We're back, and ready to kick off Part Two of Deck the Halls 2000 with another round of high-impact wrestling action. The next match is another chapter in the long-standing rivalry between Hell's Bikers and the Wrecking Crew. Ever since the return of Blade, their hatred for one another has only grown stronger and stronger. Tonight, the Wrecking Crew and Robert Danson will meet three of the members of Hell's Bikers, in an attempt to come one step closer to proving just who the toughest tag team in VCW really is.
"Highway To Hell" by AC/DC begins playing first, bringing out Jack Norman, Butch Manson, and Dick Douglas. Ever since defeating the Wrecking Crew in the Barbed Wire Match at the first-ever VCW pay-per-view, Wrestlewar, Jack Norman and Butch Manson have laid claim to being the toughest tag team in VCW, and not without cause. After Crimson's recent dominance of the Wrecking Crew when they've met, Hell's Bikers would love to prove tonight that Crimson isn't the only one who can go on the warpath and take care of business in short order. They enter the ring, and all three men look ready for a fight.
Now "Domination" by Pantera begins playing, and here come three men who are DEFINITELY ready for a fight, accompanied by Nicole. Blade, John Uldwall, and Robert Danson have generally ended up flat on their backs during their recent encounters with Hell's Bikers, in no small part thanks to Crimson. Tonight, you know they'd like to prove that Hell's Bikers, without Crimson, aren't a match for them. And Blade would love to hand out a massive beating to Hell's Bikers and avenge his injury at their hands several months ago as well. They're charging the ring and sliding in, and now all six men begin brawling!! Referee Bobcat McGavin is trying to restore order and make this an official match, but nobody's paying attention to him!
Robert Danson just knocked Dick Douglas out of the ring with a massive dropkick, and now he's going out after him... he grabs a chair, and nails him right across the back with it! And John Uldwall is pummelling Jack Norman in the corner, as Blade whips Butch Manson into the ropes, then comes off to nail him with a clothesline, sending him down! Now John Uldwall whips Jack Norman to the opposite turnbuckle, and Blade's backing up... Blade follows him in with a jumping avalanche! Now he whips Jack Norman back towards John Uldwall... who nails him with a football tackle! Blade throws Butch Manson out of the ring, then goes out after him, and it's just John Uldwall and Jack Norman in the ring. Bobcat McGavin is finally calling for the bell, and we've got a match!
Wrecking Crew &
Robert Danson
w/Nicole
vs.
Hell's Bikers (Jack Norman, Butch Manson, & Dick Douglas)
John Uldwall crawls on top of Jack Norman, and begins pummelling him with a series of punches, as Bobcat McGavin protests uselessly. Now he's picking Jack Norman up... he lifts him, and brings him down across a knee in a backbreaker. Jack Norman begins to pull himself to his feet, but John Uldwall's just having his way with him, drilling him in the face and head with massive punches. Blade climbs up on the apron, and John Uldwall's tagging him in now... Blade enters the ring, and begins hammering Jack Norman! Now he whips him into the ropes, and runs off the other side... and takes Jack Norman down with a high cross body! He doesn't hold the cover, though... Blade gets right back up and pulls Jack Norman to his feet. He whips Jack Norman into the ropes... but no, Jack Norman reverses it, then nails him with a vicious boot to the face as he comes off the ropes!!
Jack Norman stops, trying to shake off the effects of the offense from the recent onslaught by the Wrecking Crew. But he interrupts his rest as he sees Blade getting up, then goes over to stomp away at him, then nail him with forearm smashes and punches as he gets up. Blade gets to his feet, but Jack Norman whips him into the turnbuckle, then unloads on him with a series of nasty elbowsmashes. Blade slumps in the corner, and Jack Norman puts a boot in his throat and begins choking him, but breaks the choke when Bobcat McGavin gets to the count of four.
The brawl on the outside has been broken up by now, and all of the team members have returned to their respective corners. Jack Norman tags in Dick Douglas, then gives Blade a massive backbreaker, stepping aside as Dick Douglas comes off the top turnbuckle with a flying bodypress! But rather than hooking the leg and going for the pin, Dick Douglas straddles Blade and begins hammering him with a series of hard right hands. These men all know each other physically by now, and they know better than to go for a pin before their opponent is beaten so badly that they can't roll a shoulder up.
Dick Douglas gets up and rolls Blade over, and now he's sitting down on his back in a camel clutch. Blade is in pain, and Bobcat McGavin is asking him if he wants to submit... he really IS new here! Blade won't submit until he's half-dead, and even now, he's fighting, trying to get to his feet... Dick Douglas is holding on, cinching in the hold even tighter, but Blade's getting to his feet! He's up, and he has Dick Douglas clinging to his back... and he throws himself backwards into his corner, and tags in Robert Danson!
Blade leaves the ring, and Dick Douglas staggers out of the corner... Robert Danson grabs him in a headlock, and takes him down with a bulldog! Dick Douglas gets up as Robert Danson bounces off the ropes, but practically as soon as he gets to his feet Robert Danson comes off the ropes to run him over with a clothesline. Dick Douglas goes down, and Robert Danson drops an elbow on him, then picks him up by the hair again. Dick Douglas gets whipped into the ropes, and Robert Danson catches him as he comes off with a backdrop! Dick Douglas lands on his back and gets up, favoring his hip, then turns around, right into a savate kick from Robert Danson! Dick Douglas is down, and Robert Danson takes this moment to pose for the crowd, getting a loud burst of cheers but a look of mild disdain from the Wrecking Crew.
Robert Danson picks Dick Douglas up across his shoulders, and tags in Blade again. Robert Danson drops Dick Douglas with a Samoan Drop, and now Blade comes off the top turnbuckle with a flying elbowdrop as Robert moves out of the way! Blade buries an elbow in Dick Douglas's chest, and now he's hooking the leg! Four minutes in, and we finally get the first pin attempt of the match! Bobcat McGavin makes the count... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... Save at two and a half by Butch Manson!
Dick Douglas is still hurting after that elbowdrop off the top... Blade pulls him up, and takes him down with a Russian legsweeep, then bounces off the ropes, and drives a kneedrop right into his face. Once again, he hooks the leg and goes for the cover, and Bobcat McGavin counts... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... THR... Dick Douglas barely kicks out at two and three-quarters! Now Blade's grabbing him in a front facelock... it could be a DDT... but Dick Douglas just nailed him with a low blow before he had a chance! Blade doubles over, and Dick Douglas hits a DDT of his own!
Both men stay down, and Bobcat McGavin starts putting a count on them. Dick Douglas finally begins to stir at the count of six and gets up uneasily, then makes a tag to Butch Manson, as Blade also struggles to his feet. Butch Manson ends Blade's attempt to get up with a massive forearm smash to the back, then hauls him up anyway and whips him into the ropes. Blade comes off the ropes... and Butch Manson nails him with a big spinebuster!! Blade's convulsing on the mat, and now Butch Manson goes up to the top turnbuckle, and executes a moonsault! You don't see that every day from Butch Manson! It connects, and he hooks the leg! Bobcat McGavin goes down to count... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... Kickout at two and a half by Blade.
Butch Manson's a little bit ticked off about that kickout. He pulls Blade up and tosses him into a corner, then begins laying in kneelifts to the gut. Blade staggers out, and Butch Manson takes him down with a hiptoss, then drops a leg across his throat. But instead of going for the cover, he puts a hand on his throat and starts choking him. Bobcat McGavin counts, and Butch Manson tries his patience by holding the chokehold until the count of five, causing him to sputter a little bit, threatening a disqualification, then start over. This time, Butch Manson releases the hold at four. But now he sets up Blade on the turnbuckle, and tags in Dick Douglas... Dick Douglas mounts the turnbuckle to the side, as Butch Manson climbs up... and takes Blade down with a superplex! And now Dick Douglas comes off the top of the other turnbuckle with a flying bodypress! This time he hooks the leg, and Bobcat McGavin makes the count... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... Save at two and a half by Robert Danson!
