Monday Night Wrestling 02/12/00 (VCW 107)
Welcome, everyone, to VCW Monday Night Wrestling!! We're coming to you live, from the Bismarck Civic Center in North Dakota! Last week, Troy Black and his newly formed group of accomplices that has been dubbed "The Black Plague" ran amok in VCW, and Melissa DelArmeggio, Falcon, and David Wright Hubbard all felt their wrath first-hand. We now understand that all three of them sustained serious injuries as a result of the beatings they endured, and are expected to be out for at least a week or two. Gabriel Black's injury, however, is believed to be more serious, and could possibly force his retirement, or at least keep him out of action for a long time. As a result of...
Wait just a second! "Takin' Care of Business" by Bachman-Turner Overdrive just hit the arena sound system... here comes the VCW Commissioner, James Applebee!! Just eight days ago, he was given the position of VCW Commissioner by none other than the owner and CEO of Violent Entertainment Enterprises, John Alexander, and he's been up to his ears in paperwork ever since... but now he's on his way to the ring! What could be in store for VCW, as the new Commissioner begins to make his first public address!? He enters the ring and grabs a microphone, as the crowd gives a small amount of polite applause for him.
J. Applebee: Okay... there's some important decisions that need to be made right now, and I'm out here to make them. The first concerns our upcoming pay-per-view event, the Big Fight, which will take place on the eleven of March. The current VCW Intercontinental Champion, the legendary Bret "The Hitman" Hart, has asked me to declare the VCW Intercontinental Title vacant... so as of this very moment, the VCW Intercontinental Title is hereby declared to be vacant!
Now, what does this have to do with the Big Fight? Well, it's given me an idea. Normally, the prize for winning the Big Fight is a title shot at Blood and Thunder... but this year, we're doing things differently. This year, I'm taking the vacant VCW Intercontinental Title, and putting it on the line in the Big Fight! The last man to walk out of that battle royal standing... will become the new VCW Intercontinental Champion!!
The crowd gives a mild pop for that announcement. The stakes for the Big Fight just changed in a big way. This isn't a title shot that the winner has to wait four or five months to receive; this makes the Big Fight into an opportunity to win a title immediately!
J. Applebee: But that's not all. While I was clearing through the mass of paperwork that Virginia left me last week, there were a number of things that occured last week that I have a problem with. Last week, the Ontario Colour Show were cheated out of their newly-won VCW World Tag Team Titles. Last week, Melissa DelArmeggio, Falcon, and David Wright Hubbard were brutally attacked by Troy Black and his newly-formed Black Plague. To put it mildly, all hell broke loose last week. ... But if people like Idol, Solomon, and the Black Plague think that there aren't going to be consequences for their actions under this regime in VCW, they're dead wrong.
The crowd gives another mild pop... this is certainly a welcome change from corrupt Commissioners like James Lockman and Virginia!
J. Applebee: First of all, the VCW World Tag Team Titles will be on the line tonight in a rematch... the Middle-Aged Outlaws will defend those titles against the Ontario Colour Show! And if Jacob Idol and Rob Solomon, or anyone else on the VCW roster, sees fit to interfere in that match, they'll be out of a job. They'll be gone from VCW, and they won't be coming back!! But that's not all. As a result of their interference in that match... Jacob Idol and Rob Solomon are hereby forbidden from wrestling for any VCW championships at any time in the next sixty days!!
The crowd cheers... for sixty days, Jacob Idol and Rob Solomon won't get any shots at ANY titles! That doesn't just apply to the VCW World Tag Team Titles, it applies to any of the titles in VCW! If they thought they were going to pick off the Middle-Aged Outlaws for the titles after last week, they were mistaken in a huge way!
J. Applebee: Now... onto the Black Plague, as they've been calling themselves. The two biggest offenders here are, without a doubt, Troy Black and Tony Garcia. Falcon's currently recovering at home from his lingering back injury, but he's expected back in time for the Big Fight... so at the Big Fight, Falcon has a match, one-on-one, with Troy Black!!
WOW!! Falcon, one-on-one with Troy Black, at the Big Fight... that's a huge match!! The crowd cheers loudly, and James Applebee waits for the commotion to die down a little bit.
J. Applebee: It's a little bit harder to deal with David Wright Hubbard and Tony Garcia. I know that I can't trust David Wright Hubbard to stay at home until doctors say his knee is well enough for him to wrestle... he's going to want to come back as soon as he possibly can and get a piece of the action. And because of that, I have no choice... I'm hereby forbidding any physical contact, outside of a legally sanctioned VCW match, between David Wright Hubbard and any member of the Black Plague, until after the Big Fight. If David Wright Hubbard violates that agreement, he's stripped of the VCW World Title effective immediately... and if any member of the Black Plague violates that agreement, they can call up Vince McMahon or Mayor Mike Haggar, because they won't work for VCW any longer!!
The crowd gives a loud, mixed response for that; some fans are happy to hear about the possibility of the Black Plague being thrown out of VCW, but others didn't want to wait until the Big Fight to see David Wright Hubbard go at it with the Black Plague members. But "For Whom The Bell Tolls" by Metallica quickly kicks on over the arena sound system, and the lights are replaced by dim silver-blue lights... and here comes the Black Plague! Tony Garcia, Troy Black, Lorenzo Vasquez, Brujah, Desmond, Amy Lin, and Rebecca Black all come out of the backstage area and begin advancing on the ring. They all climb inside, and Troy Black grabs a microphone, then turns to James Applebee irately.
T. Black: Maybe you didn't hear what I told Melissa last week, so I'll repeat it for you. NOBODY tells Troy Black what to do. That means Melissa, that means David Wright Hubbard, that means Falcon... and that means you too. You're the VCW Commissioner now... and you're saying you'll fire us if we attack David Wright Hubbard!? Maybe you've got a death wish or something, but if you end up having to explain to John Alexander what Troy Black and Tony Garcia are doing on WWF RAW is WAR, you'd better be able to do some fast talking, or you'll end up somewhere in the Pacific Ocean ankle-deep in cement. You might be the VCW Commissioner, but you still have to do what's good for business. And getting rid of the men who are responsible for every last one of these people being in their seats tonight... that's not very good for business.
J. Applebee: You think I won't fire you? Try me. Come on... just try me.
T. Black: I don't think I need to. The fact is that you can't control us. You fire us, and the boss will bring us back in the very next day with an even bigger contract and an apology... and he'll have a few choice words for you. Now, I'm perfectly happy with you as an impotent figurehead Commissioner... but you'd do well to throw away your illusions of control and power, because nothing you say or do can control us. There's nobody in the locker room left who'll stand up to us...
"Degenerated" by the Lone Rangers just hit the arena sound system... what's this!? Johnny Smiles!! It's Johnny Smiles, and he's not alone... the Heavy Metal Express, Ken Collins, Stacey Lockman, and Moy Lazzario are all backing him up!! And he has a microphone in his hand...
J. Smiles: HEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRE'S JOHNNY!!
The crowd cheers loudly and sings along with him.
J. Smiles: Troy... just when we thought we were done with pompous jackasses who thought they ran VCW and went on huge power trips, we come in and see this. You've got Brujah and Desmond... who are known around the world for being two devestating, hard-hitting athletes... who bore everybody watching them to tears everywhere they go!! You've got Lorenzo Vasquez, who hasn't bathed since he came to VCW... you've got Rebecca Black and Amy Lin, who've each put more meat between their buns than an army of hot dog vendors... oh, and there's Tony Garcia, your big, clumsy hand-me-down hired goon from Gabriel. And then there's you, Troy, with your black shirts, black hair, and big black circles under your eyes... you're like Edward Scissorhands, only you don't even have scissors on your hands, for crying out loud!!
The crowd cheers, but Troy Black doesn't seem impressed in the ring.
T. Black: You have to be kidding me. Go on, step backstage and quit embarrassing yourself. We don't have time for this.
J. Smiles: You know... you won't get rid of us that easily, Edward Fingerhands. We just finished taking down Administration X, and now, the least elite faction in VCW is here knocking on your door. Maybe there is nobody in the locker room who'll stand up to you... but that's because we're not in the locker room, we're out here to embarrass ourselves and tell you that if you want to dominate VCW, you'll have to go through us first!
The crowd cheers once again, and Troy Black stares incredulously back at his teammates, as if he can't believe this. He turns back to Johnny Smiles.
T. Black: I'm going to point this out to you once. I'm Troy Black... and you're Johnny Smiles. Do you see the problem here? I'm the deadliest force in VCW... and you're just the midcard comedy act. And look at the people with you... Ken Collins, the man who lost to that SMCW LOSER King Rasta three times in a row... Moy Lazzario, who never has been worth anything and never will be... that worthless idiot, Lars Coverdale... and that washed-up, pathetic, aging, talentless piece of garbage, Marty Jannetty. What you're looking at in this ring is the best that professional wrestling has to offer... and the five of you are just lucky to even have jobs here.
J. Smiles: Troy... that's just not true at all! Ken Collins is a master submission specialist, Moy Lazzario's the true rookie sensation of VCW, Lars Coverdale is a high-flying aerial technician, and Marty Jannetty... well, you've got a point, but still three out of four isn't bad. And as for me... I think it's high time I brought myself up a notch, and became a MAIN EVENT comedy act. How would you like to see that!?
The crowd erupts into cheers. Troy Black starts to say something, but James Applebee speaks first, cutting him off.
J. Applebee: The people obviously want to see it, so it's time to make some matches. Brujah and Desmond... they'll face the Heavy Metal Express in a tag team match tonight. Lorenzo Vasquez... he'll get a match with Moy Lazzario. Tony Garcia... we'll match him up against another submission specialist, "The California Crippler" Ken Collins. And tonight, one-on-one, as the main event... Troy Black, you WILL face Johnny Smiles in the middle of this ring!!
The crowd goes crazy cheering, and the Black Plague members all look rather irritated at hearing this news. Amy Lin whispers something in Troy Black's ear, and he smiles evilly, then steps forward, raising the microphone.
T. Black: There's one more person who doesn't have a match on their team... Stacey Lockman. And you know... Amy Lin hasn't made her official VCW debut yet... so let's just make one more match. Amy Lin, one-on-one, against the amazing, talented second-generation superstar, Stacey Lockman.
The crowd actually cheers for that challenge, wanting to see that match... but in spite of Troy Black's mocking credit to her, Stacey Lockman isn't a trained wrestler. She's learned a thing or two from her father, and word has it that Ken Collins has been giving her lessons in their off-time... but she's still probably a long way from being a fully qualified wrestler... while Amy Lin is a highly trained, talented athlete! James Applebee raises the microphone, looking a little hesitant.
J. Applebee: I appreciate the suggestion, but... Stacey Lockman isn't really an athlete on the level of Amy Lin. I can't in good conscience--
T. Black: What's your point? NONE of those disgraceful excuses for wrestlers standing out there are athletes on the level of any of us. Comparing Stacey Lockman to Amy Lin is every bit as ludicrous as comparing Johnny Smiles to Troy Black.
J. Applebee: That's your opinion... but Stacey--
Amy Lin suddenly grabs the microphone from Troy Black and steps in front of Commissioner Applebee, cutting him off.
A. Lin: Yeah, I know... Stacey wouldn't last ten seconds in a ring with me. The very idea's a bit silly... I'm a wrestler, and Stacey... she's nothing more than a soft, pathetic, prissy little bitch. She doesn't even deserve to have a match with me... she's a pampered little rich cunt whose greatest lifetime achievement will be marrying some billionaire geek's son and fucking him every night in exchange for a life filled with tennis courts and diamond necklaces. Stacey Lockman does not deserve to exist on the same PLANET as me.
The crowd boos loudly, and Lorenzo Vasquez is smiling broadly and applauding, as Rebecca Black gets on her knees and bows repeatedly to Amy Lin as if worshipping her. Stacey Lockman is trembling on the outside of the ring, and Ken Collins and Johnny Smiles quickly move to console her. James Applebee is glaring at Amy Lin, not seeming amused at all with her little tirade.
J. Applebee: You're not fooling anybody. Stacey Lockman is a fine young lady, who doesn't deserve to be endangered by being placed in a wrestling match against a trained athlete. I won't make the match.
