Monday Night Wrestling 03/19/01 (VCW 112)

Hello, once again, and welcome to VCW Monday Night Wrestling! Tonight, we're coming to you straight from the VCW Arena in California, and we're prepared to serve up some of the best wrestling action known to man! And it starts now, with a few major announcements!! Joining us live via satellite from his office in the Ivory Tower just a few blocks down the road is VCW Commissioner James Applebee! The ViolenTron suddenly shows him sitting in his office behind a large wooden desk, with many stacks of papers on it. The crowd gives a mixed response of mostly cheers upon seeing James Applebee, though it seems that most of them would prefer that he appear in person.

J. Applebee: Greetings, VCW fans. As you may know, I'm VCW Commissioner James Applebee. Tonight, I have to address a few issues that have come up in the past few weeks in VCW. First and foremost among those issues is the question of who will receive a shot at David Wright Hubbard's VCW World Title at the next VCW pay-per-view event, No Quarter. Last night, Tony Garcia and "Macho Man" Randy Savage, two men who have to be considered top contenders for that title, battled for the shot. However, the match ended in a double pin, and the circumstances surrounding the ending of that match were, to say the least, highly controversial.

A murmur of assent comes from the crowd, but they're not quite sure what to think, not knowing where Commissioner Applebee's going with this.

J. Applebee: The legal advisors of the Black Plague have sent me a memo, reminding me that by the precident set in the case of the Chris Champlain-Tim Bell double-pin on May tenth, in 1999, both men participating in a match where a double pin takes place have won that match. Furthermore, they have suggested to me that in light of that fact, and in light of the fact that David Wright Hubbard sought to interfere in their match for his own ends, that the appropriate thing to do would be to name both Tony Garcia and "Macho Man" Randy Savage as number-one contenders to the VCW World Title, and declare that David Wright Hubbard will defend the title in a Triple Threat Match against Randy Savage and Tony Garcia at No Quarter. And I agree with them... to a point.

The crowd gives a mixed response, many of them booing. That's not a popular line of thinking, though it is grounded in some acceptable reasons.

J. Applebee: However, I feel there are other circumstances that should be considered. Not the least of which is my belief that David Wright Hubbard's actions last week in interfering in that match were the actions of a man who has been provoked by intimidation tactics and outright gang assault to the point where he is no longer able to stand by and let his enemies take shots at him. Furthermore, I believe that given the chance, Randy Savage and Tony Garcia would form a temporary alliance to perhaps severely injure David Wright Hubbard in a match like that, and at the very least would seek to make him a non-issue in the match before fighting over who will pick up the pieces... and to my mind, that would not be acceptable. There should be another element in that match, an element that would neutralize the possibility that Randy Savage and Tony Garcia might conspire to work together.

What I have done, therefore, is to select the names of the rest of the top ten contenders for the VCW World Title, and work from there to select a fourth element for that match. There are eight others. For obvious reasons, Troy Black, Lorenzo Vasquez, and Crimson are not acceptable choices, leaving us five. Lance Errington is a long-time enemy of David Wright Hubbard, and likely to conspire with Tony Garcia and Randy Savage, so I've ruled him out as well. That leaves us with four... Julian Page, Johnny Smiles, Ken Collins, and Falcon. And of those four men, I feel that the correct choice is the one who hates the Black Plague and Randy Savage above all others, who would not allow them to enact a conspiracy against David Wright Hubbard in this match. And I feel that that one is Falcon.

The crowd gives a mixed reaction for that, and a sizable "WE WANT JOHNNY!" chant mingles with a "COLLINS" chant... but nobody's chanting for Julian Page, not surprisingly.

J. Applebee: Therefore, at No Quarter, the main event of the evening will be a Quadruple Threat Match for the VCW World Title, set for one fall with a sixty minute time limit. And it will be David Wright Hubbard defending the VCW World Title against Tony Garcia, "Macho Man" Randy Savage, and, should he be healthy enough to compete at that time, Falcon! ... But in the event that Falcon cannot compete that night, a replacement will be chosen to fill his place in the match.

The crowd gives a mixed response, mostly cheers, but with a sizable amount of boos from the spurned fans of Johnny Smiles and Ken Collins. It's still possible that Falcon may not be well enough to compete in that match... he's still out nursing his injured back.

J. Applebee: Now, onto one other announcement. David Wright Hubbard is obviously not physically fit to compete, given the condition of his knee... however, as last week's events show us, that won't stop him from getting physically involved. If David Wright Hubbard chooses to become physically involved regardless of his health, then that's his choice, and it's my choice to see to it that he does it in a sanctioned manner. So he will be competing tonight, in a six man tag team match. The Black Plague may select any three of their number, and those three individuals will face David Wright Hubbard and the Wrecking Crew in tonight's main event!!

The crowd gives a mild round of applause for that announcement, and it may indeed be the right thing to do. If David Wright Hubbard needs to physically involve himself in VCW matches, let it at least be as an official participant.

J. Applebee: Thank you all for your time and attention. I have a few more meetings ahead, and some more decisions ahead of me, but you, the VCW fans, will be kept informed of further developments in the coming weeks or even the coming hours. Thank you for your time, and enjoy the show!!

Commissioner Applebee has spoken, and the results are a Quadruple Threat Match for the VCW World Title at No Quarter, and a six-man tag team match between the Black Plague and David Wright Hubbard and the Wrecking Crew tonight! The crowd here may have some issues with some of his decisions, but barring further unforseen events, it seems that they'll stand.

We're ready to kick things off with our opening match now. "Talk Dirty To Me" by Poison begins playing, and that brings forth the trio of Marty Jannetty, Robert Danson, and Moy Lazzario, accompanied by Nicole. All three of these men will be teaming together tonight, and they have one thing in common... they're friends of Johnny Smiles, the VCW Intercontinental Champion. They'll be facing all three members of Hell's Bikers tonight, and given the problems that have started to develop between Johnny Smiles and Crimson, they could be in for a nasty experience. They enter the ring and start posing together, with the crowd cheering them on.

The crowd's cheers are replaced by boos as "Highway To Hell" by AC/DC starts blaring over the arena sound system, and Crimson, Jack Norman, and Butch Manson step out of the backstage area and begin heading to the ring. Crimson looks especially surly, and his three opponents tonight might just end up paying a painful price for being friends of Johnny Smiles. Hell's Bikers hit the ring and start brawling with their opponents, and Jerry Rogers calls for the bell! This match begins now!

Hell's Bikers (Jack Norman, Butch Manson, & Crimson)

vs.

Robert Danson, "The Heartbreak Dude" Marty Jannetty, & Moy Lazzario
w/Nicole

As the brawl dies down into a wrestling match, it begins pretty evenly. Jack Norman and Butch Manson take the field in the early goings of this match, and a fairly even contest results, as the power and brutality of Jack and Butch is matched by the technical skill and/or high-flying skill of their opponents. Robert Danson, Marty Jannetty, and Moy Lazzario manage to hold their own quite effectively... until Crimson gets the tag. He quickly comes in and annihilates everyone in sight, planting Marty Jannetty with the Chokeslam for the quick end.

Hell's Bikers (Jack Norman, Butch Manson, and Crimson) defeated Robert Danson, Marty Jannetty, and Moy Lazzario when Crimson pinned Jannetty with the Chokeslam in 0:05:04.
Rating: 3/4*

The match is over, but Robert Danson and Moy Lazzario are still brawling with Butch Manson and Jack Norman, who haven't let up in their attacks... and Crimson grabs Robert and Moy from behind, then knocks their heads together! They go down, then start getting back up... and Crimson grabs each man by the throat with one hand! He lifts them up simultaneously... DOUBLE CHOKESLAM!! All three opponents are laid out, and Crimson's calling for a microphone!!

Crimson: Johnny...what you just saw is three of your no-account friends getting the shit beat out of them. Now... I told you before, I didn't appreciate what took place at the Big Fight, and I want the VCW Intercontinental Title. And if I don't get it pretty damn soon... things are gonna start getting really, really bad.

Crimson tosses aside the microphone and leaves the ring, followed by Butch Manson and Jack Norman as he walks towards the backstage entrance. Nicole enters the ring to check on her fallen friends and help them up, and they slowly begin to recover and get up, then make their way backstage to a mild round of cheers from the crowd. They made a valiant attempt, but Crimson is just an unstoppable force, especially when he's in this kind of mindset.

But up next, we're expecting a match between the team of Russel "The Muscle" Taylor and the Super Giant Ninja and... Writer's Block!? What's this about!? "Call It Stormy Monday" by the Allman Brothers Band begins playing over the arena sound system, and the crowd boos as Stormy Weathers steps out of the backstage area and comes to the ring. The crowd boos loudly as he grabs a microphone and raises it to speak.

S. Weathers: Howdy, howdy, howdy!! Ol' Stormy's back in the VCW Arena, and I got some real big stuff to tell y'all about! So you people need to shut your damn cakeholes so ol' Stormy can start talking!!

The crowd continues booing, and a chant of "STORMY SUCKS!!" rises up in the crowd.

S. Weathers: Well, to hell with you stupid folks, then! Ol' Stormy couldn't care less if the damn roof caved in and crushed every last one of you! Y'all can kiss ol' Stormy's ass!!

This isn't endearing him to the crowd at all... the boos and chant continue as Stormy glares around at them.

S. Weathers: But anyway, I've got a real special treat for all you people tonight. Ol' Stormy's group of wrestlers ain't just gonna end up another one of them old-fashioned Southern "wrasslin" groups... ohhhh, no, folks!! Ol' Stormy's about to take the world of sports entertainment over!! And to do that, let me introduce y'all to my new writers and directors... Vickie Romano and Fred Errara!!

"New York, New York" by Frank Sinatra begins playing, and the crowd's boos continue as two people step out of the backstage area. Vickie Romano is a tall woman with black, curly hair who's a dead wringer for Fran Drescher, and Fred Errara is a shortish man with a graying pompadour and goatee, wearing a cheesy sportscoat with shoulderpads big enough that he could probably play football in it. They come to the ring, and Vickie grabs a microphone, then begins speaking in a thick New York accent.

