Monday Night Wrestling 02/26/01 (VCW 109)

Welcome, once again, to another exciting edition of VCW Monday Night Wrestling, coming to you from the Assembly Hall in Illinois! We've got a great show on hand tonight... and we can tell you right now that as a result of challenges made during the week, the main event for the night will feature David Wright Hubbard defending the VCW World Title one-on-one against Lance Errington! The Black Plague and the Hammer of the Gods are both in the building at full-strength, as well, so it's a good bet that we can expect some underhanded power plays from those factions. But at the same time...

Hold on a second, "Liquid Mercury" by Jimmy Page just started playing... and that brings out "The California Crippler" Ken Collins, along with Stacey Lockman! He's not scheduled to wrestle right now... but he's on his way to the ring. And he grabs a microphone, then turns to address the cheering crowd.

K. Collins: Two weeks ago... Troy Black sent Tony Garcia to hurt me after I suplexed Amy Lin to get her off of Stacey. But whether Troy Black likes to admit it or not... I wasn't hurt all that badly. I lost the match... but I survived the worst Tony Garcia had to offer, and I got up and walked away from it. But I do regret the way I handled that situation. No... if I had it to do over again, I would have given Amy Lin three German suplexes in a row, not just one.

The crowd cheers... but one has to...wait a minute, "You Oughtta Know" by Alanis Morissette begins playing over the arena sound system... and here comes Amy Lin! Unprotected by any other members of the Black Plague, she's stepping out of the backstage entrance, and heading for the ring! This might be a little bit rash and ill-advised, but Amy doesn't seem to care! She grabs a microphone and steps into the ring, facing Ken Collins without any fear or hesitation.

A. Lin: You want to try it... go right ahead. Let's see you take me when we're face to face, instead of jumping me during my fight with Stacey. Just try to suplex me again. Let's see you try to take me face-to-face instead of coming from behind.

Amy Lin seems pretty irate over what happened last Monday, but Ken Collins doesn't seem to concerned with it...

K. Collins: First of all, word in the locker room has it that you're not a bit adverse to people taking you from behind--

Amy Lin slaps Ken Collins! She didn't like that a bit! The slap draws a loud "oooohhhh" from the crowd, but Ken Collins just rubs his cheek and smiles, then continues.

K. Collins: And second of all, it's not you that I want to fight tonight, so I won't be suplexing you...

As Ken Collins talks, Stacey Lockman slips behind Amy Lin and hooks her by the waist... German suplex!! Stacey Lockman just suplexed Amy Lin, and the crowd erupts in cheers!

K. Collins: Stacey will.

And now Stacey's hooking Amy's arm in her legs and... California Crossface!! Stacey Lockman has Amy Lin trapped in the California Crossface, and the crowd's loving it! But wait just a second... here comes the Black Plague! Troy, Tony, Rebecca, Lorenzo, Brujah, and Desmond... they're all charging out of the backstage entrance down the ramp, and sliding into the ring! Troy Black quickly grabs Stacey Lockman by the hair and pulls her off of Amy Lin, then tosses her into the grasp of Lorenzo Vasquez. Ken Collins rushes Troy Black... but Brujah and Desmond tackle him to the mat, then hold him back! With Stacey Lockman restrained by Lorenzo Vasquez, and Brujah and Desmond holding Ken Collins back, Troy Black grabs a microphone.

T. Black: You're either suicidal or stupid, and I can't figure out which one. But you're right about one thing... you didn't get enough abuse two weeks ago, but that's only because Johnny Smiles decided to come in and save you. So if you want to step back into the ring with Tony Garcia tonight, it's your funeral. Either that... or you apologize to Amy and get the hell out of my wrestling company.

Troy Black holds the microphone up for Ken Collins, who is still being restrained by Brujah and Desmond, but continues to look at Troy Black with an intense, defiant glare.

K. Collins: I don't want to face Tony Garcia tonight... I want to face YOU.

The crowd explodes into cheers, but Troy Black just looks faintly amused as he takes the microphone back.

T. Black: Honestly now... you saw what happened to Johnny Smiles when he wanted to face me. You've seen what's happened to everybody else that's stepped in the ring with me. You're just like everybody else... you get a bunch of intense emotions running through your blood, and you know you're ready to wrestle at the top of your game tonight... and all of the sudden, you think you can beat Troy Black. But you can't. Just like Johnny couldn't do it, and just like Falcon can't do it at the Big Fight. Your peak performance, the very best you have, the sum total of all of your skills and physical ability operating at their maximum potential... that's just not good enough to beat Troy Black.

The fact is... I'm getting a little tired of making examples of people like you. But since you suplexed Amy last Monday, and since you were responsible for this little stunt tonight, I suppose I can make a special case for you. You've got your match tonight... now here's something for you to remember me by until then.

Hold it, Troy Black just grabbed Stacey Lockman away from Lorenzo Vasquez! She's screaming in terror and squirming, trying to get out of Troy's grasp... but he just moves behind her and... German suplex!! Troy Black just suplexed Stacey Lockman, and now he's rolling out of the ring, along with Amy, Rebecca, Lorenzo Vasquez, and Tony Garcia. Brujah and Desmond hold Ken Collins, who is frantically struggling and yelling at Troy Black, for a few seconds longer, then release him to join the Black Plague as they begin to make their way backstage. Ken Collins rushes to Stacey Lockman's side, checking on her to see if she's okay, then begins yelling threats to Troy Black as the Black Plague disappears backstage. Ken Collins helps Stacey Lockman to her feet, and they head backstage as well, with the crowd cheering them as they go.

We're ready for our first match now... and the generic, cheesy entrance music of Russel "The Muscle" Taylor is playing over the arena sound system now. The crowd barely even responds as Russel Taylor comes running out of the backstage area, slapping the hands of the few fans who actually hold their hands out to him, and enters the ring. He tries unsuccessfully to fire the crowd up in the ring, then grabs a microphone and turns to address them. He's getting mic time again!? What's up with this?

R. Taylor: Thank you for coming to the show tonight, everybody. I know that I speak on behalf of all of the great competitors in VCW when I say that we really appreciate you coming to our shows and cheering for us. Tonight, I've got a match with Rex Richards, who's also a great athlete... but I've been working really hard to improve my in-ring talents from week to week, and I think that tonight, Rex Richards has a lot to reckon with when he takes me on. I have all my mental assets... dedication, determination, and discipline... and I've been working hard towards perfecting my body, training hard and eating right. But in the quest to maximize my body's potential, I'd never use an illegal performance-enhancing drug such as steroids... and you shouldn't either. Just like me, you can achieve results naturally, if you work hard at it!

Oh, for the love of God... "Let's Get It On" by Marvin Gaye just started playing over the arena sound system, and here comes Rex Richards, along with Minako, Sophie, and Komachi. The macho, boastful posturings of Rex Richards might even be an improvement over Russel Taylor's pathetic morality speech. Rex Richards climbs into the ring, and the three women perform a rapid, awe-inspiring martial-arts exhibition around him before draping themselves across him, then helping to peel his robe from his muscular frame. He takes off his sunglasses and gives them to Sophie, who slips them into Minako's pocket while she's not looking. Rex Richards then kneels and poses, flexing his impressive muscles as a flashing red and gold spotlight shines down upon him. As his entrance fanfare dies down, he grabs a microphone and turns to address Russel Taylor.

R. Richards: Russel, you know... like you, I was once at the bottom of the ladder, and had to climb my way up the hard way, by working at it and perfecting my skills. And now... bwahahaha!! Just look at me! I'm one sleek, stylish, lethal powerhouse pimp daddy, and all my females are well-versed in the skill of karate! And coming from Japan, where the matches always have clean finishes, I appreciate all this clean competition and sportsmanship you're preaching... so I know where you're coming from, and buddy, I want to shake your hand.

Rex Richards holds out his hand for Russel "The Muscle" Taylor to shake... and Russel Taylor stares around at the crowd... looking for their support... and a portion of the crowd's actually cheering! They know that Rex Richards is just going to double-cross Russel Taylor on this handshake, and they want to see it! VCW has some pretty sadistic fans sometimes... and Russel Taylor takes the handshake... but Rex Richards spits in his face! Russel Taylor flinches and puts his hand to his face in disgust... and Rex Richards potatoes him in the side of the head, knocking him off his feet! VCW referee Linda Peterson is in the ring to officiate, and our opening match is on!

"Double R" Rex Richards
w/Minako, Sophie, & Komachi

vs.

Russel "The Muscle" Taylor

This match is very short and pathetic. Rex Richards beats up Russel Taylor for a few seconds, then hits a backbreaker on him, drops an elbow, pulls him back up, gives him a Death Valley Driver, and covers him for the three count.