Bobcat McGavin begins lecturing Robert Danson about his interference, but as he does all three members of Hell's Bikers grab Blade and begin triple-teaming him in their corner, choking him and punching, kicking, and stomping away. Dick Douglas gives Blade a blatant kick to the groin just before Bobcat McGavin turns around... Blade staggers out of the corner, doubled over, as Dick Douglas runs into the ropes... Blade looks up, just as Dick Douglas jumps and wraps his legs around his head... HARLEYCANRANA!! But no, Blade's still standing, and he muscles him up... he counters into a massive power bomb!! Blade just folded Dick Douglas up like an envelope, and now both men are down!
Bobcat McGavin begins counting again, as both men stay down on the mat... Dick Douglas heads for his corner, but so does Blade. Dick Douglas just tagged in big Jack Norman... and Blade makes the tag to John Uldwall!! The two monsters of each team started this match off against each other, and now they're back in again, both flailing away at each other with big punches! But John Uldwall won't be denied... he's shrugging off Jack Norman's offense, and now he whips him into the ropes, and bounces off the other side... and runs right over him with a clothesline! Jack Norman gets up, and staggers forward... right into a big belly-to-belly suplex! Butch Manson runs in, and he gets caught in a belly-to-belly suplex too! Dick Douglas runs after him, and John Uldwall gives him a belly-to-belly suplex as well! Now Jack Norman's back up, and he turns to John Uldwall... just in time to get caught in a uranage!! John Uldwall is taking care of all three members of Hell's Bikers at once!
Robert Danson and Blade enter the ring to help him fend off Butch Manson and Dick Douglas, as John Uldwall picks Jack Norman up. He drills him with a shoulderbreaker, then hauls him up by the hair again... now he whips him into the ropes, and bounces off the other side... and tackles him out of his boots!! Jack Norman just went down to a heavy-impact football tackle, and Robert Danson throws Butch Manson out of the ring, then goes after him... and meanwhile, Blade tosses Dick Douglas to the outside floor as well! Now Blade and John Uldwall are working together... they're both picking up Jack Norman... and they hit him with a double power bomb!!
Blade goes up top... John Uldwall crouches in the opposite corner... and Jack Norman gets to his feet, a little groggy... BREAKDOWN!! No, Jack Norman moves, and the Wrecking Crew collides in the center of the ring! Jack Norman knew what was coming! Blade gets up, and Jack Norman wraps a hand around his throat... CHOKESLAM!! Jack Norman just drilled Blade, and now he's going for the cover... but John Uldwall's the legal man! Bobcat McGavin begins telling him so, as John Uldwall climbs to the top turnbuckle behind them... Jack Norman gets up, frustrated, and looks around for John Uldwall... and turns around, right into the Flying Shoulder Tackle!! John Uldwall collides with Jack Norman's massive chest like he was shot out of a cannon, sending him crashing to the mat, and he covers him and hooks the leg! Bobcat McGavin's counting... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... THREE!!

Jack Norman is laid out, and the Wrecking Crew and Robert Danson have just won this match! They're headed backstage with Nicole, and Jack Norman gets up groggily with the help of his two teammates, looking rather unhappy about the outcome of tonight's match. It's a good bet that somewhere, sometime down the road these two teams will meet again, but for the moment, the Wrecking Crew has emerged triumphant as the more dominant force. Indeed, it seems like Hell's Bikers are already discussing revenge as they leave for the backstage area.
Now "Kiss My Ass" by Ted Nugent is playing, and here comes "The Barcelona Assassin" Lorenzo Vasquez, along with Rebecca Black, to challenge for the VCW Television Title, currently held by Jiro Tobikuma. Lorenzo Vasquez has seen a couple of big victories during his short stay in VCW so far, including one over VCW World Champion Troy Black that was admittedly tainted in nature. But tonight, he needs to pull one out against a great technical wrestler, Jiro Tobikuma. And now Rebecca Black has the microphone.
R. Black: Okay, Jiro... you've had an impressive six months, but it's over now. We're deporting your ass back to SJPW. So come on out and get ready to do the time-honored tradition, because you're not taking the VCW Television Title back to Japan. They'd probably just unify it into some kind of Super Champions Crown or some shit like that anyway. So get the fuck out here, because you've got a JOB to do, if you get what I'm saying.
"Thunder Kiss '65" by White Zombie kicks on over the sound system, and Jiro Tobikuma begins heading to the ring, wearing the VCW Television Title. Contrary to Rebecca Black's insinuations, you have to believe that he won't just lay down and give up the title for Lorenzo Vasquez. If Lorenzo wants the VCW Television Title, he'll have to get it by outwrestling Jiro Tobikuma to the point where he can pin him or make him submit. Jiro Tobikuma takes off the title belt and hands it to the timekeeper, then extends his hand to Lorenzo Vasquez for a handshake. Lorenzo starts to raise his hand like he might be about to accept, but just gives him the finger instead. James Applebee is in the ring as your VCW official for this match, and it's beginning now!
For the VCW Television Title:
"The Barcelona
Assassin" Lorenzo Vasquez
w/Rebecca Black
vs.
Jiro Tobikuma
A lockup starts this match off, and Lorenzo Vasquez immediately grabs his arm and twists. Jiro Tobikuma winces in pain and twists out of the hold, then grabs Lorenzo's arm and whips him into the ropes. Lorenzo Vasquez comes off the ropes into a dropkick, he goes down, then gets right back up. Jiro Tobikuma hits a swift kick to the midsection, then hooks his arms, and takes him over in a double underhook suplex. Lorenzo Vasquez gets up again, getting frustrated, and charges in with a wild clothesline... only to have Jiro Tobikuma calmly catch the arm and bring him down in an armbar takedown, into an armbar submission!! Jiro Tobikuma has applied Lorenzo Vasquez's own finisher to him, and James Applebee goes down to ask him! Lorenzo's face is showing obvious pain, and he's struggling... trying to pull himself towards the ropes, wanting nothing less than to suffer the indignity of tapping out to his own finisher in under a minute... but he finally makes the ropes.
Lorenzo Vasquez gets up, rubbing his arm and looking at Jiro Tobikuma with a pissed-off look on his face... and now he's cautiously moving in again. They lock up again, but this time, Lorenzo Vasquez gouges the eyes, then pushes Jiro Tobikuma into the corner and begins pummelling him. But Jiro Tobikuma steps out of the corner and throws Lorenzo Vasquez in, then begins unloading on his chest with a series of stiff chops, each one drawing a "WHOOO!" from the crowd. Rebecca Black screams at Jiro Tobikuma from outside of the ring, telling him to stop it, like that's going to work. After a few chops, Jiro Tobikuma brings Lorenzo Vasquez out of the corner with a vertical suplex, then drops a leg across his throat and goes for the cover. James Applebee goes down to count... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... Kickout at two by Lorenzo Vasquez, who's not done yet by a long shot.
Jiro Tobikuma picks Lorenzo Vasquez up again, and whips him into the ropes, then runs into the other side. He goes for a high cross body as Lorenzo starts to come off the ropes on the other side, but Rebecca Black trips Lorenzo Vasquez, causing Jiro Tobikuma to launch himself over the top rope, shades of the Big Boss Man in the '92 Royal Rumble! Lorenzo Vasquez distracts James Applebee, as Jiro Tobikuma pulls himself up outside of the ring. Rebecca Black's stalking forward... and she gives Jiro Tobikuma a swift kick to the groin on the outside! Now she has him by the hair, and she rams him head-first into the ringpost! The crowd boos, but Rebecca Black makes sure to keep her distance as James Applebee turns back around.
Lorenzo Vasquez climbs out of the ring after him, and comes over to Jiro as he's getting up, laying in a few swift stomps and kicks. Jiro Tobikuma gets up, and Lorenzo Vasquez begins pummelling him with punches and chops, driving him towards the steel entrance ramp. At the base of the ramp, Lorenzo Vasquez gives him a swift kick to the midsection, then hooks an arm, and hits a single-arm DDT on the steel ramp! Jiro Tobikuma is in a bad way after taking that move, and Lorenzo Vasquez stops for a moment to bask in the glory of that move before realizing that James Applebee's count is entering the high single digits.