V. Romano: People... your days of being bored by all this carny-style crap that they call "wrasslin" are OVER. We're here to revolutionize sports entertainment, and give YOU, the people, what you want to see. You're tired of having your intelligence insulted by this stale product that's force-fed to you by middle-aged retired sideshow workers, and who can blame you? What you're about to see isn't wrestling... it's entertainment. And tonight, you're about to see the first two men to be changed by this revolution. They USED to be two middle-aged, out-of-shape losers in a gimmick that went out fifteen years ago... but tonight, the two men that I bring out are my hand-picked creative enforcers, infused with a brand new shot of sports entertainment attitude. So take a look at the first wave of the sports entertainment revolution. Their names are Vince and Ed, and they are Writer's Block!!

"Devil's Dance" by Metallica kicks on over the arena sound system, and the wrestlers formerly known as the Manhunters step out of the backstage area, wearing dress slacks, button-down white shirts, suspenders, and their familiar black masks. The crowd boos, and a loud chant of "BULLSHIT" erupts among the fans. Somehow, one can almost infer even through the masks that the Manhunters, or now Writer's Block, are a little bit embarrassed to be a part of this, but they're still plodding towards the ring, following orders. They climb into the ring and shake hands with Vickie Romano and Fred Errara, and remain in the ring as Vickie, Fred, and Stormy Weathers head to the outside. One of the members of Writer's Block has a "V" on his posterior, and the other an "E"... no doubt required by the VCW offices to prevent them from switching places undetected.

We understand that there's going to be a match now... Writer's Block are already in the ring, and some cheesy eighties metal music begins playing as Russel "The Muscle" Taylor and the Super Giant Ninja come running out of the backstage area, and slide into the ring. They're going after Writer's Block, and Brendan Powers enters the ring, calling for the bell to begin this match!!

Writer's Block
w/Stormy Weathers, Vickie Romano, & Fred Errara

vs.

Russel "The Muscle" Taylor & Super Giant Ninja

Writer's Block dominates early on, working over Russel Taylor and the Ninja in the usual squash-match fashion, though Russel Taylor gets off a few power moves. But when they go for the Double Diving Headbutt, Russel Taylor manages to roll out of the way, then starts going wild and taking both men down with running clotheslines and slams, actually making a successful adrenaline-feuled comeback!! It actually seems like Russel Taylor's hard work and training could pay off if he can keep up this intense offense... but someone's running out of the backstage area!! It's... it's... oh, for the love of God, he appears to be a midget wearing a rubber Vince McMahon mask, carrying a bottle labelled "VIAGRA"! What in the HELL!?!? He runs to the ring, and Vickie Romano jumps up on the apron and distracts Brendan Powers, as the midget climbs to the top turnbuckle and jumps off, breaking the bottle of Viagra over Russel "The Muscle" Taylor's head in a shower of broken glass and little pills!! Vince of Writer's Block makes the cover, and Brendan Powers turns around, conveniently ignoring the broken glass and pills scattered throughout the ring as he counts to three!

Writer's Block defeated Russel Taylor and The Super Giant Ninja when Vince pinned Russel the Muscle after outside interference in 0:03:17.
Rating: -** 3/4

The midget in the Vince McMahon mask is quickly running back to the backstage area now, and Vickie Romano grabs a microphone as the crowd begins booing loudly and chanting "BULLSHIT!" again...

V. Romano: Now THAT is sports entertainment! That's an example of a great swerve from a great entertainment writer!! THAT's what the people want to see!!

Judging by the renewed surge of boos from the crowd, that's not the case... but Fred Errara just picked up several of the pills that scattered around ringside, and shoved them into his mouth... and now he's looking up with a wild, lustful look on his face!! He grabs the microphone away from Vickie Romano, and begins speaking in a gravelly Val Venis knock-off voice...

F. Errara: But when it comes to the ladies... I'm the man you've been waiting for. You see, my package is a lot like gourmet cat food... it ends up inside pussies all across the nation, and they just can't get enough!!

The crowd continues to boo loudly as Fred Errara thrusts his crotch at them repeatedly, except for two skanky-looking women with fake breasts (obviously plants from a local strip club) who hop the guardrail and quickly strip to their bra and panties, then link arms with Fred Errara and begin escorting him backstage. Vickie Romano, Stormy Weathers, and Writer's Block are also heading backstage, and it looks like this foolishness is fortunately finally over. The mess around ringside is being cleaned up, and now we're getting ready for our next match.

"Through The Never" by Metallica begins playing over the arena sound system, and that brings forth Tim Bell, accompanied by Jennie this time. There have been problems between Jennie and the Technicians, even claims by the Hammer of the Gods that she's sleeping with Rob Solomon, but evidently tonight things have maybe been smoothed over a little bit, because she's here with Tim Bell tonight. He enters the ring, preparing for the coming match, to a mild round of cheers from the crowd.

"Let's Get It On" by Marvin Gaye begins playing over the arena sound system, and the crowd boos as "Double R" Rex Richards steps out of the backstage area, accompanied by Minako, Sophie, and Komachi, as always. They come to the ring, and Rex Richards removes his robe and poses for the crowd, flexing his muscles as a flashing red and gold spotlight shines down on him and the three women perform martial arts maneuvers at his side, then turn to the center and begin stroking his muscles and hanging off his massive frame. He takes off his sunglasses and gives them to Minako, then turns to Tim Bell, rolling his shoulders and neck as he prepares for this match. Linda Peterson enters the ring and calls for the bell, and this match begins now!

Tim Bell
w/Jennie

vs.

"Double R" Rex Richards
w/Minako, Sophie, & Komachi

Tim Bell opens up strong as the match begins, taking Rex Richards down several times and just outwrestling him in the early goings of the match, avoiding Rex Richards's superior power by keeping him off his feet and off-guard. But the tide turns as Rex Richards uses power and brawling tactics to keep coming back, unleashing some powerful offense on Tim Bell and wearing down his neck with a few elbowsmashes and neckbreakers, then a side headlock, which goes a long way towards wearing Tim Bell down, even if it doesn't excite the crowd much. The advantage shifts a few more times, with Tim Bell outwrestling Rex Richards, and Rex Richards outbrawling Tim Bell. As the match progresses, Rex Richards takes the match outside of the ring, where he dominates with brawling and power moves, then brings it back onto the ring and hits a DDT for a count of two and three-quarters.

Sensing that Tim Bell is nearly defeated, Rex Richards pulls him up into a standing headscissors and lifts for a power bomb... but Tim Bell counters it with a Frankensteiner! They get up, and Rex Richards goes for a clothesline, but Tim Bell ducks and wraps around behind him, and takes him down with a belly-to-back suplex! Tim Bell continues to unload on Rex Richards with several more suplexes, then takes him down with a savate kick to the jaw and covers him for a count of two and three-quarters. With Rex Richards dazed, Tim Bell places him up on the top turnbuckle, then climbs up after him... but Minako tackles Jennie on the outside of the ring, and begins pulling at her hair and clothes! Meanwhile, Sophie jumps on the apron to distract Linda Peterson, and Komachi leaps up and nails Tim Bell with a few punches to the abdomen before he can execute the Top-Rope Frankensteiner! Rex Richards manages to recover and lay in a few shots of his own as Komachi jumps down, then hooks Tim Bell, and takes him down with a front-layout superplex!! He follows Tim Bell down and lifts him on his shoulders... DEATH VALLEY DRIVER!! He covers Tim Bell and hooks a leg, and that gets three!

Rex Richards pinned Tim Bell after a Death Valley Driver in 0:09:03.
Rating: **

Minako breaks from her fight with Jennie to join Rex Richards in celebrating his victory as he rolls out of the ring, hands raised in victory, with the crowd booing after him. Komachi and Sophie rush to his side as well, and they begin making their way backstage together, laughing and celebrating this victory for Rex Richards. Meanwhile, a somewhat disheveled Jennie climbs into the ring to help Tim Bell to his feet, then help to escort him backstage, as the crowd gives him a few scattered cheers for his effort. This was a big win for Rex Richards, and it's beginning to look like Tim Bell might be a little off his game since losing the VCW Television Title to Brujah.

From here, we're going to go straight into another match... "New World Order" by Ministry begins playing over the arena sound system, and the crowd boos as Desmond comes out of the backstage area, accompanied by Rebecca Black. This is the first we've seen of the Black Plague tonight, but I don't think that we're going to get any comments out of him right now... he's here on business. He has a match coming up against Salvaje Demonio right now, and we're about to see that now. He enters the ring and begins gearing up for a fight as he watches the backstage entrance, awaiting Salvaje Demonio.

The crowd's boos turn to cheers as "Surfing With The Alien" by Joe Satriani kicks on, and Salvaje Demonio sprints out of the backstage area and runs to the ring. He climbs up on the apron and springs over the top rope into the ring, then runs off the ropes a few times and rolls his shoulders, before going into a stance in the opposite corner from Desmond. Bobcat McGavin enters the ring, calling for the bell to begin the match, and it's starting now!

Salvaje Demonio

vs.

Desmond
w/Rebecca Black

Like the last match, this match pits size and power against technical skill and quickness. At first, Desmond tries to outwrestle Salvaje Demonio, but that has disasterous results for him, as he's quickly taken down by Salvaje Demonio's superior technical skill. Desmond keeps at it, without success, for a few minutes, then loses his temper and flies into a rage, assaulting Salvaje Demonio with brawling power offense. That tends to work out better, though Salvaje Demonio continues to fight back with his superior quickness and technical skill every time Desmond makes a mistake. After several minutes, the match spills to the outside, and Salvaje Demonio tries to go after Desmond with a slingshot cross bodypress, but Desmond catches him and drops him on the guardrail, then begins working him over viciously, dominating in a brawl on the outside.

