Welcome back to the show! We've already seen quite a bit of great wrestling action in the preceeding portion of the show, and now we're about to move ahead into our next match! "Through The Never" by Metallica begins playing over the arena sound system, and the crowd cheers as Tim Bell comes out of the backstage entrance and walks to the ring. Tonight, he has a shot at reclaiming his VCW Television Title and settling some apparent issues with Lance Errington in the same match. Jennie is notably absent from his side, after Owen Addision's proclaimation that the Technicians could no longer trust her at ringside due to rumors of her associations with other wrestlers outside of the ring. Tim Bell climbs into the ring and poses briefly, then turns towards the entrance and begins awaiting his opponents.
"Perfect Strangers" by Dream Theater begins playing next, and the crowd boos loudly as Lance Errington steps out of the backstage area and begins walking slowly to the ring. He's wearing a dirty white T-shirt and a dirty pair of cut-off denim shorts, and looking rather unkempt and haggard as he comes to the ring. He climbs inside... and Tim Bell rushes him immediately!! Tim Bell's not waiting for the opening bell... he immediately catches Lance Errington with a series of right hands when he comes in!
Lance Errington and Tim Bell are already brawling in the ring... and "Woke Up This Morning (Chosen One Mix)" by Alabama Three begins playing, and that brings out Brujah, the VCW Television Champion, accompanied by Rebecca Black! He immediately takes off the title and hands it to Rebecca, then runs to the ring and slides inside to join the match! Jerry Rogers enters the ring, calling for the bell, and this match begins now!
For the VCW Television Title:
Brujah
w/Rebecca Black
vs.
Lance Errington
vs.
Tim Bell
Brujah slides into the ring as Tim Bell takes Lance Errington down with a swinging neckbreaker. Tim Bell gets up and begins to continue the assault, but Brujah spins him around from behind, then begins hammering him with a series of stiff punches to the face! He backs Tim Bell into a corner, and assaults him with a barrage of vicious punches, kicks, and chops, leaving him slumped in the corner... then hooks him and pulls him out with a snap suplex! Tim Bell's down, but Brujah doesn't let up for a second, pulling him back up and nailing him across the back with a series of hard forearm smashes. He whips Tim Bell into the corner back-first, and Tim Bell staggers out... right into a Yakuza kick from Brujah that knocks him on his back! Lance Errington's up too, and he congratulates Brujah briefly, then extends his hand as if suggesting that they team up against Tim Bell... but Brujah just looks at him quizzically for a second, then punches him in the face, knocking him to the mat!
Brujah crouches over Lance Errington, and begins raining punches down on him... but Tim Bell's up now, and he grabs Brujah from behind and puts on a waistlock... and he takes him down with a German suplex! Jerry Rogers goes down to make the count... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... Lance Errington grabs Tim Bell's legs and pulls him away, breaking the pin, then steps through and turns him over... SCORPION DEATHLOCK! Lance Errington has Tim Bell in the Scorpion Deathlock in the middle of the ring... and Brujah gets up, and begins stomping on Tim Bell while he's trapped in the hold! Tim Bell's struggling, but with Brujah stomping at him, he's having a hard time going for the ropes or trying to counter the hold... but now Brujah runs into the ropes, and nails Lance Errington with a lariat to the back of the head, breaking the hold!
Lance Errington falls face-down on the canvas... and Brujah measures him, then drops a knee right into his lower back! Lance Errington yells out in pain, but Brujah just gets up and does it again! Now Tim Bell's getting up, and Brujah turns his attention to him, opening up on him with a series of vicious punches and kicks... but Tim Bell catches his leg on one of the kicks, and takes him down with a dragon screw leg whip! Brujah gets up and charges Tim Bell with a lariat, but Tim Bell ducks under it and wraps around behind him, then takes him down with a belly-to-back suplex! Lance Errington's getting up too... and Tim Bell immediately nails him with a savate kick that knocks him off of his feet! Lance Errington gets up again, and Tim Bell doubles him over with a kneelift to the midsection, then hooks him and lifts him for a vertical suplex... but Brujah's up, and he comes from behind, nailing Tim Bell with a knee to the back! Tim Bell stumbles forward, dropping Lance Errington face-first on the mat, and Brujah lifts him from behind with a rear gutwrench, then brings him down across his knee in a side backbreaker!
Lance Errington starts getting up, but Brujah keeps him doubled over with a few forearm shots to the back, then pulls him into a standing headscissors. He's going for the Power Bomb to try and finish this one early... but Lance Errington backdrops out of it! Brujah takes him over with a sunset flip, but Lance Errington rolls backwards out of it, then grabs Brujah's legs and begins to put on the Scorpion Deathlock, but Brujah kicks him off, sending him backwards into the turnbuckle! Brujah gets up and climbs to the second turnbuckle, then starts raining punches down on Lance Errington in the corner... but Tim Bell comes from behind and nails Brujah with a dropkick, sending him spilling out over the top rope to crash on the apron, then fall off and land on a heap on the floor! Lance Errington staggers out of the corner... and Tim Bell hooks him by the waist as he comes out, then takes him down with a belly-to-belly suplex!! He covers Lance Errington and hooks the leg, as Jerry Rogers goes down to count... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... Kickout at two and a half by Lance Errington!
Tim Bell grabs Lance Errington and tosses him out of the ring near Brujah, then climbs up to the top turnbuckle... and he jumps out at Lance Errington with a flying cross bodypress to the floor, but Lance Errington grabs Brujah and pulls him into the way as he dodges to the side! Tim Bell takes out Brujah instead of Lance Errington, and Lance Errington's waiting for him as he gets up, grabbing him by the hair and taking him head-first into the steel ringsteps. Tim Bell goes down, and Lance Errington crouches over him, nailing him with repeated right hand blows. And now... wait a second, somebody's coming out of the backstage area! It's Jennie!! Jennie has come out of the backstage area, and she walks down the aisle, stopping almost at ringside! The crowd gives a mixed reaction for her appearance... what's she doing here!? Owen Addison had explicitly banned her from showing up at the Technicians' matches... but here she is anyway!
As Jennie looks on at the brawl at ringside, Brujah's getting back up, and Tim Bell just reversed a whip to the guardrail from Lance Errington, sending him crashing back-first into the guardrail! Tim Bell's staying focused on Lance Errington, drilling him with jabs and chops against the guardrail, but Rebecca Black has Jerry Rogers distracted, and Brujah just grabbed a steel chair! Brujah begins coming up from behind Tim Bell with the chair in his hands... and Jennie suddenly yells "NO!!" and runs forward, begging Brujah not to use the chair! Brujah looks at her strangely for a second... and he nods and tosses the chair aside! He's qctually obeying her request not to use the chair against Tim Bell, and instead Brujah whirls Tim around by the shoulder and begins pelting him with blows to the face. Jennie winces in disapproval, but doesn't object now as Brujah batters Tim Bell with a few blows to the face, then rolls him back into the ring.
Tim Bell's getting up in the ring, but Brujah's climbing up to the top turnbuckle... and he comes off with a flying clothesline that takes Tim Bell off his feet! Brujah covers him and hooks a leg, as Jerry Rogers makes the count... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... Kickout at two and a half! Brujah seems to realize that he still has a long way to go, and pulls Tim Bell to his feet, then scoops him up and brings him down across a knee in a backbreaker! He drops Tim Bell, allowing him to writhe in pain on the mat, and runs into the ropes... but Lance Errington reaches in from the outside and pulls him out! Lance Errington nails Brujah with a kneelift, then takes him head-first into the ringsteps! Brujah falls in a heap at ringside, and Lance Errington climbs up on the apron, then mounts the top turnbuckle as Tim Bell gets up... and he comes off with a flying axhandle, but Tim Bell manages to nail him with a savate kick on the way down, blocking it and taking Lance Errington off his feet! Lance Errington's down, and Tim Bell goes for the cover... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... THR... Kickout at two and three-quarters! It seems like that savate kick really took its toll on Lance Errington.
Lance Errington begins getting up again, and Tim Bell whips him into the turnbuckle, then nails him with a kick to the midsection when he staggers out, and hooks him in a front chancery... BRAIN BUSTER!! Tim Bell covers Lance Errington again, and hooks the leg! Jerry Rogers counts... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... Brujah reaches in and pulls Tim Bell out to the outside at two! Brujah drills Tim Bell with a few kneelifts to the gut, then whips him into the guardrail. Tim Bell staggers forward again... and Brujah cuts him down with a stiff lariat when he does! Brujah just did a number on Tim Bell on the outside, and now he climbs up on the apron again and climbs inside... but now Lance Errington's up, and he nails Brujah with a kick to the midsection, doubling him over, then follows it up with an Ace Crusher!! That could do it! Lance Errington covers Brujah, and hooks the leg... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... Shoulder up at two and a half!!
Brujah still has a considerable amount of fight left, but Lance Errington's in control, whipping him into the ropes... and he catches him as he comes off, driving him to the mat with a spinebuster! And Lance Errington keeps holding his legs as he stands up, then steps through and turns Brujah over into the Scorpion Deathlock! Brujah's trapped in the Scorpion Deathlock in the middle of the ring! He grimaces in pain, and begins dragging himself towards the ropes... he's slowly making progress, showing a lot of determination and focus... he's inching his way there, and reaching out... and his fingers brush the ropes and fall short! He begins to pull himself forward again... and Lance Errington pulls him away from the ropes, back into the middle of the ring, and leans back on the hold again! Lance Errington's around fifteen or twenty pounds heavier than Brujah, and that works to his advantage in allowing him to more easily control their position in the ring! Brujah's stuck in the middle again... can he make it all the way to the ropes again!?