Vasquez grabs Jiro Tobikuma and rolls him back into the ring, but instead of going for the pin, he's applying a short-arm scissors. But in his haste, he neglected to drag Jiro Tobikuma away from the ropes, and after a few seconds of struggling, Jiro Tobikuma is able to make the ropes. Lorenzo's inexperience may have cost him there, but now he's getting up, stomping away at Jiro Tobikuma's right arm and shoulder. Obviously, he'd love to set up the Barcelona Armbar, and after seeing some of the success that Ken Collins has achieved by neutralizing the lariat and tiger driver with arm-based attacks, he can kill two birds with one stone.
Jiro Tobikuma gets to his feet, but Lorenzo Vasquez is quick to grab his arm and hit him with an armbreaker, then again with a second one. Jiro Tobikuma is in a lot of pain, and Lorenzo Vasquez is liking it. Now Lorenzo takes him down by the arm, and applies an arm grapevine... but once again, Jiro Tobikuma makes it to the ropes, and Lorenzo Vasquez isn't happy about it. He stomps on the injured arm and shoulder a few more times, then picks him up and gives him an inverted atomic drop! With Jiro Tobikuma stunned, Lorenzo Vasquez bounces off the ropes, going for a clothesline... but Jiro Tobikuma ducks, then wraps around behind him and takes him down in a German suplex! He doesn't hold the bridge, though, instead opting to begin to stand up, rubbing his arm in pain.
Lorenzo Vasquez is getting up, but Jiro Tobikuma grabs him by the hair and pulls him into a reverse neckbreaker, taking him down again. Jiro Tobikuma circles around behind as he gets up again, then hooks him and takes him down with a belly-to-back suplex. And he's holding on, rolling through with the move as he gets up, then executing a second belly-to-back suplex on him! Lorenzo Vasquez is down, and Jiro Tobikuma turns him over, then begins driving a knee repeatedly into his upper back and shoulders. Now he's pulling him up, and he whips him into the ropes... LARIAT!! But Lorenzo Vasquez ducks, and goes behind him, then hits a Russian legsweep! Both men stay down briefly, but Lorenzo Vasquez gets up first, then clobbers Jiro Tobikuma a few times and tosses him out of the ring.
Lorenzo's going out after him now... he grabs Jiro Tobikuma from behind and whips him shoulder-first into the ringsteps! And now he's going over to the timekeeper's table, and he just took the ring bell! James Applebee is being distracted by Rebecca Black, and Lorenzo Vasquez takes the ring bell right into Jiro Tobikuma's head, busting him open! Jiro Tobikuma is laid out and bleeding on the arena floor, and now Lorenzo Vasquez puts a foot on his throat and begins stepping down, choking him! James Applebee comes over to warn Lorenzo Vasquez, but while his attention's there, Rebecca Black's going over to Jiro Tobikuma... she's holding his legs spread... and she gives him a swift kick to the groin!
Lorenzo Vasquez turns his attention away from James Applebee again as Rebecca Black plays innocent, and now he has him by the back of the hair, and he smashes him head-first into the ring apron, leaving a bloody splotch on the where his head connects. Jiro Tobikuma is slumped against the ring apron, and Lorenzo Vasquez kneels behind him and gives him a low blow, for no other reason than to be mean. Now Lorenzo Vasquez has his right arm again, and he's pulling it over to the ringpost... and he smashes Jiro Tobikuma's arm into the side of the post! Jiro Tobikuma staggers away, clutching his arm, but Lorenzo Vasquez gives him no chance for quarter at all, grabbing him by the hair again and taking him head-first into the opposite ringpost! Lorenzo Vasquez is destroying Jiro Tobikuma in this brawl outside of the ring.
As James Applebee's count gets dangerously close to ten, Lorenzo Vasquez finally rolls Jiro Tobikuma back into the ring. He goes to the top, and now he's waiting on Jiro Tobikuma, perched on the top turnbuckle... Jiro Tobikuma turns around, and Lorenzo Vasquez takes him down with a big flying clothesline! He crawls on top of him and hooks a leg, and James Applebee goes down to count... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... Kickout at two and a half by Jiro Tobikuma!
Lorenzo Vasquez is picking him up again, and it looks like this'll be a shoulderbreaker... but no, it won't, because Jiro Tobikuma drops out behind him, hooks him from behind, and takes him down with a German suplex! But Jiro Tobikuma can't hold the bridge. Both men stay down for a while, and it's actually Lorenzo Vasquez who gets up first. He picks Jiro Tobikuma up with him, and clobbers him with a few right hands, then whips him into the ropes... but Jiro Tobikuma reverses! Lorenzo Vasquez comes off the ropes... right into a lariat from Jiro Tobikuma!! Lorenzo Vasquez is down, but Jiro Tobikuma is in pain, clutching his arm... that didn't do him any favors either.
Now he's trying to shake off the pain in his arm and shoulder, as Lorenzo Vasquez gets up, a little out-of-sorts after getting turned inside-out by that lariat. Lorenzo Vasquez staggers towards Jiro Tobikuma... and walks right into a spinebuster slam!! Jiro Tobikuma retains a hold on the legs, though, and now he's turning him over, into a Boston crab! This is the same move that he used to retain the VCW Television Title against Ken Collins last month at Spontaneous Combustion! James Applebee's down, asking for the submission... Lorenzo Vasquez is slowly struggling to get to the ropes, not gaining much ground... he's getting closer, but he's in a lot of pain... and Jiro Tobikuma pulls him back into the center of the ring!! Jiro Tobikuma outweighs Lorenzo Vasquez, and his extra weight and strength are making an escape very difficult for Lorenzo Vasquez, who looks like he may be on the verge of submitting!
But wait... Rebecca Black's on the apron, shouting something into the ring... and Jiro Tobikuma just released the hold! He gets up, grabs her by the hair, and hauls her into the ring... and he just stripped off her leather jacket and tossed her into the corner! He hasn't forgotten about the outside interference and the kick to the groin! The crowd's cheering, Rebecca's screaming and begging for mercy... and Jiro Tobikuma chops her hard across the chest! Rebecca Black's obviously in a great deal of pain, and now Jiro Tobikuma gives her a swift kick to the midsection, and hooks her arms... TIGER DRIVER!! Rebecca Black just got hit with the tiger driver, but now Lorenzo Vasquez is back to his feet... Jiro Tobikuma turns around, and walks right into a low blow! And Lorenzo brings him down in a small package... no, not like this!! James Applebee's down to make the count... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... THR... Kickout at two and three-quarters!!
Lorenzo Vasquez is looking pretty frustrated right now, and he sets Jiro Tobikuma up on the top turnbuckle. He's going up top with him... this looks like it'll be a superplex... but Jiro Tobikuma shoves him off! Lorenzo Vasquez gets to his feet as Jiro Tobikuma mounts the top turnbuckle... and Tobikuma comes off the top to connect with a flying dropkick!! Lorenzo Vasquez goes down, and Jiro Tobikuma crawls on top of him, hooking the leg! James Applebee's making the count, and this could do it! ONE!! ... TWO!! ... THR... Kickout at two and three-quarters by Lorenzo Vasquez!
Jiro Tobikuma's getting up, shaking out his arm... he's waiting on Lorenzo to get up... and he charges forward with a lariat, but Lorenzo Vasquez catches the arm, then hits an armbar takedown, into the Barcelona Armbar!! Lorenzo Vasquez has the Barcelona Armbar applied in the middle of the ring!! He's leaning back on it, with something between a grimace and a grin on his face, as Jiro Tobikuma begins scrambling towards the ropes!! But he's not making it there anywhere near fast enough... he's slowly creeping across the ring... way too slowly... and Lorenzo Vasquez just keeps putting on the pressure! How can Jiro Tobikuma still be in this match!? Who knows, but he is... he's inching his way towards the ropes, desperately struggling for every fraction of a centimeter he can gain... and it's looking like he might actually make it! He's squirming, struggling, and using everything he has to try to shut out the pain long enough to make it a few more precious inches... and with one final lunge, his hand grasps the bottom rope, to a thunderous pop from the crowd! Jiro Tobikuma just escaped the Barcelona Armbar!