T. Black: Let me put it to you this way... it's an all-or-nothing deal. If you won't put Stacey in there with Amy... I'm not going to dirty my hands with Johnny. None of us are contractually obligated to be here tonight... we'll all turn around and walk out on this show right now if you don't want to play our way. Then you can have a great time tomorrow morning explaining why ratings are in the toilet because Troy Black wasn't on the show last night.
The crowd boos, and James Applebee looks to be seriously considering what Troy Black has to say, and he finally sighs and raises the microphone. The wrestlers standing on the ramp all look disappointed, but Stacey Lockman is still staring into the ring at Amy Lin.
J. Applebee: It's a hard decision to make... but I'm not going to endanger Stacey by forcing her into a match with Amy Lin tonight. I'd rather run you and your thugs off the show and catch hell for it later than put an innocent young woman at--
Stacey Lockman suddenly snatches the microphone away from Johnny Smiles.
S. Lockman: I'll do it. Make the match.
The crowd explodes into cheers, and everyone turns to look at Stacey in shock. Amy Lin smiles, and lifts a microphone.
A. Lin: I'd be laughing right now if this wasn't so pitiful. Seriously, Stacey...
S. Lockman: Seriously, Amy. Everyone knows you've been passed around more than a football... and even right now, you're the LAST person on Earth who should be talking about sleeping around in exchange for favors. The only reason you're on a VCW contract right now is in Troy Black's pants.
Whoa!! The crowd erupts into cheers, and Amy Lin looks absolutely shocked that Stacey would say that. Then the shock gives way to anger, as she stares out at Stacey Lockman, red-faced, with eyes full of hatred.
A. Lin: You're dead meat, you fucking bitch...
Amy throws aside the microphone and tries to charge out of the ring at Stacey Lockman, but Troy Black makes a quick motion, and Brujah and Desmond hold her back. Amy Lin kicks and struggles in their grasp, and Troy Black begins whispering into her ear, trying to calm her down... and slowly, it appears to be working. James Applebee turns to the members of the Black Plague as Amy is held back.
J. Applebee: Okay, then... you've got the match! I'll add it to the line-up... Amy Lin will face Stacey Lockman, one-on-one, tonight! And that means the rest of you will also be in action tonight, as I said before. And if there's anything even vaguely resembling one of those gang-beatings you were all involved in last week... then I might just have to consider cancelling Tony Garcia's title match with David Wright Hubbard. Do you understand me?
T. Black: I understand just fine. There won't be any gang attacks tonight... we'll all send our opponents to the hospital singlehandedly. The Black Plague has infected VCW, with a one hundred percent mortality rate, and the only cure is to get out of the way before you're destroyed. They'll just be the next statistics.
"For Whom The Bell Tolls" by Metallica begins playing, and Troy Black directs a stare of pure malice down the ramp at Johnny Smiles, whose face suddenly seems a little uncertain. Johnny has picked one hell of a fight for himself tonight, and he's going to have to hope that he can rise to the occasion in a big way tonight. Johnny has been fairly successful in VCW... but this is Troy Black he's facing tonight. The same can be said for the rest of Johnny's friends... they all would seem to be the underdogs tonight as they go into their respective matches.
Hold on just a second... we've received word that the Hammer of the Gods has arrived backstage, and that Ziggy Adderloaf is there on the scene to get their reactions to some of James Applebee's earlier announcements! Take it away, Ziggy!
Backstage...
The three members of the Hammer of the Gods enter the building, along with Jasmina Chastity, who's wearing the VCW T & A Title. Julian Page doesn't look too happy right now, and Jacob Idol and Rob Solomon still seem to be a little worse for wear after their ladder match eight days ago. They're all carrying travel bags, and Rob Solomon's carrying a hockey stick. Ziggy Adderloaf walks up to them and intercepts them as they come in.
Z. Adderloaf: Hey, guys... I don't know if you heard the news, but James Applebee had some announcements earlier. First of all, the VCW Intercontinental Title is up for grabs in the Big Fight battle royal--
Julian Page snaps to life, staring at Ziggy angrily and taking a threatening step towards him.
J. Page: What!? You mean I don't even get a rematch against Bret Hart? If he vacated that title, it should go to the former champion, the number-one contender... me. Look at us, Ziggy... we've been having hard times. It used to be that every single one of us had a major VCW title... now look at us. We've had enough bad news as it is lately, and we really don't need any more. I'll enter the Big Fight, and I'll get my damn title back.
Z. Adderloaf: You probably won't like hearing about his other announcements, then. The Ontario Colour Show has a rematch with the Middle-Aged Outlaws tonight... and anyone who interferes is thrown out of VCW, released from their contract.
J. Idol: Great. This is just GREAT. We screw them out of the titles last week, and now they're gonna get them right back, because they did some sucking up to the Commissioner. Why doesn't he just hand the titles right back over to them and not bother with it!?
R. Solomon: Wait, it's okay. Hey, kid... he didn't say anything about what happens after the match, did he?
Z. Adderloaf: No, not really...
R. Solomon: Well, okay then. They kill the Outlaws and get their titles back... then we come out, beat the hell out of them, and challenge them for the titles next week.
Z. Adderloaf: Actually, there's just one more thing... he said that the two of you are barred from getting any title shots for sixty days.
Rob Solomon's face contorts with frustration as he turns and smashes a cardboard box with a swing of the hockey stick, coming inches from Ziggy Adderloaf's head with the swing and causing him to cower in fear. Jacob Idol just shakes his head in disbelief, then runs a hand down his face.
R. Solomon: That's BULLSHIT. I'm gonna walk right down to his office right now and whip his ass. He can't do that to us. Everywhere we turn, we're getting screwed. We can't have title shots, Julian never gets a rematch for the Intercontinental Title... this is a bunch of crap. We dominate this whole damn company for months on end, then they get the titles off of us at Wrestlewar and try to dump us like yesterday's garbage. He's got an ass whipping on the way...
Rob Solomon starts to walk away, but Julian Page holds him back.
J. Page: Calm down, it's not that big a deal... we'll deal with it. I'll talk to some people backstage--
Voice: Just give up. It's hopeless. Life's just an exercise to see how much misery God can afflict upon you before you die.
Every member of the Hammer of the Gods, as well as Ziggy Adderloaf, turns to look to the side. The camera swivels slightly, and it can now be seen that Lance Errington is sitting on the floor in a corner of the building, dressed in street clothes, with a bottle of cheap booze in his hand. He takes a big drink of it, then continues.
L. Errington: Everything that you give a damn about will inevitably be snatched away from you, and there's not a damn thing you can do about it. Try to find a party and forget about it all for a day, until you're forced to come back down to real life. Friendship, loyalty, and love... they're all myths, invented by a bunch of limp-wristed naive fairy-tale writers. If someone ever tells you they love you, save yourself the heartache and grab a gun and blow their fucking head off, because it'll hurt less than when they stab you in the back later if they live to betray you.
The three members of the Hammer of the Gods just stare at Lance Errington like he's lost his mind. He takes another swig of the bottle, emptying it.
J. Idol: Man, this is pathetic...
R. Solomon: I think he needs his ass kicked.
Rob Solomon lunges forward and nails Lance Errington in the neck with the hockey stick before he can get up and defend himself, and Jacob Idol and Julian Page crowd around as well, all three stomping and beating the hell out of Lance Errington. Jacob Idol hauls him up and throws him into a stack of cardboard boxes, which all topple over on him. Julian Page grabs the empty bottle from where he stood and waits for him to get up, then smashes the bottle over his head, sending a spray of broken glass everywhere and busting Lance Errington open. They step back away from his prone form, surveying their handiwork with satisfied smiles.
J. Page: I think I'm starting to feel better already.
The members of the Hammer of the Gods walk away, leaving Lance Errington lying on the floor, bleeding, as the camera fades out on the backstage scene.
The Hammer of the Gods means business tonight; Lance Errington was formerly one of their allies, and they just laid him out backstage! Speaking of which, he's sure acting strangely lately... it looks like losing both the match and Lady Erica Whitmore to Falcon at Wrestlewar III depressed him quite a bit. But there's no time to dwell on that... we're ready for our opening match! Russel "The Muscle" Taylor is in the ring already, and awaiting the entrance of his opponent tonight, Salvaje Demonio.
"Surfing With The Alien" by Joe Satriani begins playing over the arena sound system, and the crowd cheers as Salvaje Demonio comes running out of the backstage area. He wasn't successful at Wrestlewar in his match against Rex Richards, but it has to be said in his defense that Rex Richards won that match through some pretty underhanded means. Salvaje Demonio slides into the ring and poses for the crowd on one of the top turnbuckles, then jumps down, preparing to face Russel Taylor. They shake hands before the match, and Linda Peterson enters the ring to referee our first match of the evening!
Salvaje Demonio
vs.
Russel "The Muscle" Taylor
Russel "The Muscle" Taylor tries to mount an offense, but he's woefully outmatched in terms of skill. His usual running clotheslines are easily ducked or countered with armdrag takedowns, and the one time he does get the advantage and go for a Gorilla Press, Salvaje Demonio is able to easily slide down behind him and hit a belly-to-back suplex, then finish him off with a fireman's carry into a flapjack, followed by the Swandive Headbutt.
Salvaje Demonio
pinned Russel Taylor with the Swandive Headbutt in 0:02:36.
Rating: *
That didn't take long... Salvaje Demonio poses for the crowd, celebrating this rather easily-won victory, then heads backstage, with the crowd giving him a mild pop. Russel Taylor eventually gets up and heads backstage as well, as a chant of "JOBBER" follows behind him from the crowd. He gave it his best effort, as always... but he really needs to pick up some depth and talent. What are they teaching him at that VCW Power Plant, anyway?
"Highway To Hell" by AC/DC begins playing, and we weren't expecting this... but here come Jack Norman and Butch Manson of Hell's Bikers. They've pretty much recovered from their brutal Barbed Wire Match at Wrestlewar, but for some reason they still don't exactly look happy. They enter the ring, and Butch Manson grabs a microphone... what could this be about? Due to the pre-Wrestlewar agreements, their feud with the Wrecking Crew is over... so what are they mad about?
B. Manson: Stiff Competition... Crimson ain't here tonight, but he sent us to tell you he didn't appreciate how you tried to jump him two-on-one when he was fighting Bass Rogers. Normally, he'd be here tonight to kill both of you scrubs singlehandedly, but instead he's down in SOUTH Dakota, not this loser hick state North Dakota, catching up with some old biker buddies.
The crowd boos that remark.
B. Manson: But he sent us here to North Dakota tonight for an important mission... to beat the living shit out of you two overhyped losers. So we want you to hurry up and get here, so we can finish our mission, beat your asses, and get the hell out of this dump!
The crowd boos, but then begins cheering again as "War Machine" by KISS begins playing over the arena sound system. Here comes Stiff Competition, the team of Bass Rogers and Dean Sanders... and they look ready for a fight, just like they always are. They're both well-documented as legit badass fighters, and Dean Sanders is one hell of a wrestler, to boot... but let's not overlook the fact that Hell's Bikers are two tough guys as well. They've seen their share of street fights, and their recent brutal Barbed Wire Match proved without a doubt that they don't shy away from a little pain. Stiff Competition enters the ring... evidently they want to get this on right away! Bobcat McGavin's in the ring, calling for the bell, and we've got a match!
Stiff Competition
vs.
Hell's Bikers (Jack Norman & Butch Manson)
Butch Manson starts off, but Bass Rogers wants to go head to head with the big man, Jack Norman, and he tells him so. Butch Manson tags Jack Norman in, and the two big men meet in the middle of the ring, trading blows. Jack Norman puts up a good fight, not shying away from Bass Rogers's hard punches, and landing a few of his own, but after a while of even fighting Bass Rogers takes him down and begins hammering him on the mat. Bass Rogers takes control of the match, working Jack Norman over with some power moves, but Jack Norman manages to duck a deadly lariat, then plant Bass Rogers flat on his back with a big spinebuster, which gets only a two count when he goes for the pin.