Inside, Desmond tries to go in for the kill with a few power moves, but Salvaje Demonio slides down his back on an attempted press slam, then gives him a belly-to-back suplex. They both take a little while to get up, but when Desmond takes a swing at Salvaje Demonio, Salvaje Demonio ducks and grabs him by the waist, then staggers him with an inverted atomic drop, and follows that up with a Frankensteiner that takes him down. Salvaje Demonio takes Desmond down with a tiger suplex for a near fall, then goes up to the top turnbuckle as Desmond gets up, and nails him with a flying cross bodypres... but Desmond catches him and gives him a huge powerslam, scoring a near fall of his own!!

Desmond pulls Salvaje Demonio up, and goes for the Outcast... but Salvaje Demonio shoves him forward, right into Bobcat McGavin!! Bobcat McGavin goes down, and Rebecca Black immediately sees an opportunity and slides a chair into the ring! Desmond turns and clobbers Salvaje Demonio, then picks the chair up and takes a swing at him with it... but Salvaje Demonio ducks, then nails him with a kick to the groin! Desmond drops the chair and doubles over, and Salvaje Demonio picks him up across his shoulders in a fireman's carry, then drops him on the chair in a flapjack!! He kicks the chair out of the ring as Bobcat McGavin gets up, then goes up to the top turnbuckle... SWANDIVE HEADBUTT!! Salvaje Demonio just hit Desmond with the Swandive Headbutt, and Bobcat McGavin counts... but before he gets to three, Rebecca Black slides into the ring with the chair and whacks Salvaje Demonio on the back of the head with it, causing a disqualification!

Salvaje Demonio defeated Desmond via disqualification in 0:08:55.
Rating: DUD

Salvaje Demonio starts to get up, but Rebecca Black whacks him in the head with the chair again, then again, and that lays him out on the mat for the time being. Desmond gets up angrily, and pulls Salvaje Demonio to his feet... and he nails him with the Outcast!! And now he's picking him up... and he does it again!! Once more he picks him up... and he gives him a third Outcast!! And a fourth, and then a fifth!! The crowd's booing loudly, and Desmond smiles, looking down at Salvaje Demonio with a sadistic, pleased grin on his face... but then it softens as a wave of calmness seems to wash over him, and he looks a little disturbed. Now he's kneeling by Salvaje Demonio's side... and flagging down the trainers!?

This is a little strange... neither the crowd nor Rebecca Black seem to know what to think of this. Desmond rolls out of the ring as the trainers come in, then begins heading for the backstage area... and speaking of that, we understand that there's a camera backstage with Desmond's Black Plague teammates. Let's go to that now...

Backstage...

Troy Black, Tony Garcia, Lorenzo Vasquez, Amy Lin, Brujah, and the Grave Digger are all sitting on a sofa or in chairs in a lavish dressing room backstage, watching the aftermath of the last match on a monitor. Tony Garcia and Troy Black exchange a frown as they turn away from the scene.

T. Black: I don't like that. He should have won that match... and I just don't know what he's thinking. I'll have to have a talk with him... the Black Plague wins matches. We don't lose them.

A general murmur of agreement comes from the Black Plague members.

T. Black: Now... we've got an option to select any three of us for a match against David Wright Hubbard and the Wrecking Crew. And it won't be me or Brujah, because we've got plans.

A. Lin: And it won't be me either... I've got a match against Christina Ellis tonight.

A cocky, but predatory smile crosses Troy Black's face as he turns to look at Amy Lin.

T. Black: Try not to wear yourself out too much... we're going to be doing some celebrating later on tonight. I wanted this to be a surprise... but I may as well announce to you all that Brujah and I are going to be the new VCW World Tag Team Champions after tonight. We've got a title match against the Ontario Colour Show... and they're ripe for the picking.

T. Garcia: Way to go, man... knock those punks out and make us proud.

L. Vasquez: Hell yeah... kick some tie-dye-wearing homo hippie ass tonight, guys.

Brujah seems a little bit less than excited with the news, and that's not lost on Troy Black, who turns to him with an eyebrow raised.

T. Black: Yeah, I know... you're normally Desmond's tag team partner. The fact is that you deserve this opportunity, and based on performances like the one we just saw... he doesn't. I've made up my mind to give you the opportunity to take your career as high as you can... and if that means cutting you loose from your anchor of a tag team partner, then that's what I'm going to do.

Brujah: That's not it. I just... uh... well, I feel guilty getting all of the opportunities here. Maybe this is too soon... maybe you should let Lorenzo or Tony have this spot.

T. Black: Brujah... listen to me. We all want you to have this chance. Look at Tony and Lorenzo... they're not jealous... they're happy for you. They want this. I want this. And it's not too soon... you're undefeated in VCW, and that means something. Tony Garcia has the VCW World Title in his future, and Lorenzo Vasquez... he hasn't been held down in SMCW like you have. Good things come to those who wait, and you've waited long enough. Now the future offers you the VCW World Tag Team Titles... will you step forward and take them?

As Troy Black speaks, the hesitation on Brujah's face slowly gives way to uncertainty, then to a smile of aggressive ambition.

Brujah: I... yeah, let's do it. We'll take those titles tonight. I've spent enough time in the shadows... it's time to step into the spotlight, and if that has to be done over the fallen bodies of the Ontario Colour Show tonight, then that's exactly what'll happen.

T. Black: Glad to hear it. And that means the rest of you... Tony, Lorenzo, and the Grave Digger... you'll be facing David Wright Hubbard and the Wrecking Crew tonight. Naturally, you can use as much brutality and excessive force in that match as you like... but then again, I don't think any of you need me to tell you that.

T. Garcia: No, you don't. I'm gonna get my hands on that man, Troy... and it may just be a three-way match for the VCW World Title at No Quarter after all.

T. Black: Not if you get to Savage and Falcon before No Quarter as well... they may have no choice but to hand over the VCW World Title to you. And one more thing, Tony... Desmond will be back soon, and I want to relax... you're the veteran anyway, and maybe you could give him a little showing of your famous locker room leadership and discuss his performance tonight with him.

T. Garcia: No problem, Troy. You just take it easy... concentrate on winning those VCW World Tag Team Titles tonight, and I'll take care of it.

Tony Garcia turns to leave the room, as Troy Black lies down on the sofa, stretching out into Tony Garcia's vacated spot and resting his head on Amy Lin's lap. The camera fades out on the dressing room scene as Tony Garcia departs.

So tonight's main event will be David Wright Hubbard and the Wrecking Crew against Tony Garcia, Lorenzo Vasquez, and the Grave Digger... but almost more significant than that news is the news that Troy Black and Brujah will be teaming up to face the Ontario Colour Show, with the VCW World Tag Team Titles on the line... though Brujah's reluctance at the initial offer does seem a little bit strange. But right now, we're going to see a different match, as former teammates collide... "War Machine" by KISS begins playing over the arena sound system, as Dean Sanders comes to the ring with the crowd cheering. He climbs inside and somewhat surprisingly, he grabs a microphone. He doesn't normally say much... what's this about? Is he here to address his match tonight, or possibly his feud with Hell's Bikers? Let's find out...

D. Sanders: Tonight, I have a match against my former teammate, Lance Errington... a match which I specifically requested. Let me tell you why, Lance... we once stood at the cusp of achieving greatness in VCW as the Golden Society. Since then, I've moved on to other things, but you... my God, you've fallen into a sad and pathetic state. Frankly, we didn't part terms on the best circumstances, but all the same... as a gentleman, I can't simply stand by and allow a former friend to become what you've become. I've heard others try to talk some sense into you, and it's been an exercise in futility, so that's not why I'm here... I'm here to do what Stiff Competition does best, and BEAT some sense into you.

The crowd cheers... but those cheers quickly turn to boos as "Perfect Strangers" by Dream Theater begins playing, and Lance Errington steps out of the backstage area. He's wearing the same clothes he was wearing last week, and they don't appear to have been washed since... and for that matter, neither does Lance Errington. His face is now covered with a scruffy beard from lack of shaving, and he shows nothing but indifferent contempt for his surroundings as he walks to the ring without enthusiasm and grabs a microphone.

L. Errington: So... another person who thinks that violence can solve all things and wonders from behind his sheltered life why I just don't care anymore. Congratulations... you're a part of the festering blight upon the Earth known collectively as humankind. In fact, you're an upstanding example... you're a former friend who turned against me in my hour of need, for some petty, selfish reason that no longer bears any importance at all. You still have your money, your prestige, and your friends... you wouldn't have the slightest idea what it's like to be in my place. What's the worst thing that happens in your life? The power goes out before your favorite TV show comes on that week? The limo gets a flat tire, so you have to ride the Rolls Royce instead? Your big-money investments only bring in six million dollars instead of ten million like last year? Somebody knocks over the cocaine tray at one of your little snob-filled parties!? I've lived that life alongside you, and once you realize the truth about the entire human race, when even the people that you once worshipped as angels put a knife right in your back... none of your pathetic little problems mean shit to me.

And now you're trying to say that you're going to do me a favor and beat some sense into me? Why, thank you very fucking much!! I was just saying to myself the other day... "You know, I really don't experience enough physical pain... I wish there was someone who could just do me a huge favor and kick the ever-loving shit out of me!" Well, thanks, old friend. I really appreciate it. ...And as the sarcasm sinks into your brain, let me tell you one other thing... not even you can dish out enough pain to faze me. When your heart and spirit are constantly chewed up and regurgitated by the razor-sharp iron jaws of the truths that I know, physical pain doesn't mean fuck-all in comparison. But you... you haven't reached that level yet. It still means something when you get hurt. And tonight, old buddy... you're about to get hurt very, very badly.

Dean Sanders stares at Lance Errington as he climbs into the ring, finally realizing just how far off his rocker Lance has become. But now Jerry Rogers is in the ring, calling for the bell, and this match is getting underway!!

Dean Sanders

vs.