Lorenzo Vasquez is livid, arguing with James Applebee, who refuses to back down from him. Finally, Lorenzo gives it up and goes back over to Jiro Tobikuma, who's getting up again. He grabs the arm and prepares to go for the Barcelona Armbar again, but Jiro Tobikuma twists free, then pivots and hits him with a desperate elbowsmash from the good arm to the side of the temple! Jiro Tobikuma hauls off and nails Lorenzo Vasquez with a swift kick to the midsection, then hooks his arms... he's going to try the tiger driver!! But is his wounded arm strong enough for this!? IT IS!! Jiro Tobikuma with the tiger driver on Lorenzo Vasquez!! But his arm didn't like that... he's wincing in pain, grabbing his shoulder... and now he's going for the cover, but Rebecca Black just started to get up in the corner, and she has James Applebee distracted! Lorenzo Vasquez is down, but James Applebee's not in position to count!
Jiro Tobikuma's going over to get his attention now... but Lorenzo Vasquez manages to pull himself up off of the mat and crawl up behind him... and he hits him with a low blow!! He hooks him from behind and gives him the tiger suplex, and of course NOW James Applebee's in position to count... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... THRE... NO!! Somehow, at two and nine-tenths, Jiro Tobikuma just rolled a shoulder up! Lorenzo Vasquez gets up, a little slowly after all of the abuse he's taken, and he's arguing with James Applebee, furious over coming so close with no victory yet. But behind him, Rebecca Black goes over to Jiro Tobikuma... and gives him a low blow while he's getting up! Poor Jiro Tobikuma's taken a lot of those during this match... and Lorenzo goes over to him as he's doubled over. He's hooking the arms... he's going for the tiger driver!! He wants to beat Jiro Tobikuma with one of his own favorite moves! But Jiro Tobikuma just backdropped out of it! Lorenzo Vasquez hooks his legs under the arms, trying for a sunset flip, but Jiro Tobikuma hooks the legs and sits down for the pin! James Applebee's counting... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... THREE!! Jiro Tobikuma just retained the VCW Television Title!

(Jiro Tobikuma retained the VCW Television Title.)
So much for the claims that Lorenzo Vasquez would leave here tonight with the VCW Television Title! For someone with little experience outside the indy circuits and Sean Black's training academy, Lorenzo Vasquez did a remarkable job of keeping up with a world-class wrestler like Jiro Tobikuma (admittedly, he had a lot of help from Rebecca Black), but when it came down to it, there just wasn't any way to get around the in-ring excellence and amazing fortitude, of Jiro Tobikuma. Lorenzo Vasquez didn't earn the VCW Television Title tonight, but he put up a fight going down.
Unfortunately, Rebecca Black doesn't see it in that way, screaming obscenities at Jiro Tobikuma as he grabs the VCW Television Title and begins heading backstage with it, with his right arm dangling limply at his side. Realizing that her words are falling on inattentive ears, she turns her attention to consoling Lorenzo Vasquez, and helping him to make his way backstage. The crowd's booing him, though some are politely applauding the effort he gave tonight. In terms of proving what he's capable of, this may have proven more than his bogus victory over Troy Black several weeks ago.
Now "Degenerated" by the Lone Rangers is playing for the second time tonight... and this time, it's Arthur Justice and Virginia who are coming to the ring, representing Administration X. They've got a match with Johnny Smiles and Ken Collins tonight, and Virginia has already caused the Heavy Metal Express to lose their match tonight to the Manhunters. They'd love to win both matches tonight, proving their dominance over their former friends. The crowd boos them as they enter the ring.
Now "Liquid Mercury" by Jimmy Page begins playing over the arena sound system, and here come Ken Collins and Johnny Smiles, accompanied by Stacey Lockman, who seems to have become their informal manager lately. The crowd's cheering loudly for their entrance, and the cheers continue as they stop at the top of the entrance ramp and grab microphones.
K. Collins: Hi, I'm the California Crippler, Ken Collins.
J. Smiles: And I'm his tag team partner, Johnny Smiles. We're not the Immortals, who were two great wrestlers and one great tag team... but you'll have to take what you can get.
The crowd pops for the variation on the old Immortals introduction routine, but Virginia and Arthur Justice don't seem to be amused.
J. Smiles: Anyway, if there's one thing I've learned in the past few weeks, it's how to make my pecs dance. But if there are two things I've learned in the past few days, the other one is that life is like bread. Someone's always trying to butter you up, or beat you into jelly, or eat you alive. But if life is bread... Arthur, Virginia... you guys are toast.
Johnny Smiles and Ken Collins charge into the ring, and begin brawling with Virginia and Arthur Justice! Johnny throws Arthur out of the ring, then steps out himself, leaving Ken Collins and Virginia to start this match out as Jerry Rogers enters the ring, calling for the bell!
Johnny Smiles &
"The California Crippler" Ken Collins
w/Stacey Lockman
vs.
Administration X (Arthur Justice & Virginia)
Ken Collins locks up with Virginia, and she whips him into the ropes... he comes off and ducks a clothesline, then wraps around behind her, and takes her down with a belly-to-back suplex. Virginia gets up... only to get taken down by a Ken Collins dropkick! She gets up again, and takes another dropkick, which sends her down to the mat again. Ken Collins runs into the ropes behind Virginia as she gets up again, then comes up from behind and takes her down again with a bulldog! Before Virginia even has a chance to react, Ken Collins slides over and grabs her arm, pulling it back in an armbar submission! Virginia quickly scrambles towards the ropes, forcing Ken Collins to break the hold, and she quickly crawls across the ring to tag in Arthur Justice.
Arthur Justice enters the ring and immediately attacks Ken Collins with a series of right hands, then whips him into the ropes. Ken Collins comes off the ropes, and Arthur Justice knocks him off his feet with a big dropkick! Ken Collins gets back up, but Arthur Justice lifts him high over his head, then throws him to the mat with a Gorilla Press slam! Ken Collins gets to his feet, shaken by the high-impact offense of Arthur Justice, but Arthur Justice runs right over him with a clothesline! With Ken Collins down, Arthur Justice climbs to one of the second turnbuckles and gives the crowd an X-shaped crotch chop, getting a large round of boos in reply.
Ken Collins starts to get back to his feet, but Arthur Justice turns his attention back to him, nailing him with a series of forearm smashes, then picking him up and folding him across his knee with a backbreaker. Ken Collins is down again, and Arthur Justice drags him into the Administration X corner, then tags in Virginia. Arthur Justice holds Ken Collins up so Virginia can give him a few good shots to the face and abdomen, then leaves the ring. Virginia continues to pound away at Ken Collins... and then she grabs him by the throat with both hands, and lifts him into the air! Virginia is holding Ken Collins in the air by his throat, choking the life out of him, and Jerry Rogers orders her to break the hold and begins counting. At the count of four, Virginia tosses him into the corner, then whips him across into the other turnbuckle and charges in after him with a jumping avalanche! Ken Collins staggers out of the corner... and Virginia picks him up across her shoulders! She's spinning around in circles, with Ken Collins on her shoulders... then drops down into an Ace Crusher! Virginia just hit Ken Collins with the airplane spin into an Ace Crusher, and now she's going for the pin! Jerry Rogers counts... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... Kickout at two by Ken Collins!
Virginia picks Ken Collins up and whips him into the ropes, then grabs him as he comes off and drops him throat-first across the top rope in a Hotshot. Virginia tags in Arthur Justice, and he's going over to Ken Collins... he puts Ken Collins in the California Crossface! He's trying to get Ken Collins to submit to his own move! But they're a little too close to the ropes... Ken Collins struggles and reaches for the ropes... and he makes it! Arthur Justice breaks the hold, but goes right back to stomping on Ken Collins. He picks him up for another Gorilla Press... but this time, Ken Collins slides out behind him, and grabs him from behind! Ken Collins takes Arthur Justice down with a German suplex, and now both men are down! Arthur Justice tags in Virginia... and Ken Collins tags in Johnny!!
Virginia rushes into the ring, but immediately backpedals when she sees that Johnny got the tag as well. The crowd's cheering him on, urging him to tear into her... but now Virginia's dropping to her knees and begging Johnny not to hurt her! Johnny hesitates for a second, and the crowd boos... Virginia stands up... and she turns and knocks Arthur Justice off the apron with a big right hand! She opens her arms to Johnny... and he steps forward... they're hugging in the middle of the ring! The crowd's giving a mixed reaction of mostly boos, and Ken Collins is shaking his head in disgust in the background... and sure enough, Virginia shifts her grip on Johnny just a little bit, then lifts him up... and brings him down in the Spinebuster!! Virginia just hit Johnny with the Spinebuster, and now she's hooking the leg! Jerry Rogers goes down to count... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... THR... Kickout at two and three-quarters!! Virginia couldn't keep him down!