As Brujah continues to suffer in the ring, Jennie's coming up to Tim Bell on the outside, and helping him to his feet. Luckily, Jerry Rogers was too busy checking Brujah for a submission to count Tim Bell out, because he was flat on his back on the floor for several seconds after getting mowed down by Brujah's lariat. Jennie points into the ring, and seems to be telling Tim Bell to get in there... and he climbs into the ring again! Seeing that Brujah is fading fast in the Scorpion Deathlock, he immediately grabs Lance Errington by the hair and pulls him around into a front facelock, then drops him with a DDT!! He stopped Lance Errington from getting a submission out of Brujah there, and now he's going for the cover! Lance Errington's not moving as Jerry Rogers goes down to count... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... THRE... SHOULDER UP!! Lance Errington threw a shoulder up at two and nine-tenths somehow! But Tim Bell's not done yet... he puts Lance Errington on the top turnbuckle, and goes up after him! Tim Bell's looking to put Lance Errington away... TOP-ROPE FRANKENSTEINER!! That could do it! He crawls across him and hooks a leg, and Jerry Rogers counts... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... THR... Brujah grabs Tim Bell's ankle and pulls him off at two and three-quarters! Tim Bell manages to pull himself to his feet, even with Brujah holding his ankle. He turns around to face Brujah... and clocks him upside the head with an enzuigiri!
Brujah goes down, but he's still not willing to stay down... he's up again, and Tim Bell rushes him with a savate kick, looking to knock him out of the ring... but Brujah side-steps, and Tim Bell overshoots with the kick, going off balance... and Brujah pitches him out over the top rope! Brujah steps out after him, and leaps at him with an axhandle smash from the apron, but Tim Bell nails him in the midsection when he does! Brujah doubles over, and Tim Bell casts a brief glance into the ring, to see that Jerry Rogers is currently checking on the still-motionless body of Lance Errington. He's not the only one who just noticed that, though... Rebecca Black sees it too, and she just grabbed a chair! She comes up from behind Tim Bell as he advances on Brujah... but Jennie cries out a warning to Tim Bell, and he turns around, just in time to see Rebecca raise the chair and nail her with a kick to the midsection before the swing!
Tim Bell grabs the chair from Rebecca and nails her with it, knocking her to a heap on the floor to a loud pop from the crowd, then raises the chair to attack Brujah... and Jennie runs forward, begging him not to hit Brujah with the chair! Tim Bell looks at her with shock and a bit of apprehension, then raises the chair to hit Brujah anyway... and Jennie grabs it out of his hands! Tim Bell whirls around, looking shocked and betrayed, and he steps towards Jennie, making accusations as Jennie backs away with the chair... and Brujah comes from behind and nails him! Brujah grabs Tim Bell and rams him head-first into the ringpost, then rolls him back into the ring, as Jennie looks on, seeming almost regretful. Earlier on, she stopped Brujah from attacking Tim Bell with a chair, and now she stopped Tim from using a chair on Brujah... and that may have cost Tim Bell this match!
Brujah rolls Tim Bell back into the ring, and puts on a standing headscissors... this could be the finish... POWER BOMB!! He drove Tim Bell down HARD to the mat, and he covers and hooks the leg, as Jerry Rogers counts... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... THR... Lance Errington pulls Brujah off of Tim Bell, and whips him into the ropes... but Brujah ducks a clothesline from Lance Errington, then makes a hobbling sort of run to the other side, and blasts him with a lariat when he comes off! Lance Errington's down, and now Brujah pitches him out over the top rope to the floor! Tim Bell's starting to get up again, and Brujah's waiting on him... and he drills him with a kick to the midsection, then hooks his arms... DOUBLE ARM DDT!! That may have knocked Tim Bell out, but Brujah's not going for the pin yet... he climbs to the top turnbuckle! He raises his arms in a "V" and looks to the sky... SWANDIVE HEADBUTT!! Brujah just came off the top with a swandive headbutt on Tim Bell, and he covers him and hooks a leg! Jerry Rogers makes the count... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... THREE!! Brujah retained his title!!
Triple
Threat Match:
Brujah defeated Tim Bell and Lance Errington when Brujah pinned
T. Bell after a swandive headbutt in 0:18:51.
Rating: **
(Brujah retained the VCW Television Title.)
Brujah just won the match... and he did it with a unique choice of moves. The double-arm DDT, the swandive headbutt, and the looking to the sky with arms in a "V" pose that preceeded it... all of those moves and mannerisms were commonly used by none other than "Superstar" Sean Black during his career in the NCWA. Has Brujah, then, been receiving some lessons from members of the Black family, or was he simply paying tribute there? Rebecca Black's applauding and smiling, and she hands him the VCW Television Title from the outside... he did something right, because he just won this match!
It's a minor point, but now Brujah's up, holding the VCW Television Title... and he's holding the ropes open and looking at Jennie!? What's this!? She's been seeing some unknown person lately, and she stopped Tim Bell from attacking Brujah with the chair... do you mean to tell me that she's... Jennie's stepping into the ring! She stops to kneel at Tim Bell's side, looking somewhat sad as she says something to him that the cameras don't pick up. She gets up, and Brujah holds his arms open for an embrace... and Jennie steps forward and hugs him in return, drawing a huge round of boos from the crowd! Jennie and Brujah... evidently Brujah's the one that Jennie's been slipping away to see, and he's the reason she no-showed several matches pitting the Technicians against him!
The crowd's booing loudly... and now Tim Bell's up, and staring at them with disgust! He grabs Brujah and pulls him away from Jennie, getting right in his face as he says something the cameras don't pick up... and Brujah draws back a fist, but Jennie holds him back, and steps in between them! She's saying something to Tim Bell, and he's backing away... evidently he's not going to go through Jennie to get to Brujah, but hate and disgust are still clear in his eyes as he looks at them. It seems like he could snap here... but he's backing and leaving the ring. But Lance Errington has a microphone on the outside... this can't be good...
L. Errington: Hey, I told you so. Listen to me... back in the locker room... I told you so. You called me a liar... you turned away someone who was breaking the unending pattern of cruelty and trying to help. Now... look at yourself. Go on, you pitiful loser, take a good look at yourself. You just got beat again, and you've only got yourself to blame for it, because you were too fucking STUPID to know the truth when I shoved it in your face.
The crowd boos, and it looks like that may have pushed Tim Bell over the edge! He rushes at Lance Errington and begins nailing him with repeated right hands, as Lance Errington fights back! They're brawling at ringside... and Jennie just said something to Brujah, evidently urging him to go out there, because he just slid out of the ring... and he nails Lance Errington from behind, then grabs a handful of his hair and takes him head-first into a steel ringpost! Lance Errington collapses to the mat, and Brujah turns around, to a contempt-filled stare from Tim Bell... but Tim Bell's cooling down again, and leaving the ringside area, heading backstage. Brujah begins conferring with Rebecca Black, seeming to ask her something... and Jennie seems a little uncomfortable, standing near her. Lance Errington's up now, too, but rather than looking for another fight, he's also going backstage. Brujah begins walking backstage with Jennie, though Rebecca Black's staying at ringside...
And it's time for the introductions for our next match to begin now! The aftermath of the last match went into overtime, and the introductions are beginning! "Wait And Bleed" by Slipknot begins playing over the arena sound system... and Brujah freezes in the aisle! The crowd boos as the massive Grave Digger steps out of the backstage area, and Jennie immediately steps behind Brujah, remembering her last encounter with the Grave Digger... but Brujah seems to remember that, too! He's staring up the ramp at the Grave Digger, and taking off the VCW Television Title. Rebecca Black rushes to his side, seemingly trying to talk some sense into him... but Brujah ignores her and charges up the ramp at the Grave Digger, and blasts him upside the head with the VCW Television Title belt!! The Grave Digger staggers back, and Brujah leaps at him again, catching him square in the face with the title... and the Grave Digger crashes down on the steel ramp, as the crowd cheers!!
Rebecca Black's screaming at Brujah, but Brujah doesn't even seem to notice as he brings the VCW Television Title down repeatedly on the head of the Grave Digger each time he tries to get up! After a few good blows, he pulls the Grave Digger into a standing headscissors... is he going to actually try it! He grabs him and lifts... POWER BOMB ON THE STEEL RAMP!! Brujah just laid the Grave Digger out with the Power Bomb on the ramp, and now he's motioning for Jennie to follow him and walking backstage! Rebecca Black's screaming loudly at him as he departs, obviously pretty upset with Brujah's assault on the Grave Digger...
But there may be even bigger problems on the horizon!! "Domination" by Pantera starts blaring over the arena sound system, and here come Blade and John Uldwall, the Wrecking Crew!! The Grave Digger's still down, and the crowd explodes into cheers as the Wrecking Crew make their way out of the backstage area! This match was scheduled to be a handicap match anyway... but Brujah just took out the Grave Digger before the match even started, and the deck's really stacked against him now! Blade and John Uldwall both pull the Grave Digger up and lift him... DOUBLE POWER BOMB ON THE RAMP!! They just drove him down on the steel ramp again, and now they're picking him up and carrying him down the aisle, then rolling him into the ring! They climb in after him, and Bobcat McGavin enters the ring, calling for the bell!
Handicap Match:
Grave Digger
w/Rebecca Black
vs.