Lance Errington

After a few seconds, Dean Sanders's shock and revulsion turns to aggression, and he attacks Lance Errington with a vengance, beating the hell out of him with stiff blows and slams, working over his back. But Lance Errington shows his own sadistic side as he fights back with eye gouges and low blows, then begins assaulting Dean Sanders's knee, preparing him for the Scorpion Deathlock. The advantage changes frequently in this match, as both men know each other quite well and know the counters to the other's moves. Despite different styles, they appear to be very evenly matched in both technical skill and brawling ability as well, and it remains an even match for a long time. But then Lance Errington seems to gain the advantage, as the match spills to the outside and Dean Sanders seems to blow out his weakened knee. Lance Errington continues to zero in on the weakness, even executing a figure-four leglock around the ringpost until Jerry Rogers orders the break under the threat of disqualification.

Back in the ring, Lance Errington continues the assault, executing a kneebreaker and putting on a kneebar, forcing Dean Sanders to struggle to the ropes, but not before some serious damage is done. He pulls Dean Sanders up and goes for the Ace Crusher, but Dean Sanders shoves him into a corner, then turns him inside out with a desperate lariat. Both men are down for a while, but when they get up, Dean Sanders gets the better of the ensuing slugfest and whips him back-first into the corner, then brings him out with a massive powerslam for a count of two and a half. Dean Sanders plants Lance Errington with a snap suplex, then nails him with a flying elbowdrop for two and three-quarters. Realizing that he's getting closer, Dean Sanders picks Lance Errington up and whips him to the ropes, drilling him with a brutally stiff spinebuster for a count of two and nine-tenths. Lance Errington's fading fast under the pressure of this high impact offense, and Dean Sanders knows it! He pulls Lance Errington up into a standing headscissors... but Lance Errington collapses back down to the mat.

Dean Sanders looks down at him in contempt briefly, then pulls him up again... he's going for a power bomb!! But Lance Errington backdrops out of it somehow! Dean Sanders goes for a sunset flip, but Lance Errington grabs his legs and crouches down into a cradle for a two and a half count before Dean Sanders forces him over for the sunset flip, which gets another two and a half count, but Lance Errington rolls backwards, out of the pin to his feet, grabbing Dean Sanders's legs, and he steps through... SCORPION DEATHLOCK!! Lance Errington just capped off a spectacular technical wrestling display by locking in his finisher, and Dean Sanders isn't close to the ropes... he's struggling, and trying to escape the hold... but he can't, and he taps out!! Lance Errington picks up the win!

Lance Errington made Dean Sanders submit to the Scorpion Deathlock in 0:12:11.
Rating: *** 1/4

Lance Errington just won this match, but he's not done yet... he's continuing to crank back on the hold, applying pressure in spite of his victory! Finally, as Jerry Rogers threatens to reverse the decision, Lance Errington lets up and begins heading backstage, leaving Dean Sanders in the ring, struggling to try to stand. But he's not out of the woods yet... here come Jack Norman and Butch Manson of Hell's Bikers, rushing out of the backstage area and sliding into the ring! Dean Sanders looks up in time to see them coming, and fires a few stiff chops into the massive chest of Jack Norman, rocking him back... but Butch Manson clobbers him from behind, then puts him in a standing headscissors... PILEDRIVER!! That laid him out, but it's looking like Hell's Bikers have more plans for him. Jack Norman pulls him up by the neck... CHOKESLAM!!! The crowd explodes into boos, and thanks to this sneak attack after his hard-fought match, Dean Sanders has been laid to waste!!

Jack Norman's not done yet, though... he's pulling him up by the throat again! He's going to Chokeslam him again... but Bass Rogers comes charging out of the backstage entrance and rushes to the ring, carrying a chair! He slides inside as the two members of Hell's Bikers turn to meet him, and gets up, smacking Butch Norman right in the face with the chair!! Jack Norman turns and gives the chair a big boot, kicking it into Bass Rogers's face... but he doesn't go down!! He staggers back a step, bellows loudly and smashes the chair against his own face a few times with no effect, then bellows again as he stares at Jack Norman with murderous intent! Jack Norman starts to back up... but not fast enough, because Bass Rogers levels him with a chairshot as well!

Jack Norman and Butch Manson roll out of the ring and begin retreating backstage, yelling threats into the ring at Bass Rogers, who's standing guard over his fallen partner, daring Hell's Bikers to come back as the crowd cheers him on. And, on this note, we're going to go to the feed from another camera backstage, this one observing Rex Richards after his big victory over Tim Bell tonight. Let's go to that now.

Backstage...

Rex Richards is shown backstage in the dining area, sitting at a table with Minako, Sophie, and Komachi over plates full of a Japanese-looking dish made with rice, fish, and vegetables, enjoying a post-match celebration dinner.

R. Richards: Yeah... this is the life, girls! I told everybody, I'm one bad-ass individual, and heads are gonna roll when I get back in the States... and tonight, this was just exactly what I was talking about!!

Komachi nods in quiet approval as Minako smiles and puts an arm around Rex Richards, and Sophie drinks the last from her glass of cola. It seems that Komachi has not yet touched her dinner.

Komachi: It was a good win.

Sophie: Sophie wants another glass of Pepsi.

R. Richards: Get up and get it yourself. I ain't your damn personal waiter. ... But anyway, Tim Bell never saw what hit him. I really think this is gonna turn some heads backstage--

Moy Lazzario walks past the table, with a smart-aleck smile on his face.

M. Lazzario: Yeah, Rex... as an old teammate, I have to say... that was pretty damn impressive. And I have to give credit for succeeding in what, in my mind, was a VERY difficult task... so girls, I'd just like to say that I'm really impressed with the fact that your outside interference is so effective that you can make even this no-talent lunk win matches.

Minako and Komachi turn to Moy Lazzario with angry glares, but Sophie just nods and smiles, blushing with delight at the compliment.

Sophie: Gosh... thanks. I'm really honored that you're so impressed with--

Rex Richards cuts Sophie off by banging a fist down on the table, causing her to jump back in her chair, which promptly tips over and dumps her to the floor.

R. Richards: SHUT UP!! And you... Moy Lazzario... you want some more of me, punk!? We were having some little problems of our own not too long ago. I was gonna be a reasonable man. I was gonna let bygones be bygones. But evidently that's not gonna happen, you smart-ass. How'd you like your ass kicked!?

M. Lazzario: You think I'm backing down from YOU? Name the time and place, and it'll be on like Donkey Kong, muscle-boy!

Rex Richards gets up from the table quickly, to stare right into Moy Lazzario's eyes.

R. Richards: How about right here, right now, you little punk-ass bitch!?!?

Rex Richards takes a swing at Moy Lazzario, but Moy Lazzario blocks, then begins opening up on Rex Richards with a series of right hands, rocking him. But before he can take him down, Komachi grabs him from behind and whirls him around, then spits blue mist into his eyes. Moy Lazzario begins clutching at his eyes, and Rex Richards clubs him from behind, then pulls him around gives him a DDT on the marble floor, laying him out. He looks down at him with satisfaction, then returns to his seat, as Komachi does the same. Only now does she begin eating her dinner. Sophie moans and whimpers pitifully on the floor until it becomes evident that nobody's going to help her up, then finally gets up and sets up her chair, then returns to her dinner.

R. Richards: Someone get the janitors over here... I think we found a little cockroach on the floor in the dining hall.

Rex Richards looks down at the unconscious form of Moy Lazzario on the floor with contempt, then returns to his dinner as some trainers come up to check on Moy Lazzario and offer ignored admonitions to Rex Richards. The camera fades out on the dining area.

Moy Lazzario and Rex Richards are apparently still at odds... and Moy Lazzario could have a concussion after that DDT on the solid, unforgiving floor of the dining hall. Here comes someone else who's no friend of Rex Richards... that being Christina Ellis, as "Star Cycle" by Jeff Beck begins playing over the arena sound system. She's been very impressive when given opportunities to display the depth of her wrestling ability against talented opponents, but she'll have to make use of every bit of that ability tonight if she wants to survive, let alone impress anybody... because tonight she's facing a member of the Black Plague, Amy Lin. She enters the ring and poses on one of the second turnbuckles to a burst of cheers from the crowd, then steps down and faces the backstage entrance, preparing for Amy Lin's entrance.

Andd now "You Oughtta Know" by Alanis Morissette kicks on, and that brings out Amy Lin, accompanied by Rebecca Black, to a loud round of boos from the crowd. Christina Ellis is focused, but the same doesn't seem to be true for Amy Lin, who stops to give dirty looks to fans that yell particularly nasty insults her way, and frequently exchanges whispers with Rebecca Black and breaks out into a smile or a fit of laughing. Either she's foolish enough to underestimate Christina Ellis like this, or she has something up her sleeve... and knowing what we know of Amy Lin, either of those possibilities could easily be true. Finally, she steps into the ring and begins advancing on Christina Ellis for a lockup... then steps back and mocks Christina Ellis's stance in going for the lockup, sending Rebecca Black into a fit of giggles on the outside and drawing an irritated look from Christina Ellis. Finally, Brendan Powers enters the ring, calling for the bell, and this match begins!

Amy Lin
w/Rebecca Black

vs.

Christina Ellis

Amy Lin and Christina Ellis first lock up in a technical contest, and in the opening minutes here Christina Ellis clearly comes away with the upper hand, driving home the difference in technical skills between the two women. Amy Lin's not unfamiliar with skilled technical wrestling, but Christina Ellis, having spent four or five years in Japan wrestling against some of the top women's technicians in the world, seems a little more at home. After coming up short on a few exchanges, Amy Lin gets frustrated and rolls out of the ring, kicking the ringsteps and slamming her fists on the apron, clearly muttering some choice language that the camera only partially catches. Christina Ellis follows her out with a plancha as she consults Rebecca Black, but as the brawl continues on the outside Amy Lin gains the upper hand again, then brings Christina Ellis back inside.