Virginia picks him up by the hair, and puts him in a standing headscissors... power bomb!! Virginia just drilled Johnny with a power bomb, and now she's tagging in Arthur Justice, as he gets back up on the apron. He seems to understand the plan; he's obviously not angry over taking a hit earlier as he moves forward into the middle of the ring. He picks Johnny up by the throat, and drills him into the mat with a choke slam! But he's not going for the cover; instead, he goes up to the top turnbuckle, and he's waiting for Johnny to get up. Johnny gets up, and Arthur Justice comes off the top to nail him with a flying shoulderblock!! Johnny's down, and Arthur Justice goes for the cover! Jerry Rogers is making the count... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... Ken Collins makes the save at two and a half!

Arthur Justice goes down, and Johnny Smiles makes the tag to Ken Collins... and now he's looking at Virginia, who's standing on the apron, and I don't think he wants to hug and make up this time! Virginia jumps down off of the apron and starts sprinting towards the backstage area, and Johnny's in hot pursuit! Johnny Smiles is chasing Virginia backstage, and Ken Collins and Arthur Justice are left to finish this match by themselves!

Smiles and Ken Collins defeated Administration X (Arthur Justice
and Virginia) when K. Collins made Justice submit to the
California Crossface in 0:08:28.
Rating: *
Ken Collins just defeated Arthur Justice in the middle of the ring... but what about Johnny and Virginia? After what just happened, Johnny probably won't be satisfied until he gets his hands on Virginia! She's betrayed him twice now, and even though he should have seen it coming both times, that doesn't change the fact that she's probably exhausted any sympathy he had remaining for her. Arthur Justice rolls out of the ring, clutching his shoulder, and heads backstage... and after taking a moment to enjoy his victory in the ring, Ken Collins heads backstage as well, accompanied by Stacey Lockman.
"Kashmir" by Led Zeppelin is playing now, and the crowd boos as Jacob Idol, Rob Solomon, and Julian Page come out of the backstage area, accompanied by new VCW T & A Champion Jasmina Chastity. Julian Page is still dressed like Bret Hart, right down to the jacket and cheap pink sunglasses, and all three are wearing their title belts. Rob Solomon, as usual, is carrying his hockey stick. Julian Page gives the sunglasses away to some little kid at ringside, and they enter the ring, awaiting the entrance of the Technicians. Thankfully, there will be no disgracing of the Canadian National Anthem tonight.
Next, "Until It Sleeps" by Metallica begins playing, and the crowd cheers as Owen Addison, Paul Canyon, and Tim Bell come out of the backstage area, and make their way to the ring. They've been enemies of the Hammer of the Gods for a long time now, and tonight, the two factions collide. Jennie is noticably absent from the side of the Technicians tonight, but that's not unexpected after the knee injury she suffered earlier in the evening. The Technicians climb into the ring, and it looks like they're selecting Owen Addison to start the match. Jacob Idol steps forward from the Hammer of the Gods, and Linda Peterson's in the ring, calling for the bell.
Technicians (Paul Canyon, Owen Addison, & Tim Bell)
vs.
Hammer of the Gods
(Jacob Idol, Rob Solomon & Julian "The Hitman"
Page)
w/Jasmina Chastity
Jacob Idol locks up with Owen Addison, and immediately grabs his right arm and begins wringing it, but Owen Addison reacts equally quickly, twisting free from the armwringer, then whipping Jacob Idol into the ropes. He tries a savate kick as Jacob Idol comes off the ropes, but Jacob Idol side-steps and grabs his leg... but Owen jumps up and catches Jacob Idol with an enzuigiri! Jacob Idol goes down, and Owen Addison immediately goes for the pin! Linda Peterson's counting... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... Kickout at two by Jacob Idol!
Jacob Idol's getting up, putting a hand to the back of his head, and Owen Addison quickly grabs him and pulls him into a reverse neckbreaker. Jacob Idol's down again, and Owen Addison's hooking his legs around his neck, and applying a figure-four sleeper! Jacob Idol's struggling, kicking his legs about wildly... now he's reaching out with his legs, trying to get a foot in the ropes... he's struggling, stretching as far as he can, and he finally makes the ropes. Owen Addison lets go, and now he's standing up... Jacob Idol's getting up too, but Owen kicks him in the gut, then hooks him and takes him down with a vertical suplex.
Owen Addison tags in Paul Canyon now, and he grabs Jacob Idol's legs... he slingshots him up into a dropkick from Paul Canyon! Jacob Idol's down again, and now Paul Canyon hooks his head, going for a DDT... but Jacob Idol just gave him a low blow!! Linda Peterson's threatening Jacob Idol with disqualification, but he just points to her, then gestures to his crotch. Paul Canyon's doubled over on the mat, and Jacob Idol grabs his legs, spreads them, and drops an elbow across one of his knees. Paul Canyon clutches his knee in pain, and Jacob Idol gets up and tags in Rob Solomon.
Rob Solomon enters the ring as Paul Canyon starts to get up, and gives him a couple of swift kicks to the kneecap, sending him back to his hands and knees. Rob Solomon drives a couple elbows into him, knocking him back to the mat, then hooks his arms and pulls him up, and takes him down with a double underhook suplex. With Paul Canyon on the mat, Rob Solomon gives him a few good stomps, then tags in Julian Page, who immediately grabs his leg and drops an elbow across the knee again. Paul Canyon holds his leg in pain, but Julian Page straightens it out again, and puts his foot across the ropes. With Paul Canyon's foot across the ropes, Julian Page jumps and sits down across the leg, bending Paul Canyon's knee at an unhealthy angle.
Paul Canyon's down, and now Julian Page goes up to the top turnbuckle... he comes off with a flying axhandle, but Paul Canyon just nailed him with a dropkick on the way down! He's holding his knee... he may have jammed his already-weakened leg during that dropkick, but he just took Julian Page down! He grabs Julian Page by the hair and hauls him over to the Technicians' corner, and makes the tag to Tim Bell, who grabs Julian Page and takes him down with a vertical suplex, then straddles him and rains a series of punches down on his face! Julian Page was the one who took the VCW Television Title away from Tim Bell, and he remembers it!
Tim Bell pulls Julian Page up and whips him into the ropes, then nails him with a high knee as he comes off! Julian Page crashes to the mat, but quickly gets back up and charges Tim Bell... only to get taken down with a hiptoss! He gets up again, and charges in again... and gets another hiptoss! Now Tim Bell picks him up, and whips him into the ropes... Julian Page comes off the ropes, and Tim Bell tries for a clothesline, but Julian Page ducks it and hooks his arm, then swings up for a crucifix... but Tim Bell controls his fall back, and takes Julian Page down with a Samoan Drop! He lies across Tim Bell's body and hooks a leg... Linda Peterson's making the count... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... Kickout at two by Julian Page!
Tim Bell gets up, and he's pulling Julian Page up with him. He goes behind him, and picks him up from behind... belly-to-back suplex! Tim Bell drops a knee on Julian Page, and now he's tagging in Owen Addison. Owen goes up to the top turnbuckle, and Julian Page is getting back to his feet... he turns around, and Owen Addison jumps off onto him with a flying cross bodypress! Owen hooks the leg, as Linda Peterson goes to count... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... Kickout at two by Julian Page! Owen Addison gets up, and pulls Julian Page up with him. He doubles him over with a knee to the gut, then runs into the ropes, and comes off to nail him with a picture-perfect swinging neckbreaker! Julian Page begins to pull himself up, and Owen Addison pulls him up into a standing headscissors, then gives him a piledriver! He goes for the cover again... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... Kickout at two and a half by Julian Page!