Wrecking Crew
The Wrecking Crew's in the ring, and they're not wasting any time... John Uldwall crouches in the corner, and Blade's climbing to the top turnbuckle! The Grave Digger sits up, then pulls himself to his feet... BREAKDOWN!! The Wrecking Crew just nailed the Grave Digger with the Breakdown in the middle of the ring, and he collapses to the mat like a ton of bricks! Blade goes for the cover and hooks a leg, and Bobcat McGavin counts the pinfall... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... THR... SHOULDER UP!! Somehow, the Grave Digger got a shoulder up, even after all the abuse he's taken before the match, even after the Breakdown! Undaunted, Blade and John Uldwall pull him up and hook him in a double front chancery, then give him a double vertical suplex in the middle of the ring! The Grave Digger's down... AND HE SITS UP!! He's getting up again!!
Blade and John Uldwall both rush him, and immediately begin clobbering him with punches and kicks, keeping him subdued, then pulling him to his feet. John Uldwall puts him in a standing headscissors, as Blade goes up to the top turnbuckle... and John Uldwall goes for a power bomb, but the Grave Digger counters that with a massive backdrop, flinging John Uldwall high into the air! Blade comes off the top with the Flying Spinning Leg Lariat... but he bounces right off the Grave Digger, just sending him staggering back a step or two! John Uldwall gets up and rushes the Grave Digger with a leaping shoulder tackle... but the Grave Digger catches him out of the air! GRAVE YARD SLAM!! John Uldwall's down!! Now Blade's up again... and the Grave Digger absorbs a punch from him, and grabs him by the throat... CHOKESLAM!!
Both members of the Wrecking Crew are down... and the Grave Digger scoops up John Uldwall across a shoulder, then bends down and picks up Blade across the other! He's holding over five hundred pounds upside down, and he shifts them down into position... DOUBLE BURIAL!! He just gave them both the Burial, and he plants a hand on each man's chest! Bobcat McGavin goes down to count... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... THREE!! The Grave Digger just DESTROYED the Wrecking Crew!
Handicap
Match:
The Grave Digger defeated The Wrecking Crew when Digger pinned
Blade and Uldwall with the Burial in 0:01:39.
Rating: DUD
The crowd boos loudly, and the Grave Digger doesn't even stop to admire his handiwork... he immediately steps out over the top rope and begins walking away. The Wrecking Crew is one of the top tag teams in VCW... they probably rival the Ontario Colour Show for the distinction of being the greatest VCW World Tag Team Champions of all time... and the Wrecking Crew destroyed both of them in short order! He's heading backstage, along with Rebecca Black... and we understand that there's currently some backstage commotion with the Black Plague, and there's a camera on it! Let's go to that now!
Backstage...
Tony Garcia, Troy Black, Amy Lin, Lorenzo Vasquez, Brujah, and Desmond are backstage in the Black Plague locker room, and there appears to be a heated dispute going on, with Tony Garcia speaking the most vocally, getting in Brujah's face.
T. Garcia: Listen, I don't care who your girlfriend is or who beat who in SMCW... none of that matters now. If you think that you can throw a few of the Superstar's moves into your match and expect us all to stand back and smile while you mess up our plans, you're sadly mistaken. All my career, I've been a locker room problem solver... and you can either get it in line, or you're a problem I'm gonna have to solve real quick.
Brujah: With all due respect... if you want to try, go right ahead. I'm not looking for trouble, but I'll give you more problems than you can handle. If you don't care whether you make it to your title match tonight or not... then come try me on for size.
T. Garcia: Arrogant son of a bitch...
Tony Garcia lunges for Brujah, but Troy Black and Desmond quickly hold him back. Brujah holds his ground, meeting Tony Garcia's angry stare all the way, and Troy Black finally steps between the two men.
Desmond: Come on, calm down! We have to stay reasonable!
T. Black: He's right. If we're going to be fighting amongst each other, at least it can wait until we're finished fighting the rest of our enemies. Now... Brujah, I want you to understand something. You can do whatever you want, provided it doesn't become a problem... and your attacks on the Grave Digger are getting dangerously close to being a problem.
Brujah: Troy... listen to me. When the Grave Digger attacked Jennie... are you trying to tell me you wouldn't have done the same thing if somebody went after Amy!?
T. Black: Brujah, there's a time and a place for everything--
Brujah: Yeah, I'll bet. And what if somebody went after Melissa a few months ago, before all this!?
T. Black: ... That was a different time. Brujah... I understand what's going on, but we need the Grave Digger for one more night. Just one more night. He's our insurance, in case Tony gets screwed out of the title again tonight. After tomorrow night... we're done with him, and you can tear him limb from limb with my blessing. He has a little more than twenty-four hours left with us... then he's outlived his usefulness, and if you want, Brujah... you can have the honor of disposing of him for me.
Brujah nods and smiles at the news, his eyes already seeming to light up with predatory anticipation.
Brujah: ... Okay. Thank you, Troy. And Tony... listen, I'm sorry about what I said. I understand that we're a family, and I want to be a part of that more than anything, but I can't stand that gigantic bucket of...
The Grave Digger and Rebecca Black walk into the locker room through the door behind Brujah as he speaks, and Desmond points behind him to indicate that. Brujah trails off as he turns around, but the defiant anger in his eyes remains. The Grave Digger stares down at him in return with a malevolent glare.
Brujah: You heard me... you already know my opinion of you. We're going to settle this one of these days, and then I'll finish what I started out there.
The Grave Digger's only response is to ball up his massive fists as he continues to stare down at Brujah, but Brujah still doesn't back down.
Brujah: You just remember that. ... And I'm done for the night. I'm taking the rest of the night off. See you all later.
Brujah turns and walks out of the room, brushing past the Grave Digger as he steps out the door. Rebecca Black steps into the room and immediately sits down on Lorenzo Vasquez's lap, breaking the somewhat tense silence. Lorenzo Vasquez's face lights up in a lustful smile as he begins blatantly fondling Rebecca in front of everybody.
R. Black: Hey, babe. Time for you to go make Ken Collins cry. You're up next.
L. Vasquez: You sure we don't have enough time to slip off into a closet for a few minutes?
R. Black: Not until you take care of this. It's the big submission match, remember? Besides, I always get more turned on when you get all macho and beat some poor guy's ass. And then we've got some time before I'll need to be out there for Troy's match with Sandis...
L. Vasquez: All right... fuck it, let's get this over with. Time to kill that little myth about Ken Collins being some kind of great technicial submission wrestler.
Lorenzo Vasquez and Rebecca Black get up and begin walking out of the dressing room, and Tony Garcia turns to Troy Black.
T. Garcia: I've gotta wonder just a little bit about Brujah. He's got enough guts to be one of us... I just hope he's good enough to back it up.
T. Black: I wouldn't worry about that. But we'll talk about it later.
Troy Black sits back and squeezes up against Amy Lin, putting an arm around her, and Desmond looks around at the others, seeming a little bit nervous.
Desmond: If you need to talk alone, I could take off.
T. Black: No. You don't need to worry about any of this... just don't rock the boat and do what you're told, and it'll all be fine. Tony and I will talk about it later.
Desmond settles back in the chair, not seeming entirely reassured, as the camera fades out on the Black Plague dressing room.
This is getting strange... evidently Troy Black's willing to turn Brujah loose on the Grave Digger after he's filled his role tomorrow night as insurance for Tony Garcia. The Grave Digger could have outlived his usefulness in VCW already... but we don't have time to dwell on that now, because we're going to begin introductions for the next match! "Liquid Mercury" by Jimmy Page begins playing over the arena sound system, and the crowd cheers loudly as "The California Crippler" Ken Collins makes his way out of the backstage area, accompanied by Stacey Lockman. He walks to the ring at a normal pace, then climbs inside and poses on one of the second turnbuckles, getting a loud burst of cheers from the crowd. The look in his eyes shows that he seems to know he's in for a tough match as he looks to the backstage entrance...
And "Kiss My Ass" by Ted Nugent begins blaring over the arena sound system, bringing out "The Barcelona Assassin" Lorenzo Vasquez, along with Rebecca Black. In contrast to Ken Collins, who seems focused on the task at hand, Lorenzo Vasquez seems more inclined to argue with the fans and make jokes with Rebecca on the way to the ring. He finally makes his way in, and smooths his greasy brown hair back, extending the other hand to offer a handshake to Ken Collins... and Ken Collins just slaps his hand away! Lorenzo Vasquez looks around at the crowd with an innocent, shocked expression, as if to say "Can you believe he did that!?" but doesn't get any sympathy... and he turns back around and spits in Ken Collins's face! Ken Collins steps back, wiping his face off, as Lorenzo Vasquez turns to share a laugh with Rebecca Black... and that proves to be a mistake, because Ken Collins nails him from behind! Brendan Powers enters the ring and calls for the bell, and this match is on!
Submission Match:
"The California
Crippler" Ken Collins
w/Stacey Lockman
vs.
"The Barcelona
Assassin" Lorenzo Vasquez
w/Rebecca Black
Ken Collins nails Lorenzo Vasquez from behind, then whirls him around and tosses him into a corner, where he begins opening up on him with a series of punches, chops, and kicks that quickly reduce him to a heap on the mat. Lorenzo Vasquez tries to beg off, but Ken Collins just hauls him to his feet by the hair, then takes him out of the corner with a hair-assisted snapmare. Lorenzo Vasquez crashes to the mat and gets to his feet, but just staggers around aimlessly, turning around to Ken Collins just in time to turn face-first into a dropkick! Lorenzo Vasquez goes down, and he gets up again, only to get taken down again by a second dropkick from Ken Collins! He rolls away and gets up again, but this time Ken Collins moves in and grabs him! Ken Collins whips Lorenzo Vasquez into the ropes... but Lorenzo Vasquez reverses it, but Ken Collins jumps up and springs off of the middle rope instead of running into them, leaping back to take Lorenzo Vasquez down with an Asai moonsault!