Hell's Bikers take control of the match, pounding Bass Rogers with their own powerful brawling offense, but he absorbs the offense and keeps kicking out of pin attempts. Eventually, he reverses a whip to the ropes and powerslams Butch Manson, but rather than going for the pin he tags in Dean Sanders. Dean Sanders comes in and wrestles circles around Butch Manson, taking him down repeatedly, until Butch Manson gets fed up and punches him. Dean Sanders punches right back, going toe-to-toe with the larger Butch Manson in the middle of the ring, and actually backs him into a corner with intense jabs and chops. He backs up, then yells "COME ON!" and motions for Butch Manson to bring it on. Butch Manson charges him in a rage... and Dean Sanders calmly takes him off his feet with a double-leg takedown, then crawls on top of him and begins pummelling his face as if he was driving railroad spikes with his fists.
Dean Sanders gets up and goes for an Asai moonsault as Butch Manson gets up, but that proves to be a mistake when Butch Manson catches him, upside-down, then carries him to a corner and hangs him in the Tree of Woe. He beats him in the corner, then tags in Jack Norman, who works him over with some high-impact offense as well. A backbreaker followed by a pin attempt gets two, as does a sidewalk slam, but a massive powerslam gets two and a half, and a power bomb gets a near fall. Dean Sanders just isn't quite as impervious to punishment as Bass Rogers, his partner. Butch Manson gets tagged in and goes for his Flying Legdrop, but Dean Sanders moves and tags in Bass Rogers as Butch tags Jack Norman in again.
Bass Rogers comes in and runs amok, cleaning house on both members of Hell's Bikers, but his offense gets cut off short when he tries to hit an avalanche in the corner on Jack Norman, and runs into a massive boot. Jack Norman runs him over with a massive clothesline as he staggers back, then tosses him into a corner and clobbers him repeatedly. Bass Rogers staggers out... and Jack Norman hits the Chokeslam!! He covers Bass Rogers... and Bobcat McGavin only gets to two and a half before Bass Rogers kicks out! This guy can take more punishment than a main battle tank! Granted, Jack Norman's Chokeslam probably isn't on par with Crimson's in terms of lethality... but still, a Chokeslam is a Chokeslam!
Jack Norman tags in Butch Manson, who goes up top... and hits a moonsault!? The Butch Manson moonsault only gets a two and a half count on Bass Rogers, and Butch Manson goes for a bodyslam... but Bass Rogers is too big, and he falls on top of Butch Manson for a two count! Butch Manson gets up, favoring his back... and Bass Rogers goes to work on it with massive clubbing blows, then tags in Dean Sanders. Jack Norman also comes in, and a wild brawl erupts, as the two big men trade punches, and Dean Sanders viciously works over Butch Manson's back with a backbreaker, then a spinebuster, resulting in a two and three-quarters count on a pin attempt. He hits a bodyslam and a flying elbowdrop for another near fall, then puts Butch Manson in a standing headscissors... POWER BOMB!! That could have done it... Dean Sanders isn't very big, but he just flattened Butch Manson with that power bomb! He goes for the cover... and Bass Rogers catches Jack Norman with a massive belly-to-belly suplex, preventing him from making the save! Stiff Competition gets the win!
Stiff Competition
defeated Hell's Bikers (Jack Norman & Butch Manson) when D.
Sanders pinned B. Manson after a power bomb in 0:11:17.
Rating: 1/4*
What a brawl that was! Stiff Competition are walking away from here with the victory... and it looks like Butch Manson and Jack Norman didn't quite get the job done tonight. Stiff Competition is heading backstage... and "Macho Man" Randy Savage charges out at them with a chair! He knocks Dean Sanders off his feet with a chairshot, then nails Bass Rogers with a chairshot... but Bass Rogers doesn't go down! Bass Rogers stumbles back... and Randy Savage hits him again!! Bass Rogers is reeling... and Randy Savage gives him a third chairshot, sending him crashing down on the entrance ramp! Dean Sanders pulls himself up... but Randy Savage gives him a second blow from the chair!!
A maniacal look grows in the Macho Man's eyes, and he pushes the edge of the chair into Bass Rogers's throat, then begins pushing down on it as Bass Rogers kicks and struggles! Randy Savage has been known to crush his enemies' throats before, and he's trying to do that to Bass Rogers now! And now Jack Norman and Butch Manson are up, and heading up the ramp to join in. Dean Sanders starts to get up again, but Jack and Butch catch up to him and send him down with a flurry of double-team clubbing blows, then begin putting the boots to him on the ramp. The Macho Man and Hell's Bikers are carrying out Crimson's orders, destroying Bass Rogers and Dean Sanders!!
The H.A.R.P. Squad begins pouring out of the backstage entrance, surprisingly quickly given their past record, and quickly converges on the two members of Hell's Bikers and Randy Savage, pulling them away. Jack Norman and Butch Manson go along fairly peacefully, despite yelling and complaining, but Randy Savage continues to struggle and squirm, wanting to further attack Bass Rogers and Dean Sanders... but there's too many H.A.R.P. Squad members, and he's quickly dragged backstage. Medical crews are out to help Bass Rogers and Dean Sanders... but they're getting up on their own! They're wounded, but they're not down and out yet! They both look a little worse for wear, but they're pushing aside the medical crews and heading backstage, as the crowd cheers. These two men are extra tough, there's no doubt about that...
We've got another match coming up now... "Kashmir" by Led Zeppelin is playing over the arena sound system, and the crowd boos loudly as Julian Page steps out of the backstage area. He's no longer dressing like Bret "The Hitman" Hart; instead, he's back to the old green false-snakeskin tights that he's been known to wear before. He comes to the ring and grabs a microphone immediately, as the crowd continues to boo him.
J. Page: Because the VCW Commissioner is a biased, pompous ass who's determined to bring ruin to the Hammer of the Gods for no reason, he hasn't reinstated me as VCW Intercontinental Champion, which would be the honest thing to do considering that I'm the last active wrestler to hold that title. Instead, I'm going to have to throw my name in as a participant in the Big Fight, and defeat twenty-nine other wrestlers to gain what's rightfully mine again. So to the rest of the people in the Big Fight... prepare in advance to go home empty-handed, because I'm going home with my title no matter what it takes.
Hold it... "Blinded By The Light" by Manfred Mann is playing... who's this? It's Robert Danson! Robert Danson steps out of the backstage area, accompanied by Nicole, and climbs into the ring, calling for a microphone.
R. Danson: Hey, man, I've gotta say... that's a pretty big announcement. And you're not gonna believe this, but I'm in the Big Fight too. Is that wild or what!? You know, I just got to thinking that winning the Big Fight could be the extra kick in the derriere my career needs to take off to the next level... so I just signed up, and it turns out we're both in it. That's pretty crazy, huh? Anyway, may the best man win and all that.
Robert Danson is smiling a friendly smile and offering a hand for Julian Page to shake, but Julian Page doesn't appear to be too happy to hear this at all. He swats Robert Danson's hand away and glares at him angrily.
J. Page: Listen, you babbling musclebound Mongoloid, I have nothing to say to you. As a matter of fact, I think you're a complete ass. So why don't you just go take a flying hike!?
R. Danson: Because I don't have any of those shoes with wings on them like that Greek guy... but it'd be pretty swell if I did, I gotta tell you. Anyway, you're not being very friendly--
Julian Page just cut Robert Danson off with a jab to the face, and they're brawling in the middle of the ring! Brendan Powers enters the ring, calling for the bell, and this match is officially underway!
Robert Danson
vs.
Julian Page
Julian Page opens the match up by driving Robert Danson back into the corner and nailing him repeatedly, but Robert Danson steps out, tosses Julian Page into the corner, and returns the favor, rocking Julian Page with plenty of big right hands. Robert Danson takes control, dominating Julian Page and bouncing him around the ring like a tennis ball, until Julian Page drops to his knees and begins begging for mercy. Robert Danson moves forward to hit him anyway, but Julian Page is able to slip a low blow in, turning the tide of the match. Julian Page takes control, working over Robert Danson's legs, trying to offset his thirty or forty pound weight advantage.
Robert Danson counters a few leg-weardown moves and tries to make a comeback, but each time Julian Page cuts him off with a well-placed eye gouge or elbowsmash. Julian Page eventually slaps on a figure-four leglock, but Robert Danson is able to fight his way out of it and turn it over. Undaunted, Julian Page goes to the top turnbuckle for a flying axhandle as Robert Danson gets up, but he takes too long and Robert Danson grabs him and prepares to throw him off. Julian Page shakes his head "no" frantically and begs Robert Danson not to throw him, but Robert Danson hurls him halfway across the ring despite his pleas. Robert Danson takes control with a series of power moves and a few big running clotheslines. With Julian Page reeling, he goes for the Running Powerslam... but Julian Page slides out behind him, then rolls him up from behind, hooks his tights, AND uses the ropes for leverage, getting a three-count from the rather unobservant Brendan Powers! Julian Page steals another victory!

Rating: **
Julian Page quickly rolls out of the ring and begins retreating backstage as Robert Danson gets to his feet, looking rather upset at the way this match turned out. Nicole helps Robert Danson to his feet, and he stares after the retreating Julian Page rather angrily. He knows how close he was to winning this one, and what it would have done for his career... but thanks to the underhanded ways of Julian Page, it didn't happen tonight. Robert Danson and Nicole eventually head backstage to a mild pop from the crowd.
"Talk Dirty To Me" by Poison begins playing over the arena sound system next, and here comes the Heavy Metal Express, team of Marty Jannetty and Lars Coverdale. They'll compete in the first match of five tonight between Johnny Smiles's friends and Troy Black's Black Plague. Johnny and his friends were successful in eventually vanquishing Administration X at Wrestlewar... but facing the Black Plague is a whole different task. With all due respect to Administration X, they didn't have world-renowned combatants like Troy Black and Tony Garcia among their ranks. Marty Jannetty and Lars Coverdale enter the ring; they'll be facing two men who are largely untested in VCW, Brujah and Desmond.
"New World Order" by Ministry begins playing over the arena sound system, and the crowd boos as Brujah and Desmond come out of the backstage area, accompanied by Rebecca Black. This'll be their first real test in VCW, as they face a tag team that's been fairly successful recently in tag team matches, if somewhat less so in singles competition. Brujah and Desmond have had some big wins in SMCW... but they've also taken some big losses. This might be the first indications of how well they'll do in VCW. They enter the ring, and Jerry Rogers enters the ring to act as referee, as this match begins!
The Black Plague (Brujah
& Desmond)
w/Rebecca Black
vs.
Heavy Metal Express
Desmond enters the ring first and locks up with Lars Coverdale, but is quickly outwrestled and taken down. He gets up and charges into a few armdrag takedowns, then into a dropkick, before tagging out in frustration. Brujah goes in and immediately goes on the assault, slugging it out with Lars Coverdale, who's actually a bit larger than him, but managing to hold his own. He starts to take control, but when he whips Lars Coverdale into the ropes, Lars ducks a clothesline, then takes him down with a dropkick (which comes about five or six inches from actually connecting, but gets sold anyway) when he turns around. He gets up and charges into another dropkick, then another, before rolling out of the ring in frustration to regroup... and Lars Coverdale dives out onto him with a slingshot cross body! Lars Coverdale takes control of Brujah on the outside of the ring, then rolls him back in, climbs in after him, and... begins playing air guitar and headbanging? This won't get the match won...
Lars Coverdale makes the tag to Marty Jannetty, who comes over to take control... but quickly gets a low blow from Brujah. Brujah gets up and nails Marty with a few elbows to the spine, then tosses him into the corner and drills him with several punches before tagging in Desmond. Brujah and Desmond begin working Marty Jannetty over with some basic, but effective offense, focusing on his back with slams and the occasional backbreaker, and lots of targeted elbows and stomps. Marty Jannetty tries for a comeback after countering a move a few times, but it's always cut off by a kneelift or an elbowsmash, or a trip by Rebecca Black outside of the ring. Brujah eventually yells "IT'S OVER!" and puts Marty Jannetty in a standing headscissors... he's looking for his Power Bomb! He lifts him up... but Marty Jannetty counters with a badly-botched Frankensteiner that basically looks like him jumping up and falling down, them Brujah doing a forward flip onto his back of his own accord. The crowd groans at the blown spot, but both men are now down... Brujah tags Desmond... and Marty crawls over and tags in Lars Coverdale!