Rex Richards pinned Russel Taylor after a Death Valley Driver in 0:00:24.
Rating: 1/4*

After the match, Rex Richards poses over Russel Taylor's fallen body, then steps aside to allow each of his three female companions to do the same. As Komachi takes her turn to pose, Russel Taylor starts to get up... and Komachi's helping him to his feet? Somehow, I don't think there's an altruistic motive behind this... BLUE MIST!! Russel Taylor just got a face full of blue mist from Komachi, and he's blinded... she kicks him in the midsection! Komachi puts Russel Taylor in a standing headscissors, and lifts him up amazingly... POWER BOMB!! Komachi just power bombed a man who weighs well over two hundred and fifty pounds! Once again, Russel Taylor is laid out! Rex Richards and the women prepare to leave, but Sophie lingers for one last pose over Russel Taylor's fallen body, before Rex Richards yells at her to hurry up and come along. Rex Richards and the women begin making their way backstage.

Hold it... we understand we've just received some rather... odd video footage, and it's ready to play in the production truck. Let's go to that footage now...

Video Footage...

A old, crumbling, yet still majestic castle is seen among from the air, atop a green hill surrounded by plains and forests. The camera slowly comes closer to the castle, finally peering in through the doors and coming inside. The interior of the castle is mostly shrouded in darkness, with faint rays of sunright coming in through small windows, illuminating decaying tapestries and finery. The camera continues, deeper into the castle, through a door into a room with no light at all, except for one dimly lit candelabra in the middle of the room. The room is filled with vague shadows that might be any number of things... stuffed trophies, furniture, armor displays, piles of books... but it's very hard to make out what any of it is. A soft, vaguely familiar voice begins to speak from an unknown source...

Voice: In ancient days, there were no televisions or radios or telephones or newspapers to spread information across the world. Most who lived in these times couldn't even read... and if they could, there was nothing to be read but the Bible and a few other documents. The only way that most people knew what was happening around them was to perceive their surroundings with their own senses... and so they feared the darkness and the shadows, which obscured their vision and further limited what they could know. What could be lurking where they could not see? It might be a monster, or a murderer, or an evil spirit... or it might be nothing at all.

The candles suddenly flicker as a gust of wind rushes through the room, then a gloved hand reaches out from the darkness and begins extinguishing them, one by one.

Voice: In the twenty-first century, of course, things are different. Science has documented or disproved all of the terrors of the night, and made that information known to every person in the modern world. With the knowledge provided by science and the safety provided by an organized police force, people have learned to feel safe in the darkness. They no longer fear what might await them in the darkness if they turn out the lights. They are no longer frightened of shadows.

The hand hovers over the last burning candle, then suddenly enfolds the flame and extinguishes it as well.

Voice: But perhaps they should be.

The camera lingers in the darkness, alone, for a few seconds.

Voice: Beware the shadows... they move when you're not looking.

The darkness continues for a few seconds longer before the footage ends.

That was... definitely unusual. That voice seems to have been distorted somehow... but it faintly sounds a little familiar... this is quite strange. Who could have sent this tape in, and what do they mean by it?

Putting that... somewhat unexpected scene behind us, we're ready for our next match. The Super Giant Ninja is already in the ring... and "You Oughtta Know" by Alanis Morissette begins playing over the arena sound system, bringing forth Amy Lin for her second match in VCW, along with Rebecca Black... and she still seems to be a little sore after that suplex and crossface from earlier. The crowd begins booing loudly and chanting "SLUT!", but Amy's chosen ring attire of a silver tube top and leather pants also attracts a few catcalls from men in the crowd as Amy makes her way to the ring. She climbs inside, and VCW referee Bobcat McGavin calls for the bell to start this match off!

The Super Giant Ninja

vs.

Amy Lin
w/Rebecca Black

This is another short, ugly opening match. The Super Giant Ninja and Amy Lin match martial arts... but the Super Giant Ninja comes nowhere near connecting on Amy with his sluggish, oafish offense. Amy easily avoids the clumsy Ninja and breaks him down, doubling him over with kicks to the legs and midsection, then hits a double arm DDT, rolls him over, and climbs up to the top turnbuckle to hit him with the Moonsault for the win.

Amy Lin pinned The Super Giant Ninja with the Moonsault in 0:02:04.
Rating: -**

In all respects, this is about par for the course for the Super Giant Ninja, as Amy Lin stops to lay in a few extra stomps and kicks on his fallen body, then rolls out of the ring and heads backstage with Rebecca Black. Amy Lin now has two wins in VCW, and it's probably a good bet that we'll see that number growing rapidly as she continues to compete here. After a few moments, the Super Giant Ninja also gets up and staggers backstage, having lost yet again, this time to a woman barely one-quarter of his size.

Up next, we have a four-corners match between four former VCW World Tag Team Champion teams... those being the Wrecking Crew, the Manhunters, Jacob Idol and Rob Solomon, and the Middle-Aged Outlaws. And sure enough... "Smells Like Nirvana" by Weird Al Yankovic begins playing, bringing out the Middle-Aged Outlaws, the team of "The Immortal" Hunk Higgins and Ruby Richard Cage, along with their scrawny, worthless manager, "The Pest of the West" Jesse Smark. They enter the ring, and... oh, God... not AGAIN! Yes, Ruby Richard Cage has a microphone...

R.R. Cage: You love me... you hate me... you'll NEVER get rid of me.

The crowd boos. That much is true... these two losers have been tougher to exterminate than gigantic rainforest cockroaches. We may not be rid of him for quite a while...

R.R. Cage: Dudes and dudettes, cats and chicks, and all you little kids out there, the baby boomer generation proudly brings to you the ONE-TIME! ONE-TIME! ONE-TIME! ... VCW TAG team CHAMPIONS of the WOOOORRRLD... "The Immortal" Hunk Higgins... Ruby Richard Cage... the MIDDLE-AGED OUTLAWS!!!

H. Higgins: And brother, if you're not down with that, we've got two words for ya... TOUGH CRAP!!

The crowd boos, and Hunk Higgins grabs the microphone... you can practically see a gibberish-filled tirade coming on as he inhales to speak.

H. Higgins: Well, you know somethin', M-A-O-ites, while me and the big man, Ruby Richard Cage, may have gotten screwed out of the VCW World Tag Team Titles by the sissy tie-dye wearing Ontario Hippie Show, and their little Canadian friends Clod Solomon and Mar*CENSORED*era's personal little testicle turkey, Jacob Idol, we're still on our winning streak, brothers. They didn't pin us, they didn't rightfully win our titles, and it's just a matter of time before we get 'em back, brother. And tonight, just like I bodyslammed George Gonzalez at Wrestlewar, just like I won the Gulf War for this great country by dropping the big leg on that no-good Iraqi commie Sargeant Slobber, I'm gonna blow through all the competition and win this match to keep the M-A-O winning streak alive, brothers. So Wrecking Crew... Manhunters... Idol and Solomon... what'cha gonna do when the forty-two inch ANACONDAS, the big man Ruby Richard Cage, and the former ONE-TIME! ONE-TIME! ONE-TIME! VCW World Tag Team Champions RUN WILD ON YOU!?!?

Oh, brother... I suppose that it wouldn't do any good for somebody to tell him that Rob Solomon and Jacob Idol aren't the Ontario Colour Show's friends, and that Rob Solomon isn't even Canadian... but that's probably beside the point. "Domination" by Pantera just fired up on the arena sound system, drawing loud cheers from the crowd... and here comes the Wrecking Crew!! The Wrecking Crew rushes into the ring, and begins beating the hell out of the Middle-Aged Outlaws... but "Devil's Dance" by Metallica begins playing, and the Manhunters charge out of the back to the boos of the crowd, with Stormy Weathers running behind, and begin assaulting the Wrecking Crew. And now "Kashmir" by Led Zeppelin hits the arena sound system... and the boos get even louder as Jacob Idol and Rob Solomon of the Hammer of the Gods run to the ring, followed by Jasmina Chastity, and they begin attacking the Middle-Aged Outlaws! Chaos reigns freely in the ring as Brendan Powers climbs inside, calling for the bell to begin this match!

Middle-Aged Outlaws
w/Jesse Smark

vs.

Manhunters
w/Stormy Weathers

vs.

Wrecking Crew

vs.

Hammer of the Gods (Jacob Idol & Rob Solomon)
w/Jasmina Chastity

After Brendan Powers manages to establish some order within the giant brawl, it's decided that Manhunter #2 and John Uldwall are the legal men, and they begin tearing into one another viciously. Manhunter #2 unleashes a slow, but methodical offense consisting of power moves and vicious chops, but John Uldwall fights back with hard right hands, devestating slams, and massive shoulder tackles, keeping Manhunter #2 off-guard. Manhunter #2 tags in Manhunter #1, and he fares no better, taking a beating from John Uldwall before John Uldwall tags out to Blade. After being pummelled briefly by the Wrecking Crew, Manhunter #1 tags in Ruby Richard Cage, who goes on the offense with even less success, and quickly ends up in serious trouble as the Wrecking Crew proceed to take him apart with power moves. The match could have been over very quickly, but Jacob Idol breaks up a pin attempt, then tags himself in from Ruby Richard Cage.