This is a submission match, and Ken Collins smartly avoids going for the cover, instead pulling Lorenzo Vasquez up again, and driving him back with a series of right hands that send him reeling. Ken Collins whips Lorenzo Vasquez into the ropes, and aims a clothesline at him as he comes off... but Lorenzo Vasquez ducks under and wraps around into a waistlock, but Ken Collins breaks that with an elbowsmash, then bends down, reaches between his legs to grab Lorenzo Vasquez's foot, and rolls forward holding the foot, taking Lorenzo Vasquez down and coming up behind him holding the foot, in an ankle lock submission!! Lorenzo Vasquez yells out in pain and surprise, and begins scrambling for the ropes... after a few seconds, he reaches them, and Brendan Powers orders a break, then begins counting. Though a submission match normally can't end in disqualification, Brendan Powers makes a good call by enforcing rope breaks here... otherwise the first submission hold of the match would probably be the last, making for a very short match!
Lorenzo Vasquez gets up slowly, and Ken Collins is waiting on him, advancing with a few punches and chops that send him reeling again. Lorenzo Vasquez staggers back a step or two, and Ken Collins gives him a swift kick to his right ankle, the one that was in the ankle lock only seconds earlier! Lorenzo Vasquez yells out in pain and bends down... and Ken Collins continues his assault, kicking him in the ankle relentlessly! Lorenzo Vasquez finally reaches down and grabs his foot on one of the kicks... only to get nailed with an enzuigiri as he looks up! Lorenzo Vasquez goes down, and Ken Collins immediately grabs his right leg and begins dropping elbows into the knee repeatedly! Ken Collins is going after Lorenzo Vasquez's leg, and this might be a smart strategy, given that Lorenzo Vasquez probably expected him to set up the California Crossface.
Lorenzo Vasquez kicks Ken Collins away with his free leg, then pulls himself to his feet, favoring his right leg. Ken Collins advances on him, nailing him with a few punches, then whips him into the ropes. Lorenzo Vasquez hobbles off the other side, and Ken Collins tries to pick him up for a fireman's carry, but as he lifts Lorenzo Vasquez forces him down, wrapping his legs around his arm and locking his hands in front of his face... Lorenzo Vasquez just put the crossface on Ken Collins! Ken Collins seems surprised to be caught in his own hold, but he quickly struggles toward the ropes, pulling himself across the ring furiously, and makes it. Lorenzo Vasquez is forced to break the hold, and Ken Collins begins getting up, but Lorenzo Vasquez catches him with an eye gouge.
A cocky smile returns to Lorenzo Vasquez's face as he grabs Ken Collins's right arm and twists it, then holds it out and begins hammering the upper arm and shoulder with elbowsmashes. Ken Collins twists out of the armwringer and grabs Lorenzo Vasquez's arm, slipping behind him into a wristlock, but Lorenzo Vasquez catches him in the head with a back elbowsmash, then spins around and grabs Ken Collins in a headlock. Ken Collins lifts him for a belly-to-back suplex, but Lorenzo Vasquez shifts his weight and tightens the pressure on the headlock, forcing Ken Collins to set him down and adjust his grip, and Lorenzo Vasquez whips him to the mat with a headlock takedown, keeping the headlock applied! Ken Collins struggles in the headlock, and rolls him onto his back... but this is a submission match, and the fact that Lorenzo Vasquez's shoulders are on the canvas doesn't mean anything!
Lorenzo Vasquez forces himself back into a sitting position, and Ken Collins knows he's not getting out of the headlock that way. He begins fighting his way up to his feet, fighting the pressure of the headlock as the crowd cheers him on, and despite Lorenzo Vasquez's attempts to grind down on the headlock and keep Ken Collins down, he gets to his feet! Ken Collins loosens the headlock with an elbow to Lorenzo's ribs, then lifts him up near the ropes... and brings him down crotch-first on the top rope!! Lorenzo Vasquez yells out in pain as he forcibly straddles the top rope... and Ken Collins steps back a little, then nails him with a dropkick that sends him spilling out to the outside!
Lorenzo Vasquez begins to get up on the outside, and Ken Collins runs into the ropes on the other side, then jumps out at him with a plancha through the second and third ropes... but Lorenzo Vasquez grabs a chair and raises it suddenly to drill Ken Collins in the face as he comes out!! Ken Collins collapses in a heap on the floor, and evidently Brendan Powers is letting that go, since a submission match won't normally end in disqualification! Lorenzo Vasquez nails the fallen form of Ken Collins with several chairshots to the shoulder, softening up his arm, then picks him up by the hair. He takes Ken Collins head-first into the ringpost, then grabs his arm and wraps that forcefully around the ringpost! Ken Collins grimaces in pain and drops to his knees, clutching his wounded arm... and Lorenzo Vasquez limps over to where he dropped the steel chair, and picks it up again! He raises it over his head to nail Ken Collins... and Ken Collins nails him with a punch to the midsection!
Lorenzo Vasquez drops the chair and doubles over, as Ken Collins gets to his feet. Keeping his right arm tucked in at his side, Ken Collins grabs him by the hair with the left arm and rams him head-first into the apron! Lorenzo Vasquez staggers back and goes down, and Ken Collins shakes out his right arm, trying to work through the pain... and he's picking up the steel chair! Lorenzo Vasquez is up... and Ken Collins nails him right in the head with the steel chair! He goes down, and Ken Collins quickly stands over him, then begins repeatedly driving the edge of the chair down into his right knee! Lorenzo Vasquez yells in pain and curls up to clutch his knee, but Ken Collins just lifts him up by the hair and the back of his shirt, and rolls him into the ring and climbs in after him.
Inside the ring, Lorenzo Vasquez begins begging off, but Ken Collins isn't having any of it. He backs him into a corner and nails him with repeated punches to the face, then brings him out and takes him down with a kneebreaker! He grabs his legs and goes for a figure-four leglock, but Lorenzo Vasquez kicks him off, sending him shoulder-first into the ringpost! Lorenzo Vasquez gets up, as Ken Collins staggers out, clutching his shoulder... and Lorenzo Vasquez takes him down with a hiptoss, then quickly flows into a cross armbreaker!! Ken Collins begins struggling and thrashing around desperately trying to break the hold, but they're pretty close to the middle of the ring! He begins frantically trying to pull himself towards the ropes... but he's not making it there that fast, and Lorenzo Vasquez is continuing to increase the pressure in the cross armbreaker! Looking increasingly desperate, Ken Collins pulls himself towards the ropes in a pain-induced frenzy... his fingertips brush the ropes... and he makes it! Brendan Powers orders the release of the cross armbreaker, and when Lorenzo Vasquez refuses to comply, he begins counting, prompting Lorenzo Vasquez to release the hold at the four-count. That may have been four extra seconds that Ken Collins couldn't take!
Lorenzo Vasquez limps for a few paces around the ring, trying to "walk off" the punishment that his knee's been taking, as Ken Collins gets up, clutching his arm in pain. Lorenzo Vasquez grabs Ken Collins and forces him into a corner, then nails him with a hard chop across the chest, drawing a loud round of "whoooo"s from the crowd. Lorenzo Vasquez yells "FLAIR SUCKS!!" at the crowd, then draws back and nails Ken Collins with another chest chop, and this time the crowd's "whoooos" are even louder, just to spite him. He glares at them, then nails Ken Collins with a third chop, rocking him back in the corner!
Lorenzo Vasquez hooks Ken Collins and brings him out in a snap suplex, then begins trying to push him over onto his stomach with his foot... but Ken Collins grabs the foot and pulls him down by it into another ankle lock submission!! This is Lorenzo Vasquez's second time in this hold, and he's enjoying it even less than he did the first time! His right knee and ankle have already been subjected to a lot of abuse, and he's desperate to crawl to the ropes... but Ken Collins just pulls him back to the center of the ring by the ankle! Lorenzo Vasquez couldn't make it to the ropes, and he's trying something new... he fights his way up until he's standing on one foot, then turns to face Ken Collins, who still has his right foot, and leaps up with an enzuigiri, but Ken Collins ducks, still holding the ankle, and reapplies the ankle lock when Lorenzo Vasquez crashes to the mat!! Nothing that Lorenzo Vasquez is trying has enabled him to escape this move... but Rebecca Black just reached in from the outside and grabbed Ken Collins's foot, and she pulls him off to the outside!!
Ken Collins whirls to face Rebecca Black angrily, and she spits in his face, then goes for a slap... and Ken Collins blocks the slap, then knocks her off her feet with a stiff chop to the cleavage revealed by her shirt. He pauses to shake out his arm after that chop... evidently the effort expended with that chop didn't help his condition... and he's climbing back up onto the apron, but Lorenzo Vasquez is up, and he pulls him down throat-first across the top rope! Ken Collins drops to the apron, but Lorenzo Vasquez grabs him and pulls him into the ring, then forces him to his feet and kicks him in the midsection... then hooks him and brings him down in a single-arm DDT, flowing into the Barcelona Armbar!! Lorenzo Vasquez just put Ken Collins in the Barcelona Armbar!!