Lars Coverdale runs in, with dropkicks aplenty for everyone, cleaning house and taking down both Brujah and Desmond repeatedly. Marty Jannetty comes in to help, and the Heavy Metal Express hits a series of tandem moves on Brujah and Desmond, keeping them off-guard and unable to mount a resistance. They throw Brujah out of the ring, then whip Desmond into the ropes... DOUBLE SUPERKICK!! That's it!! See you later, Desmond... he's out! Lars is going forward to cover... but Rebecca Black jumps up on the apron, motioning for him to come over to her! And she's pulling her tank top down further, exposing an abundance of cleavage... and damn it, Lars Coverdale's walking over to Rebecca Black! Marty Jannetty, the idiot, is just grinning and egging Lars on as he embraces Rebecca Black. This can't be smart...
She puts a hand on his abdomen and begins stroking it, working her way down... she wouldn't... SHE STUCK HER HAND DOWN HIS TIGHTS!! This is about to get downright pornographic... but Brujah just entered the ring and tackled Marty Jannetty, and he's choking him!! Jerry Rogers begins ordering him to release the chokehold... and inside Lars's tights, Rebecca's fist just clenched sharply!! Lars Coverdale cries out in pain as Rebecca smiles with sadistic glee, her hand tightening like a vice, then making a sharp twisting motion in his tights, before finally sliding out again. Brujah and Marty continue brawling, and their fight spills out to the outside, as Jerry Rogers turns around, too late to catch Rebecca's interference... but in the ring, Lars Coverdale staggers back, nearly bent double in pain... and Desmond's slowly getting back up! He looks around groggily, and sees Lars Coverdale still bent over in pain... and he grabs his head... OUTCAST!! He just hit the Outcast on Lars Coverdale, and now he makes the pin... and gets three!!

Rating: 1/4*
The crowd boos loudly as Brujah and Desmond are announced as the winners, and roll out of the ring victoriously. The Heavy Metal Express just got robbed, and the Black Plague won this one! They back up towards the backstage area, taunting the Heavy Metal Express and posing to celebrate their victory. Rebecca Black licks her fingers as if she just finished eating a box of fried chicken... then makes a bitter, gagging face and wipes her hands on her pants quickly. Meanwhile, in the ring, Lars Coverdale is curled up into a fetal ball, as Marty Jannetty checks on him. Chalk this victory up to Rebecca Black's hand, but the Black Plague has won the first of their matches against Johnny Smiles and his friends. Marty Jannetty eventually helps Lars Coverdale to get to his feet and gingerly hobble backstage, as the crowd gives them polite applause.
Hold on just a second... before we go any further, we understand there's something brewing backstage involving VCW Commissioner James Applebee. A camera's on the scene, so let's go to that right now!
Backstage...
The Ontario Colour Show, Owen Addison and Paul Canyon, are standing backstage, talking to VCW Commissioner James Applebee in an office-like room.
J. Applebee: So... let me see if I understand you correctly. You want...
O. Addison: Look, it's really simple. We want you to make an exception in your sixty-day ban on title shots for Idol and Solomon. Just for tonight. And then we want you to put them in our match. Make it a three-way. The Ontario Colour Show against the Middle-Aged Outlaws against Idol and Solomon, tonight.
J. Applebee: You realize this means they could walk out of here with the VCW World Tag Team Titles tonight?
O. Addison: Yeah... but I don't care. We don't like the Middle-Aged Outlaws one bit, but they're not the real issue here. The real issue is the Hammer of the Gods, Jacob Idol and Rob Solomon, and the fact that they refuse to acknowledge who the best tag team in VCW truly is. We want to know that they're not just barred from getting title shots because you want to hand down some justice... we want them to know they're not getting title shots because we already proved that they're not good enough.
J. Applebee: I understand. If you really want it, I'll make the match a three-way for the titles.
O. Addison: Oh, yeah... we want it. We want to get our hands on those two second-rate tag team cowards more than anything.
P. Canyon: And don't worry about the titles... they're coming back home tonight. We're gonna set right everything that went wrong last week, and we're gonna do it out there in that ring, tonight.
J. Applebee: You've got your match, boys... good luck with it.
The Ontario Colour Show nod and smile in approval, then walk off the scene as the camera fades out on the backstage happenings.
Back in the ring area, we're... uh-oh. "Call It Stormy Monday" by the Allman Brothers Band is playing over the arena sound system, and the crowd begins booing loudly as Stormy Weathers steps out of the backstage area. He was last seen escaping from Big Trouble on top of a runaway moving platform, after he had fired them... and now he's back out here? What's this all about?
S. Weathers: Howdy, folks!! Could ol' Stormy have a little bit of your attention for just one minute?
The crowd yells "NO!!" in unison, then begins booing loudly. A chant of "GO AWAY!" begins among the crowd, and quickly picks up in volume. Stormy Weathers looks around at them angrily.
S. Weathers: Y'all are gonna have to shut your damn pieholes, because Stormy's got something important to say!!
The crowd continues to boo and chant loudly. Stormy Weathers continues to glare at them angrily, but then seems to decide that he's going to continue anyway.
S. Weathers: I got rid of those two big dumbass oversize losers, Jorge Gonzalez and Ron Reese, and I'll bet y'all thought ol' Stormy was just gonna fade away. Ol' Haigeikobai got his neck broke and ended up getting his ass sold to a cannibal restaurant over in the Himalaya mountains somewhere... my boy Brian Rivera damn near got his neck broke by Johnny Smiles... and Salvaje Demonio up and ran off on me after all I did for his sorry ass. And now I got rid of those two big losers... but ol' Stormy ain't done yet! I went and got me one of the deadliest teams in wrestling history under my wing... and now, wouldn't y'all know it... ol' Stormy's got the Manhunters!!
"Devil's Dance" by Metallica begins playing over the arena sound system... and here come the Manhunters! They must have been unemployed after the fall of Administration X... and now Stormy Weathers has acquired their services! They have a long-standing reputation as cold, soulless, and effective thugs, and now they're aligned with Stormy Weathers... in spite of losing Big Trouble, Stormy Weathers may be coming out ahead on this deal. Stormy Weathers walks to the ring with the Manhunters, and they climb inside... and what're they up to now!?
S. Weathers: As a matter of fact, Stormy's damn sure that the Manhunters are gonna be whipping ass... so if those two so-called tough guys, the Wrecking Crew, want a piece of this, I'm calling them out, because ol' Stormy's Manhunters are gonna kill them!!
WHAT!? The Manhunters are a formidable tag team, all right, but the Wrecking Crew aren't any "so-called" tough guys... they just won a hellacious Barbed Wire Match at Wrestlewar! Stormy Weathers might be writing a check that the Manhunters can't cash, but they're standing their ground, even as "Domination" by Pantera begins playing over the arena sound system and Blade and John Uldwall, the Wrecking Crew step out of the backstage area, with the crowd cheering them on wildly. They're heading to the ring without hesitation... and the Manhunters attack them as they climb inside! Linda Peterson enters the ring to officiate, and this match is on!
Manhunters
w/Stormy Weathers
vs.
Wrecking Crew
The Manhunters dominate the early goings of the match, after jumping the Wrecking Crew on their way into the ring. They use their size and power to their advantage, and Manhunter #2 lays in some stiff chops for good measure. The Wrecking Crew uses their superior quickness to make a few comeback attempts against their slower opponents, but these are cut off, either by an eye gouge from one of the Manhunters or a trip from the outside by Stormy Weathers. Eventually, the Manhunters are able to isolate Blade, and begin slowly, methodically, (and it must be said, somewhat boringly) wearing him down with forearm smashes, rest holds, and power moves. But pin attempts after a powerslam, a spinebuster, and a brain buster only get two counts for the Manhunters.
Manhunter #1 puts a rear chinlock on Blade, attempting to wear him down further with the hold... but the crowd gets behind him, and after Linda Peterson checks his arm twice, he stands up, shaking his fists, and breaks the chinlock with some elbows to the midsection. He runs into the ropes... but Manhunter #1 grabs him by the throat when he comes off! He lifts him up, and puts him down with a big chokeslam! He goes for the cover... but only gets two and three-quarters! Manhunter #1 tags in Manhunter #2, and they both climb to opposite turnbuckles... they're looking for the Double Diving Headbutt, which could end this match right now! They come off the top... and Blade moved out of the way! Stormy Weathers is beside himself, both Manhunters are down... and Blade makes the tag to John Uldwall!
John Uldwall enters the ring and cleans house, knocking down both Manhunters with repeated football tackles and clotheslines. He even picks up Manhunter #2 and presses him over his head in a Gorilla Press, in an amazing display of power, before slamming him to the ground. Blade comes back in, and the Wrecking Crew demolishes both Manhunters with massive slams and suplexes. After dishing out some more punishment, they toss Manhunter #1 out of the ring, and flatten Manhunter #2 with a huge double power bomb!! Blade goes up to the top as John Uldwall crouches in the corner behind Manhunter #2, waiting for him to get up... he's in the sights of the Breakdown! But Stormy Weathers jumps up and nails John Uldwall in the back with a chair, drawing an instant disqualification!

The match is over, but John Uldwall doesn't look like he's done just yet... he barely flinched from that chairshot! He reaches out and grabs Stormy Weathers before he can escape, and hauls him into the ring, drawing a loud pop from the crowd! Blade dismounts from the turnbuckle to pitch Manhunter #2 out of the ring, and John Uldwall plants Stormy Weathers in the middle of the ring. Blade goes up to the top again, and John Uldwall crouches as Stormy Weathers begins to pull himself to his feet. He gets up... BREAKDOWN!! Stormy Weathers just got nailed with the Breakdown! He's a crumpled heap on the mat... but the Manhunters are sliding back into the ring with chairs! Blade and John Uldwall turn around from admiring their handiwork on Stormy Weathers... and each of the Manhunters nails a member of the Wrecking Crew with a chair, sending them crashing to the mat!
The crowd boos loudly as the Manhunters continue to whack the fallen Wrecking Crew members with chairs mercilessly, hitting them repeatedly across the back and shoulders with single-minded purpose. They know Stormy Weathers won't be happy about taking the Breakdown, and they're taking out some revenge for him on the Wrecking Crew! But here comes the H.A.R.P. Squad... they enter the ring and pull the Manhunters away, saving the Wrecking Crew from any further abuse. The Manhunters drop the chairs, and Manhunter #2 picks up Stormy's limp carcass, carrying him along as they head backstage. But damage may have already been done... the Wrecking Crew are laid out, and they took quite a beating. It's probably pretty safe to bet that they won't be forgetting about this beating, though...
As the Wrecking Crew are tended to by trainers, we're going to go backstage to Jacob Idol and Rob Solomon, and get their reaction to their involvement now in the VCW World Tag Team Title match coming up tonight. Let's go to that now.
Backstage...
Jacob Idol and Rob Solomon are sitting backstage in a dressing room, dressed to wrestle. Jasmina Chastity is seated beside Jacob Idol with his arm curled around her waist, leaning against his shoulder, and Julian Page is also in the room, seated nearby as he relaxes after his match with Robert Danson.
R. Solomon: We just heard the news... and it's not justice, but it's good enough for us tonight. And that's because we won't NEED a second chance. Those two old men, the Middle-Aged Outlaws, won't even enter into the equation. We only need one chance to correct that little fluke that took place at Wrestlewar and get our titles back. We're still the most dominant, the most elite force in VCW... getting the belts back to prove it is just a formality. And then in sixty days... that's when we come back for the rest of the titles. Julian Page is gonna win the VCW Intercontinental Title back at the Big Fight... and after that, Tim Bell and David Wright Hubbard are next.
J. Idol: The ladder match was nothing more than a fluke... a freak accident of nature, and when we get back in the ring with the Ontario Colour Show, that'll become apparent. The fact that the Commissioner feels the need to keep the two of us away from all the title belts in this company for sixty days says a lot about how dangerous we are. I was the founder of the Technicians... I taught the Ontario Colour Show how to be an effective unit. They got tired of being in my shadow, and thought they could just cast me aside... but that's not gonna work. Tonight will just be a reminder that even though sometimes they're luckier than me, they'll never be better than me.
R. Solomon: So, Color Show... after we beat you tonight, you can throw around water bottles and talk about playing rough and whine to the Commissioner all you want... because after tonight, we're done with you. When the Hammer of the Gods finishes with the Technicians, you won't have anything left but your prissy little tie-dye tights and that flat-breasted little tramp you run around with. You think losing to the Outlaws was bad... it hasn't even started to get bad yet. Tonight... things are gonna get REAL bad for you.