The Wrecking Crew goes after Jacob Idol as well, but he quickly gains the advantage with an eye gouge, then a kick to the groin, drawing impotent threats of disqualification from Brendan Powers. He manages to isolate John Uldwall, and for several minutes the Hammer of the Gods and the Manhunters take turns beating the hell out of John Uldwall, trapping him on their half of the ring and working him over mercilessly. Several times, John Uldwall manages to make a comeback and fight off his attackers, but each time, before he can make a tag, someone else will run in and tackle him or pull Blade off of the apron, preventing the tag. Finally, after beating John Uldwall nearly senseless, Manhunter #1 plants him with a chokeslam, then tags in Manhunter #2, and they both go up to the top turnbuckle... DOUBLE DIVING HEADBUTT!! Manhunter #2 goes for the cover as Manhunter #1 blocks a save by Blade... but Jacob Idol comes in and breaks the pin with a DDT on Manhunter #2, then drags Manhunter #2 to his corner and tags himself in!

The Manhunters aren't happy about that, and immediately direct their aggression to Jacob Idol... but Rob Solomon comes in, and begins brawling with them as well! And now the Middle-Aged Outlaws are in the ring, joining in the melee for the hell of it... but in all the confusion, John Uldwall crawls to his corner makes the tag, and here comes Blade! Blade comes in, and immediately joins the fray, as everyone continues to brawl. Chaos fills the ring, and slowly begins spilling to the outside, as Jacob Idol and Rob Solomon throw both Manhunters out of the ring, then Rob Solomon goes up to the top turnbuckle and wipes them both out with a flying cross bodypress from the top turnbuckle to the floor!

Inside the ring, the Middle-Aged Outlaws turn their attention to Blade... just in time for him to mow them both down with a double clothesline! But as the Outlaws roll out of the ring, Jacob Idol comes up from behind Blade, and nails him with a low blow, then rolls him up... but they're too near the ropes, and John Uldwall reaches in and tags himself in from Blade at two! He enters the ring and destroys Jacob Idol with a spear tackle, a running powerslam, and a power bomb, then crouches in the corner, as Blade climbs up to the top turnbuckle. Jacob Idol begins to get up, not aware that he's in the crosshairs... BREAKDOWN!! Jacob Idol is left a twisted shell on the mat! The Manhunters just looked up from their two-on-one attack on Rob Solomon and saw what's happening... but Blade runs at them and wipes them all out with a plancha anyway! John Uldwall goes for the cover, and Brendan Powers counts... but Ruby Richard Cage slides in and pulls John Uldwall off at two... and gives him the Ruby Cutter! Hunk Higgins tags in John Uldwall's stunned body, and Ruby Richard Cage tosses him out of the ring. Hunk Higgins bounces off the ropes... BIG LEG DROP!! He hit the Big Leg Drop on Jacob Idol's unconscious form, and goes for the cover... and Blade slides in to make the save, but Ruby Richard Cage blocks him... and Hunk Higgins gets the three-count! The Middle-Aged Outlaws just WON this match!!

Four Corners Match:
The Middle-Aged Outlaws defeated The Hammer of the Gods (Jacob Idol & Rob Solomon), The Wrecking Crew, and The Manhunters when Higgins pinned Idol after the Big Leg Drop in 0:13:49.
Rating: DUD

Unbelievably, by being at the right place in the right time, the Middle-Aged Outlaws have stolen another victory! The sad fact is that with this win under their belts, and a title reign in the recent past, they have to be considered top contenders for the VCW World Tag Team Titles. The Wrecking Crew seems pretty pissed off about the outcome, as perhaps they should be... the Middle-Aged Outlaws stole their thunder after they had the match won with the Breakdown! They're advancing on the Middle-Aged Outlaws threateningly... but the Manhunters come in and attack them from behind! The Manhunters are attacking the Wrecking Crew again... but the Wrecking Crew's fighting back! The brawl quickly spills out of the ring, and begins moving towards the backstage entrance as they brawl on the entrance ramp, with Stormy Weathers following them, yelling encouragement at the Manhunters.

Meanwhile, in the ring, the Middle-Aged Outlaws are celebrating their victory... but Rob Solomon's up on the outside, and he looks pretty angry... he's got the hockey stick! If the Middle-Aged Outlaws were smart at all, they'd be running away right now... but they're not, of course. They continue to pose and celebrate in the ring... and Rob Solomon slides into the ring, then takes Ruby Richard Cage off his feet with a massive shot from the hockey stick! Hunk Higgins turns around... and Rob Solomon nails him in the midsection with the hockey stick! A second hockey stick blow connects with Hunk Higgins's head, and he goes down! Jacob Idol's up now... and he puts Hunk Higgins in an armbar submission, as Rob Solomon begins beating the hell out of Ruby Richard Cage with his hockey stick!

The Middle-Aged Outlaws have just been beaten to a bloody pulp, and the Hammer of the Gods pose for the crowd over their fallen bodies, actually getting a smattering of cheers mixed in with the boos for their attack. Jacob Idol grabs a microphone from someone outside the ring...

J. Idol: Listen, you two old, decrepit comedy acts, you've screwed up our plans for the last time. You've been getting really damn lucky for the past three or four months... but you're luck's about to run out. Since we can't enter the Big Fight, and we can't challenge for the VCW World Tag Team Titles... we want a match with you two at the pay-per-view. We'll end your stupid little winning streak... or if we don't, we'll never show our faces in VCW again. Just think that over, you two old bastards... your winning streak, against our careers.

Rob Solomon doesn't seem to be totally thrilled with that challenge... but Jacob Idol just laid it out on the table... their careers against the Middle-Aged Outlaws' winning streak! Ordinarily, the outcome of that match would be beyond question... but the fact is that for the past several months, the Middle-Aged Outlaws have been more or less undefeated in tag team competition, due to a series of flukes and bizzare occurances... and if they can do it one more time at the Big Fight, Jacob Idol and Rob Solomon will be on their way out of VCW! They head backstage, as Jasmina Chastity and Rob Solomon argue with Jacob Idol, questioning his sanity in making that challenge.

"Blinded By The Light" by Manfred Mann begins playing over the arena sound system, and here comes Robert Danson, along with Nicole. He's got quite a task ahead of himself tonight, though... he's facing Black Plague member Lorenzo Vasquez. He enters the ring and poses for the crowd with Nicole, getting a good round of cheers, then grabs a microphone and prepares to address the crowd.

R. Danson: Hey, everyone... thanks for coming out here to see me again. But I have to admit, I'm not really looking forward to this next match. As you all know, I'm a pretty sportsmanlike, gentlemanly kind of guy... a real class act... oh, and I've got a killer body and a great smile, too. But my opponent tonight... well, he's kind of a sleazeball. I'm talking about Lorenzo Vasquez. He's a pretty shady character, I have to tell you... really underhanded and unprofessional. Yessirree, he's a cheating, thieving son of a gun... he may look like a completely brainless idiot, but that's just to fool people into letting their guard down. All in all... I don't like him.

And then there's Rebecca Black... who, quite frankly, disgusts me. Let me tell you something else... people sometimes say that Nicole's got a wild side to her, but that hellcat Rebecca is just--

"Kiss My Ass" by Ted Nugent just started playing over the arena sound system, and here comes "The Barcelona Assassin" Lorenzo Vasquez, along with Rebecca Black... I think he's heard enough of Robert Danson. The crowd boos him loudly as he comes to the ring and snatches a microphone from some poor guy at ringside, then climbs inside, holds the ropes open for Rebecca to do the same, and turns to face Robert Danson.

L. Vasquez: Listen, you happy-go-lucky dumbass, I don't give a shit whether you like me or not. Do you know why? Because you're nobody... you never will be anybody... and to sum it up, you suck. You're a blight on VCW's roster, you piece of shit... and if I paid your little Nicole over there a five dollar bill to suck my dick, I'd want some change back.

That might have taken things a little too far... Robert Danson just rushed Lorenzo Vasquez, and started hammering away at him! Jerry Rogers enters the ring and calls for the bell, and this match is now underway!

"The Barcelona Assassin" Lorenzo Vasquez
w/Rebecca Black

vs.

Robert Danson
w/Nicole

Robert Danson nails Lorenzo Vasquez with some strong offense, bumping him all around the ring and taking him down repeatedly, never once letting up or giving him a chance to take a break from the constant onslaught. Lorenzo Vasquez quickly bails out to the outside of the ring and tries to regroup as Rebecca consoles him, but Robert Danson follows him out and bangs their heads together, continuing his offensive flurry. But the momentum shifts outside the ring when Lorenzo Vasquez reverses a whip to the guardrail, then smashes Robert Danson face-first into the ringsteps, ringpost, and apron, and bashes his arm repeatedly into the ringpost.

