La Princesa Lobo fared somewhat better against Stacey Lockman, although the match's eventual conclusion was never in doubt. The Jolly Rogers and Nurse Vivacia defeated The New Immortals and Nicole when Guycot pinned Nicole after a Tomahawk chop to the butt in 0:06:45. Rating: 1/4* --Notes: The Jolly Rogers and The New Immortals got up to all their usual silly antics in this match. Nurse Vivacia and Nicole, on the other hand, showed a lot of animosity and were less inclined toward clowning around. In the end, Nurse Vivacia put Nicole over her knee and spanked her a few times, then tagged in Tom Guycot, who finished Nicole off with a Tomahawk chop to her sore buttocks. Pauline Vietjohn and Quinn Harper defeated Sophie and The Green Dragon when Quinn pinned Green Dragon with the Quinntessence in 0:06:39. Rating: * 1/2 --Notes: Quinn Harper continued his recent hot streak, using his superior speed to repeatedly confound the stronger, slower Green Dragon. The Green Dragon managed to briefly claim the upper hand after catching Quinn Harper out of the air during a flying cross bodypress and powerslaming him down, but Quinn Harper slipped out of a Samoan drop attempt and hit the Quinntessence, and Pauline cut off Sophie's save attempt with a twisting moonsault dropkick. Heather Dannon defeated Mary Cohen by disqualification in 0:06:20. Rating: * 3/4 --Notes: Heather Dannon seemed very tentative in this match, using hit and run offense and doing her best to avoid falling into Mary Cohen's grasp. Eventually, Mary Cohen got fed up with Heather Dannon's reluctance to wrestle her, and grabbed a chair from the outside which she used to hit Dannon, getting herself disqualified in the process. The Tough Customers and Butch Manson defeated The Knights of the Squared Circle (Monty Pompous, Jacques Normandy, and Jockey Oldcastle) when Manson defeated Normandy by countout in 0:12:18. Rating: 1/4* --Notes: The Knights of the Squared Circle used their greater cohesion as a team to much advantage in this match, to the intense frustration of their opponents. Butch Manson especially had difficulty containing himself, frequently being provoked into entering the ring illegally and having to be restrained by the referee, giving The Knights of the Squared Circle ample opportunity to double and triple team The Tough Customers. Eventually, Darren Michaels managed to counter the Jacqueshammer with a big vertical suplex, then made the hot tag to a fired up Butch Manson. Jacques Normandy chose to flee the ring rather than face the wrath of his former partner, and was counted out. Dean Sanders and Devaccio Pola battled to a double countout in 0:18:26. Rating: *** --Notes: Dean Sanders and Devaccio Pola tore into each other with gleeful abandon in this match. Devaccio Pola was a good deal fresher than Dean Sanders, as a consequence of Dean Sanders' recent losing effort against Gabriel Black on This Friday in Florida, but Dean Sanders made up for it with his superior submission wrestling skills. In the end, both men were so caught up in dishing out punishment that they failed to attend to the referee's count after a spill to the floor, and as a consequence were counted out. Falls Count Anywhere Submission Match: Sadako Momotani made Melissa DelArmeggio submit to a camel clutch in 0:19:13. Rating: *** 3/4 --Notes: Although neither woman in this match could be called a crowd favorite by any stretch of the imagination, the fans couldn't help but cheer for the plethora of brutal strikes and high impact moves performed in this fight. In the closing stretch, Sadako Momotani seemed poised to put Melissa DelArmeggio through a table on the floor with a Death Valley Driver off the ring apron, but Melissa DelArmeggio slipped off her shoulders, and knocked Sadako Momotani off the ring apron and through the table with the Back Brain Kick. Melissa DelArmeggio then rolled Sadako Momotani onto the announcer's table and ascended the top turnbuckle, but Sadako Momotani rolled out of the way of Melissa's Frog Splash, and slapped on a camel clutch for the victory. The Ontario Colour Show defeated The Unholy Alliance (Jacob Idol and Rob Solomon) when Addison pinned Idol after a roll-up in 0:17:05. Rating: *** 1/4 (The Ontario Colour Show retained the VCW World Tag Team Titles.) --Notes: This match followed the standard pattern for encounters between these two teams, with Jacob Idol going after Owen Addison's shoulder, Rob Solomon grabbing the ropes for leverage during an abdominal stretch, and The Ontario Colour Show hitting all their signature spots. Owen Addison tried to put Jacob Idol away with the Tombstone, but Jasmina Chastity distracted the referee while Rob Solomon snuck into the ring and hit Owen Addison with a low blow, allowing Jacob Idol to slip out of the Tombstone and hit Owen Addison with the Inverted DDT. Before Jacob Idol could make the cover, Marylin Silvera ran down to the ring, and hopped up onto the apron, then began making kissy-faces at Jacob Idol. Jacob Idol started yelling at Marylin Silvera, which distracted him long enough for Owen Addison to regain his senses, and hook Jacob Idol with a roll-up for the victory. Johnny Smiles defeated Jeremy Tellier via disqualification in 0:03:05. Rating: 3/4* --Notes: Johnny Smiles dominated Jeremy Tellier for the entirety of the match, tossing him around the ring with little effort. A superkick sent Jeremy Tellier over the top rope and out to the floor, and when he reentered the ring, he did so with a steel chair which he used to hit Johnny Smiles, causing the referee to call for a disqualification. Johnny Smiles shook off the effects of the chair shot, however, and planted Jeremy Tellier in the middle of the ring with the Smiledriver after the match. Desmond, Chris Champlain and David Wright Hubbard defeated Lars Coverdale, Russel Taylor and Tommy Hustle when Desmond pinned Hustle with the Outcast in 0:15:36. Rating: ** 3/4 --Notes: Lars Coverdale went after David Wright Hubbard with a vengeance in this match, hitting him with a superkick in the early going for a near fall, and brawling around the ring with him every chance he got. Unfortunately, Lars Coverdale's partners did not fare nearly so well, as the sadistic tactics of Chris Champlain and Desmond's overwhelming strength proved too much for them to handle. Gabriel Black and Lance Errington defeated Brian Rivera and Marylin Silvera when Gabriel pinned Rivera after a fisherman suplex in 0:22:51. Rating: **** --Notes: Brian Rivera and Marylin Silvera had the support of the crowd and a lot of intensity going into this match. They managed to keep Gabriel Black and Lance Erringon on the defensive for the opening portion of the bout, making quick tags and not letting up the offense. Eventually, however, the superior technical wrestling of Gabriel Black and Lance Errington became a factor, and they were able to put a damper on their opponents' momentum. Near the end, Brian Rivera got a hot tag and went on a brief tear, but missed a flying legdrop and walked right into Gabriel Black's fisherman suplex. Crimson pinned Brujah with the Chokeslam in 0:12:07. Rating: * 3/4 (Crimson retained the VCW World Title.) --Notes: Brujah showed a lot of fire in this match, going after the Champ with all he could muster. Crimson seemed lazy and sluggish in the early going, but a surprise Power Bomb midway through the match earned Brujah a very close two count, and seemed to startle Crimson to his senses. Crimson then proceeded to tear into Brujah, tossing him all around the ring with a number of big slams, before sealing the deal with the Chokeslam.