Amy Lin's change in tactics seems to be working, and she begins pelting Christina Ellis with martial arts maneuvers and catching her in submission holds, trying to target her right arm. This works considerably better... Amy Lin can't quite outwrestle Christina Ellis on her own terms, but if she can bring her martial arts into play and use her submission wrestling skills, she can neutralize Christina Ellis's superiority with traditional wrestling tactics. But Christina Ellis has experience facing opponents with martial arts and submission-style backgrounds, and quickly adapts to Amy's new tactics. The advantage shifts a few times, with neither woman able to pull clearly ahead of her opponent.

Finally, as Amy Lin wears down and begins to make more mistakes, Christina Ellis takes the advantage and starts in with some of her dreaded suplexes, bringing Amy Lin down hard repeatedly, no doubt preparing to unleash the Dragon Suplex if she can. But Amy Lin counters the Dragon Suplex by kicking off of the turnbuckles into a pinning situation for a two count, then regains the advantage herself, putting on a short arm scissors. Christina Ellis makes it to the ropes after a lengthy struggle, but the damage is done and her right arm is hurting badly. Amy Lin plants her with a double arm DDT, then goes for the Moonsault... but Christina Ellis is able to avoid that, and Amy Lin wipes out on the mat!

They get up, and Christina Ellis ducks a spin kick, then begins suplexing Amy Lin around the ring a few more times, ending in the Dragon Suplex!! But Amy's able to throw her right shoulder up just before three, because Christina's right arm was no longer strong enough to keep it down. Amy Lin's still in trouble, however, as Christina Ellis plants her with an amazing high-angle belly-to-back superplex!! Rather than going for the pin after that, Christina Ellis then lifts her on her shoulders... OCEAN CYCLONE SUPLEX!!! That should have it... but Rebecca Black reaches in and breaks the bridge by pulling on Christina's foot! Brendan Powers catches some motion out of the corner of his eye, and begins interrogating Rebecca... but now someone's running out of the backstage area! It's Komachi! She slides into the ring, but Christina Ellis is waiting on her! Komachi lashes out with a clothesline, but Christina Ellis ducks and tries for a superkick... but Komachi ducks that and spins around... URAKEN!! That knocked Christina Ellis into next week, and Amy Lin's getting up, as Komachi slides out of the ring and ducks out of sight!! Brendan Powers is back with the match as Amy hauls Christina Ellis to her feet and gives her a double arm DDT, then climbs to the top... MOONSAULT!! Amy Lin hooks the leg, and gets three!!

Amy Lin pinned Christina Ellis with the Moonsault in 0:12:19.
Rating: ***

Amy Lin gets up, still holding her head and neck, and raises her hands in victory... but now Komachi's climbing into the ring with her! She pauses to slap palms with Rebecca Black and Amy Lin in the ring, then turns her attention to Christina Ellis, lifting her up into a power bomb position and running... RUNNING POWER BOMB!! And now Amy Lin grabs Christina Ellis, and puts on an armbar, as the crowd continues to boo... but someone else is running out of the backstage area!! It's Melissa DelArmeggio, and she's got a chair! She slides into the ring and whacks Rebecca Black in the head with the chair, then turns and nails Komachi as well. Amy Lin gets up... and Melissa nails her with a chairshot too! Komachi gets up and charges again, but once again Melissa drills her with the chair!!

Amy, Rebecca, and Komachi roll out of the ring to the outside, and the crowd cheers as Melissa remains standing in the ring, holding the chair ready for an attack. Komachi, Rebecca Black, and Amy Lin are making their way backstage, still staring into the ring, and Melissa DelArmeggio helps Christina Ellis to her feet and helps her backstage shortly after that, as the crowd cheers them. Amy Lin walked away with the victory tonight, but if it was part of their plan to deliver a vicious post-match attack on Christina Ellis, it was interrupted prematurely. This probably won't be the last of the issues between these women.

Up next, we have a rather unusual match, made as a request by another fan who won a contest at VCW's last pay-per-view, the Big Fight. "Eye Of The Tiger" by Survivor begins playing, and if this gives you any idea... this is the introduction of the referee for this match. Hunk Higgins steps out of the backstage area to a mild round of boos, wearing a black and white striped tank top and his normal red and yellow tights as he comes to the ring. He enters the ring and grabs a microphone... oh, no, not this...

H. Higgins: Well, ya know somethin', Hunkamaniacs, I'm not just the greatest wrestler the world has ever seen... I'm not just an ICON of this sport... I'm also a man who stands for truth, justice, and the American way, brother. And tonight, I'm here to lay down the law, and show all these Johnny-come-lately cowards where the real power lies, brother, because I'm here as the referee for this next match, dude. And after I get done calling this one right down the middle, I may just let the forty-two inch ANACONDAS, the biggest guns in the industry, run wild on all the no-good Hunk Higgins wannabes in this match, brother. So what'cha gonna do when Hunkamania, the largest arms in the world, and all the little M-A-O-ites RUN WILD ON YOU!?!?

As we know, he'll be the special guest referee, in a two-out-of-three falls match with no countouts or disqualifications. "War Machine" by KISS begins playing over the arena sound system, and here comes the first team, the team of Bass Rogers and Devaccio Pola. They've got a few things in common here... they've had a violent, bloody feud with one another in the past, and they're both known for giving their opponents one hell of a beating on a regular basis. They enter the ring and wait inside for the appearance of their two opponents...

"Talk Dirty To Me" by Poison begins playing over the arena sound system, and that brings out Lars Coverdale and "The California Crippler" Ken Collins, accompanied by Stacey Lockman. These two have a little more experience working together... they were teammates in a War Games Match at Wrestlewar III, and they're friends backstage as well. This increased familiarity and unity could be a key to winning this match, considering that Devaccio Pola and Bass Rogers never did officially cool down from their previous bloody feud. They climb into the ring as well... and now Hunk Higgins is calling for the bell, and this match is on!!

Special Referee: Hunk Higgins
No Disqualification, No Countout, Two Out Of Three Falls Match:

Bass Rogers & Devaccio Pola

vs.

"The California Crippler" Ken Collins & Lars Coverdale
w/Stacey Lockman

Ken Collins starts off against Devaccio Pola, and they quickly begin beating the hell out of each other. They had a sort of mini-rivalry going in the Big Fight battle royal, and they're making up for lost time right away! Devaccio Pola takes the advantage at first, unloading on Ken Collins with hard, swift kicks... but Ken Collins catches a foot... but Devaccio Pola jumps up and clocks him with an enzuigiri! He takes aim with another incoming kick as Ken Collins gets up... but Ken Collins ducks, then grabs him from behind and takes him down with a belly-to-back suplex! Ken Collins begins working over Devaccio Pola, but after taking some slight abuse Devaccio Pola slips out behind an attempted shoulderbreaker and drops Ken Collins with a kick to the head. He makes the tag... and here comes Bass Rogers as Ken Collins gets up! Ken Collins knows better than to try to out-brawl Bass Rogers, instead trying to wrestle around him. Bass Rogers just absorbs a few dropkicks, but goes down to a drop-toe hold, and Ken Collins flows from that into an armbar! Bass Rogers bellows loudly, then scrambles to the ropes and gets up, eyeing Ken Collins warily... he didn't like that!

Bass Rogers approaches a little more cautiously next, absorbing a few chops and punches from Ken Collins, then whips him into the ropes. Ken Collins nails Bass Rogers with a dropkick, but Bass Rogers just staggers back and bellows defiantly, daring him to try it again! Ken Collins runs into the ropes again... and this time, Bass Rogers runs forward and lashes out with a lariat, but Ken Collins wraps around and swings up onto his shoulders, trying for a crucifix... but Bass Rogers stays up, then plants Ken Collins with a big Samoan Drop!! Bass Rogers tags in Devaccio Pola, who takes the advantage, going right after Ken Collins with some punishing offense. He wears Ken Collins down a little bit, then tags in Bass Rogers, who continues the beating. It's not even too long into the match, and thanks to the stiff offense of his opponents, Ken Collins already looks pretty badly mauled.

Bass Rogers keeps beating the hell out of Ken Collins, but when he goes for a running powerslam, Ken Collins slides down behind him and dropkicks him back! Bass Rogers is propelled chest-first into the turnbuckles, and he staggers backwards... right into a German suplex from Ken Collins!! Amazingly, Ken Collins just suplexed over three hundred pounds of Bass Rogers, and now he makes the tag to Lars Coverdale! Lars comes in with a lot of fast-paced offense that doesn't seem to have all that much effect on Bass Rogers, but takes him down repeatedly, finally planting him with a Rocker Dropper for a count of two and a half. He goes for a flying cross bodypress, but Bass Rogers catches him out of the air in a powerslam, also getting a count of two and a half.

Once again, Bass Rogers and Devaccio Pola take the advantage, this time severely working over Lars Coverdale, isolating him from his corner and beating the living hell out of him. Eventually, Bass Rogers drills him with a devestating power bomb... and he's going up to the top turnbuckle! This could be the Moonsault... but no, he just tagged Devaccio Pola, and he's motioning for Devaccio Pola to come up with him! Devaccio Pola climbs to the top turnbuckle, and Bass Rogers lifts him over his head in a Gorilla Press, still standing on the top turnbuckle... and he presses Devaccio Pola off onto Lars Coverdale!! But Lars rolls out of the way, and Devaccio Pola wipes out on the mat!! Lars Coverdale starts to get up, but Bass Rogers jumps off with a flying axhandle at him... but Lars Coverdale pivots and nails him with a superkick as he comes off!! Bass Rogers is down as well!

Lars Coverdale tags in Ken Collins, then tosses Bass Rogers out of the ring and dives out onto him with a corkscrew plancha as he gets up!! Meanwhile, Devaccio Pola is getting up... but Ken Collins runs in and takes him down with a leaping clothesline! He pulls him up into a standing headscissors... and takes him down with a piledriver! Devaccio Pola's down, and Ken Collins is going up to the top turnbuckle, and waiting for Devaccio Pola to get up... FLYING DROPKICK!! Ken Collins just connected with the flying dropkick, and he makes the cover... but only gets two and three-quarters from Hunk Higgins!! Devaccio Pola hasn't been weakened enough for that to finish him off!! But he's still down, and now Lars Coverdale's climbing up to the top turnbuckle... FROG SPLASH!! Ken Collins pulls Devaccio Pola up as Lars Coverdale gets up, then turns to superkick Bass Rogers off of the apron as he tries to reenter the ring... and Ken Collins drills Devaccio Pola with a power bomb!! He covers, hooking the leg, and that gets the three-count!! Ken Collins and Lars Coverdale have taken the first fall!!