They return to the ring, and Lorenzo Vasquez begins viciously working over Robert Danson's arm, dropping knees on it repeatedly and generally assaulting it in any way he can. He applies a short arm scissors, but Robert Danson manages to pull himself to the ropes, forcing the hold to be broken. Lorenzo Vasquez pulls him up and roughs him up with a combination of punches, then twists his arm... but Robert Danson reverses the armwringer, then whips Lorenzo Vasquez into the ropes... and runs him down with a massive clothesline! But that didn't help Robert Danson's arm one bit, and he's still in pain as Lorenzo Vasquez gets up. Robert Danson continues unloading on Lorenzo Vasquez, slamming him to the mat repeatedly, suplexing him, and using his vastly superior power to keep Lorenzo Vasquez flying around the ring like a rag doll. With Lorenzo Vasquez reeling, Robert Danson hauls him up and goes for the Running Powerslam... but Lorenzo Vasquez drops down behind him and shoves him forward into the turnbuckle! Robert Danson staggers backwards after colliding chest-first with the turnbuckle... and Lorenzo Vasquez grabs him from behind and takes him down with a tiger suplex, for a count of two and three-quarters!!

Feeling the advantage shift back in his favor, Lorenzo Vasquez drills Robert Danson with a shoulderbreaker, a legdrop, and a belly-to-back suplex, then places him on the top turnbuckle. He's going up after him, and trying for a superplex... but Robert Danson blocks and counters with a front-layout superplex, and Lorenzo Vasquez sells that like he was shot, bouncing off the mat and flopping around like a wounded fish before going limp on the mat. Robert Danson climbs down and continues going after Lorenzo Vasquez, fighting back the pain in his arm as he unloads on him with power moves. After a backbreaker, then a fallaway slam, then a power bomb, Robert Danson goes to the top turnbuckle... he could be looking for his flying legdrop here! But Rebecca Black just came up behind Nicole on the outside of the ring, and put her in the Blackout!!

Rebecca Black's choking Nicole out... and Robert Danson climbs down from the top turnbuckle and jumps down from the apron to the outside! He pulls Rebecca Black off of Nicole, and drills her with a massive punch that draws a huge pop from the crowd... and now he's climbing back up to the top turnbuckle! He comes off with the flying legdrop... but Lorenzo Vasquez had time to recover, and he rolls out of the way! He's getting up, but so's Robert Danson... and he catches Robert Danson with a kick to the groin! Robert Danson doubles over... and Lorenzo Vasquez hits the single arm DDT, and flows into the Barcelona Armbar!! Robert Danson's caught in the Barcelona Armbar, but he's not giving up... he's struggling, desperately pulling himself towards the ropes... he's slowly making his way to the ropes, inch by inch... but Lorenzo Vasquez is tightening the hold, leaning into it, putting more pressure on... and Robert Danson finally taps out!! Lorenzo Vasquez wins!!

Lorenzo Vasquez made Robert Danson submit to the Barcelona Armbar in 0:11:27.
Rating: ** 1/4

Robert Danson is down on the mat, clutching his arm in pain... and Lorenzo Vasquez raises his hands in victory, then rolls out of the ring to console Rebecca Black. She's saying something to him... and he doesn't look happy about what he just heard! He turns around and rushes Nicole, tackling her to the floor! Come on... this isn't necessary at all... he's rolling her into the ring, and climbing in after her! She gets to her feet and tries to run... but Lorenzo Vasquez grabs her by the hair and punches her right in the face, knocking her down! This is getting a little bit tasteless here... and he grabs her arm... he's putting the Barcelona Armbar on Nicole!! For God's sake, what's wrong with him!? She's completely defenseless, and she never did a thing to him... she's screaming in pain and tapping out, but Lorenzo Vasquez is just leaning back on the hold, trying to put more pressure on her arm! But Robert Danson's getting up... and Lorenzo Vasquez quickly rolls out of the ring, rejoining Rebecca Black, and begins quickly walking backstage! Robert Danson stops to check on Nicole, then begins yelling threats to Lorenzo Vasquez, but he's disappearing into the backstage entrance, not wanting any part of Robert Danson's revenge.

As Robert Danson tends to Nicole, we understand we have some more video footage to show you... this time, it's from Falcon, who's currently resting at his home in South Dakota, nursing his injured back, by order of VCW. Let's go to that tape now...

Video Footage: At Falcon's House...

Falcon and Lady Erica Whitmore are shown sitting in a cluttered, decaying room. The off-white paint on the walls is peeling in several places. The furniture looks old, but actually well-maintained, though every coffee table or end table is covered in old beer bottles, some of them from beers that haven't been out of production for several years. Of course there's a brand new big screen television and a state-of-the-art stereo system with speakers four feet tall at the head of the room. Falcon and Erica each have a new bottle of beer in their hands. Despite being in his element, Falcon looks restless as he sits in the chair.

Falcon: Yeah, I suppose I shouldn't waste this camera time... for whatever reason, you guys made me sit at home this Monday, but you felt the need to send a camera guy out here to get my comments. And my number-one comment is that I don't like sitting at home with a stupid injury... and I WILL be back next week, whether you like it or not.

Even last week... I wasn't there enough. When Hell's Bikers came after us, I took Erica and got the hell out of the arena... and I wasn't there to help when they laid out Melissa and David Wright Hubbard. Now, just like everybody else in the free world, I'm not too crazy about David Wright Hubbard... about a year ago, me and him made a weekly habit of beating the living shit out of each other. But if I could have been there to help Melissa, maybe I could have stopped that from happening. And sometimes, I think that way about the past year or so. Maybe, if I'd done things differently, things wouldn't have turned out that way.

Falcon pauses to take a large swig from the beer bottle, as Lady Erica Whitmore takes a dainty sip from hers.

Falcon: But you know what? I didn't do things differently, and they did turn out this way. And now there's nothing left to do but face that fact and do something about it. A pound of cure has to be worth at least an ounce of prevention, after all... and I've got a couple metric tons of ass-kicking that I'm ready to drop on Troy Black at the Big Fight. He likes to say this is his wrestling company, that he has control over everything that goes on here... but then why was I the first-ever VCW World Champion!? And why does David Wright Hubbard have that title now? Actually... that thing about David Wright Hubbard... that's a pretty good question, but it's not my place to judge. But all that's beside the point.

The point is this... when it's too late to prevent a tragedy, all that's left is to avenge it. Troy... if you even show up for the Street Fight at the pay-per-view, don't come ready to fight for control of a wrestling company or a title belt... come ready to fight for your life. Getting your shoulders pinned for a three-count should be the least of your concerns, because I'm not looking for a victory in a wrestling match... I'm looking for a quick end to your continued existance here in VCW... and I don't care what means I have to use to get to that end.

Falcon finishes the beer in the bottle, then tries to set it on a table or shelf, only to find that they're all already full of bottles. He gets up in disgust and walks to a trash bin, only to find that it's already overflowing with bottles as well, then finally manages to balance it on top of the heap that's on the trash bin. As he looks up, he seems almost surprised to see that the camera's still there.

Falcon: I've said everything I have to say. When I get my hands on you, you'll pay for what you've done, Troy, and your little Black Plague will be put under permanent quarantine.

The camera fades out on the scene, as Falcon sits down in his chair again.

Falcon's definitely focused on the upcoming match with Troy Black at the Big Fight, but he may be getting ahead of himself... the Street Fight stipulations haven't even been accepted yet. Perhaps Troy will formally accept them later tonight... but right now, we're about to get ready for another match. Tony Garcia, Brujah, and Desmond are all currently in the ring, along with Rebecca Black, and they're ready for the next match, which will pit them against Johnny Smiles and the Heavy Metal Express.

"Degenerated" by the Lone Rangers hits the arena sound system, and the crowd bursts into a huge round of cheers as Johnny Smiles steps out of the backstage area, along with Marty Jannetty and Lars Coverdale, the Heavy Metal Express. And he has a microphone again, as he stops at the top of the entrance ramp to look into the ring at his opponents.

J. Smiles: HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRE'S JOHNNY!!

The crowd sings along, and explodes into cheers at the end of the catchphrase.

J. Smiles: You know... a few weeks ago, we all challenged the Black Plague to matches... and it didn't work out so well. For one thing, we all got our butts kicked... and that wasn't good. But it was only thanks to Rebecca Black's overactive libido and secret lusts for Lars Coverdale that Brujah and Desmond were able to beat the Heavy Metal Express. But tonight, we've got a match pitting the three of us against Brujah and Desmond... and the world's worst Santa Claus impersonator EVER, Tony Garcia.

Now, everybody knows that Brujah and Desmond got ran out of SMCW by King Rasta and a guy with a teddy bear... so I'm not worried about them. But Tony Garcia... he's a veteran wrestler, a very tough, intimidating man, and a dangerous human wrecking machine... who used to call himself "The Torturer" and wear a black sock over his head like a total GOON, and who actually let Moy Lazzario talk him into impersonating Santa Claus! In fact, if the production truck has the footage, could we show that now!?

