever known. They're the champions right now, and for all that Bass Rogers is one tough son of a bitch, Jack Norman and Butch Manson seem to know, by the looks in their eyes, that they're going forth to slaughter him. The crowd boos as they come to the ring and climb inside... and Bass Rogers wastes no time in barrelling forward and tackling Jack Norman to the mat! Jerry Rogers enters the ring and calls for the bell, and this match is starting!

Handicap Match:

Bass Rogers

vs.

Hell's Bikers (Jack Norman & Butch Manson)

Bass Rogers crawls on top of Jack Norman and begins punching him in the face repeatedly, but Butch Manson gives him a knee straight to the head! Bass Rogers looks up and asks for another one, and Butch Manson obliges... but this time, Bass Rogers grabs his knee and takes him down to the mat by it, then begins clobbering him repeatedly instead! Jack Norman gets up and clubs Bass Rogers in the back with a double-axhandle blow, then starts pounding away on him, but Bass Rogers catches him with a back elbow, then starts firing back. Butch Manson goes to Jerry Rogers, and begins distracting him... and with that, Jack Norman kicks Bass Rogers in the groin, then grabs one of the VCW World Tag Team Titles... and nails him in the head with it!! Bass Rogers goes down hard, and the crowd explodes into boos as Jack Norman chucks the title belt aside!

Jack Norman and Butch Manson both hook Bass Rogers, then lift him up and bring him down in a double vertical suplex! He's down, and Jack Norman goes for the cover... no, he goes down and starts choking him! Bass Rogers struggles, and Jerry Rogers counts... but the chokehold is broken when Bass Rogers reaches up and punches Jack Norman in the face! Bass Rogers starts getting up, and Butch Manson lays into him with a series of big right hands, but he keeps getting to his feet! Jack Norman backs into the ropes and charges with a clothesline... but Bass Rogers ducks, and Jack Norman wipes out Butch Manson! Jack Norman turns around... and turns right into a big belly-to-belly suplex from Bass Rogers!! Bass Rogers pulls Butch Manson up, then bodyslams him down on top of Jack Norman. He runs into the ropes and comes off... and leaps onto both members of Hell's Bikers with a big splash!! He holds it for the cover, and Jerry Rogers counts... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... And Hell's Bikers force Bass Rogers off at two.

They're getting up again, and Bass Rogers backs into the ropes, then drops them with a double clothesline! He pulls Jack Norman up and whips him into a corner, then grabs Butch Manson and throws him into the opposite set of turnbuckles! He charges, nailing Jack Norman with an avalanche in the corner, and then turns around and runs into Butch Manson with an avalanche! He whips Butch Manson towards Jack Norman... but no, Butch Manson reverses it, and Bass Rogers is sent into Jack Norman... and Jack Norman gets a huge boot up to greet him! Bass Rogers gets kicked in the face hard, and goes down... and Jack Norman runs up and drops a big elbow on him!

Bass Rogers starts getting up, a little bit slowly, but Butch Manson's waiting on him, clobbering him from behind as he does. Jack Norman gives him several knees to the gut from the front as well, doubling him over, then grabs him by the hair and takes him head-first into one of the turnbuckles. Bass Rogers just bolts up, with an angry look on his face, then bangs his own head into the turnbuckle several times, turns around, and bellows loudly at Jack Norman! Jack Norman backs up, a little intimidated by Bass Rogers's showing of inner fury, and Bass Rogers runs forward, dropping him with a lariat! Butch Manson charges, but Bass Rogers kicks him in the midsection, then lifts him high above his head and tosses him to the mat with a Gorilla Press!!

Jack Norman starts to get up, but Bass Rogers kicks him in the midsection, then puts on a standing headscissors... he's going for a power bomb! He starts to lift... but Butch Manson clobbers him from behind! Butch Manson lifts Bass Rogers, helping Jack Norman to take him over with a big backdrop! Bass Rogers gets up again, but Butch Manson rushes him with a knee to the gut that doubles him over. Jack Norman comes over and puts him in a standing headscissors of his own now, then lifts... POWER BOMB!! Jack Norman just drilled Bass Rogers into the canvas with a power bomb of his own, and now he's going for the cover! Jerry Rogers counts... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... Kickout at two and a half!! Bass Rogers just doesn't want to stay down!