The second fall begins, and this time it'll be Ken Collins starting against Bass Rogers. Ken Collins starts out with chops and punches, but avoids Bass Rogers's attempts at retaliation and takes him down with quick wrestling moves. Ken Collins knows that he's going to have to win this one on skill rather than simply trading blows. He tags in Lars Coverdale, and the two of them execute some tandem double-team offense on Bass Rogers, wearing him down further. Both Ken Collins and Lars Coverdale have had considerable success as tag team wrestlers, in addition to being close friends backstage, and their increased teamwork skills are reflecting that. They take turns working over Bass Rogers for a few minutes, getting in some good offense, but not managing to do any serious damage. Bass Rogers is pretty big and tough, and he's not going down easily! In fact, after taking a few minutes of abuse he side-steps a dropkick from Lars Coverdale, then mows him down with a big shoulderblock!!

Bass Rogers tags in Devaccio Pola, who's still obviously grumpy about losing the last fall, and immediately takes it out on Lars Coverdale, even taking him to the outside of the ring for a beating. Devaccio Pola takes his time working over Lars Coverdale on the outside, hitting him with anything that's not bolted down at ringside, and busting him open... but all that's legal in the no-DQ, no-countout environment of this match! Besides, special referee Hunk Higgins is barely paying attention anyway, often pausing to flex his muscles for the crowd or otherwise clown around instead of keeping his eye on the action. Back in the ring, Devaccio Pola tags in Bass Rogers, and they continue to dominate Lars Coverdale, who's looking like a battered, bloody mess. Finally, Bass Rogers climbs up to the top turnbuckle... and nails the Moonsault!! He hooks the leg, but Hunk Higgins is flirting with Stacey Lockman on the other side of the ring, and isn't alerted to the pin until Bass Rogers barks "GET OVER HERE AND COUNT!!" at him. But as Hunk Higgins counts, Ken Collins climbs to the top turnbuckle, and breaks the pin with a flying elbowdrop just before three!!

Devaccio Pola comes in and begins brawling with Ken Collins, and they quickly spill out of the ring, fighting on the outside. Bass Rogers rolls out of the ring as well... he's leaving Lars Coverdale alone!? No, he's grabbing a chair and coming back inside! The bloody, battered wreck of Lars Coverdale begins to stand up slowly... and Bass Rogers pastes him across the face with a vicious chairshot!! That's perfectly legal in this no-DQ match... Bass Rogers covers him and hooks a leg, and this time Hunk Higgins is on the spot and makes the three-count!! Ken Collins slides into the ring too late to stop the pin, and the falls are now even at one each!

Devaccio Pola and Ken Collins start out for the third fall, and begin trading blows, with Devaccio Pola once again getting the upper hand. He launches a flurry of kicks at Ken Collins again... but just like at the beginning of the first fall, Ken Collins catches his foot!! Devaccio Pola leaps up for the enzuigiri again, but this time Ken Collins is expecting it, and he ducks, still holding the foot, and applies an ankle lock submission!! Devaccio Pola scrambles to the ropes... but Ken Collins isn't letting go, and because of the no-DQ stipulations, Hunk Higgins can't force him to break the hold!! But Bass Rogers can, and he does, entering the ring and dropping an elbow on Ken Collins... but Ken Collins releases the hold and rolls away, and Bass Rogers only hits the mat! Ken Collins puts a headlock on Bass Rogers as he gets up, and runs forward, taking him down with a bulldog! Devaccio Pola's up as Ken Collins turns around, and he goes for a kick... but Ken Collins takes him down with a dragon screw leg whip into a half Boston!! Bass Rogers charges in again, intending to break this hold with a clothesline, but Ken Collins releases it and ducks just in time, slipping around to Bass Rogers's side and taking him down with a Russian legsweep!

Bass Rogers rolls out of the ring as Devaccio Pola gets up... and Ken Collins takes him down with a kneebreaker, then puts on a figure-four leglock!! All this has to be taking a toll on Devaccio Pola's legs! Hunk Higgins asks for a submission, but Devaccio Pola ignores him as he fights the hold, eventually managing to turn it over!! Ken Collins releases it and tags in Lars Coverdale, who comes in with a springboard clothesline on Devaccio Pola, taking him down. He goes after him further, though it's clear that he's not in top form still after that beating he took earlier. He's still bleeding heavily, and seems a little sluggish and dazed... and Devaccio Pola capitalizes on that by dodging a spinning leg lariat, then popping Lars Coverdale in the face with a massive kick! Both men go to their corners, and tags are made to Bass Rogers and Ken Collins!!

Bass Rogers comes in, swinging wildly, and seeming a little on the fatigued side, but Ken Collins takes him down repeatedly, taking the advantage as Bass Rogers begins to wear himself out. Ken Collins sends him up over the top rope with a big dropkick, but Devaccio Pola comes in to face him next... and Lars Coverdale comes in as well!! Ken Collins and Lars Coverdale take Devaccio Pola down with a series of double-team moves... but on the outside, Bass Rogers just picked up a chair!! He enters the ring and blasts Lars Coverdale with a mighty chairshot, then bellows loudly to the crowd... but as he turns around, Ken Collins mounts the top turnbuckle... AND KNOCKS THE CHAIR INTO HIS FACE WITH THE FLYING DROPKICK!! Bass Rogers was knocked out cold by that move, and Ken Collins nails Devaccio Pola with a kneelift and tosses him to the outside, then covers Bass Rogers as Hunk Higgins counts to three!! Ken Collins and Lars Coverdale have won this match!!

No DQ, No Countout, Two Out Of Three Falls Match with Special Referee Hunk Higgins:

----- x K. Collins beat B. Rogers via the Flying Dropkick in 0:23:27.
Rating: ** 1/2

Ken Collins is celebrating the victory, with his hands raised high in victory... and Hunk Higgins comes up and begins posing and celebrating beside him!! Ken Collins shoots an irritated glare his way, but then shrugs and smiles, and begins striking imitation Hulk Hogan poses! The crowd cheers, but Hunk Higgins seems a little insulted, and begins the poses himself... only to get boos from the crowd! Ken Collins poses again to another round of cheers... and Hunk Higgins poses, only to get more boos! Hunk Higgins leaves the ring and storms backstage in disgust, having lost the posedown, and now Bass Rogers is starting to come around... and Ken Collins helps him up and shakes his hand, as Devaccio Pola somewhat reluctantly shakes hands with Lars Coverdale. This was a somewhat unusual match, to say the least, but all four competitors gave it everything they had, and it'll be Ken Collins and Lars Coverdale walking away with the big victory tonight!

But right now, we understand that there are issues at hand before our next match, and that a camera is backstage to catch it all! Let's go to that backstage footage now!!

Backstage...

Jennie is shown sitting in a backstage locker room with Paul Canyon, in the middle of a what appears to be a rather serious, uneasy conversation. The VCW T & A Title belt rests on her lap as she speaks.

P. Canyon: So, I have to make sure... you're saying that thing about Rob Solomon's not true?

Jennie: No! Hell no, it isn't. He's just a creep who runs off at the mouth and hides behind a hockey stick when the going gets tough. After what he's tried to do to you, injuring you just for the sake of some gold belts... I hate that man. I'd rather sleep with Ziggy than Rob Solomon... at least Ziggy's not a self-important sadistic thug.

Paul Canyon cracks a faint smile at that comment.

P. Canyon: Don't let him hear you say that. But your word's good enough for me... if you say you're on our side, I believe you. But you're not going to tell us who the lucky guy is?

Jennie: No... I can't. Not yet. I don't know when I can tell you... but I'm just not ready to make it publicly known.

P. Canyon: I guess I understand. That's the way it is sometimes. Your life's your own, and you shouldn't have to answer to anybody but yourself as long as what you're doing doesn't hurt anybody.

Jennie sighs and looks away, obviously thinking something over.

Jennie: Yeah, but I'm a little worried that maybe it will end up--

Suddenly, the door opens, and Owen Addison barges in, looking a little less than pleased as he steps into the room.

O. Addison: There you two are! Listen... we've got a match against Troy Black and Brujah... and we CAN'T mess this one up. The titles are on the line tonight. Do you understand me!? This is probably one of the toughest matches we'll ever have, and we should be talking strategy, instead of having you two holed up in a secret room over here talking about God knows what when evidently I'm not involved.

Jennie immediately blanches at Owen Addison's words.

Jennie: Troy Black and Brujah!? ... The Black Plague!? You've got to be kidding...

O. Addison: Do I look like I'm kidding!? We've got the fight of our lives on our hands tonight, and more importantly, the titles are on the line this time. We can't afford to screw up this time. Troy Black... well, he's Troy Black, for Christ's sake... and you both know the trouble Brujah's given us. We have to be at our peak levels tonight. Think back to Wrestlewar, and the ladder match... we're gonna have to give that kind of effort again just to walk out of here with the titles tonight.

Jennie: Yeah, but... Rebecca and Amy are gonna be at ringside, right? I already got slapped around by Minako earlier tonight, and I honestly don't want to get hurt...

Owen Addison rolls his eyes backwards and takes a deep, exasperated breath.

O. Addison: God damn it... you're not trying to slip out of being there for us in THIS match too, are you!? Listen, it's not gonna fly tonight... we NEED you in our corner tonight. You're coming out with us.

Jennie: Look, I want to support you guys, but this is getting dangerous... Rebecca and Amy will both be there, and I'm sure they wouldn't mind taking me out right away...