At Johnny's request, some old video footage is displayed on the ViolenTron...

Video Footage: From VCW Monday Night Wrestling 01/03/00 (VCW 51)

Johnny Smiles runs into the ring, as "Santa Claus" sticks his head and hands into his bag full of stuff and begins rummaging for something. When Johnny gets into the ring, "Santa Claus" comes out of the bag and turns around. His fake beard and stocking cap are gone, replaced with an executioner's hood. Johnny Smiles stops dead in his tracks, his jaw dropping and his eyes going wide as he realizes that he just got into the ring with the Torturer.

The crowd, the Heavy Metal Express, and Johnny Smiles all share a hearty laugh at Tony Garcia's expense, as Tony Garcia paces back and forth in the ring, yelling at the crowd to shut up, and yelling threats and insults at Johnny Smiles. As the laughter dies down, Marty Jannetty pulls Johnny's microphone towards himself for a second.

M. Jannetty: Uh... Johnny? Wasn't he only dressing up like Santa Claus because you did it first, the week before? And didn't he still end up beating you within an inch of your life that night?

J. Smiles: Um... well... yeah, kind of... but that's not important right now! What is important is that we're gonna head to the ring right now, send Brujah and Desmond packing back to SMCW so King Rasta and Rokuru can beat them a few more dozen times, and then we're gonna beat up that poor excuse for a Santa Claus, Tony Garcia! Come on, guys, let's get in there and get them!

Johnny Smiles and the Heavy Metal Express run to the ring and start brawling with Brujah, Desmond, and Tony Garcia, as Linda Peterson enters the ring and calls for the bell, getting this match officially started!!

Johnny Smiles & Heavy Metal Express

vs.

Black Plague (Brujah, Desmond, & Tony Garcia)
w/Rebecca Black

After a few minutes, when Linda Peterson has calmed the brawl in the ring into an organized match, Brujah starts things off against Lars Coverdale. He repeatedly goes after Lars Coverdale aggressively, but each time he's thwarted when Lars's superior quickness enables him to take Brujah down with a dropkick or an armdrag takedown. After frustrating himself against Lars briefly, Brujah exchanges a glance with the other members of the Black Plague... and tags in Tony Garcia. The crowd boos, and Lars Coverdale doesn't look so confident anymore... with all due respect to Brujah and Desmond, facing Tony Garcia is a different prospect entirely. Tony Garcia's daring Lars Coverdale to hit him... and he sticks out his chin and closes his eyes! But Lars Coverdale measures him... SWEET CHIN MUSIC!! Tony Garcia goes down, and Lars Coverdale goes for the cover... and gets a two count before Tony Garcia presses him off with authority, then attacks him in a rage. But Lars Coverdale ducks under a clothesline, then bounces off the ropes, and comes off to take Tony Garcia down with a cross bodypress... which also only gets two before an enraged Tony Garcia kicks out forcefully.

Lars Coverdale makes the tag to Marty Jannetty, and they take Tony Garcia down with a double dropkick, then hook him for a double vertical suplex... but Tony Garcia blocks, then counters it by suplexing both of them at once!! Both Marty and Lars are down as Tony Garcia bellows loudly after that awesome display of power... but they're getting up... just in time for Tony Garcia to hit the ropes, and mow them down with a huge double clothesline! Lars Coverdale rolls out of the ring, and the Black Plague isolates Marty Jannetty, tearing into him and working his back over with a vengance, no doubt setting him up for Tony Garcia's Torture Rack or Brujah's Power Bomb. Their slow, methodical offense takes its toll on Marty... but when Desmond puts his head down for a backdrop attempt, Marty counters it with a Rocker Dropper! Both men need to make the tag... Desmond tags in Tony Garcia, and Marty tags in Lars Coverdale!

Lars Coverdale enters the ring to a somewhat disappointed pop, due to the fact that the crowd was hoping for Johnny. Nevertheless, he enters the fray with blinding speed, sending all three Black Plague members to the mat repeatedly with dropkicks, drop-toe holds, and armdrags as they charge him. Johnny and Marty come in and take Brujah and Desmond outside for a brawl, as Lars Coverdale turns his focus to Tony Garcia, taking him down with high-flying moves and quick maneuvers, avoiding his powerful attempts at retaliation. Lars Coverdale gives him a Rocker Dropper for a two and a half count, then goes to the top turnbuckle for a flying cross bodypress... but Tony Garcia catches him out of the the air and powerslams him!! Will he be able to do that to David Wright Hubbard at the Big Fight? Linda Peterson counts... but Lars Coverdale gets a shoulder up at two and three-quarters.

Everybody returns to their corners as Lars is now the one who's isolated in the Black Plague's corner, and they begin working him over, softening his spine up for one of their signature moves. After a few minutes of this brutality, Tony Garcia hits a devestating spinebuster, preparing to finish Lars Coverdale off, then goes for the Torture Rack... but Lars Coverdale squirms away behind him before he can get it locked in! Tony Garcia turns around... and catches a second helping of Sweet Chin Music!! Both Tony Garcia and Lars Coverdale are down... and both are going for a tag! Tony Garcia tags in Brujah... but the crowd blows the roof off the building when Lars Coverdale makes the tag to Johnny Smiles!

Johnny Smiles comes in, and like Lars Coverdale before him begins dispensing quick takedowns for everybody, fighting off all three Black Plague members rapidly. He even knocks Tony Garcia over the top rope with a superkick, where he's promptly followed by a springboard plancha from Lars Coverdale, as Marty Jannetty and Desmond also spill out of the ring, brawling. Johnny Smiles is left alone with Brujah, and he quickly begins taking him apart, with a swinging neckbreaker, then a Russian legsweep and a flying elbowdrop for two. He gives him a power bomb, which looks pretty weak compared to the stiffness and intensity behind Brujah's Power Bomb, then steps back and begins measuring him for a superkick... but Rebecca Black's up on the apron, motioning for Johnny to come over to her! Oh, for God's sake... surely Johnny's smarter than THIS!? No, evidently not... despite the crowd's protests, he's going over to Rebecca Black, and running his hands over her body as she does the same to him... AND HE STUCK HIS HAND DOWN HER PANTS!! Rebecca Black is screaming in pain, squirming and trying to get away from Johnny... but it looks like she's getting a little of her own medicine!

Rebecca finally pulls free, dropping down from the apron and doubling over on the floor, clutching her groin in pain... and Johnny's fist is half-full of short, black hair... but Brujah's up behind him as he turns around! Brujah rushes Johnny with a clothesline... but Johnny ducks! Brujah turns around... SUPERKICK!! Brujah hits the mat like a ton of bricks... and Johnny pulls him up into a fireman's carry position... SMILEDRIVER!! Johnny goes for the cover... but Rebecca Black has Linda Peterson distracted now, evidently protesting about Johnny's treatment of her a few seconds ago... and Tony Garcia's in the ring, with the wooden axe handle! It seems that he laid Lars Coverdale out on the floor with it while Linda Peterson was watching the match... and now he enters the ring and nails Johnny in the back of the head with it! He puts Brujah on top of Johnny, and slides out, as Linda Peterson turns back around... and she counts to three! Damn it!! The Black Plague wins AGAIN!!

The Black Plague (Brujah, Desmond, and Tony Garcia) defeated The Heavy Metal Express and Johnny Smiles when Brujah defeated J. Smiles via pinfall in 0:15:03.
Rating: DUD

The Black Plague just grabbed another victory, and now they're getting out of here, with Tony Garcia and Desmond helping the ailing Rebecca Black and Brujah backstage... and Marty Jannetty helps Lars Coverdale to his feet on the outside, then enters the ring to check on Johnny and help him up as well. All three do a crotch-chop towards the backstage entrance that the Black Plague disappeared into, then leave the ring and begin going backstage as well to the somewhat disappointed cheers of the crowd.

"Kashmir" by Led Zeppelin begins playing over the arena sound system next, and here comes Julian Page, as the crowd begins booing loudly. He comes to the ring and climbs inside, then grabs a microphone... it's anyone's guess what this is all about, but evidently he has something to say.

J. Page: There are only thirteen days left until I rectify the horrible mistake that was made at Wrestlewar, and regain my VCW Intercontinental Title by winning the Big Fight. But I know what you're all saying... what makes me so sure that I'll be the winner? I mean, there ARE twenty-nine other guys in there... what makes me so special? I'll tell you what it is... it's the fact that I'm still the best that VCW has to offer. They had to bring in somebody who doesn't even work here to beat me, because there's nobody in this company that measures up to my standard of excellence. Even, for instance, the guy who won the Big Fight last year... Crimson. He's pretty impressive, as a former World Champion and all... but he's no Julian Page.