The camera fades out on the backstage scene.
We'll see that match a little bit later on, but right now, we're ready for the second of five matches between Johnny Smiles's friends and the Black Plague. "All Star" by Smash Mouth is playing over the arena sound system, bringing forth Moy Lazzario. There's no doubt that he's an accomplished wrestler, but the same can be said for Lorenzo Vasquez, who may have an edge on Moy Lazzario in terms of sheer viciousness and technical focus. Moy Lazzario enters the ring and poses for the crowd, which gives him a good-sized round of cheers, then turns and waits for the entrance of Lorenzo Vasquez.
"Kiss My Ass" by Ted Nugent begins playing, and the crowd explodes into boos as "The Barcelona Assassin" Lorenzo Vasquez steps out of the backstage area, accompanied by Rebecca Black. Earlier tonight, his teammates, Brujah and Desmond, emerged victorious over the Heavy Metal Express with some help from Rebecca Black, and you know that Lorenzo Vasquez would like to continue the successful streak for the Black Plague if at all possible. He's carrying a microphone, and staring down the aisle at Moy Lazzario, with no shortage of confidence showing on his face. He raises the microphone to talk.
L. Vasquez: Could somebody please, PLEASE tell me why I'm even bothering to get in the ring with this worthless fuck!? Look at him. He's not even bush-league material. He shouldn't even be on TV. No, fuck that, this human piece of shit shouldn't even be allowed to live. I've got half a mind to just take a count-out and hit the hotel early tonight. I mean... who the hell has this worthless bitch EVER beaten to deserve to be in the same wrestling company as me!?
The crowd boos, but Moy Lazzario just snatched up a microphone from outside the ring, and he turns to face Lorenzo Vasquez.
M. Lazzario: So let me get this straight. The Barcelona Asshole is out here, wondering who I've ever beaten in this wrestling company!? For your information, two years ago, I beat your little buddy Troy Black! THAT'S who I've beaten!
The crowd cheers loudly, remembering that incident... two years ago, Moy Lazzario did in fact defeat a battered, wounded Troy Black the night after Wrestlewar! Lorenzo Vasquez doesn't look at all happy about having that brought up, and he raises the microphone to speak, but Moy Lazzario cuts him off.
M. Lazzario: But as far as I'm concerned, maybe you shouldn't get in here with me tonight. I mean... it wouldn't look too good for your Black Plague if I beat the crap out of you just like I did to Troy two years ago. In fact, what I think you should do is turn around, head backstage, and hit the showers... because God knows that'd be the only shower your dirty ass has had in the past ten years!!
That did it! Lorenzo Vasquez throws aside the microphone, runs to the ring, and slides inside... and Moy Lazzario is waiting on him, and attacks him as he comes inside! VCW referee Bobcat McGavin is in the ring to officiate, and this match is underway!!
"The Barcelona
Assassin" Lorenzo Vasquez
w/Rebecca Black
vs.
Moy Lazzario
Moy Lazzario opens the match strongly against Lorenzo Vasquez, pummelling him as he gets in the ring, then taking him down with a few quick suplexes, dropkicks, and takedowns. After charging in and getting taken down a few times, Lorenzo Vasquez backs up and begins approaching more cautiously, eventually locking up with Moy Lazzario. Even this doesn't bring him much success, though, as Moy Lazzario slips behind him and hits a belly-to-back suplex, then puts on a side headlock. Lorenzo Vasquez gets up, fighting out of the headlock, and goes for a belly-to-back suplex of his own, but Moy Lazzario flips out behind him, and blasts him in the face with a savate kick as he gets up! He goes for the cover, but gets only two and a half.
Lorenzo Vasquez rolls out of the ring to catch his breath and consult with Rebecca Black, but Moy Lazzario charges him, leaping out with a plancha... but Rebecca Black pushes Lorenzo Vasquez out of the way, and Moy Lazzario hits her with the plancha instead! Lorenzo Vasquez and Moy Lazzario both get to their feet... and Lorenzo Vasquez sees that Moy Lazzario just took Rebecca Black down, and goes berserk! He charges Moy Lazzario with a flurry of punches and kneelifts, then takes him head-first into several of the various fixtures at ringside, then grabs his right arm and smashes it forcefully into the steel ringpost.
He rolls Moy Lazzario back into the ring and continues his offense, attacking Moy Lazzario's right arm with a vicious focus, both setting up the Barcelona Armbar and limiting Moy Lazzario's ability to execute his Slingshot Suplex. Arm twists, kneedrops to the arm, and armbreakers all take their toll on Moy Lazzario, and in between attacks to the arm Lorenzo Vasquez beats the stuffing out of Moy Lazzario with a variety of suplexes and slams, in addition to some old-fashioned right-hand punches. Eventually, Lorenzo Vasquez hauls him up... he's going for a single-arm DDT, and this often sets up the Barcelona Armbar! But Moy Lazzario backdrops his way out of it!
Lorenzo Vasquez gets up and charges, but Moy Lazzario drops down and takes him off his feet with a drop-toe hold! Lorenzo Vasquez gets back up, but Moy Lazzario grabs him and whips him into the ropes, then runs into the other side... and jumps on him with a Thesz press!! And now he's raining down punches on Lorenzo Vasquez, though his right hands seem a little sluggish and weak. Moy Lazzario continues his comeback, taking Lorenzo Vasquez down with a Frankensteiner for two and a half. Lorenzo Vasquez gets up... and Moy Lazzario puts him in a standing headscissors... piledriver! But he only gets two and three-quarters on the pin attempt. Moy Lazzario goes up to the top turnbuckle... FLYING DROPKICK!! That could do it! Moy Lazzario goes for the pin... but Rebecca Black has Bobcat McGavin distracted! Moy Lazzario could have it here... Lorenzo Vasquez isn't moving... but Rebecca Black has the referee distracted!
Moy Lazzario looks around, then gets up to go alert Bobcat McGavin to what's going on... but wait a minute! Someone's coming out of the backstage area... Rex Richards!! He had some problems with Moy Lazzario last week... and he's sliding into the ring right now! He's getting up... and he has a chain around his fist! Moy Lazzario turns around... and Rex Richards lays him out with a chain-assisted blow to the side of the head! He rolls out of the ring and begins high-tailing it backstage, just as Bobcat McGavin turns away from Rebecca Black. Lorenzo Vasquez is getting back up, and Moy Lazzario pulls himself shakily to his feet as well... but Lorenzo Vasquez was waiting on him! Kick to the midsection!! Single-arm DDT!! And Lorenzo Vasquez flows into the Barcelona Armbar! Moy Lazzario is struggling, flailing around and reaching for the ropes... and he taps out! Lorenzo Vasquez wins!!

The crowd boos loudly as Lorenzo Vasquez gets up and has his hands raised in victory by Bobcat McGavin. This makes it twice that the Black Plague has emerged with the victory over Johnny Smiles's group of friends. In order for Johnny and friends to get the better of the five matches tonight, they'll have to win all three of the rest of the matches, and considering the level of competition involved, that's a nearly superhuman task to ask of anybody! Lorenzo Vasquez rolls out of the ring and gives Rebecca Black a quick hug, then heads backstage, stopping briefly to point back into the ring and badmouth Moy Lazzario, who's cradling his arm in pain and holding the side of his head where he was hit with a chain. Shortly after Lorenzo Vasquez leaves, Moy Lazzario also rolls out of the ring and goes backstage, continuing to hold his arm in pain.
Our next match is the triangle match for the VCW World Tag Team Titles. "Smells Like Nirvana" by Weird Al Yankovic begins playing over the arena sound system, and the crowd boos... but here come the VCW World Tag Team Champions, the Middle-Aged Outlaws, along with Jesse Smark... and... oh, good Lord... they've spraypainted the VCW World Tag Team Title belts!! The letters "M.A.O." are spraypainted across each title belt!! Hunk Higgins stands proudly playing air guitar on his title belt as Ruby Richard Cage holds his title over his head. They enter the ring, and Ruby Richard Cage spins around, pointing at the crowd, before making the Ruby Cutter sign, while Hunk Higgins rips off his tank top and throws it into the crowd, then begins posing and flexing his muscles. As the fanfare surrounding their entrance dies down, Ruby Richard Cage grabs a microphone.
R.R. Cage: Dudes and dudettes, cats and chicks, and all you little kids out there, the baby boomer generation proudly brings to you the reigning ONE-TIME! ONE-TIME! ONE-TIME! ... VCW TAG team CHAMPIONS of the WOOOORRRLD... "The Immortal" Hunk Higgins... Ruby Richard Cage... the MIDDLE-AGED OUTLAWS!!!
H. Higgins: And brother, if you're not down with that, we've got two words for ya... TOUGH CRAP!!
The crowd boos, but Ruby Richard Cage and Hunk Higgins have the ill-gotten, vandalizeed VCW World Tag Team Titles to back that claim up. They're the VCW World Tag Team Champions, by hook or crook... and now Hunk Higgins has the microphone.
H. Higgins: Well, you know somethin', Hunkamaniacs, Commissioner Applebee can make all the decisions he wants, brother, but that doesn't change the fact that this is where the power lies. Just like Hunkamania's gonna live forever and a day, these title belts are staying with us for the rest of eternity, brother. Me and the big man are ready to take on all challengers and keep these belts around our waists, brother... and if the Ontario Colour Show and the Hammer of the Gods want a title shot, then I'm gonna put these titles on the line and demand that those stinking cowards come down out of the rafters and face me like men, brother. So Ontario Colour Show... Hammer of the Gods... what'cha gonna do when the forty-two inch ANACONDAS, the big man Ruby Richard Cage, and the VCW World Tag Team Champions RUN WILD ON YOU!?!?
R.R. Cage: Yeah!! You hear that!? We're the champions!! These title belts are ours, pal! I'm JACKED to the MOON, and somebody's gonna get BANGED!! Idol... Solomon... Color Show... get out here, because I'm feeling JACKED UP enough to BANG all four of your punk asses right here, right now!!
"Kashmir" by Led Zeppelin begins playing over the arena sound system, bringing forth Jacob Idol and Rob Solomon of the Hammer of the Gods, along with the VCW T & A Champion, Jasmina Chastity. Despite their confident front earlier, one would think that they have to be really focused on this match. This is their last shot at any VCW titles for sixty days. If they walk out of here empty-handed tonight, they'll be out of the title picture for a considerable period of time. They enter the ring... but they're saying something to the Middle-Aged Outlaws! It looks like some kind of bargain's being struck... and Jacob Idol and Rob Solomon just moved to stand beside the Middle-Aged Outlaws! All four of them are now awaiting the entrance of the Ontario Colour Show.
"Until It Sleeps" by Metallica begins playing over the arena sound system, and here they come. Owen Addison and Paul Canyon, the Ontario Colour Show, step out of the backstage area, accompanied by Jennie, to a burst of loud cheers from the crowd. They're heading for the ring with purpose... but inside, four men await them. That's not stopping them, though... they slide into the ring, and are immediately attacked by their four opponents! Brendan Powers enters the ring to officiate this match, and it's beginning now!

Hammer of the Gods
(Jacob Idol & Rob Solomon)

As the gang attack on the Ontario Colour Show is broken up by Brendan Powers, the match ends up with Jacob Idol starting things off against Owen Addison, and predictably, he starts with a lockup and arm twist. Jacob Idol begins targeting Owen Addison's often-injured right shoulder with a series of attacks... but Owen Addison's expecting that by now, and counters by twisting out of the arm twist and wrapping around behind Jacob Idol. He goes for a German suplex... but Ruby Richard Cage reaches out and grabs Jacob Idol's hands, blocking the German suplex attempt! Jacob Idol brings a leg up behind him in a backward kick to Owen Addison's groin, breaking the waistlock and doubling Owen Addison over, then tags in Ruby Richard Cage.
Ruby Richard Cage works over Owen Addison with a few punches, kicks, and basic moves, then tags in Hunk Higgins, who steps in and knocks Owen Addison off his feet with a clothesline. He gives him a vertical suplex, then goes for an elbowdrop... but Owen Addison gets out of the way! Owen Addison tags in Paul Canyon, and he runs in, taking Hunk Higgins down with a dropkick! He runs into the ropes... but Jacob Idol trips him on the outside! Paul Canyon gets up, but Hunk Higgins drills him with a right hand, then tags in Rob Solomon. The Hammer of the Gods and the Middle-Aged Outlaws are working together to take down the Ontario Colour Show!