O. Addison: Look, you're so damn brave when you're wearing a bikini or an evening gown against some damn bimbo from a strip club... you're gonna have to back us up, because this is the real thing. You're right, they aren't another bunch of talentless T & A workers... but we're not exactly facing a couple preliminary losers either here. This is Troy Black we're talking about. THE Troy Black. Former VCW World Champion Troy Black. And Brujah... we've seen him take on Tim Bell and win twice now. If we're gonna beat these guys, we have to have someone in our corner to neutralize outside interference... and that's you. I'm not asking you to come to ringside with us... I'm telling you that that's how it's gonna be.

Jennie hesitates for a second, then sighs as she looks at Owen Addison without any enthusiasm or conviction in her manner..

Jennie: I guess... I guess I'll be out there, then.

O. Addison: That's right. Now let's get out there and take care of this.

P. Canyon: Owen... you know, I'm not sure this is necessary.

O. Addison: Yeah... well this time, I think it is.

The Ontario Colour Show and Jennie walk off the scene, preparing to head for the ring.

More problems seem to exist between the Ontario Colour Show and Jennie... but back in the ring area, "For Whom The Bell Tolls" by Metallica is playing over the arena sound system, and the crowd bursts into loud boos as Troy Black and the VCW Television Champion Brujah begin coming to the ring, accompanied by Amy Lin and Rebecca Black. Brujah stops to say something to Amy and Rebecca as Troy Black walks ahead and grabs a microphone. He enters the ring and begins to speak as the crowd continues to boo loudly.

T. Black: Whether it's the VCW Television Title a few weeks ago, or the VCW World Title at No Quarter, we're taking control of the championship belts around here one at a time. And tonight, we're taking the VCW World Tag Team Titles. The Ontario Colour Show is all that stands in our way... and they won't stay standing for long. Send them forward.

"Until It Sleeps" by Metallica begins playing next, and the crowd cheers loudly as the VCW World Tag Team Champions, Owen Addison and Paul Canyon, the Ontario Colour Show, begin coming to the ring, accompanied by Jennie. She looks a little uncertain about coming to the ring, avoiding eye contact with any members of the Black Plague, while Owen Addison's demeanor is one of nervous aggression, and Paul Canyon is, as usual, stoic and composed as he sizes up the competition and mentally prepares himself for what should be one hell of a match. The Ontario Colour Show enters the ring, and Linda Peterson enters as well, calling for the bell to begin the match!

For the VCW World Tag Team Titles:

Ontario Colour Show (c)
w/Jennie

vs.

Black Plague (Troy Black & Brujah)
w/Amy Lin & Rebecca Black

The early portions of the match seem pretty even, as all four men trade the advantage frequently. At first glance, it seems that Brujah may be slightly of his league in this company, lacking the killer instinct of Troy Black or the technical mastery of the Ontario Colour Show, and it becomes clear that his intensity and aggression only go so far in countering his skill limitations. Adding to that, it seems that he's a little uncomfortable in the ring, perhaps as if not ready for this level of competition. Troy Black watches his performances appraisingly with a stone-faced, unrevealing expression, and when he's in the ring, he wears the same expression as he methodically unleashes offense on the Ontario Colour Show as well as when he's on the defensive, constantly searching for a counter or a means to regain the advantage even as he's assaulted by his opponents. The Ontario Colour Show, for their part, are up to the task tonight, and working together well, evidently realizing that the threat presented by their opponents is greater than their internal disagreements.

After several minutes of even competition, Troy Black manages to gain a firm upper hand on Owen Addison and isolates him in their corner, taking turns wearing him out with Brujah, going after his back. Troy Black has a lot of experience with ways to injure a man's back after his feud with Falcon, and Brujah realizes the obvious benefit in weakening Owen's back to set up the Power Bomb. But Owen Addison's technical skills are greater than Brujah's and arguably greater than even Troy's, and he constantly seeks to counter the offense of his opponents, looking for a tag to Paul Canyon. Troy and Brujah manage to cut off a few attempts at a tag, but when Troy Black goes for a Samoan Drop, Owen Addison slides out behind him and puts on a waistlock. Troy Black breaks the waistlock with a back elbowsmash, then tumbles forward and hooks his legs under Owen's arms, looking for a rolling forward cradle... but Owen stays on his feet and hooks his arms around Troy's waist, lifting him for a face-first power bomb... but Troy Black flips out behind him! Owen Addison turns around, and Troy Black goes for a spin kick, but Owen Addison ducks, then grabs his waist again and takes him down with a belly-to-back suplex!! Owen goes for his corner, to make the tag to Paul Canyon... and Brujah gets the tag from Troy and rushes forward... but not in time before Paul Canyon comes in with a flurry of intensity!

The Ontario Colour Show takes control of the match now. Paul Canyon dishes out dropkicks and armdrag takedowns for everybody until Owen Addison comes in to even up the odds and dispose of Troy Black, tossing him to the outside. They double-team Brujah and take him down repeatedly... and Owen Addison plants him with a backdrop driver!! Paul Canyon goes up to follow that up with the Magic Carpet Ride... but Troy Black has Linda Peterson's attention, and Amy Lin whacks Paul Canyon in the back with a chair! He tumbles forward into the ring, and Owen Addison turns to Jennie, asking her why she didn't try to stop Amy! Jennie begins protesting in return, but now Troy Black comes up behind Owen Addison and clocks him in the back of the head with a spin kick!! And Brujah's amazingly getting up, and going on the attack against Paul Canyon!!

Linda Peterson orders everyone to return to their corners again, and Brujah keeps the advantage, attacking Paul Canyon and trading tags with Troy Black as they now begin to work over his back as well. Owen Addison, standing on the apron, argues with Jennie in between trying to get tags from Paul Canyon that are inevitably cut off by the Black Plague. Finally, after a near fall from a devestating Yakuza kick, Brujah motions for the end of the match, and hauls Paul Canyon up into a standing headscissors... then lifts for the Power Bomb, but it's countered into a Frankensteiner!! Paul Canyon and Brujah both head to their corner. Troy Black gets the tag, and rushes to stop Paul Canyon... but is a fraction of a second too late, and Owen Addison gets the tag!!

Troy Black rushes at Owen Addison, but in so doing plays right into his hands, and leaves himself open enough for Owen Addison to start taking him apart, dismantling him with a series of devestating suplexes of all kinds. Owen Addison wants to take out Troy Black by working over his historically weak neck, and he puts his suplex arsenal to good use towards that goal. Brujah and Paul Canyon come in to join the fray, and it's a two-on-two brawl in the ring as all four men go at it. Owen Addison puts Troy Black down with a swinging neckbreaker... but Brujah just nailed Paul Canyon with a low blow on the other side of the ring! And now Rebecca Black and Amy Lin are heading towards Jennie with bad intentions evident in their approach... and Jennie jumps up on the apron, trying to distance herself from them! Owen Addison turns and demands to know what she's doing on the apron... but Brujah rushes him from behind!! But Owen sees him out of the corner of his eye and dodges, and Brujah collides with Jennie!! She crashes back off of the apron to the floor, landing hard om her back! Brujah hesitates, directing a concerned stare to the outside of the ring at her... and Owen Addison comes from behind in that moment of hesitation, and takes Brujah down with a backdrop driver, laying him out on the mat!!

Brujah has been knocked out... but Troy Black's up, and he's assaulting Owen Addison now!! But Paul Canyon's up too, and he dropkicks Troy Black in the back, sending him staggering forward... right into a pickup from Owen Addison... TOMBSTONE!! Owen Addison just planted Troy Black with the Tombstone, and Paul Canyon climbs to the top turnbuckle and comes off onto him with the Magic Carpet Ride!! He rolls off, and Owen Addison goes for the pin... only getting two and three-quarters!! He can't believe it... each member of the Ontario Colour Show hit Troy Black with his finisher, and that didn't get the job done!! Brujah's still knocked out... but Troy Black sits up!! The crowd explodes into boos, and Owen Addison's stare becomes even more incredulous as Troy Black begins getting up!!

Paul Canyon and Linda Peterson are on the outside of the ring, checking on Jennie, who may have been hurt in her fall from the apron... and Owen Addison's left alone with Troy Black! Owen takes a swing at him... and Troy Black blocks it, then takes him down with a lightning-quick throat jab! And now Amy Lin just slid a chair into the ring! Troy Black picks up the chair, and raises it to take aim at Owen Addison as he starts to get up... but someone's running out of the backstage area! It's Sandis!! Sandis Arlington's sprinting out of the backstage area, and he slides into the ring behind Troy Black! Troy draws back the chair to hit Owen Addison... but Sandis grabs it and pulls it away!! Troy turns around... and Sandis Arlington nails him in the face with the chair!! Troy Black staggers back... and Owen Addison grabs him from behind... BACKDROP DRIVER!! But that's not all... he's holding the waistlock and rolling through with it... and he gives him a second backdrop driver!! And he's still not done... he rolls through one more time, and drops Troy Black with a THIRD backdrop driver!! Sandis Arlington is heading backstage, having done his damage for the day... but he left the chair in the ring!! Owen Addison scoops Troy Black up and stands over the chair... TOMBSTONE ON THE CHAIR!! Brujah's still down and out, and now Linda Peterson's back in the ring to count as Owen Addison covers Troy Black... and she counts to three!! The Ontario Colour Show wins!! They're still the champions!!

The Ontario Colour Show defeated The Black Plague (Troy Black and Brujah) when O. Addison pinned T. Black with the Tombstone in 0:21:31.
Rating: *** 1/2
(The Ontario Colour Show retained the VCW World Tag Team Titles.)