If you'll recall, I hold a victory over David Wright Hubbard, for a major VCW title... and he DOESN'T. Remember when I beat David Wright Hubbard for my first Intercontinental Title? That right there conclusively proves that I'm better than Crimson... but in case that's not enough, I've got another way to prove it, and that's by beating him right here, right now, in this ring. Unless I'm mistaken, Crimson's in the building tonight, and I've got a special message for him. Crimson, get out here right now, and I'll take you apart right now!

Has Julian Page lost his mind!? He's actually ASKING for a match with Crimson? This is suicide... but it's too late to take it back now, because "Walk" by Pantera just started playing over the arena sound system!! Here comes Crimson, and the crowd's torn between booing him because he's an evil, heartless son of a bitch, or cheering because Julian Page is in store for one hell of an ass-kicking. He stops at the top of the ramp, and grabs a microphone.

Crimson: Let me get this straight, little man. You actually WANT to fight me? Surely, now... you've GOT to be kidding me.

J. Page: First of all, I'm not kidding... and second of all, my name's Julian, not Shirley, and--

Crimson: That don't matter a bit, because it's still a sissy little name for a girly little fucking BITCH like you. And I hate to spoil your little party, but I entered the Big Fight too... and that means you ain't gonna win it. Nobody's gonna win it but me, after I'm done whipping twenty-nine other asses. And when I get the Intercontinental Title... I'll be number-one contender to the VCW World Title, and whether it's that bullshit cowboy David Wright Hubbard or that fat fuck Tony Garcia, I'm gonna kick his ass and take my belt back. Just to put it in terms you can understand, boy... you're looking at the man who's gonna repeat in the Big Fight this year and walk away with the Intercontinental Title.

J. Page: You think I'm scared of you!? I'm not scared. I'm Julian Page. I beat David Wright Hubbard to get the Intercontinental Title... and last I saw, David Wright Hubbard beat you. You--

Crimson: That's funny, because last I saw, I stuck that man in the mat with the Chokeslam and pinned him for the three-count... just like I'm about to do to you, you little piece of shit.

Crimson's on his way to the ring, heading straight for Julian Page... and he's sliding inside! Bobcat McGavin climbs into the ring to officiate this match, and it's beginning now!

Crimson

vs.

Julian Page

Julian Page starts off aggressively from the opening bell, throwing everything he has at Crimson... to absolutely no effect. Crimson soaks up Julian Page's attempts at offense and just gets mad, hurling him around the ring violently and mauling him with massive right hands. Julian Page gets knocked around the ring for a while, in serious trouble, until finally he's able to slip in a low blow, which neutralizes Crimson's devestating offense. Julian Page takes Crimson down with a kneebreaker, then begins rapidly dropping elbows into his right knee. It's hard to fault his strategy, going after the legs of a much larger opponent... but Crimson just keeps shrugging it off. Even when Julian Page puts on a half Boston, the move that made David Wright Hubbard pass out at Disaster Area 2000, Crimson quickly makes it to the ropes, forcing the break of the hold. Crimson begins getting up, and Julian Page just can't keep him down... then Crimson starts attacking, and once again Julian Page is at his mercy.

Crimson continues beating the hell out of Julian Page, and now he's stepping his offense into high gear! Crimson gives Julian Page a devestating gutwrench suplex, then a massive full nelson ragdoll slam, but he's not going for the cover... he pulls him up, and whips him into the ropes... and nearly decapitates him with a massive boot to the head! Julian Page is down and out, and Crimson poses over his body, snarling triumphantly... and now he's making the sign for the Chokeslam! He picks Julian Page up by the throat and lifts him... but Julian Page shifts in his grasp, then hooks an arm around his head falling back... DDT!! Just like David Wright Hubbard did at Wrestlewar, he countered Crimson's Chokeslam with a DDT... and he knows he has to finish it now! He grabs Crimson's legs... and he's putting on a figure-four leglock!! But Crimson's never been known to submit, and it doesn't seem like he intends to start now... he's fighting it, and trying to turn it over... but Julian Page has the ropes, and he's using them for leverage! Even Crimson can't turn it over like this... but he bellows loudly, and pulls himself backward with his hands... and he just broke Julian Page's grip on the ropes! And now he's continuing to pull himself backward with his hands... it's not happening quickly, but Crimson's using his awesome power to pull himself to the other side of the ring... he's getting closer... and he made it! Crimson gets the ropes, and Julian Page has to release the figure-four leglock!

Julian Page and Crimson are both getting up now, but Julian's up first... and he's reaching in his tights! He pulls out a pair of brass knuckles as Crimson turns around... and he nails him right in the side of the head with them!! But Crimson doesn't even go down!! He bellows at Julian Page, then dares him to hit him again... but Crimson puts a hand up to block this swing! And his other hand goes to Julian Page's throat... CHOKESLAM!! This time, he hit it, and Julian Page is laid out! Crimson puts one foot over his chest, and Bobcat McGavin, evidently deciding to overlook the unsuccessful use of the brass knuckles, makes the academic three count.

Crimson pinned Julian Page with the Chokeslam in 0:06:41.
Rating: DUD

Julian Page is a flattened mess on the mat, and Crimson's standing up and limping away... his work here's done. Julian Page has just been laid to waste. If he wants to get his VCW Intercontinental Title back, he'll have to try a different tactic other than going toe-to-toe with Crimson. A few moments after Crimson's departure, Julian Page finally peels himself up off of the mat and staggers backstage, no doubt regretting whatever impulse made him decide to come out here and challenge Crimson tonight.

Before we get to our next match, we understand that Ziggy Adderloaf is currently backstage with a very irate Ken Collins and Stacey Lockman. Let's go to that right now! Take it away, Ziggy!

Backstage...

Ziggy Adderloaf is standing backstage with "The California Crippler" Ken Collins and Stacey Lockman. Stacey Lockman is still wincing in pain and rubbing her neck, no doubt due to Troy Black's German suplex earlier... and Ken Collins just appears to be beside himself with anger.

Z. Adderloaf: Ken Collins, you've got a match with Troy Black coming up in just a few seconds... any thoughts on--

K. Collins: Ziggy, I don't think I'm capable of rational thought right now. I'm running on pure instinct, and my instincts tell me that after what Troy Black did to Stacey... after what he and all his henchmen have done to my friends... there has to be some payback. Troy Black says that he knows that I'm not on his level... but I know that I am. I've been burning up inside, waiting for this chance to prove myself and take Troy Black down off of his high horse... and tonight's the night that all that comes to pass. Tonight, Troy Black... you're not just stepping in the ring with one of the best technicians that wrestling has ever seen... you're getting in the ring with a machine that runs only on instinct... a machine that has been designed for your destruction. You're the one who's a big shot... you're the one who's the most dominant force in VCW... but let's see you prove it. Let's see what you've got.

Ken Collins immediately turns and stalks away from Ziggy Adderloaf, surprising Stacey Lockman, who quickly turns to follow him. Ziggy Adderloaf just looks back at the camera.

Z. Adderloaf: I guess there are more important things on his mind than talking to me right now. Let's get back to the ring, where that match is about to start!

The camera fades out on Ziggy Adderloaf and the backstage scene.

Ken Collins is ready for blood tonight... he's running on pure inner fury, and if Troy Black gets cocky with him tonight, it could be a big mistake. But now the arena lights were just replaced by dim silver-blue lights, and "For Whom The Bell Tolls" by Metallica is playing over the arena sound system. Here comes Troy Black, along with Amy Lin and Rebecca Black... and for all Ken Collins's intensity and passion tonight, let's not forget that this is Troy Black we're talking about here. He's been in threatening situations before... he's held his own against the very best that VCW has to offer... and Ken Collins is going to have to basically wrestle a near-perfect match to stand any chance of beating him tonight outside of a freak accident. Is Ken Collins up to the task? Can he actually beat Troy Black tonight? Troy Black certainly doesn't seem worried about it as he poses on one of the top turnbuckles, getting a deafening chorus of boos from the crowd, then steps down and embraces Amy.

And now "Liquid Mercury" by Jimmy Page hhits the arena sound system, bringing out Ken Collins, with Stacey Lockman. He doesn't have the special light-show and fanfare that Troy Black's entrance did, but the crowd still bursts into cheers as he begins heading for the ring, eyes focused on Troy Black. He climbs inside, stepping past Amy Lin and Rebecca Black, and stares directly into Troy Black's eyes, not flinching or turning away once as his determined, intense glare meets Troy Black's nonchalant gaze. VCW referee Brendan Powers is in the ring to officiate, and this match is starting now!

Troy Black
w/Rebecca Black & Amy Lin

vs.