Ken Collins is somewhat less than halfway across the ring from the ropes, and he has Lorenzo Vasquez's careless ring positioning to thank for that. He's obviously in a great deal of pain... his right arm could quite possibly be seriously injured after all of the abuse it's taken... but he's still not giving up!! He could be risking serious injury, but somehow he's still in this match, fighting his way to the ropes! Lorenzo Vasquez keeps leaning back, applying pressure to the elbow and shoulder, but Ken Collins is determined to make it to the ropes! He's struggling, making his way there inch by inch... and he's close, but it's also clear that his arm's close to giving out! He lunges for the ropes again, and his fingers brush up against them! That may have been his last burst of energy... but he manages a feeble slither towards the ropes, and reaches out... and he grabs the ropes!! Somehow, Ken Collins made it to the ropes, and now Lorenzo Vasquez has to break the hold! Brendan Powers counts again, and once again Lorenzo Vasquez rides it out until the four-count, taking as much time as he can.
Lorenzo Vasquez gets up, and he looks a little desperate now. He scoops Ken Collins up and brings him down with a bodyslam, and now he's going up to the top turnbuckle... this isn't exactly typical Lorenzo Vasquez offense, but he's going up top, a little slowly thanks to his injured leg... and Ken Collins is up behind him! Lorenzo Vasquez gets to the top, and starts to turn around to face Ken Collins, but Ken Collins nails him from behind, and Lorenzo Vasquez falls crotch-first across the top rope, facing the audience! And now Ken Collins is climbing up with him. He nails him with a few punches to the side of the head, though each one makes him wince from the pain in his arm... and now he's putting on a waistlock! The crowd goes to its feet... TOP-ROPE RELEASE GERMAN SUPLEX!! Lorenzo Vasquez lands on the back of his head and neck on the mat, bounces up, and flops down on his face, twitching slightly... but Ken Collins is down as well, clutching his arm! That move may have taken quite a bit out of him as well.
Both men stay down for a good six seconds, but then Ken Collins makes it back to his feet. Lorenzo Vasquez barely manages to pull himself up, and Ken Collins puts him in a standing headscissors... PILEDRIVER!! He's not going to get a submission like that, though... if he knocks Lorenzo Vasquez out, he won't even be conscious to submit! But now he's dragging him to the center of the ring, and he steps around his legs and puts on a figure-four leglock!! Ken Collins has Lorenzo Vasquez in a figure-four leglock, and Lorenzo Vasquez is nowhere close to the ropes!! Lorenzo Vasquez tries to fight the hold, trying to turn it over... but Ken Collins is fighting back! Lorenzo Vasquez is slowly making progress, turning the hold, but Ken Collins is still fighting... Lorenzo turns it!! He just turned the figure-four over... and Ken Collins turns it right back the other way!!
Lorenzo Vasquez grimaces in pain and frustration, and almost seems ready to tap out... but he shakes his head "no" and begins trying to drag himself to the ropes! He's starting to make progress... but Stacey Lockman reaches in and grabs Ken Collins's wrists, drawing a pop from the crowd! Stacey's surely seen her father, the legendary Jimmy Lockman, use this sort of trick to win matches... and after Rebecca Black's earlier interference, what goes around has just come around! Lorenzo Vasquez is immobilized in the middle of the ring... but Rebecca Black yells to Brendan Powers to look at Stacey! But before Brendan Powers turns around, Stacey Lockman releases Ken Collins's wrists, denying the accusations with an innocent smile... only to grab his wrists again when Brendan Powers turns around to check on Lorenzo Vasquez, who can't possibly hold out much longer!
But now Rebecca Black's coming around to the other side of the ring... and she has a chair! She nails Stacey Lockman with a chairshot, knocking her to the mat! Rebecca raises the chair again, and nails Stacey with a second blow from the chair... and Ken Collins releases the figure-four, turning around to face Rebecca, warning her to leave Stacey alone... and Rebecca Black nails him in the head with the chair as well! Ken Collins staggers back, holding his head... but Lorenzo Vasquez is up behind him, and he hooks him from behind, bracing himself with his good leg... TIGER SUPLEX!! Lorenzo Vasquez just took Ken Collins down, and now he's pulling himself up on his good leg... but had Rebecca Black not intervened, it looked like this match was all but over!
Ken Collins is down... and Rebecca Black just rolled Stacey Lockman into the ring! What the hell's she doing!? An evil smile of understanding crosses Lorenzo Vasquez's face... and he pulls Stacey Lockman up, then muscles her into position for the Destiny Driver!! Brendan Powers begins uselessly pleading with Lorenzo Vasquez not to do it, but gets only a contempt-filled laugh from Lorenzo Vasquez. Ken Collins looks up as he tries to pull himself to his feet... and Lorenzo looks him in the eye and yells "TAP OUT OR I BREAK HER FUCKING NECK!!" The crowd boos, and Ken Collins starts to ball up his fists and rise to his feet... but there's no way he can make it in time to stop a Destiny Driver, and he seems to realize that, because he slumps forward and taps the mat three times, signalling a submission! The crowd erupts into boos, and Lorenzo Vasquez just robbed Ken Collins!
Submission
Match:
Lorenzo Vasquez defeated Ken Collins via submission in 0:21:43.
Rating: *** 1/4
Ken Collins looks up at Lorenzo Vasquez, demanding that he release Stacey now, and Lorenzo Vasquez just smiles cruelly... DESTINY DRIVER!! That sick son of a bitch!! The crowd erupts into a huge round of boos, and for good reason... Lorenzo Vasquez just assaulted a hundred and twenty pound young woman with the most dangerous move in VCW! That was the move that nearly broke Troy Black's neck... that was the move that put Chris Champlain and Tony Garcia on the shelf for months on end... and Lorenzo Vasquez just nailed Stacey Lockman with it!! A sadistic smile crosses his face again as he pulls himself to his feet... but the color just drained from Ken Collins's face across the ring... and he rushes Lorenzo Vasquez, bringing him down in a double-leg takedown, then immediately puts on a scorpion deathlock!! Lorenzo Vasquez cries out in pain again as Ken Collins begins leaning back on the scorpion deathlock, but he's not letting go... a vicious snarl is etched across his face as he leans back on the hold, putting more pressure on Lorenzo Vasquez!
Lorenzo Vasquez grabs the ropes, then tries tapping out, but neither of those are going to get Ken Collins to release the scorpion deathlock, nor are the pleas of Brendan Powers! Finally, Rebecca Black slides halfway into the ring, heading for the fallen body of Stacey Lockman... and Ken Collins releases the hold to chase her away, enabling Lorenzo Vasquez to scramble to the outside. Ken Collins kneels at Stacey Lockman's side, allowing Rebecca Black and Lorenzo Vasquez to retreat backstage, but he's watching them leave with a furious, intense glare. Lorenzo Vasquez may have earned himself more than he bargained for with that Destiny Driver... one look in Ken Collins's eyes is all you need to tell that this won't be forgotten or forgiven.
Stacey Lockman's still not moving... she could be seriously, seriously injured after the Destiny Driver. It'd be rather surprising if she wasn't, given the past history of the Destiny Driver... and a medical team's coming out. Ken Collins, Brendan Powers, and the crowd watch in near silence as Stacey Lockman is put in a neckbrace and loaded onto a stretcher, then carried backstage, with Ken Collins following at the side. Lorenzo Vasquez is known for being disrespectful, crude, and violent, but what he did tonight surpasses anything he's done before. But knowing Ken Collins, he'll have to answer for this soon, and when he does, he'd better hope that Ken Collins has a little more mercy in him than Lorenzo Vasquez himself did tonight.
We're going to go ahead and go on with the show... and "Kashmir" by Led Zeppelin begins playing, bringing out Jacob Idol and Rob Solomon of the Hammer of the Gods, along with Jasmina Chastity. As usual, Rob Solomon's carrying his hockey stick to the ring, no doubt hoping to make illegal use of it in this match. The crowd boos as they walk down the aisle slowly, then climb into the ring. Jacob Idol's face bears a look of bitter, focused malice, while Rob Solomon seems more loosened up and ready for a fight... and he's calling for a microphone! Rob Solomon gets a microphone, and a nasty smile crosses his face as he raises it to speak...
R. Solomon: Hey, Brujah... you better watch your back, because I'm gonna kill you for stealing my woman like that...
Rob Solomon trails off, chuckling to himself and shaking his head.
R. Solomon: I'm sorry... I just can't do this anymore with a straight face. It was fun while it lasted. So look on the bright side, guys... your little bimbo didn't run off with me, she ran off with some Eurotrash punk from SMCW. Big improvement, huh? In any casethis time, when you get backstage and start bitching and whining about how the Hammer of the Gods just took their titles back, and Tim Bell's bitching and whining about how he's still a boring, washed-up, overrated has-been who couldn't get laid in a Havana whorehouse with a fist full of twenty dollar bills... this time, Jennie won't be there to kiss your boo-boos and tell you it's all right. So come on down, boys... you dug your grave, and it's too late to chicken out now.
The crowd boos... but now "Until It Sleeps" by Metallica begins playing, and that brings out Owen Addison and Paul Canyon, the Ontario Colour Show, the VCW World Tag Team Champions, to a loud roar of cheers from the crowd! Rob Solomon rolls his shoulders and cracks his knuckles as he watches their entrance, but Jacob Idol's face still has a bitter, malicious glare that focuses on Owen Addison, despite Jasmina Chastity's attempt to speak to him before the match. Owen Addison immediately begins sprinting to the ring, and after a moment's hesitation, Paul Canyon follows suit, running to the ring and sliding inside behind Owen! Rob Solomon immediately backs into the corner and steps out to the apron rather than face Owen Addison's wrath, and that leaves Jacob Idol to start out against Owen Addison as Linda Peterson calls for the bell!
For the VCW World Tag Team Titles:
Ontario Colour Show (c)
vs.