Owen Addison tags Tim Bell in again, and he whips Julian Page into the ropes. Julian Page comes off the ropes, right into a double dropkick from Tim Bell and Owen Addison! Owen rolls out of the ring, and Tim Bell bounces off the ropes behind Julian Page as he gets up, then takes him down with a bulldog! Tim Bell pulls Julian Page up again, but grabs a handful of his hair and turns around... Ace Crusher! Julian Page falls flat to his back, and Tim Bell is climbing to the top turnbuckle! FROG SPLASH!! Tim Bell with a frog splash... right onto Julian Page's knees. Tim Bell is doubled over, clutching at his midsection, and Julian Page drags him to his corner by the hair, then tags in Jacob Idol.
Jacob Idol sets Tim Bell in a corner, then drives several knees right into his midsection, doubling him over. Jacob Idol grabs his head and flips him over in a snap mare, then comes off the ropes and drives an elbow right into his abdomen. Tim Bell clutches at his midsection again in pain, and Jacob Idol stomps away at him. Jacob Idol picks him up, and brings him down with a bodyslam... then gives him a frog stomp to the midsection, shades of Kevin Sullivan or Kaoru Ito! Tim Bell is clutching at his stomach, and Jacob Idol tags in Rob Solomon.
Rob Solomon immediately tosses Tim Bell into the corner, and begins unloading on him with stiff kicks to the head and midsection. Tim Bell staggers out of the corner, doubled over... and Rob Solomon grabs his hair! Sitdown faceslam!! Rob Solomon just hit the sitdown faceslam on Tim Bell, and he goes for the cover, as Linda Peterson goes down to count... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... THR... Kickout at two and three-quarters! Rob Solomon's none too happy about that kickout, and he's quick to take out his frustration on Tim Bell's face with a series of punches.
Rob Solomon pulls Tim Bell up and gives him a headbutt, then hooks him in an abdominal stretch! Tim Bell's face contorts in pain; the abdominal stretch isn't normally a match-ending move, but Tim Bell's taken a lot of blows to the abdomen, and in his weakened state this move could be devestating to him. Linda Peterson's checking in with him, but he's fighting the pain, trying not to submit. He's struggling... but Rob Solomon just grabbed the ropes, and Linda Peterson doesn't see it! Rob Solomon is using the ropes for leverage... and Linda Peterson looks up, but Rob Solomon lets go of the ropes just in time, and Jacob Idol begins leaning on them, hiding any unnatural shaking. She asks Rob Solomon about holding the ropes, but he denies it... only to begin holding the ropes again as she returns to asking Tim Bell if he wants to quit.
Owen Addison decides that he's seen enough of this, and charges into the ring and clobbers Rob Solomon before he can be stopped. Linda Peterson immediately begins ordering him back to his corner, threatening disqualification, and as she does of course the Hammer of the Gods triple-teams Tim Bell in the corner. Linda Peterson turns around, and Rob Solomon catches Tim Bell from behind and pulls his arms across his chest... straightjacket suplex! Linda Peterson goes down to count... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... THR... Kickout at two and three-quarters! Tim Bell's not quite done yet!
Rob Solomon plants him with a bodyslam, and now he's going up to the top turnbuckle. He stops briefly on the top turnbuckle to make a chopping motion and pose for the crowd... then jumps off! KATANA LEGDROP!! But Tim Bell just rolled away and avoided it in the nick of time! Rob Solomon just crash-landed on his butt, and Tim Bell's crawling to his corner... he makes the tag, and in comes Paul Canyon! Paul Canyon grabs Rob Solomon as he gets up and whips him into the corner, then follows him in with a dropkick. Rob Solomon staggers out of the corner, and Paul Canyon brings him down with a backdrop! He gets up and turns around, and Paul Canyon blasts him in the face with a savate kick!
Paul Canyon runs into the ropes, as Rob Solomon pulls himself to his feet, and comes off to execute a dropkick on Rob Solomon! Rob Solomon goes down, and gets up again, only to get another dropkick from Paul Canyon as he comes off the ropes again. Once again, Rob Solomon pulls himself to his feet as Paul Canyon comes off the ropes... but this time, Paul Canyon nearly knocks his head off with a running leaping forearm smash! Rob Solomon's down in the ring, and Paul Canyon goes for the cover... Linda Peterson counts... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... Kickout at two by Rob Solomon!
Paul Canyon tags in Owen Addison, then takes Rob Solomon down in a snap suplex. Owen Addison gives Rob Solomon a legdrop across the throat, then pulls him up again and gives him a few elbowsmashes across the back of the neck. Owen Addison takes him down with a Russian legsweep, then climbs to the top turnbuckle... and comes down on Rob Solomon with a moonsault! But instead of going for the cover, he just pummels Rob Solomon a few times, then pulls him up by his hair into a standing headscissors... piledriver!! Owen Addison just hit Rob Solomon with a piledriver, and now he drops an elbow and goes for the cover! ONE!! ... TWO!! ... Kickout at two and a half by Rob Solomon! Owen Addison pulls him up again, and brings him down with a fisherman suplex in a pinning combination... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... THR... Kickout at two and three-quarters!
Owen Addison picks Rob Solomon up from behind in a belly-to-back suplex position, and tags in Paul Canyon, who hooks an arm around his head... and they drop him in a combination belly-to-back suplex/reverse neckbreaker!! That had to do some serious damage to his neck!! Paul Canyon goes for the cover! Linda Peterson's counting... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... THR... Shoulder up at two and three-quarters again! Rob Solomon is still down in the middle of the ring, and Paul Canyon's going up to the top turnbuckle... he goes for the Magic Carpet Ride, but Rob Solomon rolls out of the way!! Paul Canyon just wiped out on the mat, and now both men are down. They stay down, as Linda Peterson begins counting... and finally, at the count of five, they both begin to stir at the same time. Both of them get up, but Rob Solomon's just a little faster, and he mows Paul Canyon down with a lariat!!
Instead of going for the cover, Rob Solomon staggers over to his corner and makes the tag... and here comes Jacob Idol again. Jacob Idol hasn't forgotten about the earlier damage they did to Paul Canyon's knee, and he goes right back after it, grabbing the leg and dropping a series of elbows across the knee. He tags in Julian Page and applies a half Boston... not only is Paul Canyon caught in the half Boston, but he's also unable to move as Jacob Idol comes off the ropes and drops a knee on his skull. Jacob Idol releases the hold, and Julian Page begins stomping away at the knee viciously.
Paul Canyon is in a lot of pain, and Julian Page pulls him up... only to bring him down with a kneebreaker. Julian Page stops to drill a couple of elbows into his knee, then grabs the legs and applies a figure-four leglock! Julian Page has Paul Canyon in a figure-four leglock in the middle of the ring, and he's in a lot of pain. He's struggling, trying to reach the ropes... but that's a futile idea, and he realizes it. The only one near enough to the ropes to grab them is Julian Page, a fact which he takes advantage of when Linda Peterson turns to ask Paul Canyon for a submission. Paul Canyon's struggling... but with Julian Page holding the ropes, there's no way he can break this hold! He's struggling, saying that he doesn't want to submit yet... and Linda Peterson turns and sees Julian Page holding the ropes! She immediately orders him to break the hold, and begins counting... but Julian Page isn't releasing it! She gets to four, then yells at him to break it again and starts over... and this time, he lets go at four.
Paul Canyon is out of the figure-four leglock, but not out of the woods yet... Julian Page hooks him, and brings him down in a vertical suplex! But instead of going for the cover, he picks him up again... Russian legsweep!! Okay, I think we know what comes next... here's the backbreaker, and now Julian Page goes up to the second turnbuckle, and comes off with an elbowdrop! That's four... and Julian Page grabs his legs and hooks on the Sharpshooter, completing the FIVE MOVES OF DOOM!! Paul Canyon is in the middle of the ring, trapped in the Sharpshooter, and things don't look good! He's struggling, trying to pull himself to his corner... but he's in a lot of pain. Julian Page cinches on the hold, leaning into it and holding it as tightly as he can... he'd love for yet another victim to fall to his mockery of Bret Hart. Paul Canyon's face is red and sweating, as he struggles to drag himself to his corner, but he's just not getting there very fast. How he's holding out this long is hard to guess, but he keeps struggling... he's pulling himself to his corner, inch by inch, showing amazing endurance... he keeps struggling, fighting for every inch he can get... and he reaches out one last time... and tags in Owen Addison!!