This is completely unbelievable... with a little help from Sandis Arlington, the Ontario Colour Show has not only defeated the Black Plague, but they completely laid out both Troy Black and Brujah!! Owen Addison and Paul Canyon exchange a hug on the outside of the ring, and Jennie joins in, still favoring her back after that nasty spill on the outside... but wait just a second!! More people are coming from the backstage area, and they're Lorenzo Vasquez, Desmond, Tony Garcia, and the Grave Digger!! The rest of the Black Plague is heading to the ring, and they don't look happy!! Owen Addison quickly jumps the guardrail, intending to escape through the crowd, and Jennie tries to do the same... but her back's still hurting, and she can't climb over the rail! Paul Canyon scoops her up in his arms and tries to climb over with her... but he's not fast enough, and Lorenzo Vasquez grabs him and pulls him back to the ring area, then takes him head-first into the ringsteps!

Owen Addison looks back and sees that Paul Canyon didn't make it, and with obvious reluctance he grabs a chair and climbs back over the guardrail to his defense. He nails Lorenzo Vasquez with the chair, knocking him off his feet, then gives Desmond a chairshot as well... but Tony Garcia catches him in the gut with the wooden axe handle!! Tony Garcia pulls Owen Addison up and begins giving him the Torture Rack, and Lorenzo Vasquez stands over Paul Canyon, whacking him repeatedly with a chair! Now Jennie's getting up as well... and the Grave Digger grabs her! No, come on... this is just pure brutality! The Grave Digger carries her over to the entrance ramp... no, come on... Troy Black and Brujah are up in the ring, and the Grave Digger lifts Jennie... GRAVE YARD SLAM ON THE STEEL RAMP!! She already took one bad spill on the floor, and that could've seriously injured her!! Meanwhile, Lorenzo Vasquez and Tony Garcia continue to brutalize Owen Addison and Paul Canyon on the outside.

But Brujah's sliding out of the ring now, holding his head... and he's going out to the Grave Digger!? He forces him to spin around... and he's getting right in his face, as well as he can for being a foot shorter!! The Grave Digger just stares coldly down at him as Brujah yells at him incoherently... and Brujah nails the Grave Digger in the face!! Just how hard DID he get dropped on his head!? He's had his problems with the Grave Digger before, but what brings this unprovoked attack on!? This is utterly insane!! He begins staggering him back with a series of stiff punches and kicks, not giving an inch to his much, much larger opponent... but now Troy Black's on the outside, pulling him away, then standing between Brujah and the Grave Digger to prevent any further violence. Lorenzo Vasquez and Tony Garcia are continuing to attack the Ontario Colour Show...

Wait just a second!! "Domination" by Pantera just kicked on, and here come Blade and John Uldwall, the Wrecking Crew, both carrying chairs!! And VCW World Champion David Wright Hubbard's right behind them, carrying a chair as well as he limps down the ramp! Troy, Brujah, and the Grave Digger turn to meet them as they approach... and each man gets a chairshot! Troy and Brujah go down, but the Grave Digger just staggers back... until David Wright Hubbard and the Wrecking Crew all nail him with a simultaneous triple chairshot to the head, bringing him down!! Desmond charges in... and he gets whacked with a chair as well! Lorenzo Vasquez comes in too, and goes down to a chairshot... and Tony Garcia rushes in, and also takes a chairshot!! Amy Lin and Rebecca Black are wisely keeping their distance... and David Wright Hubbard and the Wrecking Crew just took down the Black Plague! The crowd's on its feet cheering... and David Wright Hubbard and the Wrecking Crew roll the Grave Digger, Tony Garcia, and Lorenzo Vasquez into the ring, and climb in after them! Bobcat McGavin enters the ring, calling for the bell, and it looks like our main event begins now!!

Black Plague (Tony Garcia, "The Barcelona Assassin" Lorenzo Vasquez, & Grave Digger)
w/Rebecca Black

vs.

David Wright Hubbard & Wrecking Crew

Bobcat McGavin immediately makes a wise call in ejecting Troy Black, Amy Lin, Brujah, and Desmond from ringside, since they're not supposed to be here, and they leave, still arguing and saying things undetected by the camera as they leave. Inside the ring, the Wrecking Crew and David Wright Hubbard brawl with Tony Garcia, Lorenzo Vasquez, and the Grave Digger, until Bobcat McGavin can restore order to the match so that only one man is in the ring at a time. Having gotten the better of the pre-match brawl, David Wright Hubbard and the Wrecking Crew maintain the early advantage in this match, but the Black Plague team's in no danger of going down anytime soon. Between two monsters like Tony Garcia and the Grave Digger and a single-minded, predatory technician-brawler like Lorenzo Vasquez, this team presents a very formidable obstacle.

The odds shift to the favor of the Black Plague when Lorenzo Vasquez is able to tag in the monstrous Grave Digger, who immediately goes on a rampage in the ring, taking on both Wrecking Crew members at once with little difficulty. The tag is made to VCW World Champion David Wright Hubbard, but even he seems a little small and ineffective against the Grave Digger, and the Grave Digger punishes him with some devestating power offense as well. After a few minutes, the Black Plague isolates Blade in their corner, with devestating effects. Tony Garcia and the Grave Digger simply brutalize him with power moves, while Lorenzo Vasquez keeps him down with more wrestling and basic brawling, working over his back at the request of Tony Garcia, who'd like to set up his Torture Rack later on in the match.

After a few minutes of dominance by the Black Plague, the tide shifts again when the Grave Digger charges Blade in the corner, running face-first into a pair of elevated boots. That merely stuns the massive Grave Digger, but it stuns him long enough for Blade to go up to the top turnbuckle... and John Uldwall runs into the ring, coming around behind the Grave Digger... BREAKDOWN!! The Wrecking Crew just hit the Grave Digger with the Breakdown... AND HE SITS UP!! The Wrecking Crew and most of the fans in the arena are simply in shock... few if any people have ever kicked out of the Breakdown, and now the Grave Digger's getting up from it with absolutely no effect!! For the first time ever, the Wrecking Crew seem to be showing a little fear as Blade tags in David Wright Hubbard.

Even after that display, David Wright Hubbard charges in undaunted, and starts taking the fight directly to the Grave Digger!! He whips him into the ropes, and nails him with a lariat as he comes off... to absolutely no effect!! The Grave Digger just stands there like a giant oak tree... but David Wright Hubbard begins nailing him with repeated punches! He's still barely budging... but David Wright Hubbard gives him a low blow, and that, at least, doubles him over!! David Wright Hubbard pulls the Grave Digger into a standing headscissors... can he actually do this!? He bellows loudly, and lifts... POWER BOMB!! David Wright Hubbard nailed the Grave Digger with a power bomb... AND THE GRAVE DIGGER SITS UP!! David Wright Hubbard can't believe it, but he quickly kicks the Grave Digger in the jaw, knocking him back down, then begins heading up to the top turnbuckle. The Grave Digger gets up, with David Wright Hubbard perched on the top turnbuckle... FLYING CROSS BODYPRESS!! But David Wright Hubbard just bounces off the Grave Digger!! The Grave Digger didn't even catch him... he just staggered back a step or two after David Wright Hubbard glanced harmlessly off of his massive chest!!

David Wright Hubbard gets up, and the Grave Digger grabs him by the throat... CHOKESLAM!! That did it... that had to do it! David Wright Hubbard is laid out on the mat, and the Grave Digger tags in Tony Garcia!! The Wrecking Crew charges in, and they begin assaulting the Grave Digger two-on-one... but the Grave Digger's barely fazed by their powerful blows! And now Lorenzo Vasquez joins the brawl as well! Bobcat McGavin's trying to tell the four men to get back to their respective corners, and somehow David Wright Hubbard's slowly getting back to his feet... but Rebecca Black just handed Tony Garcia the wooden axe handle!! David Wright Hubbard's up, looking a little glassy-eyed... and Tony Garcia nails him in the back of the knee with the wooden axe handle! He goes down, clutching his knee in pain, and Tony Garcia smashes the axe handle into his knee a few more times, then chucks it out of the ring! Bobcat McGavin's still trying to break up the fight between the Wrecking Crew and Lorenzo Vasquez and the Grave Digger... but that's not an issue anymore, as the Grave Digger grabs each Wrecking Crew member by the throat and lifts... DOUBLE CHOKESLAM!!

John Uldwall and Blade are both laid out, and now the Grave Digger's exiting the ring... but Tony Garcia just ripped off David Wright Hubbard's kneebrace and dragged him to the center of the ring! Lorenzo Vasquez does the Scott Hall double point as Tony Garcia puts a kneebar on David Wright Hubbard in the middle of the ring! He's alone, in the middle of the ring, with no kneebrace, no tag team partners to come to the rescue, and no way out of this hold... and he's tapping out!! Tony Garcia just made David Wright Hubbard submit!!

The Black Plague (Tony Garcia, Lorenzo Vasquez, and The Grave Digger) defeated David Wright Hubbard and The Wrecking Crew when Garcia made D.W. Hubbard submit to a kneebar in 0:13:09.
Rating: 1/2*

Tony Garcia gets up, raising his hands in victory, as David Wright Hubbard rolls out of the ring to the floor, and the crowd boos loudly. Rebecca Black and Lorenzo Vasquez both gather around him, patting him on the back and congratulating him... but Blade and John Uldwall are starting to get up! Tony Garcia motions for the Grave Digger to take care of them, and he does just that, knocking them both down again with a massive double clothesline! And now he's picking them both up... that's a combined weight of over five hundred pounds... and he's putting them both in position for the Burial, his Tombstone piledriver!! He's holding both members of the Wrecking Crew in position... DOUBLE BURIAL!! He just planted them both on their heads, and they're laid out!

The crowd's booing, and with good reason... even though the Black Plague may have lost a little momentum in their previous encounter with the Ontario Colour Show, they gained it back and then some with this match. The Grave Digger looks positively unstoppable... Tony Garcia just made the VCW World Champion submit in the middle of the ring, and it's hard to see anybody putting a stop to a force with this kind of power. It's becoming clear that the balance of power lies heavily in the hands of the Black Plague... but is there any hope of shifting it!? Can anyone, be they Sandis Arlington, David Wright Hubbard, or anybody else, stand against this kind of dominance? We're out of time tonight... make sure you join us next week for VCW Monday Night Wrestling!!