Rob Solomon begins taking apart Paul Canyon with stiff kicks and suplexes, beating him senseless. With Paul Canyon reeling, Rob Solomon lashes out with another kick to the midsection... but Paul Canyon catches his foot! Rob Solomon goes for an enzuigiri, but Paul Canyon ducks! Rob Solomon gets up, and Paul Canyon drills him with a kick to the midsection, then hooks him for a vertical suplex... but Hunk Higgins grabs his feet from outside of the ring, and pulls him to the outside! Hunk Higgins, Ruby Richard Cage, and Jacob Idol attack Paul Canyon three-on-one on the outside of the ring, ignoring Brendan Powers's orders to cease the attack. After all, what's he going to do, call for a disqualification and ensure that the titles remain with the Middle-Aged Outlaws?
Paul Canyon is rolled into the ring once again, and the Hammer of the Gods continue to work him over, with the Middle-Aged Outlaws occasionally interfering from the outside to cut off any attempted comebacks by Paul Canyon. After several minutes, Rob Solomon takes Paul Canyon down with a snap suplex, then goes up to the top turnbuckle, waiting as Paul Canyon gets up. Paul Canyon gets to his feet... and Rob Solomon comes off the top turnbuckle with a flying axhandle... but Paul Canyon blocks it with a dropkick!! Both men are down... Rob Solomon's slowly getting to his feet, and Paul Canyon's crawling to his corner!
Rob Solomon won't make it in time to stop him... but Ruby Richard Cage just jumped up on the apron, yelling some sort of gibberish about checking Paul Canyon's boots to Brendan Powers. Brendan Powers is distracted as Paul Canyon makes the tag, and Owen Addison comes in, viciously tearing into Rob Solomon... only to be sent back to his corner by Brendan Powers, who didn't see the tag due to Ruby Richard Cage's distraction! Brendan Powers and Owen Addison begin arguing about the tag... and with Brendan Powers distracted, the Middle-Aged Outlaws drag Paul Canyon into their corner for a four-on-one attack with the Hammer of the Gods! Owen Addison finally gives up the argument and goes back into his corner, and Jacob Idol and the Middle-Aged Outlaws scurry out of the ring.
The Hammer of the Gods continues to work over Paul Canyon for a few more minutes, isolating him in their corner. They seem to have matters well in hand... and now Hunk Higgins is asking for a tag! Jacob Idol looks at Rob Solomon and shrugs, then tags in Hunk Higgins. Hunk Higgins pulls Paul Canyon up and bodyslams him, then bounces off the ropes... BIG LEG DROP!! That's his move! Hunk Higgins goes for the cover... and only gets two and nine-tenths!! He argues the count with Brendan Powers, to no avail, then bounces off the ropes... he goes for a second Big Leg Drop, and misses!! Paul Canyon begins crawling to his corner... but Jacob Idol and Rob Solomon run around to the other side of the ring, and pull Owen Addison off of the apron!! They begin attacking him two-on-one, and there's nobody for Paul Canyon to tag!
Brendan Powers turns and orders Jacob Idol and Rob Solomon to return to their corner... but Ruby Richard Cage just slid one of the VCW World Tag Team Titles into the ring at Hunk Higgins! Hunk Higgins grabs it as he gets up, and Paul Canyon turns around... and Hunk Higgins nails him with the belt!! Brendan Powers was too busy trying to get Idol and Solomon away from Owen Addison to see that! Hunk Higgins covers Paul Canyon, and Brendan Powers turns around... NO!! NOT AGAIN!! Brendan Powers counts... but Rob Solomon comes off the top turnbuckle with the Katana Legdrop to the back of Hunk Higgins's head, breaking the pin at the last possible fraction of a second!
Rob Solomon drags Hunk Higgins's fallen body to the side of the ring, then tags himself in... and now he's making the cover on Paul Canyon! But Ruby Richard Cage enters the ring and pulls Rob Solomon up... RUBY CUTTER!! Rob Solomon just took the Ruby Cutter! Jacob Idol pulls Ruby Richard Cage out of the ring and begins attacking him... but Jesse Smark comes from behind and nails him with a low blow! Meanwhile, Owen Addison enters the ring, and Paul Canyon rolls over and crawls to his corner... and he makes the tag! Owen Addison enters the ring, as Rob Solomon starts to get up from the Ruby Cutter... Owen picks him up!! TOMBSTONE!! Owen Addison makes the cover... and Hunk Higgins charges in, breaking the pin with a Big Leg Drop to the back of Owen Addison's head! Paul Canyon's slowly climbing to the top turnbuckle as Hunk Higgins pulls Owen off and covers him... but he's not one of the legal men! He gets up, frustrated... but Paul Canyon's perched up on the top turnbuckle waiting for him, and nails him with a flying dropkick!
Hunk Higgins goes down and rolls out of the ring, and Paul Canyon goes up to one of the top turnbuckles... and wipes both Jacob Idol and Ruby Richard Cage out with a flying cross bodypress to the floor! Owen Addison and Rob Solomon both get up slowly and groggily... Rob Solomon charges with a lariat, but Owen Addison ducks and wraps around behind Rob Solomon with a waistlock... BACKDROP DRIVER!! Rob Solomon just got planted right on his head, and Owen Addison makes the cover... and gets the three count! The Ontario Colour Show just won the VCW World Tag Team Titles again!!

(The Ontario Colour Show won the VCW World Tag Team Titles.)
The crowd explodes into cheers as Owen Addison's hand is raised in victory. Fatigued from the match, he drops down and rolls out of the ring and helps Paul Canyon to his feet on the outside. They go to the timekeeper's table and reclaim the VCW World Tag Team Title belts, as Jennie grabs Jasmina Chastity by the hair and drops her with a punch to the side of the head. With their enemies all laid out on the floor, they leave the ring, proudly holding the title belts high in the air as they head backstage, with the crowd cheering after them.
Hold on just a second... the Middle-Aged Outlaws and the Hammer of the Gods are starting to get back to their feet. Rob Solomon seems the worst for wear after taking both a Tombstone and a backdrop driver, but both teams seem rather battered... and neither team seems very happy. Jacob Idol and Rob Solomon are arguing with the Middle-Aged Outlaws... and Rob Solomon just shoved Hunk Higgins!! Fists start flying, and there's a brawl breaking out between the Hammer of the Gods and the Middle-Aged Outlaws... and surprisingly, the Outlaws seem to be holding their own! The Hammer of the Gods took the majority of the punishment in that match, and they're not at one hundred percent for this post-match brawl!
But wait... here comes an equalizer. Julian Page comes running out of the backstage area, and he snatches Rob Solomon's hockey stick up off of the apron! He comes from behind and brings it down across Hunk Higgins's back, then hands it off to Rob Solomon, who continues to flail away at Hunk Higgins with it. He grabs Ruby Richard Cage's shoulder and spins him around... kick to the midsection! DDT on the floor!! Those protective mats aren't very thick or protective at all, and that's solid concrete beneath them... Ruby Richard Cage may be out cold! And now Julian Page and Jacob Idol are stomping away at Ruby Richard Cage, as Rob Solomon continues to lay in shots on Hunk Higgins. Finally, with a few contempt-filled glances at the fallen Middle-Aged Outlaws, the Hammer of the Gods head backstage to the boos of the crowd. VCW trainers come out to aid the fallen former VCW World Tag Team Champions and help them backstage.
After the Middle-Aged Outlaws have been helped backstage, "Lovefool" by the Cardigans begins playing over the arena sound system, bringing forth Stacey Lockman, dressed in a pink singlet for her match, to a mild round of cheers from the crowd. She has quite the challenge ahead of her when she faces Amy Lin tonight, but it's a challenge that she must rise to if her teammates are to have any hope of winning a majority of their matches against the Black Plague tonight. While it mustn't be overlooked that Stacey Lockman has wrestling talent in her genetics in addition to having picked up a few pointers from her father and Ken Collins, Amy Lin has a huge advantage in terms of experience and training, and that will be a tough obstacle for Stacey Lockman to overcome.
"You Oughtta Know" by Alanis Morissette begins playing over the arena sound system, and the crowd explodes into boos as Amy Lin comes out of the backstage area with Rebecca Black, wearing a silver tube top and leather pants for this match. They seem amused by the idea of Amy facing Stacey, and walk to the ring conversing and giggling like a pair of demented schoolgirls. Amy Lin enters the ring and poses on one of the top turnbuckles to a huge round of boos with a few cheers and catcalls from some of the men in the crowd. She turns around, and Jerry Rogers enters the ring, calling for the bell to begin the match!
Amy Lin
w/Rebecca Black
vs.
Stacey Lockman
Stacey Lockman cautiously advances for a lockup... and Amy Lin tears into her with a series of swift kicks and punches, pummelling her into oblivion. She backs Stacey Lockman into a corner and nails her with a rapid, lethal combination of punches and kicks, causing her to slump in the corner, then puts a boot to her throat, only breaking when Jerry Rogers threatens her with disqualification. She throws Stacey Lockman to the outside of the ring, then follows her out and bashes her head-first into several hard, unforgiving objects at ringside. Stacey Lockman is left helpless and motionless on the floor, and Amy Lin distracts Jerry Rogers while Rebecca Black gets in a few kicks on her fallen body, then rolls her in.
Amy Lin climbs inside as well, and begins stomping at Stacey Lockman, just toying with her at this point. She hauls her up and slaps her in the face, then tosses her aside to pose for the crowd. She begins taunting Stacey Lockman, daring her to get up one more time... and Stacey Lockman reaches into the cleavage of her singlet as she gets up, unseen by Amy Lin! She's got something in her hand, and neither Amy Lin nor Jerry Rogers seem to notice! Amy Lin aims a spin kick at her head, but Stacey ducks suddenly. Amy turns around, thrown off-balance after missing the kick... and Stacey nails her in the side of the head with a pair of brass knuckles! Amy Lin crumples to the mat, and Stacey Lockman stuffs the brass knuckles back into her cleavage, playing innocent when Jerry Rogers asks her about it. That was a page right out of her father's offensive playbook, and it may have made the difference in this match!
Amy Lin's down... and Stacey Lockman puts on the California Crossface!! Amy Lin's a long way from the ropes, and halfway out of it after taking that blow from the brass knuckles. Stacey Lockman's leaning back on it... she hasn't had a chance to work over Amy's shoulder or neck, but Amy Lin's in the middle of the ring and semi-conscious! Will Amy Lin suffer the indignity of submitting to a non-wrestler in her VCW debut!? She doesn't seem like she's going to be fighting her way out of this... but Rebecca Black just reached into the ring and grabbed Amy's foot, pulling her back and putting her foot on the ropes! She points it out to Jerry Rogers, who orders the hold broken... and Stacey Lockman doesn't look happy about that at all.
Stacey Lockman pulls Amy Lin up, and slips behind her. She goes for a German suplex, but Amy Lin flips out behind her! Stacey Lockman turns around, and Amy Lin whips her into the ropes and runs into the other side... and nails her with a spinning leg lariat when they meet in the middle! Stacey Lockman begins trying to get up... and Amy Lin nails her with a kick to the midsection! And now a double arm DDT!! Stacey's down, and Amy turns her over on her back and goes up to the top turnbuckle... could this be... MOONSAULT!! Amy Lin just hit Stacey Lockman with the Moonsault... and Stacey's not getting up after that. Jerry Rogers makes the three count, and Amy Lin wins this match.
Amy Lin
pinned Stacey Lockman with the Moonsault in 0:03:14.
Rating: DUD
The crowd boos loudly as Amy Lin's hands are raised in victory after this match... and now she's turning and attacking Stacey Lockman after the match, stomping at her repeatedly! Come on, this isn't necessary... but now she just pulled the brass knuckles out of her cleavage! Amy Lin crouches over Stacey Lockman and begins drilling her repeatedly in the face with the brass knuckles, opening her up rapidly, and continues to pummel her even as she begins bleeding heavily. For God's sake... Amy Lin has won this match... what more does she need to prove here!? Why is she destroying Stacey Lockman like this!? Wait a second... someone's coming out of the backstage area... it's Ken Collins! He runs to the ring, tossing Rebecca Black out of the way as she moves to stand in his way. He slides into the ring, but Amy Lin isn't backing down, though... she gets up and motions for him to bring it on!