Julian Page releases the Sharpshooter and turns around, then takes a swing at Owen Addison, but it's blocked, and Owen returns fire with one of his own! He whips Julian Page into the ropes... Julian Page reaches out and tags in Rob Solomon as he comes off the ropes, but runs right into a Hotshot from Owen Addison! He rolls out of the ring, and Rob Solomon comes in... he goes for a spin kick to Owen's head, but Owen ducks, then pops up and grabs him from behind, and takes him down in a belly-to-back suplex! Now here comes Jacob Idol... but Owen Addison runs forward and nails him with a spinning leg lariat! Jacob Idol goes down!
Tim Bell enters the ring and cuts Jacob Idol off, then throws him out of the ring. Julian Page jumps up on the apron again, but Owen nails him with a dropkick, sending him crashing to the floor! Tim Bell runs into the ropes, and dives out onto Jacob Idol with a plancha! On the other side of the ring, Paul Canyon climbs gingerly to the top turnbuckle, as Julian Page gets up... and Paul Canyon jumps off with a flying cross bodypress, sending both men into a heap on the floor! But as this is going on, Jasmina Chastity just slipped Rob Solomon's hockey stick into the ring, and now she's distracting Linda Peterson! Rob Solomon grabs the hockey stick, and Owen Addison turns back to him from the action that's going on outside of the ring... and Rob Solomon nails him right across the side of the head with the hockey stick!! NO!!
Owen Addison is laid out in the middle of the ring, and Rob Solomon goes up to the top turnbuckle... KATANA LEGDROP!! This HAS to be over!! He's going for the cover, and Jasmina Chastity points it out to Linda Peterson, who goes down for the count... damn it, don't let it end this way... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... THRE... WHAT!?!? Owen Addison just got a shoulder up at the last second humanly possible!! Rob Solomon has a look of pure shock on his face... he can't believe it!! But he's going up to the top turnbuckle again... Owen's still nearly motionless on the mat... but Tim Bell comes from behind and jostles the ropes! Rob Solomon loses his balance and crotches himself on the turnbuckle, but Jasmina Chastity comes up from behind Tim Bell and nails him with a low blow as well!!
Rob Solomon's on the turnbuckle, in a lot of pain... and Owen Addison's getting up slowly... he's going up with him! Rob Solomon begins struggling, trying to throw Owen Addison off, but Owen silences that with an elbowsmash to the side of the head, then hooks him... and brings him down in a superplex!! Both men are down, and both stay that way for a while as Linda Peterson counts... but at the count of seven, Owen Addison puts an arm across Rob Solomon! Now she's down to count the pin... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... THR... Kickout at two and three-quarters! But Owen's getting up... he pulls Rob Solomon up, and gutwrenches him into position... TOMBSTONE!! Owen Addison just drilled Rob Solomon with the Tombstone!! Now he's going for the pin, and both of Rob Solomon's teammates are occupied in a brawl with one of the Technicians on the outside... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... THRE... NO!! Rob Solomon somehow kicked out! His body must be operating under instinct alone!
Owen Addison picks him up... he's going for another one... but Rob Solomon squirms free behind him, grabs him from behind, and gives him an atomic drop!! Owen Addison staggers forward, clutching his tailbone, then turns around, and Rob Solomon whips him into the ropes. Owen Addison comes off the ropes... and Rob Solomon lashes out with one of his lariats!! But Owen ducks under and goes behind... BACKDROP DRIVER!! Rob Solomon just got planted RIGHT on his head, and Owen Addison crawls across for the pin! Linda Peterson's making the count! ONE!! ... TWO!! ... THREE!! Jacob Idol tried to slide in for the save, but Tim Bell held onto his leg and stopped him!
The
Technicians (Owen Addison, Paul Canyon, and Tim Bell) defeated
The Hammer of the Gods (Julian Page, Jacob Idol, and Rob Solomon)
when O. Addison pinned R. Solomon in 0:27:38.
Rating: ****
The Technicians are in a bad way... Owen Addison looks disoriented and semi-concious, Paul Canyon can barely walk, and Tim Bell is still clutching his stomach in pain... but they just defeated their rivals in the middle of the ring tonight! The Hammer of the Gods isn't faring any better; Rob Solomon has been laid to waste inside the ring, Julian Page is still in a heap on the outside, and Jacob Idol is the only one even moving, crawling to the side of his fallen tag team partner. They put up one heck of a fight, but after tonight's outcome, which saw a member of the Ontario Color Show get a clean pin over a member of the VCW World Tag Team Champions, you have to think that a tag team title match will be inevitable.
The wounded and weary combatants from this match make their way backstage, and now we're looking to a match that will, in all likelihood, be very different. Scott Hall and Randy Savage are certainly no strangers to one another. As Razor Ramon, Scott Hall feuded with Randy Savage in the World Wrestling Federation... and later, they were teammates as part of the New World Order in World Championship Wrestling. Tonight, they're going to face each other in a VCW ring, one-on-one!
"Bulls On Parade" by Rage Against The Machine begins playing first, bringing out Scott Hall. He walks to the ring, cocky as ever, and grabs a microphone as he steps in through the ropes. The crowd cheers loudly as he holds the microphone to his mouth, not speaking just yet, hesitating a few moments...
S. Hall: Hey, yo.
The crowd erupts into cheers.
S. Hall: Tonight, I'm gonna punk out that bald-headed, fossilized Nacho Man, just like I did in Dubbya-C-Dubbya... but first, it's time to take a little survey. How many of you people came here to see that lame Nacho Man?
Scott Hall holds out the microphone, and the crowd responds with a lot of boos, which is to be expected, because Savage hasn't exactly endeared himself to the VCW crowds.
S. Hall: And how many people came here to see the baddest man in wrestling, Scott Hall?
The crowd explodes into loud cheers, and Scott Hall looks pleased with the reaction.
S. Hall: That's what I thought. Survey says... one more for the good guy. Now get that bald-headed Nacho Man out here, and I've something he can snap into right down HERE.
Scott Hall punctuates the sentence with a crotch chop, as the crowd cheers... but now "Walk" by Pantera begins playing again, and here comes "Macho Man" Randy Savage. He doesn't look like he appreciated Hall's comments at all, and he has violent intentions in his eyes as he stalks to the ring. He enters the ring and begins brawling with Scott Hall, as referee Bobcat McGavin slides in and calls for the bell, beginning this match!
Scott Hall
vs.
"Macho Man" Randy Savage
They start off by trading punches, and after they go back and forth a little bit, Randy Savage gains control. He puts Scott Hall in a side headlock and gives him a few more punches to the forehead, then throws him out of the ring and goes out after him. We've got a brawl on our hands already! Randy Savage takes Scott Hall headfirst into the ring apron, then does likewise on the announcer's table! Scott Hall staggers back, and Randy Savage grabs him by the arm and whips him into the guardrail! Scott Hall's propped up against the guardrail, in a lot of pain, and Randy Savage goes over and nails him with a series of punches to the face.
Randy Savage grabs Scott Hall by the hair and takes him headfirst into the ringpost, then drags him up the entrance ramp a little way before drilling him with a big right hand, knocking him down. Scott Hall begins to get up, a little groggy, and Randy Savage hooks him... and gives him a vertical suplex on the steel entrance ramp!! Scott Hall just landed back-first on the ramp! Bobcat McGavin is being very lenient with the count, because neither of the participants and none of the fans want to see this end in a double countout, especially this early. Savage grabs Hall and drags him back towards the ring, then smashes his head into the ring apron again and rolls him inside.
With Scott Hall inside the ring, Randy Savage climbs to the top turnbuckle as Scott Hall gets up. He comes off with a flying axhandle... but Scott Hall side-steps, and nails him with a fist to the midsection! Savage is doubled over, and Hall puts on a headlock... then takes him down with a bulldog! Savage is down, and Hall crawls on top of his back, then begins slapping him in the back of the head, doing no real damage, but definitely making him mad. Savage shrugs him off and gets up, but Hall blocks his attempt at a punch, then returns fire with a couple of his own and whips him into the corner. In the corner, Hall nails him with a series of kneelifts, then steps back and measures him carefully, does a crotch chop, and drills him with an elbowsmash! That was straight out of the pages of the Kevin Nash playbook.