Hammer of the Gods
(Jacob Idol & Rob Solomon)
w/Jasmina Chastity
Jacob Idol cautiously moves in on Owen Addison to lock up... and catches him with an eye gouge immediately rather than go for the lockup! Owen Addison staggers back, clutching his eyes, and Jacob Idol begins nailing him with repeated right hands to the face, backing him into a corner, then doubles him over with a kneelift. Jacob Idol brings Owen Addison out of the corner by the arm, then twists it and holds it out at Owen's side and drives an elbow into the upper arm and shoulder repeatedly! This is more like the Jacob Idol that we've come to know in the past, focusing on Owen Addison's right shoulder, which sustained a nasty rotator cuff injury a few years ago... but could the brawling tactics in the beginning be a sign that he doubts his ability to beat Owen in a straight wrestling match? Maybe... and maybe those doubts are well-founded, because Owen Addison twists out of the armwringer, then grabs Jacob Idol's arm and whips him to the ropes... no, Jacob Idol reverses, but Owen Addison slips behind him into a waistlock instead! But Jacob Idol breaks the waistlock with an elbowsmash, then rolls forward, hooking his legs under Owen's armpits to bring him down in a rolling cradle! Linda Peterson goes down to count... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... Kickout at two by Owen Addison!
Immediately after Owen's kickout, Jacob Idol pops up and pauses to gloat about winning that exchange... but that turns out to be a mistake, because when he turns around, Owen Addison's up, and he nails him with an eye gouge of his own! Jacob Idol steps back, but Owen Addison advances and forces a lockup, then takes control with a headlock takedown into a side headlock. Jacob Idol struggles for a few seconds, then forces his way back to his feet... and he lifts Owen Addison, planning to counter with a belly-to-back suplex, but Owen Addison flips out behind him, nails him with a blow to the back of the neck, then grabs him and puts on the side headlock again! Jacob Idol backs him into the ropes, then shoots him off to the other side. Jacob Idol goes for a running kneelift as Owen Addison comes off the other side, but Owen catches him and lifts him up by the knee, then falls back, dropping him throat-first across the top rope!
Jacob Idol flops down on the mat, and Owen Addison quickly grabs him by the hair as he starts to get up, then brings him down with a reverse neckbreaker. He makes the tag to Paul Canyon and hooks Jacob Idol in a front chancery, then brings him down with a vertical suplex and rolls out of the way as Paul Canyon leaps up onto the top rope, then leaps off onto Jacob Idol with a springboard elbowdrop! He covers and hooks a leg, and Linda Peterson goes down to count... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... Kickout at two and a half by Jacob Idol! It'll take more than that to win this match, and nobody seems surprised that Jacob Idol still has plenty left.
Paul Canyon pulls Jacob Idol to his feet and gives him an inverted atomic drop, then runs into the ropes as Jacob Idol staggers back, and knocks him off his feet with a leg lariat! Jacob Idol gets to his feet again, but Paul Canyon hooks him and takes him over in a vertical suplex... no, Jacob Idol slips out behind him, and tries to pull his head back for an inverted DDT, but Paul Canyon catches him with an elbow to the ribs, then reaches back, grabs his head, and goes for an Ace Crusher, but Jacob Idol shoves him forward! Paul Canyon turns around, but walks right into a drop-toe hold from Jacob Idol, who quickly flows over into an armbar submission! Paul Canyon quickly scrambles to the ropes, reaching them after a few seconds and grabbing the bottom rope.
Linda Peterson forces the hold to be broken, but Jacob Idol grabs Paul Canyon's arm and twists it as he gets up, then holds it and tags in Rob Solomon. Rob Solomon comes in doubles, Paul Canyon over with a kick to the midsection, and aims several well-placed kicks into Paul Canyon's arm as Jacob Idol holds the arm out at his side. Jacob Idol releases the arm and steps outside, and Rob Solomon grabs Paul Canyon by the hair, then flips him down onto his tailbone with a snap mare, and kicks him in the base of the spine for spite. Paul Canyon falls backwards, then begins trying to get up... and Rob Solomon pulls him to his feet, then whips him into a corner and begins unloading on him with a series of kicks to the midsection and head!
Paul Canyon slumps in the corner from the flurry of abuse, and Rob Solomon whips him to the opposite corner, sending him crashing back-first into the turnbuckles. Paul Canyon staggers out, and Rob Solomon rushes at him with a lariat, but Paul Canyon ducks, then goes for a savate kick as Rob Solomon turns around, but Rob Solomon catches his foot... but Paul Canyon jumps up and nails him with an enzuigiri! Paul Canyon's up again, and he goes to his corner, and makes the tag to Owen Addison. Owen comes in and puts Rob Solomon on one of the top turnbuckles, then gets on his hands and knees a few feet away... and Paul Canyon runs forward, springs off Owen's back, and dropkicks Rob Solomon square in the face, knocking him back off of the top turnbuckle to the floor below!! The crowd cheers, but the Ontario Colour Show might not be done just yet... Owen Addison's climbing up on the top turnbuckle as Rob Solomon gets up... and he leaps out onto him with a flying clothesline that knocks him off his feet!!
Both Owen Addison and Rob Solomon are down on the outside, and Paul Canyon's going up to the top turnbuckle as well. Owen Addison starts to pull Rob Solomon to his feet in preparation for Paul Canyon to take him out... but Jacob Idol comes from behind and grabs Paul Canyon's ankle, causing him to fall crotch-first on the top turnbuckle, facing the crowd! Jacob Idol's going up after him now... and Owen Addison jumps up on the apron to stop him, but Rob Solomon grabs him by the foot and pulls him off, then takes him head-first into the ringsteps! Jacob Idol's on the top turnbuckle now, behind Paul Canyon, and he puts on an inverted facelock from behind... IDOLIZER!! Jacob Idol just hit Paul Canyon with the Idolizer, the top-rope inverted DDT that he's been known to finish opponents with occasionally... and Paul Canyon is LAID OUT in the middle of the ring!
Jacob Idol pulls Paul Canyon up again, and gives him a piledriver for good measure, then chucks him to the outside and returns to his corner as Rob Solomon rolls Owen Addison back into the ring. Owen Addison starts to get up, but Rob Solomon pelts him with a few stiff kicks that drive him back into the corner, then gives him a kneelift and hooks him in a front chancery, bringing him out with a snap suplex! He floats across for the cover, and Linda Peterson goes down to count... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... Shoulder up at two and a half by Owen Addison! Rob Solomon gets up again and drops a knee on Owen Addison's right shoulder, then pulls him up and tags in Jacob Idol. Rob Solomon grabs Owen Addison from behind and lifts him for a belly-to-back suplex, and Jacob Idol goes behind him and grabs Owen's head in a reverse neckbreaker position... and they both drop simultaneously, executing both moves simultaneously! Jacob Idol covers Owen Addison, and Linda Peterson goes down to count again... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... THR... Kickout at two and three-quarters!
Jacob Idol briefly disputes the count, then drives his knee into Owen Addison's right shoulder repeatedly, causing Owen to grimace and yell out in pain with each impact. Continuing the focused assault, Jacob Idol scoops Owen Addison up across a shoulder, going for a shoulderbreaker, but Owen Addison slides down his back! Jacob Idol turns around quickly, but Owen Addison nails him with a kneelift to the gut, then whips him into the ropes and runs into the other side, and takes him down with a cross bodypress in the middle of the ring! Owen Addison hooks a leg, and Linda Peterson goes down to count... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... Kickout at two and a half!
But now Owen Addison gets up again, and looks to his corner... only to see that Paul Canyon's barely even conscious, kneeling on the apron and leaning against the ropes, after being taken out by the Idolizer earlier. Instead of making the tag, he turns and attacks Jacob Idol with a kick to the midsection, then hooks him in a front chancery and lifts him... BRAIN BUSTER!! Owen Addison covers and hooks a leg, and Linda Peterson goes to count... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... Rob Solomon comes in and breaks the pin with an elbowdrop at two and a half! Owen Addison was trying to put Jacob Idol away before the two-on-one odds became too insurmountable, but Rob Solomon put a quick stop to that.
Owen Addison's getting up again, but so's Jacob Idol... and Jacob Idol catches Owen with an eye gouge before he can try to regain the advantage, then nails him with a swift kick to the midsection and slips behind him, then takes him down with a belly-to-back suplex! He rolls with the move and comes up holding Owen from behind as if to execute the move again, but instead he releases the hold and pulls him back by the hair into an inverted DDT!! The back of Owen Addison's skull just crashed into the mat, and Jacob Idol makes the cover, as Linda Peterson counts... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... THR... Kickout at two and three-quarters! Once again, Jacob Idol seems less than pleased with the count, but he doesn't hesitate long. He scoops Owen Addison up again... and this time he's able to hit him with the shoulderbreaker! Owen must have been too dazed from the punishment he's taken to counter it that time... and now Jacob Idol turns him over and slaps on an armbar submission!
The crowd erupts into boos, and Owen Addison yells out in pain as Jacob Idol leans back on the armbar submission, putting more pressure on the shoulder. He wants nothing more than to make Owen Addison submit here... these two have been rivals for a couple of years now, before the Hammer of the Gods was even formed, and to hear his bitter adversary admit defeat would no doubt be the greatest sort of victory possible for Jacob Idol. But Owen Addison's not giving up easily... he's struggling and fighting his way towards the ropes, in spite of the pressure that Jacob Idol's putting on his right shoulder! He's fighting for every inch, slowly making his way to the ropes... and he finally gets there! He grabs the bottom rope, and Jacob Idol is forced to release the hold!