Ken Collins advances on Amy Lin, and she takes a swing at him with the brass knuckles... but Ken Collins ducks and slips behind her... German suplex!! Ken Collins just nailed Amy Lin with a vicious German suplex, and she quickly rolls out of the ring, where Rebecca Black puts an arm around her and begins trying to console her. Rebecca and Amy retreat up the entrance ramp as Ken Collins stands guard over Stacey Lockman, yelling threats at him as they disappear backstage. After they're gone, Ken Collins picks up Stacey Lockman and carries her backstage, still bleeding and battered. He may want to take her to the trainers... she could be seriously hurt.
"Walk" by Pantera begins playing over the arena sound system, and what's about to follow could be quite a match. Here comes "Macho Man" Randy Savage, and he has a title shot... a shot at the VCW Television Champion, Tim Bell. The crowd boos, remembering his attack on Stiff Competition earlier this evening, and Randy Savage yells at them and makes threats to a few particularly boisterous fans on his way to the ring. Once in the ring, he waits for Tim Bell to approach, stalking around like a caged predator at feeding time.
"Through The Never" by Metallica begins playing next, and here comes Tim Bell, wearing the VCW Television Title! The crowd cheers as he makes his way to the ring, looking a little uneasy at the prospect of facing "Macho Man" Randy Savage, and with good reason. With all due respect to Tim Bell, Randy Savage has been a world champion in multiple wrestling companies... he's a living legend, and in terms of experience, especially in big matches, he has a huge advantage over Tim Bell. The champion may actually be the underdog in this match. Tim Bell enters the ring and poses with the title, then hands it off to Linda Peterson and cautiously prepares to lock up with Randy Savage as Linda Peterson calls for the bell.
For the VCW Television Title:
Tim Bell (c)
vs.
"Macho Man" Randy Savage
Tim Bell starts the match successfully, taking Randy Savage down several times and generally outwrestling him. Tim Bell is younger, quicker, and probably more technically skilled than Randy Savage, and he's all of those traits to stay one step ahead in the early portions of the match. Tim Bell quickly decides to target Randy Savage's knees, which is probably a good bet... those knees have been in poor condition for quite some time now. Tim Bell works over his right knee a little bit, then tosses him out of the ring and jumps out onto him with a plancha. But that proves to be a mistake, as outside the ring, Randy Savage is more at home in a brawling environment. He reverses a whip to the guardrail from Tim Bell, and takes control of the match, smashing Tim Bell head-first into objects at ringside and drilling him with right hands before taking the match back into the ring.
In the ring, Randy Savage goes on the attack again, dispensing a plain, no-frills beating to Tim Bell. Given his vast experience edge, he knows that Tim Bell's a superior technical wrestler and that it would be best to keep this match simple and a bit on the brutal side, avoiding technical wrestling exchanges with Tim Bell. He tears into Tim Bell with simple, but relentless and effective offense, taking firm control of the match. After a few minutes of beating on Tim Bell, Randy Savage applies a sleeperhold... but Tim Bell breaks it with a jawbreaker! Both men stay down for a while after that, and Randy Savage gets up slightly faster than Tim Bell, whipping him to the ropes... but Tim Bell ducks under a clothesline from Randy Savage, and comes off the other side with a leaping shoulderblock, knocking the Macho Man off his feet!
Tim Bell springs to life again, bringing Randy Savage down with repeated quick takedowns and dropkicks, then picking up the impact of his offense with several bone-jarring suplexes. In control of the match again, Tim Bell goes back to work on the right knee, dropping elbows into it repeatedly and wearing it down. After a few minutes, he seems to think it's time to go in for the kill, and hits a kneebreaker, then applies a figure-four leglock. Randy Savage is caught in the middle of the ring, but he's never been one to submit easily... he's struggling, fighting the pain, and trying to break the hold! There's no question that Randy Savage is tough, and he's going to fight this hold with everything he has before submitting. He's trying to go for the ropes... but Tim Bell pulls him back into the center of the ring, keeping him trapped in the figure-four! Now he's trying to turn it, and that's working a little better... he's a little larger than Tim Bell, and more readily able to turn the move over. Slowly, he manages to turn the hold, and now Tim Bell has to release it. Randy Savage has survived the figure-four leglock!
Tim Bell's going up to the top turnbuckle now, as Randy Savage gets up... and he goes for a flying cross bodypress, but Randy Savage ducks out of the way! Tim Bell wipes out on the mat, and as he and Randy Savage get up, Randy Savage whips him into the corner, then catches him with a series of right hands. Randy Savage goes back on the offense, now limping severely, but still intent on destroying Tim Bell. He plants him with a piledriver and gets a count of two and three-quarters... but now he's going up! Randy Savage is climbing to the top turnbuckle... but he's really slowed down by his wounded leg, and Tim Bell's up too! Tim Bell meets him at the top turnbuckle, and nails him with a punch... and he's going to go for the Top-Rope Frankensteiner! He gets in position... and Randy Savage nails him with a low blow!! Tim Bell doubles over and falls off of the turnbuckle into a heap on the mat, and Randy Savage is pulling himself back up! Tim Bell's down, and Randy Savage is on top of the turnbuckle... FLYING ELBOWDROP!! That could have done it... but Randy Savage is clutching his knee in pain, not going for the cover! He took some of that landing on his knee, and it's impairing him from making the pin!
Wait a second... some people are coming from the backstage entrance... it's Bass Rogers and Dean Sanders, Stiff Competition! They still look a little bit battered and worse for wear, but they're on their way to the ring! Randy Savage is finally crawling across Tim Bell, and Linda Peterson goes for the count... but Bass Rogers grabs Randy Savage's leg and pulls him out of the ring at two and a half! Randy Savage gets up, and Bass Rogers knocks him off his feet with a massive right hand! Linda Peterson calls for the disqualification immediately, and Bass Rogers and Dean Sanders may have just cost Randy Savage the VCW Television Title!
Randy
Savage defeated Tim Bell via disqualification in 0:13:07.
Rating: **
(Tim Bell retained the VCW Television Title.)
Bass Rogers rolls Randy Savage into the ring, and Dean Sanders climbs inside with him. The match is over, but I don't think that matters. Bass Rogers goes up to the top turnbuckle, as Dean Sanders pulls Randy Savage up, and drives him HARD into the mat with a power bomb!! And now he clears out of the way for Bass Rogers, on the top turnbuckle... MOONSAULT!! Stiff Competition just paid Randy Savage back for that attack earlier in the night, and now they're leaving the ring, leaving him laid out beside Tim Bell! Stiff Competition is proving to be a bigger thorn in the sides of Hell's Bikers and Randy Savage than they bargained for...
Hold on, as Stiff Competition head backstage, we understand that there's a camera in Troy Black's locker room, recording footage as Tony Garcia prepares to face "The California Crippler" Ken Collins. Let's go to that now...
Backstage...
As Tony Garcia prepares for his match, Troy Black sits on a chair behind Amy Lin, who is sitting on the floor, rubbing and massaging the back of her neck with his fingers. Lorenzo Vasquez is sitting back relaxing alongside Rebecca Black, and Brujah and Desmond stand in the background, calmly leaning against the wall.
T. Black: Is it feeling any better?
A. Lin: It's still a little sore. That son of a bitch nearly broke my neck with that suplex...
T. Black: Believe me, I know the feeling... and I don't like it one bit. Tony, could you do me a favor?
Tony Garcia looks up from his pre-match preparations.
T. Garcia: Sure thing, Troy. What do you need?
T. Black: I want you to go out there and hurt Ken Collins. Badly. Don't just beat him... punish him. Make him sorry he ever crossed paths with us. Make him sorry that he ever put his hands on Amy.
T. Garcia: Ken Collins? Heh... don't worry, I won't even break a sweat when I break him in half. He's as good as dead, Troy... no problem.
Rebecca Black gets up, strolling over to Troy Black and Amy Lin.
R. Black: Need someone else to take over on massage duties for a while? I have really talented hands...
Troy Black looks up at Rebecca, with a faint smirk on his face.
T. Black: Yeah, I know what you're thinking... and I saw her first. This one's mine.
R. Black: Oh, come on... you won't even share with the rest of the family? You can borrow Lorenzo for a while in return...
Lorenzo Vasquez suddenly bolts up from his relaxed position in the chair.
L. Vasquez: The hell he can! There's no fucking way in--
T. Garcia: Yeah, besides... I want you in my corner for this match. Just in case.
R. Black: Okay, fine. You guys are no fun...
T. Black: Remember, Tony. I don't want you to beat Ken Collins... I want you to crush him, completely. Make sure you do that.
T. Garcia: Hey, don't worry... I've got it covered. Let's do this.
Tony Garcia and Rebecca Black leave the locker room, as the camera fades out on the locker room scene.
Ken Collins could be in serious trouble now. When Tony Garcia sets his mind on injuring somebody, he's more than capable of doing that. He has over a hundred pounds of weight advantage against Ken Collins, several years of experience, and Rebecca Black in his corner... Ken Collins could be in serious trouble tonight. But here he comes, as "Liquid Mercury" by Jimmy Page kicks on over the arena sound system, and the crowd cheers as "The California Crippler" Ken Collins steps out of the backstage area and makes his way to the ring. He doesn't seem particularly concerned, but neither does he appear to be taking Tony Garcia for granted. He's approaching this just as he would any other match, and perhaps that's best, neither getting psyched out by Tony Garcia nor being overconfident.
But as "I, Zombie (Europe In The Raw Mix)" by White Zombie begins playing over the arena sound system, and Tony Garcia steps out of the backstage entrance with Rebecca Black at his side and his wooden axe handle in his hands, Ken Collins seems a little less confident. He's wrestling a three-hundred plus pound veteran of over twenty years who carries a wooden axe handle and is known as one of the toughest men in the sport... how do you beat a man like that!? It'll take every bit of Ken Collins's quickness, technical skill, and high-flying prowess to battle Tony Garcia with any success tonight. Tony Garcia lays the axe handle on the ring apron and steps into the ring slowly, observing Ken Collins as if plotting how best to take him apart. Bobcat McGavin's in the ring to officiate, and this match is underway!
"The California Crippler" Ken Collins
vs.
Tony Garcia
w/Rebecca Black
Ken Collins starts off attacking viciously, punching, chopping, and kicking at Tony Garcia, then whipping him into a corner. In the corner, Ken Collins begins unloading brutally stiff chop into his chest... but Tony Garcia's barely registering them! He's daring Ken Collins to keep hitting him... and Ken Collins obliges him! Those chops are connecting with resounding impact, but Tony Garcia's just absorbing them! Tony Garcia retaliates almost carelessly, mauling Ken Collins with a massive right hand like a grizzly bear swatting a yapping dog aside, sending Ken Collins flying backwards.
Tony Garcia takes control of the match, savagely attacking the lower back of Ken Collins, setting him up for the Torture Rack. Ken Collins uses his technical skill to frequently come back and retaliate, but each time Tony Garcia just absorbs everything thrown at him, barely registering it, and eventually finds an opening to smash Ken Collins back down to the mat with a crushing slam or a clubbing blow from one of his massive hands. Realizing that wearing down Tony Garcia is like trying to chop down a tree with a butterknife, Ken Collins shifts tactics and tries to score quick pins with small packages and roll ups... but Tony Garcia isn't just a monster, he's a savvy veteran, and manages to kick out at two each time. And in between Ken Collins's brief bursts of offense, Tony Garcia continues to maul him and bounce him around the ring like a rubber ball.
Tony Garcia continues his dominance for several more minutes, ruthlessly attacking Ken Collins's back, not once going for a pin or submission attempt. He's taking his mission seriously... he wants to destroy Ken Collins for Troy Black! But when he whips Ken Collins into the corner, he hesitates to bellow to the crowd before charging in with a shoulderblock... and Ken Collins moves out of the way! Tony Garcia's right shoulder collides with the steel ringpost... and Ken Collins sees his opening! He smells blood now, and he immediately targets Tony Garcia's shoulder! But even now, can he overcome Tony Garcia and capitalize on this weakness?