"The California Crippler" Ken Collins
w/Stacey Lockman

After a brief staredown, they lock up. Troy Black goes for a side headlock, but Ken Collins counters with a belly-to-back suplex... but Troy Black flips out behind him, and lashes out with a spin kick to the head... but Ken Collins ducks, then wraps around and grabs Troy Black from behind... German suplex! Ken Collins just took Troy Black down with a release German suplex, and the crowd explodes in cheers! Troy Black gets up and charges in with a clothesline, but Ken Collins ducks under and wraps around him again, taking him down with a second release German suplex! Troy Black gets up, then grabs Ken Collins and tries to whip him into the ropes... but Ken Collins spins around and ends up behind him, then takes him down with a third release German suplex!

Troy Black rolls out of the ring, and Rebecca Black and Amy Lin come to his side and begin consoling him... but Ken Collins runs forward and springs off the top rope, nailing all three of them with a springboard cross bodypress! But he doesn't let up, pulling Troy Black out of the wreckage and dashing him head-first against hard metal objects around the ring, whipping him into the guardrail, and giving him an intense beating before rolling him back into the ring. On the inside, Ken Collins continues going after Troy Black... but Troy Black catches his foot on an attempted kick, then ducks an enzuigiri, and Ken Collins falls flat on his face. Troy Black measures him as he gets up... then takes him down with a quick, vicious throat jab.

Troy Black begins taking control of the match, and now it's his turn to start taking Ken Collins apart. But in contrast to Ken Collins's fast-paced, intense offense, Troy's attack is more predatory and calculated in nature, as he measures every blow before delivering it and seems to carefully plan what sequence of moves he wants to unleash upon Ken Collins next, focusing on his neck. After a two-count from a reverse neckbreaker and a legdrop, Troy Black pulls Ken Collins into a standing headscissors, going for a piledriver... but Ken Collins counters with a backdrop, but Troy Black turns it into a sunset flip! But rather than holding it for the pin, he holds Ken Collins's legs and steps through into a scorpion deathlock... but as he applies the hold, he leaves one of his own feet too far back, and Ken Collins quickly grabs it and twists out of the scorpion deathlock, in the process taking Troy Black down into an ankle lock submission! Troy Black yells out in pain and quickly scrambles to the ropes as the crowd cheers the quick counter-wrestling by Ken Collins.

Ken Collins is forced to release the hold, but he stays on the offense, now viciously targeting Troy Black's neck, first with a few elbowsmashes to the back of the neck, then with repeated suplexes and neckbreakers. Both men are going after one another's neck in this match now... and it's been well-documented that Troy Black has had a few neck injuries in his past, so this could be exactly what Ken Collins needs to do in order to win this match. Still in control, he brings Troy Black to the mat with a headlock takedown, then holds the headlock tightly. This isn't just any resthold... he's grinding his arm forcefully against Troy Black's neck, putting on the pressure, trying to rip his head right off his shoulders! Troy Black begins trying to force his way up... and the crowd's booing, but he's slowly making it! Troy Black makes it to his feet and breaks the hold with a belly-to-back suplex, then pulls Ken Collins to his feet and whips him into the ropes... but Ken Collins reverses, and runs off the other side! Troy Black ducks a clothesline from Ken Collins, and they bounce off the opposite sides... and Troy Black springs into the air with a leaping clothesline... but Ken Collins ducks and rolls under, then smoothly springs to his feet and leaps up on the middle rope, jumping off to nail Troy Black with an Asai moonsault just as he gets up! The ensuing pin attempt only gets a two count, but once again, Ken Collins has stayed one step ahead of Troy Black!

Ken Collins takes Troy Black down with a stiff snap suplex, then goes behind into a waistlock as Troy Black gets up. The crowd cheers... and Ken Collins takes Troy Black down with another release German suplex! Troy Black pulls himself to his feet... and takes a kick to the midsection! Ken Collins puts him in a standing headscissors, then takes him down again with a piledriver! But he's still not going for the pin... he's going up to the top turnbuckle! Troy Black starts to pull himself back to his feet... he turns towards Ken Collins... FLYING DROPKICK!! Troy Black goes down in a heap, and Ken Collins gets up and goes forward to pin him... but Troy Black sits up like a zombie!! Ken Collins takes a step back, a little thrown off-guard by seeing Troy Black sit up from one of his finishing moves... then charges forward with a clothesline, but Troy Black catches his arm and swings up in a crucifix! But Ken Collins stays up, balancing his weight on his shoulders... DEATH VALLEY DRIVER!! Ken Collins hooks a leg and goes for the pin, but only gets a count of two and a half. That would have perhaps put away a lesser opponent, but Troy Black's still in this match!

Ken Collins pulls Troy Black up and puts on another waistlock... and he gives him a German suplex! But he's holding it, rolling through... and he gives him a second German suplex, then holds the waistlock as he rolls to his feet again, to give Troy Black a THIRD German suplex!! He rolls up again, but instead of executing a fourth German suplex, he puts Troy Black up on one of the top turnbuckles, facing the crowd. Now he's climbing up after him... and he puts on a waistlock! He's not going to... TOP-ROPE GERMAN SUPLEX!! Troy Black just got folded up like an accordian, and now Ken Collins is going for the pin... and Troy Black kicks out at two and three-quarters! Ken Collins pulls him up again, and this time puts on a full nelson... DRAGON SUPLEX!! He holds the bridge... and Troy Black kicks out at two and nine-tenths!! Ken Collins is pulling Troy Black up again and grabbing him in a waistlock... BACKDROP DRIVER!! That may have done it! Ken Collins goes for the pin... and Troy Black somehow gets a shoulder up at the last possible fraction of a second!

Ken Collins pulls Troy Black up again... it seems like he's going to try something different this time... and he pulls him up in a gutwrench! The crowd explodes into cheers as Ken Collins hoists Troy Black into position for the Destiny Driver... but Troy Black squirms and manages to counter it with a spinning headscissors!! Ken Collins and Troy Black both get up... and Troy Black knocks Ken Collins off his feet with a spin kick to the head! He pauses to rub his neck, trying to massage away the pain that must be nearly unbearable after all that abuse. Ken Collins gets up again, but Troy Black catches him from behind, going for a belly-to-back suplex... but Ken Collins flips out behind him and puts on a waistlock! Troy Black nails Ken Collins with a back elbow, then squirms free and puts on a headlock, takes a running start, and brings Ken Collins down with a bulldog! He pulls Ken Collins up and places him on the top turnbuckle, then goes up after him... he's going for a superplex! But Ken Collins blocks it and doubles him over with a series of shots to the ribs, then stands up and pulls Troy Black up in a gutwrench waistlock! He's holding him upside down on the top turnbuckle, and the crowd's cheering wildly... he wouldn't really... TOP-ROPE PILEDRIVER!! Ken Collins may have just killed Troy Black! The crowd explodes into cheers as Rebecca Black lets out a tortured scream, and Ken Collins goes for the cover... TROY GETS A SHOULDER UP!! Unbelievably, Troy Black got a shoulder up after that top-rope piledriver, just before the three count!

Ken Collins pulls Troy Black up again, and gives him a shoulderbreaker... and we know what that usually sets up! He hooks Troy Black's arm in his legs... and puts on the California Crossface!! By pulling back on the head, this move targets the opponent's neck as well as their shoulder... and Troy Black's neck has to be nearly fractured after taking all of this abuse from Ken Collins! Troy Black's never submitted in his career, but he may be forced to submit to literally save his neck here! He's slowly pulling himself to the ropes, but they're a long way away... he's slowly making his way there, slowly crawling and reaching out for the ropes... he might just make it! He's getting closer, and Ken Collins begins pulling back harder, his face and body turning red from the effort of trying to rip Troy Black limb from limb... but Troy Black's still crawling to the ropes! Troy Black's starting to foam at the mouth, with his teeth clenched tightly as he crawls towards the ropes... and with one last, desperate lunge, he makes it!! The crowd explodes with a chorus of boos, but Troy Black just made it to the ropes!

Ken Collins gets up, looking absolutely enraged... and he grabs him by the hair and drags him into the middle of the ring, then reapplies the California Crossface!! The crowd cheers loudly, and Troy Black is struggling again, trying to make it to the ropes... but is there any way in hell he has enough left in him to do that again!? Surely even Troy Black has his limits... can he make it all the way to the ropes to break the California Crossface again! He drags himself painstakingly about half a foot towards the ropes... he reaches out, but the ropes are still two or three feet away! Troy Black continues to reach out uselessly with his free hand... and then it trembles briefly and falls limp! Troy Black just passed out in the California Crossface... but someone's coming out of the backstage area! Several someones, actually... it's the entire Black Plague!!