Jack Norman gets up, and now Butch Manson's going up to the top turnbuckle. Jack Norman picks Bass Rogers up to slam him... but Bass Rogers squirms and shifts his weight, and Jack Norman falls down underneath him! And now someone's coming out of the backstage entrance... DEAN SANDERS!! Dean Sanders runs out of the backstage entrance, with his elbow taped up, and grabs a chair from ringside! He slides the chair into the ring... and Bass Rogers sees it and grabs it! Butch Manson comes off the top turnbuckle with a flying axhandle... but Bass Rogers raises the chair and swats him out of the sky with it! That's an instant disqualification!

Handicap Match:
Hell's Bikers (Jack Norman and Butch Manson) defeated Bass Rogers when J. Norman beat B. Rogers via disqualification in 0:05:43.
Rating: 1/4*

Butch Manson just got laid out, and the crowd explodes into cheers as Bass Rogers bellows loudly! Jack Norman is up, and his eyes have just enough time to widen before Bass Rogers brings the chair down on his head, too! Butch Manson gets up, leaning on the ropes, and Bass Rogers whacks him hard in the head with the chair, sending him spilling over the top rope to the floor! Jack Norman gets up as well, and Bass Rogers charges him, drilling him with a huge chairshot to the head! Jack Norman rolls out of the ring, and as the camera views him on the outside, it appears that he was busted open from that chairshot!!

Jack Norman and Butch Manson have had enough... they're taking the VCW World Tag Team Title belts and retreating up the stage, as Bass Rogers roars loudly, swinging the chair around like a crazed barbarian. He didn't win this match, but he just sent the VCW World Tag Team Champions running, with a little help from Dean Sanders and a steel chair. As his fury seems to wear out, Bass Rogers tosses the chair aside, then begins heading backstage with Dean Sanders. He didn't win the match, but he sure gave Hell's Bikers a beating they'll never forget.

We're going to go to another match now... this one will decide the futures of the Ontario Colour Show. The Beatles' "Magical Mystery Tour" begins playing, and the crowd cheers as Paul Canyon comes out of the backstage entrance. Of the two men in the OCS, he's perhaps the more mobile. He's also been seen to have a good-natured--if somewhat naive--quality to his personality that Owen Addison lacks. He's half of arguably the greatest tag team in VCW history, but was he the weak half? Was he holding Owen Addison back? He certainly doesn't want it to seem that way tonight. He steps into the ring, looking determined and focused, as the crowd continues to cheer.

And now "Until It Sleeps" by Metallica begins playing, and that brings out Owen Addison, to a louder reaction from the crowd, but a somewhat mixed one, as a few boos work their way in. We know he was attacked earlier on by the Hammer of the Gods, and he still looks a little haggard. Nevertheless, his eyes have an angry gleam to them as he walks to the ring and climbs inside. A camera catches him saying "You asked for this..." to Paul Canyon, as he rolls his shoulders and loosens up. On paper, he may be the stronger half of the team, with main-event experience and a more lethal, aggressive mentality. But is he really a superior wrestler to Paul Canyon? And given his condition after being attacked earlier, is he capable of winning even if he is superior? He seems to think so, and Brendan Powers enters the ring and calls for the bell to begin the match!

Paul Canyon

vs.

Owen Addison

They advance to the center of the ring, and Paul Canyon offers his hand. Owen Addison takes it... and we get a clean handshake. Now they lock up, and Owen Addison goes into a rear wristlock at the beginning, but Paul Canyon twists around out of the wristlock, into a waistlock on Owen Addison! He lifts, but Owen Addison stops that with an elbowsmash, then tucks his feet under Paul Canyon's arms and dives forward into a rolling forward cradle! Owen hooks his legs and holds him down, and Brendan Powers counts... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... Paul Canyon gets a leg free and puts it on the bottom rope at two!

Both men get up, and it seems like they were just feeling each other out there. Paul Canyon nods to Owen Addison, then steps in for another lockup. Paul Canyon grabs a side headlock and tries to whip Owen Addison to the mat, but Owen keeps his balance, stands his ground, and lifts for a belly-to-back suplex... but Paul Canyon flips out behind him, then grabs his legs and brings him down with a double leg takedown and flows forward on him to put on the headlock again! Owen Addison grabs Paul Canyon and rolls him onto his back, and Brendan Powers counts... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... Paul Canyon turns it back over at two! But as Paul Canyon gets out of the pin, his grip on the headlock shifts, and Owen Addison grabs his arm and twists! Paul Canyon kips up and begins trying to turn out of the armwringer, but Owen Addison sweeps his legs, bringing Paul Canyon down, then quickly clamps on a cross armbreaker!! Paul Canyon thrashes wildly and makes it to the ropes with relatively little difficulty, but Owen Addison came out ahead that time too.