Ken Collins does his best to shut out the pain in his back as he continues to go after the shoulder with a single-minded focus, twisting the arm and driving elbows into his shoulder. Tony Garcia spills out of the ring, and Ken Collins quickly lunges out at him with a plancha, keeping up the offense. Ken Collins continues to try to take Tony Garcia apart, sending him shoulder-first into the ringpost, ringsteps, and guardrail, tenaciously fighting him. Rebecca Black tries to come from behind and interfere, but Ken Collins turns and knocks her down with a chop across her ample chest, then refocuses on Tony Garcia without missing a beat. He rolls him back into the ring, then follows him in with a springboard clothesline, taking him down on the inside.
Ken Collins continues to wear down Tony Garcia's shoulder, but when he tries to pick him up for a shoulderbreaker, he encounters a problem... Tony Garcia's just too big, and his back is nowhere near full-strength. Tony Garcia blocks it and clobbers Ken Collins, and even with his arm weakened it's enough to send Ken Collins sprawling to the mat. Tony Garcia takes over, stepping up his offense to heavy-hitting moves like power bombs and spinebusters, but not going for the cover. But finally, after a bone-jarring chokeslam, he seems to think he's done enough... he's lifting Ken Collins... TORTURE RACK!! Ken Collins is in the Torture Rack... but Tony Garcia's weakened right side doesn't seem to have him all the way! Ken Collins slips out of the Torture Rack on the right side, hooking arms with Tony Garcia as he lands on his feet, then twisting around into a Tomikaze! Both men are down, but Ken Collins is out of the Torture Rack!
They both get up at the same time, Ken Collins heavily favoring his back. Tony Garcia whips him into the ropes, and tries to mow him down with a big clothesline... but Ken Collins ducks, then turns and lashes out with a savate kick... but Tony Garcia catches his foot... but Ken Collins jumps up and clocks him with an enzuigiri! Tony Garcia goes down, and Ken Collins pulls himself to his feet, then begins going up to the top turnbuckle as Tony Garcia gets up. Tony Garcia looks back at Ken Collins... FLYING DROPKICK!! Tony Garcia topples over like a giant oak tree, and Ken Collins crawls across him for the cover... but only gets two and three-quarters!! Tony Garcia kicked out of the Flying Dropkick! But Ken Collins isn't done yet... CALIFORNIA CROSSFACE!! He has the California Crossface on Tony Garcia in the middle of the ring, drawing a loud scream from Rebecca Black! Tony Garcia's not going to give up easily... but can even he fight his way out of the California Crossface with his shoulder heavily worn down? Rebecca Black's not close enough to pull Tony Garcia's foot to the ropes like she did with Amy Lin, even assuming she could budge Tony Garcia's massive weight... he'll have to make it to the ropes on his own!
Tony Garcia struggles, fighting desperately, and slowly begins dragging himself to the ropes. Ken Collins holds on, cinching in the hold, and pulling back on it... but slowly, Tony Garcia begins dragging himself to the ropes, inch by inch. After nearly a minute, Tony Garcia makes it to the ropes, and the look on Ken Collins's face as he releases the hold says it all... what does it take to beat this man!? Tony Garcia gets up, clutching his shoulder in pain... and Ken Collins grabs his arm, looking for an armbar takedown, but Tony Garcia shoves him into the turnbuckle hard with his free arm. Ken Collins staggers out... and Tony Garcia catches him with a HUGE powerslam! That may have taken the air out of Ken Collins completely... but Tony Garcia's not done yet... he pulls Ken Collins up into a standing headscissors, and KILLS him with a power bomb! Four out of five matches have now been won by the Black Plague... but Tony Garcia's not done! He picks up Ken Collins, fighting back the pain in his shoulder... and he lifts him in the Torture Rack! Come on, this is too much... Tony Garcia's doing exactly what Troy Black told him to do... he's looking to hurt Ken Collins! But someone's running out of the back... it's Johnny Smiles! He slides into the ring, and Tony Garcia drops Ken Collins... just in time for Johnny to nail him with a superkick! Tony Garcia falls backwards, and Johnny Smiles quickly snatches up his wooden axe handle from the apron! Tony Garcia gets up and rushes Johnny Smiles, but takes a blow to the ribs from the wooden axe handle, then a blow to the shoulder that sends him crashing to the mat in agony. Tony Garcia rolls out of the ring, clutching his shoulder, as Johnny Smiles grabs a microphone, standing over Ken Collins with the axe handle in hand. He looks oddly serious and emotional... this is a side of Johnny Smiles we haven't seen much in the past.
J. Smiles: Troy... all night long, I've watched your Black Plague reduce my friends to twitching heaps on the mat, one-by-one... and now I'm the only one left. I think the Johnnycoholics will understand just this once that I've left all the fun and games back in the locker room tonight. I may be the last thing standing between you and total domination of VCW... but I'm not going to let you win, Troy. For all of the Johnnycoholics... for everyone watching VCW, and everyone in VCW... I'm here to stop the Black Plague in its tracks, right here, tonight!
The crowd cheers, as Johnny Smiles stares down the aisle, past Rebecca Black and the retreating Tony Garcia. The Black Plague has won every match they've been involved in tonight, and this is the last one. Their momentum might still be brought to a halt if somehow, Johnny Smiles can find a way to defeat Troy Black... but is he up to the challenge? He may have to be... "For Whom The Bell Tolls" by Metallica begins playing, as the arena lights are replaced by dim silver-blue lights, and the crowd erupts in deafening boos. Troy Black steps out of the backstage entrance, with Amy Lin at his side, but instead of charging the ring he merely stops and grabs a microphone, as Tony Garcia steps past him and enters the backstage area.
T. Black: You want to try to stop ME? You say you won't let me win... it's not as if you have a choice. You're too insignificant to matter... Johnny Smiles will NEVER defeat Troy Black, not in this lifetime or in any other. You're the one who's in store for a reality check... and the reality is that you don't even belong in the same ring with me. You're about to learn the most painful lesson of your pathetic, miserable life.
Troy Black's heading to the ring, with Amy Lin at his side, meeting Rebecca Black on his way there. In the midst of it all, some trainers have helped Ken Collins out of the ring, and they begin helping him backstage as Troy Black enters the ring. Johnny Smiles drops the wooden axe handle and kicks it aside, and exchanges a brief staredown with Troy Black... and Bobcat McGavin enters the ring, calling for the bell! This match begins now!
Troy Black
w/Rebecca Black & Amy Lin
vs.
Johnny Smiles
Johnny Smiles opens up with a few takedowns and dropkicks that knock Troy Black down, but Troy Black just seems to shrug them off, as if accepting them as he looks for just the right opening to annihilate Johnny Smiles. He soon finds it, blocking a punch with near-inhuman reflexes, then hitting Johnny Smiles with a quick, vicious throat jab that sends him down. Troy Black begins taking Johnny Smiles apart, opening up on him with jabs, kicks, and a plethora of wrestling moves. Johnny Smiles has never been known for much defensive wrestling or counter-wrestling, and against the masterful skills of Troy Black, he's nearly defenseless.
Troy Black continues his dominance, taking Johnny Smiles to the outside of the ring, then diving out onto him with a tope. On the outside, Troy Black continues to brutally destroy Johnny Smiles, opening his forehead up by smashing him repeatedly into the ringpost, then rolling Johnny back into the ring and following him in with a springboard shoulderblock that knocks him off his feet as he gets up. Troy Black continues his assault relentlessly, destroying Johnny Smiles with kicks, suplexes, and jabs, never letting up for a second. It's becoming clear that Johnny Smiles is overmatched here... but if he wants to stop Troy Black, he has to somehow find a way to stand up to him and take the advantage back! With Johnny barely hanging in there, Troy Black goes for a piledriver... but Johnny Smiles backdrops out of it! Troy Black tries a sunset flip after the backdrop, but Johnny Smiles blocks that with a punch! Johnny Smiles whips Troy Black into the ropes, but Troy Black ducks under a clothesline from Johnny Smiles, then nearly decapitates him with a huge leaping clothesline right to the throat!
Troy Black goes back on the offensive, continuing to punish Johnny Smiles. The fact is that Johnny Smiles doesn't have the technical skill, high-flying skill, or inhuman stamina of Troy Black... his only real advantage is a modest size advantage, and Troy Black's no stranger to fighting men bigger than himself. Troy Black plants Johnny Smiles with a successful piledriver, then covers him, but only gets two and three-quarters. He goes up to the top turnbuckle as Johnny gets up, and leaps off with a flying clothesline... but Johnny ducks! Troy Black wipes out on the mat... and as he gets up, Johnny Smiles runs at him and takes him down with a swinging neckbreaker, drawing a huge round of cheers from the crowd! They know that this could be the only chance Johnny has at mounting a comeback!
With the crowd's cheers echoing throughout the arena, Johnny Smiles seems to find a new level of intensity, and hits Troy Black with a hurricane of unsophisticated, but effective offense. Several dropkicks take Troy Black down repeatedly, and Johnny picks up the tempo. He drops Troy Black on the back of his neck a few times with belly-to-back suplexes, then plants him with a Russian legsweep! He goes up to the top turnbuckle... and nails Troy Black with a flying elbowdrop! He hooks a leg... but only gets two and a half! Undaunted, Johnny Smiles puts Troy Black in a standing headscissors... piledriver!! Johnny Smiles covers again... and only gets two and a half AGAIN!!
Johnny Smiles pulls Troy Black into a standing headscissors again... POWER BOMB!! That could've... TROY SITS UP!! He's getting up... Johnny Smiles is caught off-guard by his sudden recovery, and doesn't have time to aim his superkick properly... and Troy grabs his foot! Troy Black takes him down by the foot, but Johnny Smiles is getting back up... and Troy Black nails him with a kick to the midsection! DOUBLE ARM DDT!! This could be it... the crowd's booing loudly... and Troy Black goes up to the top turnbuckle... BLACK DAGGER!! But Johnny Smiles rolls out of the way! Troy Black gets up, shaking out his hand... and turns right into a superkick... no, Troy Black ducks, and the superkick grazes Brendan Powers! Johnny Smiles turns around... and Troy Black nails him with a savate kick of his own! Troy Black's not done, though... he picks Johnny up, and plants him with a DDT!
Both Johnny and the referee Brendan Powers are down... and Troy Black's going out of the ring. He's got a chair... and he's climbing up to the top turnbuckle with it! Johnny Smiles is getting up... he starts to turn around... and Troy Black comes off the top with a flying chairshot... BUT JOHNNY SUPERKICKS THE CHAIR INTO HIS FACE!! Brendan Powers is starting to stir... Troy Black is down, and Johnny Smiles pulls him up in a fireman's carry... SMILEDRIVER ON THE CHAIR!! Johnny Smiles kicks the chair out of the ring, then makes the cover and hooks the leg as Brendan Powers comes around and makes the count... FOR TWO AND NINE TENTHS!! DAMN IT!! How the hell did Troy Black kick out of that!?
Johnny Smiles doesn't quite seem like he can believe it... but he quickly pulls Troy Black up! Kick to the midsection! Johnny Smiles with a double arm DDT!! And now Johnny Smiles is going up to the top turnbuckle... and he comes off with a Black Dagger of his own... but Troy Black gets a foot up into his face! NO!! Johnny Smiles collapses back, and starts to get up again... but Troy Black sits up! Troy Black quickly gets up and hits a kick to the midsection... no, Johnny Smiles catches his foot... but Troy Black connects with an enzuigiri! Johnny Smiles starts to get back up, but Troy Black hooks him... DOUBLE ARM DDT!! This could be it... Troy Black's going up to the top turnbuckle... BLACK DAGGER!! NO!! The crowd's booing deafeningly and praying for a miracle as Troy Black covers and Brendan Powers makes the count... but as his hand falls for the third time, it's clear there will be no miracles today.

The crowd explodes into deafening boos as Brendan Powers raises Troy Black's hand in victory, and Amy Lin and Rebecca Black join him in the ring. Johnny Smiles is laid out in the middle of the ring, beaten, as Troy Black celebrates this win... and who's left to stand in his way now? Their claims of a one hundred percent mortality rate weren't exaggerations... the Black Plague steamrolled over every member of the competition tonight, winning every single match they were a part of... can anybody stop them!? We're out of time for tonight... we'll see you next week!