Savage staggers out of the corner, and Hall nails him with a swift kick to the midsection, then puts him in a standing headscissors! This could be the Crucifix Power Bomb... but it's not, as Savage backdrops his way out of it. Scott Hall gets up and turns around, and now it's Savage's turn to back him into the corner and unload on him with a series of punches. Hall staggers out, and Savage picks him up... backbreaker! Scott Hall is convulsing on the mat, and Savage pauses to pose for the crowd and yell "OH, YEAH!!", but gets a reply of loud boos.
Scott Hall begins to get back up, but Savage turns and drills him with some more punches, then hooks him and takes him down in a vertical suplex. Scott Hall is down on the mat, and Randy Savage drops down, possibly going for a cover... no, he's choking him!! Randy Savage is choking out Scott Hall, and Bobcat McGavin's trying to make him stop, with little success... now Bobcat McGavin begins the count, and Savage lets go at four. Bobcat McGavin sternly reprimands Randy Savage, as Scott Hall remains down on the mat, clutching at his throat.
Randy Savage stomps away at Scott Hall a few times, then tosses him out of the ring. Looks like there's going to be more ringside brawling... and Savage is going up top! Scott Hall's up... and Randy Savage jumps off with a flying axhandle from the top turnbuckle!! Hall goes down like a felled tree, but Savage grimaces in pain as well... that didn't do his ailing knees any favors. Savage shuts out the pain and picks Hall up by the hair, and he rams him head-first into the ringsteps! Scott Hall slumps against the steps, and Randy Savage doesn't let up at all... he's grabbing some microphone cables and choking Scott Hall with those now. Savage is pulling out all the ruthless brawling tactics here!
Now Savage is going over to the timekeeper's desk, and stealing his chair! He walks over to Scott Hall, and raises the chair to hit him with it... but Bobcat McGavin reaches out from inside the ring and jerks the chair away! Randy Savage turns to him in surprise and begins telling him off, but Scott Hall gets up and turns him around, then drops him with a punch! Scott Hall rams Savage's head into the apron, then whips him into the guardrail! Savage collides with the guardrail painfully, and Hall doesn't waste any time in advancing on him and drilling him with a series of punches to the forehead. Savage slumps to the floor, but Hall pulls him up by the hair in the back of his head, and begins choking him by forcing his throat down on the guardrail!
Seeing that Bobcat McGavin's patience is wearing thin, Hall rolls Savage back into the ring, then goes in after him. Savage begins to get up, but Hall gives him a swift knee to the midsection, then puts on an abdominal stretch. Savage is fighting the move, trying to withstand the pain... and of course Hall reaches over and grabs the ropes for leverage, which actually draws a pop from the crowd. Savage continues to struggle, but the leverage afforded to Hall by the use of the ropes prevents him from breaking the hold. Bobcat McGavin looks up to check, but Scott Hall lets go of the ropes just in time to keep him from seeing it. Bobcat McGavin's asking Scott Hall about the shaking ropes now, but Scott Hall just shrugs his free shoulder cluelessly, and Bobcat McGavin goes back to Savage, asking if he wants to quit... and Scott Hall's hand goes back to the ropes again. After a few more seconds of asking Savage, Bobcat McGavin looks up again... and once again, Scott Hall releases the ropes and plays dumb when questioned about it. Bobcat McGavin turns back to Savage, as Hall grabs the ropes again... but this time, he turns around quickly and catches Hall in the act! He orders Hall to release the hold... Hall just laughs and refuses... and Bobcat McGavin kicks his arm off of the ropes, drawing boos from the crowd. Scott Hall releases Randy Savage, and gives Bobcat McGavin a crotch chop, and the crowd pops for that.
Randy Savage is still hurting after the abdominal stretch, and turns around to face Scott Hall... but Scott Hall catches him by the neck... chokeslam!! Scott Hall just chokeslammed Randy Savage, but he's not going for the cover... he's staggering around the ring with his arms outstretched, mocking the Giant even though he hasn't wrestled in the same company as Paul Wight for several years now. This could come back to haunt him. Scott Hall goes over to Randy Savage and starts to pull him up off of the mat... and Savage low blows him! Scott Hall doubles over and goes down, and Randy Savage goes down as well, still suffering from the chokeslam and the abdominal stretch. Bobcat McGavin begins counting... but at the count of six, Randy Savage is back up, just in time to nail Scott Hall with a punch as he gets to his feet.
Once again, Savage drives Hall into the corner and gives him a series of punches. Hall stumbles out... and Savage takes him down with a bodyslam. Savage climbs to the top turnbuckle as Hall gets up... and he nails him with a flying axhandle! Hall goes down, and Savage goes for the cover... this is the first pin attempt of the match! Bobcat McGavin's counting... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... Kickout at two and a half by Scott Hall!
Savage looks a little frustrated, and puts a rear chinlock on Scott Hall, dragging him down to the mat as a result. Scott Hall struggles and squirms, trying to escape the hold, but he can't make it, and eventually goes limp. Bobcat McGavin checks his arm. He lifts it once, and it falls... he lifts it a second time, and it falls... he lifts it a third time, and it... stays up!! Scott Hall's arm stays up, and he's struggling, slowly getting back to his feet... and he's up again! He elbows Randy Savage in the gut, loosening the hold a little... and elbows him again! A third elbow breaks the hold, and Scott Hall whips Randy Savage into the ropes... but Savage reverses it. Hall comes off the ropes, and Savage runs at him with a clothesline... but Hall ducks, and Savage just nailed Bobcat McGavin! The referee's down! And Savage turns around, right into a kick to the midsection by Hall!
Scott Hall picks the Macho Man up now, capitalizing on his advantage... and throws him over his head with a fallaway slam! Savage is down, and Hall picks him up and sets him up on the top turnbuckle, then climbs up after him! Belly-to-back superplex!! Scott Hall just brought Randy Savage down from the top with a belly-to-back superplex, and that could be it! Now he pulls him up and puts him in a standing headscissors, holding his arms out at the side... it's the Crucifix Power Bomb!! He lifts Savage up... and drives him into the mat!! Savage is down, and Scott Hall goes for the cover... but Bobcat McGavin's still down!! Scott Hall has this match won, but the referee's not up to acknowledge it!
Wait, who's that running out of the back!? Dick Douglas comes running out of the back, drawing boos from the crowd, and he's carrying a crowbar! Scott Hall doesn't see him coming... he's busy trying to revive the referee... and Dick Douglas slides into the ring! Scott Hall turns around... and Dick Douglas nails him between the eyes with the crowbar!! He just laid Scott Hall out, and now he's dragging Savage on top of him! Dick Douglas is leaving the ring, and Randy Savage is on top of an unconscious Scott Hall! Bobcat McGavin's starting to come around... he turns and sees the pin, and begins counting! Not like this!! Hall's gonna get screwed! ONE!! ... TWO!! ... THR... Scott Hall just rolled a shoulder up at two and three-quarters!!
Both men are getting up, a little slowly... but Savage is up first. Scott Hall turns around, staggering and holding his head... and Savage drills him in the stomach with a swift kick! Scott Hall doubles over, and now Savage puts him in a standing headscissors... and brings him down with a piledriver! Hall is down, and Savage begins climbing the ropes, a little slowly... and he comes off the top with the Flying Elbowdrop!! This has to be it! Bobcat McGavin makes the count... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... THREE!! Randy Savage just beat Scott Hall, but he didn't do it without help!
Randy
Savage pinned Scott Hall with the Flying Elbowdrop in 0:15:40.
Rating: * 3/4
Randy Savage is rolling out of the ring, worn out and weary, but he's leaving this match as the victor. He owes a lot of credit to the interference of Dick Douglas, however; and Scott Hall probably owes Dick Douglas quite a beating when he gets his hands on him. Some trainers are out to help Scott Hall to the back, and were it not for the referee bump and subsequent interference, he had this match won. This isn't the outcome that should have happened.
What a night it's been so far... but we've still got four more big matches ahead of us. But first, let's take a break. Get something to eat or drink, spend some time with your significant other and/or and kids, walk the doggie, take a nap, or whatever you like to do... go ahead and take a rest. The third and final part of Deck the Halls 2000 will be waiting here when you get back.