Once again, they get to their feet and exchange a glance, then lock up. Paul Canyon whips Owen Addison to the ropes... no, Owen Addison reverses it! Paul Canyon leaps to the second rope and springs off with a springboard spinning leg lariat, but Owen Addison ducks, and Paul Canyon wipes out on the mat! Paul Canyon gets back up, doubled over, and Owen Addison goes for a Rocker Dropper, but Paul Canyon backdrops out of it! Owen Addison flips over and lands on his feet, though, and Paul Canyon lashes out at him with a savate kick, but Owen ducks the kick and slips behind, then brings Paul Canyon down with a big belly-to-back suplex! Paul Canyon's down, and it looks like Owen Addison may just be the better wrestler after all!

Paul Canyon's getting up, and he looks a little more desperate now, after taking his first big hit. They lock up again... and Paul Canyon nails Owen with an eye gouge! The crowd is stunned... we've never seen him do anything like that! That stunned Owen Addison, too, and Paul Canyon hauls him up, then gives him a snap suplex in the middle of the ring! Owen's down, and Paul Canyon gets up... and drops a knee right down on his head! He's starting to get vicious and maybe even a little underhanded... what's in his head? Is it just desperation to try to keep the Ontario Colour Show together? Paul Canyon pulls Owen Addison up, not giving him a moment to absorb the effects of the kneedrop, then takes him head-first into a turnbuckle! Owen slumps in the corner, and Paul Canyon nails him with a series of punches and chops, then goes to the opposite corner and runs forward to blast him with a big dropkick to the face! Owen Addison rocks back in the corner, teeters on the turnbuckles, then falls out to the apron, then to the floor! He's down at ringside!

With Owen Addison down, Paul Canyon goes up to the top turnbuckle. Owen's getting up, and Paul Canyon leaps off... FLYING CLOTHESLINE TO THE FLOOR!! Owen goes down hard, and Paul Canyon's down as well! But Canyon's getting up first. He pulls Owen Addison up by the hair, then takes him head-first into the steel ringsteps! Now the crowd's starting to boo a little bit. If he's just trying to keep the team together, this is a pretty strange way to do it, but maybe he's just that desperate! He pulls Owen Addison up near the ramp, then hooks him... he's going for a vertical suplex on the ramp! But Owen Addison blocks, then counters with a suplex of his own, bringing Paul Canyon down on the mats at ringside!

Owen Addison begins getting up again, and he seems angry as he looks down at his partner. The camera catches him saying "So that's how you want it!?" as Paul Canyon gets up... and he rushes forward and clips his knee! Paul Canyon goes down, and Addison grabs his right leg, then drops an elbow into it! Paul Canyon yells out in pain, and Owen Addison gets up, then drops a second elbow across the right knee! He's reacting to his partner's desperation by getting vicious himself, and it sure doesn't look like he's in any mood to put the team back together now. He rolls Paul Canyon into the ring... then pulls him out crotch-first into the ringpost! The crowd boos a little bit for that as well, but Owen Addison gives them a dirty look, then grabs Paul Canyon's right leg and smashes it into the ringpost! Paul Canyon yells out in pain, and Owen Addison draws back and does it again! On an intellectual level, this is probably smart, to take away some of Paul Canyon's mobility and high-flying offense... but on the other hand, these two men are friends and teammates, if not tag team partners, and they could end up hurting each other!

Paul Canyon pulls himself away from the ringpost as Owen Addison climbs up on the apron, then starts climbing to the top turnbuckle. Paul Canyon gets up... and Owen Addison leaps off of the top turnbuckle with a flying spinning leg lariat! He caught Paul Canyon right in the chest with that, and Paul Canyon goes down hard! Owen Addison covers him and hooks a leg, and Brendan Powers counts... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... Kickout at two and a half by Paul Canyon! Owen Addison gets up, undaunted, and grabs Paul Canyon's right leg, then turns him over into a half crab! Paul Canyon cries out in pain, and quickly begins scrambling to the ropes, but Owen Addison leans back on it, causing more pain! Paul Canyon struggles, trying to crawl to the ropes... and he makes it, but not until after spending several seconds in that hold.