Brendan Powers goes down to check Troy Black's arm... and it falls twice each time he lifts it. But as he starts to lift it a third time, the Black Plague members reach the ring and begin sliding inside... but Ken Collins sees them, and gets up! Lorenzo Vasquez charges in... and Ken Collins takes him down with a massive chest chop! Brujah runs at him, and Ken Collins kicks him in the midsection, then grabs his head and rams it into the head of the oncoming Desmond, sending him down as well! Tony Garcia charges with a lariat, but Ken Collins ducks... and he mows down Lorenzo Vasquez, who was just standing up again, instead! Tony Garcia turns around, and Ken Collins backs him up to the ropes with a series of punches, then knocks him out through the ropes with a savate kick! Brujah gets back up and charges again... and Ken Collins backdrops him out of the ring! Desmond starts to get to his feet as well, but Ken Collins kicks him in the midsection and tosses him out of the ring!!

Ken Collins just cleared the ENTIRE Black Plague out of the ring... but Troy Black rolls over and sits up like a zombie behind him!! DAMN IT! Not again!! NOT NOW!! Ken Collins turns around... right into a kick to the midsection from Troy Black! He doubles over... and Troy Black gives him the double arm DDT!! The crowd boos loudly as Troy Black goes up to the top turnbuckle... BLACK DAGGER!! Troy Black crawls across him for the cover... DAMN IT!! He gets three!! Troy Black just defeated Ken Collins!!

Troy Black rolls out of the ring, holding his neck as he winces in pain, and immediately Rebecca Black and Amy Lin rush to his side and begin tending to them. The crowd rains down a chorus of deafening boos and a hail of trash upon the Black Plague, but fortunately they seem more concerned with tending to Troy Black and helping him backstage than attacking Ken Collins after the match. They all quickly go backstage, leaving Stacey Lockman to help Ken Collins to his feet. Weary and battered, Ken Collins poses on each of the top turnbuckles to a huge round of cheers from the crowd... this was a great match, and he had Troy Black beaten before the Black Plague arrived! The crowd's cheers continue as Ken Collins and Stacey Lockman leave for the backstage entrance.

What a match that was... and the main event's still to come! "Perfect Strangers" by Dream Theater begins playing over the arena sound system, and here comes Lance Errington, as the crowd begins booing loudly. He climbs into the ring, and grabs a microphone... this isn't a good sign. He's getting ready to say something...

L. Errington: Last week, David Wright Hubbard attacked me. Maybe he just wants Melissa to watch his back for him. Maybe he thinks that my life isn't already a living hell. Maybe he thinks that I need to suffer more. But whatever the reason, he attacked me. Last week, I felt that the pain that he inflicted on me... and when I got up, I laughed about it, because he can't really hurt me. The people who hate you can't even begin to hurt you as much as the people who claim they love you... and it's no secret that me and David Wright Hubbard both hate each other. The last time we met, I wounded his leg, giving him the knee injury that still plagues him today... but tonight, I'll score a deeper wound. Tonight, I'll fatally wound his pride by taking the only thing that matters to him, the VCW World Title, so that he too might understand what it means to live in a life that's empty and devoid of meaning.

Lance Errington tosses the microphone aside, and leans back in a corner of the ring, awaiting the entrance of the VCW World Champion... and now "War Pigs" by Black Sabbath begins playing over the arena sound system, and the crowd gives a loud, mixed response as David Wright Hubbard steps out of the backstage area. It's obvious there's still a large portion of the VCW audience who doesn't care much for him... but he seems to be ignoring them, and ignoring everything else for that matter except for Lance Errington. But the knee injury that Lance Errington mentioned is still obviously bothering him... his knee's in a kneebrace, and he's walking with a limp as he climbs into the ring. Jerry Rogers climbs into the ring to officiate, and this match is underway!

For the VCW World Title:

David Wright Hubbard (c)

vs.

Lance Errington

David Wright Hubbard begins the match with a great deal of aggression, bouncing Lance Errington around the ring with massive right hands and generally beating the hell out of him, not giving him any chance to mount much of an offense. But after taking some punishment from David Wright Hubbard, Lance Errington ducks under a big lariat, then dropkicks him in the knee when he turns around. David Wright Hubbard goes down, and Lance Errington immediately goes after his injured knee... a knee injury that he's responsible for creating. But when Lance Errington goes for a figure-four after a few well-placed attacks to the knee, David Wright Hubbard uses the other leg to kick him away, into the turnbuckle.

Lance Errington staggers out of the corner, and David Wright Hubbard regains the advantage, assaulting Lance Errington with massive punches and slams, culminating in a massive vertical suplex where he holds him up for several seconds before bringing him crashing down to the mat. He goes for the cover, but gets only a two count, and that seems to make him mad, causing him to throw Lance Errington out of the ring and begin assaulting him on the outside. But Lance Errington reverses a whip into the guardrail, sending David Wright Hubbard knee-first into the steel ringsteps, then retakes the advantage, bashing his head into the ringpost and sending him into the guardrail before bringing the match back inside.

Inside the ring, Lance Errington continues to work over David Wright Hubbard's injured knee, driving repeated elbows into it, stomping away at it, and twisting it mercilessly. After a few minutes of assault, Lance Errington puts on a half Boston, but David Wright Hubbard manages to pull himself to the ropes, though not before more damage is done. And this only grants David Wright Hubbard a temporary reprieve; Lance Errington immediately goes back on the attack, continuing to assault his knee. Finally, after a kneebreaker and an Ace Crusher, Lance Errington goes for the Scorpion Deathlock... but David Wright Hubbard reaches up and gouges him in the eyes! Lance Errington staggers back briefly, clutching at his eyes, then shakes off the effects and goes back to David Wright Hubbard... but now David Wright Hubbard is up, and he drills him with a crashing blow from his right hand!

David Wright Hubbard starts trying to shake off the pain in his knee as he begins unloading punishment on Lance Errington, beating him mercilessly. He whips him into the ropes... and nearly tears his head off with a massive lariat! Lance Errington ends up a twisted heap on the mat... but David Wright Hubbard only gets a two-count on a pin attempt! He whips Lance Errington into the ropes again... and blasts him in the face with a huge boot when he comes off! That didn't help his knee at all... but he's fighting back the pain, and pulling Lance Errington into a standing headscissors! He's looking for a power bomb... but Lance Errington counters it with a Frankensteiner! David Wright Hubbard's getting up... and Lance Errington takes him down with a kneebreaker! And now he's ripping off his kneebrace... he grabs his legs and steps through... SCORPION DEATHLOCK! Lance Errington has David Wright Hubbard trapped in the Scorpion Deathlock, in the middle of the ring! This could be the move that brings us a new champion!

David Wright Hubbard's not giving up easily... he's fighting the hold, trying to push up out of it... but Lance Errington leans back into it further, and it seems to be thwarting his attempt to break the hold! Now he's going to try something different... he's crawling for the ropes! He's a long way away, and not making much progress... but he's slowly making his way there! Part of the crowd is getting behind him, cheering him on, while the other part boos... and he's crawling towards the ropes, inch by inch! Lance Errington's trying to hold his ground, and leaning back on the hold to increase the pressure, but David Wright Hubbard's determined to reach the ropes! He's almost there... he's still dragging himself forward... and he makes it! David Wright Hubbard just made it to the ropes, and Jerry Rogers is ordering Lance Errington to release the hold... but Lance Errington just spits in his face! Lance Errington begins pulling back on the hold, tightening it further, and refusing to release it... and Jerry Rogers calls for the disqualification!

David Wright Hubbard defeated Lance Errington via disqualification in 0:12:49.

(David Wright Hubbard retained the VCW World Title.)

David Wright Hubbard is still the champion... but Lance Errington's just not releasing the Scorpion Deathlock! He's continuing to hold it on, and continuing to cause damage to David Wright Hubbard's knee! But someone's coming out of the backstage area... it's Melissa, and she's carrying a chair! She's running to the ring... but Amy Lin's running out of the backstage area after her! Melissa runs to the ring and slides inside... but Amy Lin runs up and grabs her foot from the outside, and pulls her out again! Melissa turns and raises the chair to attack Amy... AND AMY SENDS IT INTO HER FACE WITH A SPIN KICK! Melissa collapses on the outside of the ring... and Amy Lin pulls her up, and drags her to the ramp... and plants her double arm DDT on the steel ramp!!

Melissa's out cold, and Amy Lin gives her fallen body one last kick before turning to walk backstage. She came out here from the Black Plague to make sure that Melissa wouldn't be able to chase Lance Errington away... and as a result, he still has David Wright Hubbard trapped in the Scorpion Deathlock, with Jerry Rogers powerless to do anything about it! After a few more moments, the H.A.R.P. Squad and the rest of the VCW officials come pouring out of the backstage area and come to the ring, and they finally manage to pull Lance Errington off... but David Wright Hubbard had to be in the Scorpion Deathlock for a total of two or three minutes, at least! What could that have done to his already badly-injured knee? Some medical crews are coming out for the fallen VCW World Champion now, as Lance Errington is dragged away by the H.A.R.P. Squad... and we're out of time for this week! Join us next week for the final episode of VCW Monday Night Wrestling before the Big Fight! See you next Monday!!

Using silly string and crazy glue together can result in a rather horrifying situation.