Angered by his inability to make Owen Addison submit, Jacob Idol stomps and kicks at him as he tries to pull himself to his feet, then pulls him into a standing headscissors. He lifts, perhaps for a piledriver or a power bomb, but Owen Addison struggles against him, shifting his weight, and blocks it... and then he counters with a backdrop that sends Jacob Idol crashing to the mat! Jacob Idol gets up again and charges with a clothesline, but Owen Addison ducks and wraps around behind him, then takes him down with a release German suplex! He looks to his corner, and sees that Paul Canyon still seems a little out of it after taking the Idolizer, then turns back to Jacob Idol, rolling his shoulder to try to work the pain out of it.
Jacob Idol gets up again, and Owen Addison goes behind him again, then brings him down with a belly-to-back suplex... but he rolls through, holding onto Jacob Idol, and gets to his feet, then brings him down with a second belly-to-back suplex! He rolls to his feet again, and shifts his grip, wincing in pain from his shoulder as he lifts Jacob Idol a third time... this time, into a BACKDROP DRIVER!! Jacob Idol's down, and Owen Addison goes for the pin... but Jasmina Chastity has Linda Peterson distracted, complaining about Owen Addison pulling the tights on those suplexes or some such nonsense, and Rob Solomon comes in and kicks Owen Addison square in the head as he looks up to see where Linda Peterson is! Owen Addison goes down, and Rob Solomon drags Jacob Idol to his corner, then tags himself in as Linda Peterson turns around.
Owen Addison begins getting up again, but it's obvious the abuse has taken its toll on him... he's moving slowly, and his right arm looks a little limp at his side. Rob Solomon meets him on the way up with a kick that connects with Owen's right shoulder, drawing a grimace of pain from him, then spins around and catches him with a spin kick to the face that takes him down. Once again, Owen Addison begins getting up... but Rob Solomon nails him with a kick to the midsection this time, and grabs his hair... sitdown faceslam!! Rob Solomon rolls Owen Addison over, and hooks a leg, and Linda Peterson makes the count... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... THR... Kickout at two and three-quarters! Rob Solomon just nods grimly, then picks Owen Addison up from behind and pulls his arms across his chest... STRAIGHTJACKET SUPLEX! He holds the bridge, and Linda Peterson counts again... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... THR... Kickout at two and three-quarters again! Owen Addison's still in this match!
Rob Solomon gets up again, and stands back, carefully measuring Owen Addison, and rolling his right shoulder as if readying his arm. Owen Addison gets up... and Rob Solomon charges forward with a massive lariat, but Owen Addison ducks! Rob Solomon turns around... and Owen Addison catches him with a kick to the midsection, then a jawbreaker! Rob Solomon goes down, but Owen Addison slumps against the ropes as well, leaning on them for support! On the apron, Paul Canyon shakes his head, then forces himself to stand up straight... and he's asking for the tag! He may have finally recovered enough from the Idolizer to come back into this match... and Owen Addison makes the tag, to a loud burst of cheers from the crowd!
Rob Solomon gets up and rushes Paul Canyon as he enters the ring, but takes a dropkick that sends him back down! Jacob Idol comes in as well, but he seems almost as groggy as Paul Canyon after the backdrop driver earlier, and Paul Canyon's able to duck a clothesline from him, then take him off his feet with a savate kick when he turns around! Paul Canyon advances on Rob Solomon as he gets up, still not moving with his normal speed and intensity, and he begins hammering Rob Solomon with a series of punches that back him into the corner. He nails Rob Solomon with a kick to the midsection, then puts him in a standing headscissors... PILEDRIVER! Rob Solomon's down, and Jacob Idol's brawling with Owen Addison on the outside, too busy to enter the ring again and help!
Paul Canyon goes up to the top turnbuckle, looking for the Magic Carpet Ride... but on the outside of the ring, Jasmina Chastity just nailed Owen Addison from behind with a low blow, allowing Jacob Idol to jump up on the apron and shove Paul Canyon off the top turnbuckle! He crash-lands on the mat, and Rob Solomon's getting up... but someone's coming out of the backstage area! IT'S JENNIE!! She's not even supposed to be here! Owen Addison had forbidden her from coming to ringside during matches involving the Technicians... but at ringside, Jasmina Chastity has Rob Solomon's hockey stick, and she raises it to nail Owen Addison as he gets up! Jennie rushes from behind and grabs it out of her hands, then nails her with it when she turns around! Jasmina Chastity goes down, to a burst of cheers from the crowd... and on the inside of the ring, Paul Canyon just took Rob Solomon down with a dragon screw leg whip after catching a kick! Rob Solomon gets up again and charges with a lariat, but Paul Canyon ducks under that, and takes him down with a release German suplex!
Rob Solomon's down, and once again, Paul Canyon turns to go to the top rope... and he notices Jennie on the outside! He stops and stares out at her for a second, as if wondering if he's seeing correctly through the remaining cobwebs in his head... he doesn't seem to understand what she's doing here, holding Rob Solomon's hockey stick! He's asking her something, probably wondering what she's doing here, and Jennie's attempts to tell him to turn around and get back to the match fall on deaf ears, as Rob Solomon gets up behind him! Owen Addison and Jacob Idol are involved in a heated brawl in the outside, and Rob Solomon's up behind Paul Canyon... and finally, it seems to dawn on him that Jennie's telling him to turn around, and he does... RIGHT INTO A LARIAT!! Rob Solomon nearly tore Paul Canyon's head off with that lariat!! He turns him over onto his back, and climbs to the top turnbuckle... KATANA LEGDROP!! He covers Paul Canyon and hooks a leg, and Linda Peterson counts... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... THRE... Owen Addison reaches in and pulls Rob Solomon off just before three!
Owen Addison begins opening up on Rob Solomon on the outside, drilling him with repeated right hands... but Jacob Idol comes and clobbers him from behind, then takes him head-first into the steel ringpost! The odds are just too great for Owen Addison to turn the tide, and now Rob Solomon shakes off the abuse and slides back into the ring. Paul Canyon's trying desperately to pull himself to his feet, but he's almost gone already... and Rob Solomon pulls him up into a front chancery, then hooks a leg... FISHERMAN BUSTER!! He holds the bridge, and Linda Peterson goes down to count... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... THREE!! The Hammer of the Gods wins this one!
The
Hammer of the Gods (Jacob Idol and Rob Solomon) defeated The
Ontario Colour Show when Solomon pinned P. Canyon after a
fisherman buster in 0:22:57.
Rating: *** 1/4
(The Hammer of the Gods won the VCW World Tag Team Titles.)
The crowd explodes into boos as Jacob Idol snatches the VCW World Tag Team Titles up from the timekeeper's table, then climbs into the ring with one belt in each hand, jumping up and down and cheering loudly. Rob Solomon gets up, shaking off the abuse that he's taken, and raises his hands in victory as well, accepting one of the VCW World Tag Team Title belts from Jacob Idol and strapping it on. Jasmina Chastity climbs into the ring, as Rob Solomon chucks the fallen carcass of Paul Canyon aside, and Jacob Idol embraces Jasmina in the middle of the ring, drawing another round of boos from the crowd.
Meanwhile, on the outside of the ring, Owen Addison's coming to his senses... and he sees Jennie kneeling at Paul Canyon's side, checking on him! The celebration's continuing in the ring, but on the outside, Owen Addison hauls Jennie up to her feet, and begins yelling at her! He's blaming her for costing the Ontario Colour Show the titles, and that's an arguable point... while she did unintentionally draw Paul Canyon's attention away from the match, she also neutralized Jasmina Chastity's attempt at illegal interference! Jennie's protesting her innocence as she backs up, heading up the ramp, and Owen reaches out and grabs her firmly by the shoulder, continuing to shout accusations at her! She tries to struggle free, then yells for Owen Addison to let her go... and Owen Addison draws back an open hand! Jennie cringes in anticipation of being slapped, but Paul Canyon grabs his hand from behind!
Owen Addison releases Jennie, who quickly retreats up the ramp, and turns to face Paul Canyon... and now the two of them are arguing as well! For now, things seem to be staying reasonable, as they begin heading up the ramp, still arguing... but it looks clear that Owen Addison's not satisfied with this loss. Perhaps he blames Jennie for it, and perhaps he blames Paul Canyon... and a case could be made that either or both of those two did things in this match that resulted in the Ontario Colour Show losing the titles tonight. But in spite of that, will the Ontario Colour Show be able to put it behind them and regain the titles? The celebration in the ring's finally wrapping up, and Jacob Idol, Rob Solomon, and Jasmina Chastity begin heading backstage as well, pleased with their victory tonight... but only time will tell if this is, in fact, the definitive battle between these two teams.
We're moving ahead now into our next match... "Kashmir" by Led Zeppelin re-starts on the sound system, and Julian Page steps out of the backstage area to a chorus of boos, meeting Jacob Idol and Rob Solomon in the aisle. After pausing to congratulate Jacob Idol and Rob Solomon, Julian Page continues heading to the ring, stopping occasionally to insult an especially obnoxious fan or two. He enters the ring and runs his fingers through his hair, then climbs to the top rope and poses with his hands raised in the air, getting more boos from the crowd as a result. He'll be facing Crimson and Johnny Smiles for the VCW Intercontinenral Title, but so far, Julian Page looks pretty confident...
"Walk" by Pantera suddenly begins blaring over the arena sound system, and suddenly Julian Page looks a lot less confident as Crimson steps out of the backstage area! The crowd's boos continue as Crimson smiles and points into the ring at Julian Page, saying something the cameras don't hear, then charges to the ring and slides inside! Julian Page throws a punch, but Crimson absorbs it and grabs Julian Page, then whips him into the ropes, and nearly decapitates him with a big boot when he comes off the other side! Julian Page is down, and Crimson picks him up by the throat... CHOKESLAM!! Crimson just laid out Julian Page during his entrance, and now he's putting a boot on his chest, but Jerry Rogers reminds him that he can't make the pin until the match begins...