Paul Canyon gets up, and Owen Addison applies a waistlock as he does, but Paul Canyon counters that with an elbowsmash! Owen Addison releases the hold and staggers back, clutching his nose... and then Paul Canyon grabs him by the hair, draws back, and headbutts him in the face! Owen Addison goes down, and Paul Canyon winces momentarily with the effort of stepping into that headbutt, but pulls Owen up by the hair again... then draws back and elbows him right in the face!! Owen Addison staggers back, with a trail of blood coming out of his nose, and Paul Canyon steps back, then rushes forward with a savate kick, but his leg doesn't make it up all the way, and Owen Addison grabs his foot, then whips him down into a kneebar! The crowd cheers loudly... even bloodied and dazed, Owen just pulled off one hell of a counter there!

Paul Canyon is caught in the kneebar, and once again is forced to struggle to the ropes in a great deal of pain. Owen Addison holds the move tightly, with a grim smile on his bloody face... he seems to be enjoying giving this rough treatment back to Paul Canyon. Paul Canyon tries to squirm away, dragging himself to the ropes as fast as he can... and after a struggle, he makes it again. Paul Canyon has a lot of energy left, but the condition of his right leg is steadily getting a little bit worse. Owen Addison is forced to release the hold... but now he takes an extra three or four seconds before releasing it!

Once again, Paul Canyon begins getting back up, and this time Owen tries to put on a front facelock... but Paul Canyon immediately nails him with a low blow!! The crowd boos loudly for that move... both men are clearly resorting to less than honorable tactics. Is Paul Canyon simply driven by desperation to reunite the team, or is there something else? Owen Addison doubles over, and Paul Canyon brings him down with a Rocker Dropper, driving his bloody face into the mat! The crowd boos, and Paul Canyon pulls Owen Addison up from behind into a waistlock... release German suplex!! Owen Addison crashes to the mat, and Paul Canyon immediately goes for the cover! Brendan Powers counts... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... THR... Kickout at two and three-quarters!! That was a near fall! Owen Addison seems a little weaker than he should be, and it appears that the effects of the beating he took earlier are catching up to him.

Paul Canyon clobbers Owen Addison with a few closed fists, then pulls him up into a standing headscissors and lifts... PILEDRIVER!! That could very well end the match, right there. Paul Canyon knows it, and he quickly covers and hooks the leg... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... THR... Kickout at two and nine-tenths!! That couldn't have been any closer!! Paul Canyon grimaces, then hooks the pin and holds it again, as Brendan Powers counts again... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... THR... Kickout at two and three-quarters, this time! Paul Canyon looks at Brendan Powers with dismay and sighs... he was hoping to finish it with that move.

But now he's going up to the top turnbuckle... but he's not going very fast, due to his weakened leg. He seems to realize his error as he goes up, but too late, because Owen Addison's up too, and he cuts Paul Canyon off at the top with a blow to the right knee, causing him to fall on the turnbuckle! Owen Addison climbs up with him, then hooks him in a front chancery... SUPERPLEX!! Both men are down in the ring, and that may have made a huge difference... but Owen's still down as well! After the beating he took, the landing from the superplex may have compounded on his physical state! They're both getting up, and Paul Canyon takes a swing at Owen Addison, but Owen slips around behind him, hooking his arm... DRAGON SUPLEX!! He holds the bridge, and Brendan Powers counts... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... THR... Paul Canyon kicks out at two and three-quarters!!

Owen Addison gets up, and runs into the ropes as Paul Canyon starts to stand, taking him down with a swinging neckbreaker! Paul Canyon goes down, and Owen Addison pulls him up, only to bring him down again with a Russian legsweep! He grabs his legs as he gets up, then hooks them and steps through for a scorpion deathlock attempt, but Paul Canyon small packages him! Brendan Powers goes down and counts... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... Kickout at two and a half by Owen Addison! They get up, and Paul Canyon lashes out with a kick, but Owen Addison catches his slow right foot coming up! Paul Canyon leaps up with the left for an enzuigiri, but Owen Addison ducks, and Paul Canyon wipes out on the mat... and Owen Addison drops a knee across the back of his leg, drawing a loud scream of pain from him!!

Owen Addison pulls Paul Canyon up and goes for a kneebreaker, but Paul Canyon reaches over and cuts him off with an eye gouge!! He puts Owen Addison in a headlock, then starts to limp forward for a bulldog, but Owen Addison shoves him away, chest-first into the turnbuckles! Paul Canyon staggers back... and Owen Addison scoops him up from behind with a rear gutwrench, into position for the Tombstone!! But Paul Canyon counters it with a spinning headscissors!! That brings Owen Addison down, and Paul Canyon gets up as he pulls himself to his feet... then hooks Owen and brings him down again with a snap suplex!