"Degenerated" by the Lone Rangers begins playing over the arena sound system, and here comes the VCW Intercontinental Champion, Johnny Smiles! The crowd bursts into deafening cheers, and Johnny Smiles charges to the ring, then slides inside and takes off the VCW Intercontinental Title... and he rushes Crimson and nails him square in the forehead with the title belt! Crimson goes down, and Johnny slides the belt out of the ring as Jerry Rogers calls for the bell to begin the match!
For the VCW Intercontinental Title:
Johnny Smiles (c)
vs.
Crimson
vs.
Julian Page
Crimson's down, and Julian Page is still laid out from the Chokeslam... and Johnny Smiles is covering Julian Page immediately! Jerry Rogers goes down to count... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... Crimson sits up and pulls Johnny Smiles off of Julian Page just before three! Had he been a fraction of a second later, Johnny would have just defended the title in record time! Crimson grabs Johnny and pulls him into a short clothesline, sending him crashing to the mat... and now he drops and covers Julian Page! Jerry Rogers counts again... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... Johnny Smiles gets up and hauls Crimson off of Julian Page at two and a half! Crimson takes a swing at Johnny, but Johnny ducks, then pivots and nails him with a savate kick! Crimson staggers back and falls through the ropes to the floor! And now Johnny Smiles is covering Julian Page again... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... Crimson reaches in and pulls Johnny Smiles to the outside by his foot before three!!
Johnny Smiles squirms free on the outside and tries nailing Crimson with a few punches, but Crimson just ignores them and carelessly cuffs Johnny on the side of the head, sending him sprawling to the floor. Johnny Smiles gets up... and Crimson charges him, and mows him down with a clothesline! He's down again, and Crimson pulls himself up to the apron, then steps over the top rope into the ring. He grabs Julian Page's limp carcass and drags it to the middle of the ring, then goes for the cover. Jerry Rogers counts again... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... THR... Shoulder up at two and three-quarters!! When Crimson and Johnny Smiles were fighting over the pin, Julian Page must have had enough time to recover from the Chokeslam, and now he's not done yet! Crimson grimaces and grabs a handful of his curly blond hair, then begins to haul him up... but Julian Page catches Crimson with a low blow! Crimson doubles over... and Julian Page grabs his head, then gives him a jawbreaker that takes him down!
Julian Page gets to his feet and staggers around briefly, then shakes his head, trying to recover from being stunned by the Chokeslam. Crimson's getting up again, and Julian Page quickly gives him an eye gouge that stuns him briefly, then grabs one of his massive legs, and takes him down with a kneebreaker! Crimson's down, and Julian Page grabs his leg, then begins dropping elbows into it. Johnny Smiles climbs back into the ring, and Julian Page sees him... then points to himself and Johnny, before pointing down to Crimson... he's offering to team up with Johnny to take Crimson down! This might not be a good idea, given what happened at the Big Fight... but Johnny's still seeming to accept it! They each grab one of Crimson's legs, and together they turn him over... into a double half Boston crab! Each man has one of Crimson's legs in a half Boston, and Jerry Rogers isn't sure quite what to do... even if Crimson gives up, he can't award a submission victory to both men in this match! But it may be a moot point... Crimson's showing no signs of giving up, instead quickly, angrily dragging himself to the ropes and grabbing them, forcing a break of the hold.
Crimson's getting up again now, and he seems pretty angry, but Julian Page and Johnny Smiles just confer briefly, then haul him up and whip him into the ropes. They run at him with a double clothesline as he comes off the other side... but Crimson just runs through their arms like a paper ribbon, then bounces off the other side and uses both arms to nail each of them with clotheslines of his own! Julian Page and Johnny Smiles are down, and Crimson hauls them both up by the throats... he's going for a double Chokeslam! But Johnny and Julian just exchange a glance, and each kick Crimson in the kneecap, causing him to flinch and break his grip... and they each grab him by the throat! DOUBLE CHOKESLAM ON CRIMSON!! Johnny Smiles and Julian Page just drilled Crimson to the mat with a double chokeslam of their own, and Johnny Smiles goes for the cover! Jerry Rogers counts... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... Kickout with authority at two!! Crimson's just mad, and he's starting to sit up... but Julian Page knees him in the face, then drops to make the cover himself! Jerry Rogers counts again... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... And again, Crimson makes a powerful kickout at two!!
Johnny Smiles and Julian Page both pick Crimson up again, and hook him in a double front chancery... they're going for a double vertical suplex, but Crimson blocks it! He plants his feet and lifts... and Crimson suplexes both Julian Page and Johnny Smiles at the same time!! Crimson grabs Julian Page and whips him into the turnbuckle, then hauls Johnny Smiles to his feet and whips him into the opposite turnbuckle! What's he doing? He charges Julian Page... and nails him with an avalanche in the corner! And now he turns around... and he nails Johnny Smiles with an avalanche in the corner! He turns again, and charges Julian Page... and he nails him with a second avalanche! And he turns and charges Johnny Smiles... but Johnny moves out of the way, and Crimson collides with the turnbuckles! He staggers out... and Johnny Smiles whips him towards Julian Page... but Julian Page gets his feet up! Crimson runs face-first into Julian Page's feet, and he staggers back... and Johnny Smiles rolls him up from behind! Jerry Rogers counts... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... And again, Crimson kicks out forcefully at two!!
Crimson's getting up again... but Julian Page rushes him and nails him square in the chest with a leg lariat! Crimson turns and staggers... right into a dropkick to the chest from Johnny! He turns and staggers from that again... and this time, Julian Page runs into the ropes and nails him with a diving shoulderblock! Julian Page bounces off of Crimson's massive frame, but sends him staggering again... and Johnny Smiles runs into the ropes now, taking Crimson down with a jumping clothesline as he stumbles forward again! They pull Crimson up, and lean him against the ropes, then measure him... and they nail him with a double dropkick that sends him spilling out over the top turnbuckle! Johnny Smiles and Julian Page both turn around and pose for the crowd, and the crowd's cheering them loudly!! They turn to each other again, and Julian Page motions to the far side, then points at Crimson as he starts to pull himself up on the outside... and he kicks Johnny in the midsection!! DDT!! Julian Page just double-crossed Johnny Smiles after helping him fight Crimson for several minutes! He covers him, and hooks a leg with one hand and Johnny's tights with the other, as Jerry Rogers counts... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... THR... Kickout!! Johnny Smiles kicked out at two and three-quarters, and Julian Page isn't happy! He holds up three fingers to Jerry Rogers, frantically yelling at him... but Jerry Rogers still says it was two!
Julian Page is pulling Johnny Smiles to his feet again... but behind him, Crimson just stepped up on the apron and stepped over the top rope again! Julian Page pulls Johnny Smiles into a standing headscissors, and hooks his arms... but Crimson grabs Julian Page from behind, and hooks HIS arms in a full nelson, then lifts him and starts shaking him wildly! Julian Page is being shaken apart in Crimson's grasp... and almost mercifully, Crimson drives him down hard to the mat with a full nelson slam! Johnny Smiles looks up... but Crimson slugs him with a massive fist to the gut, then grabs him and takes him down with a massive gutwrench suplex! The crowd boos as Crimson stands up and looks at his fallen victims, admiring his handiwork... then picks up Johnny Smiles and tosses him to the outside! Johnny Smiles starts to get up on the outside... and Crimson picks up Julian Page, then lifts him in a Gorilla Press and tosses him out onto Johnny Smiles!!
Crimson steps out of the ring and hauls Julian Page to his feet, then takes him head-first into the steel ringpost, busting him open. Johnny Smiles is starting to get up too, and Crimson lifts him in a Gorilla Press now... and he drops him throat-first across the guardrail! Both men are down... and Crimson reaches under the ring and pulls out a table! He sets up the table, and pulls Johnny Smiles up, then places him on the table... and now he pulls Julian Page up to the apron, and climbs up with him! He lifts Julian Page by the throat... AND CHOKESLAMS HIM THROUGH THE TABLE, FROM THE APRON!! Johnny Smiles and Julian Page are both down, in the wreckage of the table, and Crimson stands over the whole display of carnage, then lets out a triumphant bellow, raising his fists over his head as the crowd boos!
Ignoring the bleeding, tattered wreck on Julian Page, Crimson pulls Johnny Smiles up and rolls him into the ring, then climbs in after him. Crimson hauls Johnny Smiles to his feet, and whips him into the ropes... and NAILS him with a massive boot to the head! Johnny Smiles is down, and Crimson just hauls him up into a standing headscissors... he's going to try to wipe Johnny Smiles out here! He lifts him... and gives him a massive POWER BOMB!! That, right there, should do it... but Crimson's not done yet! He's signalling for the Chokeslam, and the crowd gives him a huge round of boos! He pulls Johnny Smiles up by the throat... but Julian Page just crawled back into the ring behind him! Crimson lifts Johnny Smiles... and Julian Page comes from behind and nails him with a low blow! Crimson drops Johnny Smiles and doubles over, and Julian Page puts him in a standing headscissors... DOUBLE UNDERHOOK FACESLAM!! Julian Page turns Crimson over, and covers him, as Jerry Rogers counts... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... THR... Kickout at two and three-quarters! There's life left in Crimson yet! Frustrated, Julian Page looks around... and now he crawls across Johnny Smiles and covers him instead! Once again, Jerry Rogers makes the count... ONE!! ... TWO!! ... THR...