Paul Canyon may just have this match won. He goes up to the top turnbuckle, slowly, but Owen Addison's staying down this time. He dives off... MAGIC CARPET RIDE!! But Owen Addison rolls out of the way!! Paul Canyon wipes out, and it looks like he took a lot of that landing on his knees! He curls up on the mat in pain, and Owen Addison starts to pull himself up! Paul Canyon gets up and launches a desperation clothesline, but Owen ducks under it, and Paul Canyon hits Brendan Powers! Owen hooks him from behind... BACKDROP DRIVER!! He just dropped Paul Canyon right on his head, and this very well could be all, as he makes the cover... but Brendan Powers isn't up to make the call! Owen looks down at his partner, then touches the blood on his face and looks down at him again, this time with a steely glare... and now he's grabbing his legs... FIGURE-FOUR LEGLOCK!! There's no referee to ask for a submission, and Paul Canyon might not even be conscious to submut, but Owen Addison just put Paul Canyon in a figure-four leglock!!

Wait just a second... some people are coming out of the backstage entrance. It's Jacob Idol and Rob Solomon! They make their way down to the ring, and Jacob Idol quickly reaches inside and gouges the eyes of Owen Addison! He releases the figure-four leglock, and Jacob Idol grabs him by the hair and pulls him out of the ring! Owen Addison takes a swing at Jacob Idol and connects, but Rob Solomon clobbers him from behind, and soon they're attacking him two-on-one, yet again! They pull him out to the ramp, and Jacob Idol hooks him... INVERTED DDT ON THE STEEL RAMP!! Owen has to be out!! And now Jacob Idol grabs Owen Addison and rolls him into the ring, as Brendan Powers starts to stir!

Paul Canyon gets up with Brendan Powers, favoring his right leg severely and shaking some cobwebs from his head. Is this what it looks like!? The Hammer of the Gods mentioned having a surprise, Paul Canyon used some underhanded tactics against his partner, and now they've set him up with the easy victory... has Paul Canyon joined the Hammer of the Gods!? He steps out to the apron upon seeing Owen Addison down, and he's going up to the top turnbuckle!! Jacob Idol and Rob Solomon stand nearby, cheering him on and calling for him to finish Owen Addison off! Paul Canyon could probably go for the cover and get the win anyway, but if he hits this Magic Carpet Ride, there's no question... he'll win this match! He looks down at his fallen partner... but then turns sharply, noticing Jacob Idol and Rob Solomon on the outside! His face twists in confusion and disgust, as he looks into the ring at his partner, then to the outside at Jacob Idol and Rob Solomon... it seems like he just figured out what happened! And he leaps... TO THE OUTSIDE!! Paul Canyon just jumped from the top turnbuckle onto both Jacob Idol and Rob Solomon on the outside with a flying cross bodypress, and the crowd erupts into cheers!!

Brendan Powers seems to think something's up too, and he's checking over Owen Addison... but as he does, Paul Canyon crouches over Jacob Idol and starts raining down punches on him! But now Rob Solomon's back up, and with his hurt knee Paul Canyon is slow to rise and meet him... LARIAT!! Rob Solomon just cut down Paul Canyon with a lariat!! Jacob Idol gets up, then grabs him by the hair and pulls him back... INVERTED DDT!! He just dropped Paul Canyon on the outside of the ring! Owen Addison's starting to stir on the inside, and Jacob Idol and Rob Solomon begin hurrying into the ring. Brendan Powers turns around, and Paul Canyon's down and out on the outside! Brendan Powers starts counting... and Owen Addison's getting up, slowly, but it doesn't look like Paul Canyon is!! Brendan Powers continues to count, and finally reaches twenty, then calls for the bell. Owen Addison has won by count-out...

Owen Addison defeated Paul Canyon by count-out in 0:18:59.

The crowd doesn't seem to know how to react. Paul Canyon is unconscious on the floor, and in the ring, Owen Addison isn't faring much better. We found out that Paul Canyon wasn't allied with the Hammer of the Gods, but that's about the only positive outcome tonight for the Technicians. The Hammer of the Gods has taken advantage of their opportunity well, and the Technicians have been laid to waste.

We'll see more from the Hammer of the Gods momentarily, as Julian Page faces off against Johnny Smiles. But in the meantime, take a little break.
